A Way to Tell if a New Doc is Created from an INX?

Dear all,
Is there a way to tell if the newly document created has just been recreated from an INX? I was guessing that IDocument::IsConverted would provide some kind of a clue, but apparently no.

Update: I've learned that the A2DP profile can actually use many different codecs, and apt-X is just one of them. Others include SBC, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and AAC.

So I guess the question is not A2DP vs. apt-X. Instead it should be, how do I know which codec is being used? And does my computer support apt-X?

Is there any way to tell Airport to select the strongest network from saved networks?

I have two routers in my house as both are fairly crap, and essentially I have one router for upstairs and one for downstairs (to be fair, my house is a few hundred years old and all the walls are massively thick granite so perhaps no router would negate this problem). This is a minor issue really, but is there any way to tell Airport, rather than simply having a list of networks to try in preferred order, to check which of the two networks has a stronger wifi signal when the mac is booted up or woken from sleep, and join that one?
Don't mind doing it manually tbh, just curious as to whether this could be automated.

Price refresh for new Shopping Cart created from a model

I'm looking for a solution for the following problem.
When i create a shopping cart from a model that has been previously created with a certain price, i'd like the system to update this price if it has been updated between model creation time and new shopping cart creation time from this model. (Whatever price it is catalog, material master price etc...)
If i check the new SC created from the model with function module BBP_PROCDOC_GETDETAIL and my SC number, i see that table E_PRIDOC is fullfilled like this

condition type 0100 is inactive (with the new correct price) and condition type 01PB (manual condition) is used with SC model price and makes that 0100 is inactive.
How to get 0100 condition type active instead of 01PB when creating Shopping cart from models ?
Any ideas are welcome.

Is there a way to selectively restore a new 16 gig 4s from a 32 gig 3Gs backup?

Not sure whom I'm addressing (is this a forum?), but I'm hoping to get some tips for my situation:
I have a 32 gig 3Gs and I want to move all of its data (minus a bunch of photos and music that won't fit) to my new (used) 4s.
I would really like as much of my texts, apps, settings, data, etc., as possible to remain.
What are my options?

I just went to backup my 3Gs and it won't let me do so because I don't remember the encryption password from a previous backup. Any ideas?

Warning: If you encrypt an iPhone backup in iTunes and then forget your password, you will not be able to restore from backup and your data will be unrecoverable. If you forget the password, you can continue to back up and use the device, however you will not be able to restore the encrypted backup to any device without the password. You do not need to enter the password for your backup each time you back up or sync.
If you cannot remember the password and want to start again, you must perform a full software restore and when iTunes prompts you to select the backup from which to restore, choose set up as a new device.

I know what you mean (image below). They go in the Lightroom folder, under pictures, in a randomly named folder. You can always drag them from this folder into your catalog, but I don't know of any way to reset the location or name of the folder. It is a different random name for each mobile device you connect (in the example shown, I have two iPhones and an iPad).

Got rid of computer. is there any way to transfer songs to new computer and ipod from an old ipod?

I have an ipod with a lot of music on it that i still enjoy listening to and got a new ipod. Unfortuently i dont have the computer that originally downloaded all the songs. Is there anyway i can transfer the songs from my nano to my new computer so I can get them on itunes and my touch?
I basically just want to transfer all the music from my old nano onto my new computer.... thanks!

How do I get a special ledger doc to create from a PCA distribution?

We are looking at using PCA distributions. Execution of these cycles must create a special ledger document. It's my understanding this is done by assigning the appropriate activity/bus transaction to the special ledger. The activity is PCAD. When I try to assign this activity to our special ledger via GCL2, PCAD is not included in the list of possibilities for assignment (non-assigned activities that can be assigned). We currently use cost center distributions and those transfer to special ledger via assignment of activity RKIV to our special ledger. Not sure what the trick is to PCA distributions. Any clues?

Hi Judy,
The activy PCAD is related to Component EC-PCA and is possible for Ledger 8A.
In Order to to bring the Distribution cycles related data meaning the EC PCA Records with Activity PCAD, you need to setup Roll up ledger with appropriate settings. Create a roll up ledger and execute after distribution cycles execution during MEC.
Hope this clarifies the point.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

The following may or may not apply to Lion:
Repairing permissions is important, and should always be carried out both before and after any software installation or update.
Go to Disk Utility (this is in your Utilities Folder in your Application folder) and click on the icon of your hard disk (not the one with all the numbers).
In First Aid, click on Repair Permissions.
This only takes a minute or two in Tiger, but much longer in Later versions of OS X.

