A slight issue for a game im creating

Question

im creating a game. NOTHING HUGE but a basic game just something to start off with im only 14.
but i haveing some trouble with my background for login.
this is what i have

but how do i make the background a image.?? like
ImageIcon image = new ImageIcon("picture.jpg"); or w/e it was just woke up lol

i would study some more but i rely on ppl for helpWell, its time to learn how to read books and tutorials because we don't have time to spoon feed the code every time you have a question.
Most people "learn by example", which is the reason you read tutorials and books, because they have the examples to learn from.
Quite frankly most of your code could be improved upon. People have pointed out some of the problems. I'll point out a few more:
a) learn proper Java naming conventions
b) there is no need to create a custom LayoutManager. You are just making more work for yourself.
If you would start with the [Swing tutorial|http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/TOC.html] you would have plenty of examples to learn from.
Also you should be posting Swing related questions in the Swing forum.
but how do i make the background a image.?? You also need to work on your search skills. This is one of the most common questions posted in the forum and we get tired of answering it over and over.
