A way to pay my cell phone bill?

Just wondering if its possible for me to pay about 50$ a week instead of paying the whole bill on one day?

You'll need to call Customer service to make special arrangements - it's not normally expected that you make weekly payments rather than one monthly payment. Why not put aside that $50 a week so you CAN Pay the whole amount at once?

  • Paying your cell phone online

As the title states, does anyone know how to pay the cell phone from AT&T services online. On their web page, I have been scavenging through stress and just mounts of missery only to find little to no hope of a solution. A small guide to the diamond in the ruff will most be appreciated.
    Thank you T-T

If you're an AT&T customer in the U.S., you can dial *729 on your iPhone and pay that way.

  • When on=line banking, or checking my cell phone bill, I can't download my statement or phone bill, the page will pop up, but will remain blank. No problem with I.E. What setting needs to be changed???

When I'm on a secure site, like my bank, or my cell phone account, I can't download my bank statement or cell phone bill. If I click on my bank statement, it will take me to a page with the list of my statement months. When I click on a month, another page will appear that says "about blank", but then nothing appears on the page. I'm guess it's a security setting, or a proxie setting, but I don't know which, or what to change it too. Help?? If I use I.E. (which I hate to use) everything works okay. Same problem if I try and download my cell phone bill from Verizon. Thanks

    Thanks for your help firstly.
No I don't have any firewall that I know of that could affect the Desktop app.  I have reviewed the link you sent across and the results are as follows:
    1. Make sure you can connect to the internet.
Yes, internet is all good... no problems here.
    2. Make sure that you can access secure sites:
Yes, I can access secure sites as tested by the example in the list (https://www.adobe.com).
    3. Check your hosts file.
Test successful after going to: https://lm.licenses.adobe.com
Moving on to reset the hosts file...
I've followed the instructions and I get to "Select the hosts file and open it".
If I simply double click, then the default is to open in TextEdit.
Once open, I go to find File > Save As, but it only says, "Save a Duplicate" and then once I save a duplicate, I don't know where to save it because the Save window only shows the basic folders and I don't know how to get back into the /etc folder from the Private files.
    More instructions please, if possible?
    Thanks again

There still won't be a charge, FaceTime calls can only take place over wifi so there won't be any mobile charge to either you or the recipient. The only charge is what your internet service provider charges you for your wifi/broadband connection

  • Upgrade phone charges on cell phone bill

Recently had loaner phone given bec we had the insurance from the store.  Looked at my cell phone bill and was charged upgrade fee of 38.97 twice because when we got the phone back it did not work so they sent it off again! We were never told about this fee and it was no where near an upgrade from our current phone that we had sent in for repair!!

Was this Sprint? I've seen this happen before. Please contact the Mobile Manager at your local store and they will work with their rep to get these charges reversed. Or, you may try contacting Sprint directly and let them know the details of the situation. This should be able to be resolved fairly quickly.

  • Is there a way to pay off a phone in its entirety for Verizon Edge?

T-Mobile has an online option to pay off the phone separately from the bill and allowed you to make an extra payment for the phone. Can I do this with Verizon's Edge program or am I stuck paying an extra $75 a month for the next 20 months?

Can I pay more than my scheduled monthly Verizon Edge installment?
No, unless you are either seeking to Edge Up to a new device, which requires that at the time of the Edge Up transaction you pay at least 60% of the device (50% for customers with an Edge Agreement entered prior to 6/1/14) following the initial 30 days of the Verizon Edge Agreement; or you are seeking to pay off 100% of your Verizon Edge Agreement, which you may do at any time.

  • Cell phone bill

I have gotten several text messages from verizon....I do not have text services on my plan, nor do I want them. Please be sure I am NOT charged for your texting. Thank you

This is peer-to-peer support, not Verizon billing - you can call and have all texts blocked from your phone (no charge to block all texting).
As budone said, texts from Verizon (billing reminders, account alerts, etc) are free as well.

  • Has anyone used an iPad Mini as a cell phone replacement?