If you were having any serious problems with your Mac you might as well complete the exercise by repairing your hard disk as well. You cannot do this from the same start-up disk. Reboot from your install disk (holding down the C key). Once it opens, select your language, and then go to Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Select your hard disk as before and click Repair.
Once that is complete reboot again from your usual start-up disk.

Is there any way to tell Lightroom not to make subfolders?

Okay I'll try to explain what I'm trying to do: On my external drive is a folder called Digital Photos and inside that is two subfolders; RAW Files and Final Versions. Then there is another folder on my drive called New Photos RAW Files. What I've been trying lately is when I'm done shooting some new photos I transfer the new ones to the New Photos RAW Files folder.
Then I start Lightroom and tell it to import the photos from the New Photos folder into the program. What I would like to be able to do is tell Lightroom to rename these new photos with my naming scheme I came up with and store then in the subfolder RAW Files which is in the Digital Photos folder.
But I noticed that Lightroom likes to always create new subfolders for you. So what happens is Lightroom renames the new photos and puts them in a subfolder named 05-15-2001 (or something similar to that) and that folder is placed inside another folder called 2011.
I don't really need these subfolders being created so I was wondering if there is a way to tell Lightroom to simply take the new photos and after you rename them simply place them in the RAW Files folder which is inside the Digital Photos folder.
I hope I've made myself clear and I admit I'm just a newbie at this and it's hard to get the hang of this powerful software.

It appears I have figured it out. You gotta go down to where it says Destination and tell Lightroom to Organize into One Folder.

I downloaded Itunes to my macbook and I am looking for a way to tell how much space my itunes takes up. In the old itunes it told you on the bottom of the player what amount of space your music libray took up. Is there a way to do this with the new itunes?

IDCS2: Creating new doc from subset of another

A plugin I'm working on needs to be able to create a new document consisting of pages pulled from another. Essentially, the user enters a range of pages on a source document and a new document is created containing these pages. This seems like it should be a straightforward matter of:
* creating a new document (with 0 pages)
* grabbing the page range string from the user
* getting the list of pages from IPageList::PageRangeStringToUIDList
and finally,
* using kCreatePagefromPageCmdBoss to copy these pages to the new document
However, I've run into a couple issues I'm having trouble solving; creating a document with 0 pages and appending the created pages to it leaves the first spread blank while the second spread (and beyond) get the new pages. Also, the location of the page items of the copied pages is way off; they're generally centered between two spreads instead of where they should be.
I feel like I'm missing something simple, but the docs I've read and things I've tried haven't proven fruitful and now I'm at an impasse.
Anyone know what I need to do to get this working?

You can't create documents with 0 pages.
With your approach you will also need to check master page associations including page item overrides, broken chains of text frames, various resources (layer, swatch, styles etc.) that were modified or delete in comparison to the blank document.
Can't you just "save a copy as", then open the duplicate and delete the unwanted pages?
You could even temporarily delete the pages from the original, save a copy and undo your deletions or even revert the original document.

Best Way To Transfer Data To New Mac

I know this question has been asked ad naseum, but I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for today...
My new iMac arrives today (w00t!) and I want to transfer all my data over to the new computer. But I'm coming from a Mac that is four years old (though still running Lion) and there's probably a lot of crap on the old machine like corrupt preferences and whatnot, and I don't really want all that baggage coming over with me. I obviously want to transfer over my documents, iTunes and iPhoto Libraries and all the iWeb stuff and whatnot. I'm not afraid to reinstall my apps, if that's the ideal scenario and I don't care if my settings and dock reverts to deault, if that's the best way to do this. So I'm trying to determine the best (and possibly fastest) way to load up the new Virgin machine. I have the ability to connect the two computers via Firewire and I also have an up-to-date Firewire Time Machine Backup of everything as well. Any and all advice is appreciated. And don't be afraid to tell me I'm crazy and that I shouldn't worry about corrupt stuff and I should just Set Up Assistant or Migration Assistant (though I hear Set Up is better?) Thanks!

If all you want to migrate is the data files then use Pondini's Setup Assistant guide as instructed. It will ask what you want migrated however if you only choose data it will migrate ALL of your data files. If you have some files you don't want to migrate then it may be best to start the old machine in Target mode after setting up the new machine then you can pick and choose what data files you want to copy over to the new machine.
