A warning msg says I have to disable Trend Microvirus in order to download FF 4.0. Why can't I have AV protection?
While trying to upgrade to FF 4.0 I got an error message telling me I must disable Trend Micro Virus in order to use FF 4.0. And you would advise me when you had corrected the program and I could have virus protection.
Did you obtain Firefox 4 from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ or through a 3rd party?
Can you provide the link where you downloaded from?
You might also try [[Updating Firefox]] and see if you are offered Firefox 4.

Upgradead to v4, now cannot open Inbox in tiscali email and msg says"you have undefined emails in your Inbox". Also have lost contacts in tiscali. Reverted back to v3.6.16 and all works OK-msg then says "you have 5 emails in your Inbox" and can use normally. Can use my tiscali account OK with ie. Gliche somewhere with v4 and tiscali!! Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, I already did all of these things. As you can see from the below screenshot, the language is already set. Also, this screenshot was taken in Safe Mode, so NoScript is not enabled. About:accounts still says I need to enable cookies for some reason. So, this solution didn't work.... -

What do you mean, 'downloaded'? Take pictures where? Are you saying that you have an iPhone or iPad and you don't have enough memory for any more pictures? Adding the 10GB won't have any effect - it's extra space on the iCloud server for Documents, email, Contacts, Calendars and iPhone backup. You can't increase the memory on an iPad or iPhone by any means. If this isn't your issue please clarify what you mean.

We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple, nor is it 'live chat'.
What happens when you try to play them and what have you tried to fix it ? If they've downloaded successfully then they should be listed in the Music part of your iTunes library - if you select Music on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes do they, and if they do what happens when you double-click on them ? If you have iTunes 11 and are using a Mac then option-command-S should get get the sidebar to show, control-S if you are using a PC.
If they don't play then have you tried closing and re-opening iTunes and/or re-downloading and installing it ? Have you tried adding any of your songs to your iTunes library (File > Add To Library) and do they play ? If they don't play either then you may be better off re-posting in the relevant forum, iTunes For Windows or iTunes For Mac. -

You should download and install iBooks first and then buy books from the iBooks Store. You worked backwards. Where did you but the book? Or where did you download it from?

Supress warning msg during RRI
We have a query that jumps to R/3 tcode. when we try to jump, for some document no's the jump goes smooth .. for some other doc's, it throws a warning msg saying that the infosource is not linked to the source system. this happnes with some of the docs only. But the jump does go thru to R/3.
I want to supress the warning msg during the jump. I tried in RSRT, but it doesnt help. the error code i get is RSBBS206. where do i have to exactly supress this warning?
Any pointers or clues would be appreciated.

In RSBBS, go to the sender query in change mode. There should be a tab in the middle column where you have to give your infosource name..
For. eg If you want to jump from Cost centre report (BW) to Masterdata transaction in R/3, you ust assign this particular infosource in RSBBS settings..

Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your iOS devices by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on them
If that doesn't fix it then contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page -

The only way is to login to iCloud with your computer browser and wipe the iPhone.

Some files in "DOCUMENTS" icon in dock won't open. Get msg saying "You need a newer version of Pages to open this document." Already have Pages 4.1 installed. Same files will open ok from Finder/Pages App./selected file. Prob not noted until recently after sync'd with ipad2 (Pages) when I installed iOS5. Anyone-- please?!
You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Disable warning msg IE/Firefox
I have a form, from which the user at one point clicks a link
to navigate away from the page, and then returns to continue the
form (all takes place in one window). If the user changes data on
the form before navigating away, IE/Firefox popup a warning that
says "Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page? You
made some changes to the form. If you proceed, all changes will be
lost."
I have a fix for the problem itself (potential loss of data),
but the warning message still pops up. Anyone know how to control
(i.e. disable) the warning message in IE/Firefox?

Restore. Note that it could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without be charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.