Hi all.  As a way to reduce the number of devices in my life, as well as the size of my cell phone bill, I'm contemplating purchasing an iPad mini with a data plan as a replacement for my cell phone, using Skype and other apps to handle communication.  I don't really drive and talk, and I find I'm using the cell phone talking part less and less and seem to talk mostly when I'm in a wireless environment.  I also don't text a whole bunch.  This seems much cheaper than my cell phone with a basic data plan.  Has anyone tried this?

We would love to help you with a cost for your two phones and to tablets convoyuser826. How much data will you need for two phone lines and tablets. What data plan do you currently have on your account and how much data do  you and your wife average per month? You can perform a pricing plan analysis online via My-Verizon http://bit.ly/xB4iTc . I look forward to hearing from you.

  • The lock button on my iphone 5 is broken and I want to replace it at an apple store but I haven't paid my phone bill for AT&T so my phone has no service. Can i still replace my iPhone 5 whether or not i have to activate my phone with AT&T? Help please

Earlier i meantioned that my lock screen was broken. That was a mistake its my lock button i apologize. But do i still have to pay for my phone bill and activate my AT&T account in order to replace my iPhone 5 at an apple store?? Or not because of the one-year warranty??

The lock button on my iPhone5 has also started acting up. Extremely annoying. I have to get it replaced, but I've dropped my phone once and there is a scratch on the top left corner of the phone, so I'm not sure what the warranty says about this situation.

  • Cell Phone Javascript?

My shopping cart uses javascript to validate forms and other

I remember reading somewhere that cell phones do not support

  • Phone Bill Went Up $200 Since Last Week!!!

Verizon Is Outrageous. I Had The Phone Since June. The $60 a Month Plan For Two Phones That Shares 1gb. I Never Seen a $60 Phone Bill Individually. Last Week My Bill Was $200, I Checked It Today & It Has Gone Up To $406. How Did It Go Up $200 Within a Few Days ? It's Hard When Your Living Off One Check a Month & Have To Pay Other Bills Who Can Afford To Pay a $400 Phone Bill ? That's Half Of Rent. At Least Offer a Reasonable Payment Plan. Now My Phone Is Off. The Company Is a Total Rip Off If Anything They Owe Me Money. I've Seen More Complaints About Verizon & It's Honestly Crazy, All Of The Customers Will Be Lost. I Will Have To Find a New Service. What Else Can I Do ??

Understanding your bill is important, Mybrotherskeeper! We certianly don't want you to feel as though your being charged incorrectly. You can view the details of your plan and charges by signing into your My Verizon account. Once there, choose the View Bill option to review a breakdown of the charges for each line. You can also reach us by dialing *611 from your handset. We are more than happy to review your bill thoroughly with you.

  • Is there any way to contact verizon with a detailed cell phone technical support question?

Is there any way to contact Verizon with a detailed cell phone technical support question?  I prefer e-mail so as to provide details (like I am trying to provide here).  I have tried in-store personnel (no help at all) and the web chat - they just want to see me more data instead of helping me with my basic problem!
I CAN NOT GET ANYONE FROM VERIZON TO GIVE ME ANY HELP NOR CAN I FIND A WAY TO FILE A COMPLAINT.  AT THIS POINT I JUST WANT TO DROP MY VERIZON ACCOUNT BUT I'M SURE THAT IT WILL COST ME A SMALL FORTUNE TO GET OUT OF IT.
    Here is my issue:
Chat transcript removed as required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service
BELOW IS A SCREEN COPY FROM REDDIT ABOUT SOMEONE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM WITH A VERIZON CELL PHONE
So last night my RAZR MAXX HD did something totally bewildering by spontaneously downloading 2.6 GB of data over the course of ~ 3 hours. Fortunately I was able to catch this problem before it ended up being really expensive, but I still exceeded my 2 GB data plan by 600MB.
    The Culprits:
Reddit News Free: 160 MB foreground / 0.96 GB background
Android OS: 0 MB foreground / 1.18 GB background
Several unnamed applications: ~ 350 MB
    Screenshots:
    The massive data spike
    Android OS data usage
    Reddit News Free data usage
    Weird unnamed processes
    Detailed timeline:
5:12 PM: Incident begins according to VZW data usage website (2.60410 GB used). This is around the last time that I used my phone at the laundromat before getting dinner and watching Game of Thrones.
8:04 PM: 50% of data allowance used (txt msg)
8:31 PM: 75% of data allowance used (txt msg)
8:58 PM: 90% of data allowance used (txt msg)
9:13 PM: 100% of data allowance used (txt msg)
10:05 PM: Got the text messages and immediately put the phone into airplane mode
    10:30 PM: Took screenshots
10:45 PM: Enabled wifi, installed Kaspersky premium. Scan returned no threats.
11:00 PM: Left phone in airplane mode, went to sleep.
    The questions:
What was the root cause of this issue? Did Reddit News freak out as a result of an esoteric bug or was my phone hacked?
If this was a simple Reddit News bug, then why was the Android OS also trying to use such a massive amount of background data?
What the hell are these unnamed numeric applications? I've inspected my process history and this is the first time they have ever attempted to use data.
I'm pretty sure that I can explain this situation to Verizon and get out of having to pay additional data usage fees, but I would like to know more about the problem before I get in touch with them.

All I can think is your phone may have background downloaded an OTA update, and you'd then be prompted with something like, "As update to your Android system has been downloaded, would you like to install it now?"
I do find it very odd that the update would be 2.6GB. As a rough base, the CyanogenMod 10.1 firmware for your device is well under 200MB, so unless Verizon has a ****-ton of bloatware in the update, or it had to attempt to download multiple times for some reason, it may be a stretch.
But doing a little homework, it looks like the Verizon Razr Maxx was updated to 4.1 in late March. Maybe they're still rolling it out in waves? Have you gotten the update yet?
Edit: Aaaand I just noticed you appear to be running an AOSP-based ROM, which totally rules out a carrier update being sent out.
Edit2: If you want to live dangerously, you could try running:
    #kill -9 12289
That 12289 is the PID listed in your screenshot. But don't run that without fulling understanding the kill command.
The ps command could also be of use, but probably not.

I can confirm that the phone is currently at 4.1.2 and that I wasn't prompted for an OTA update. The fact that both the Android OS and Reddit News processes were simultaneously using an extremely large amount of data is unlikely to be a coincidence...

That is very curious that the spikes happened at the same time.I'm curious. It may have put at least some of that 2.6GB somewhere. You could use a data visualizer tool to see if you can find it, which may lead to more clues.

    The largest directories are:
DCIM: Normal looking photos (90,825 KB)
Android: Primarily map cache data (64,846 KB)
If it was downloading content then it did not significantly save content to storage. It's not like I have anything particularly sensitive on the phone, but the idea that it was uploading a snapshot of my data definitely makes me uncomfortable.

Yup, Digital Camera IMages and videos.Somewhere in /sdcard/Android would be my guess as to where a mysterious file would be downloaded, but if it's only 64MB, and mostly map data, I'd safely rule it out.I'm sorry, but I'm stumped here.Edit: I should mention I don't think this is malware, because unless a malicious app gained superuser access, any data it used would show under it's own apk in the data usage list, not Android OS.

Although I'm not really up to speed with the Android platform, I come from a UNIX background so I feel comfortable running commands. How do I pull up a bash terminal? Do I need to root the phone first?

There's a number of terminal emulators in the Play Store that work well. You don't need a rooted phone to get to the shell as your user, but any privileged command won't execute unless you can grant it permission from the Superuser app that is installed when you root the device. So you could probably do a ps -e, but not a kill -9.

Got it. I downloaded a terminal emulator but unfortunately those processes no longer exist.Does Android keep a generic log of system level events like /var/log/syslog?

I don't think so, and I know you'd need superuser permission to read most of the files in /var/log anyway. I'm not super familiar with how Android does its logging, but I do know that the two files of interest are the logcat and dmesg.

Want to mention here that using your settings to set your data cap (set it on your billing day), then you won't go over again. Those text messages are really unhelpful, as they send out well after the data has been used. Chances are good you hit close to the 2GB mark before you received the bulk of the messages.

That's definitely not the case here; both my PC and and Android phone are free from pirated apps.

You used the data.  Verizon can not see what it was sued for.  However your phone can see whats apps used the data.  go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle.  line the dates up with your cycle.  then there will be a bar graph below that   extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right.  after those are extended below that will be a list of apps,  there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse
