A way to temporarily hide the selection box around an object while nudging it.

I would like to see a simple "Hide All" type command, similar to the "Hide Extras" feature in Photoshop - this would leave the page in a blank/ "preview" like view, but with selected objects still selected and therefore able to be moved around without seeing the Blue Selection Box.
PROBLEM:
I am looking for a way to temporarily hide the selection box around an object while nudging it.
I want to visually nudge items around to find the ideal placement and I find the selection box distracting how it follows the object around as it is being nudged.
(For anyone familiar with Photoshop, —I am looking for something that works exactly like "Hide" cmd+H (VIEW > Extras) does in PS - where the selection goes away but the object is still adjustable.

SHIFT+W goes into full on presentation mode already.
Also, —this still doesn't solve the problem of being able to move an element around without a selection box getting in the way.
I don't believe that a solution exists, I'm just checking with the community if one does.

I think you are making this much too difficult. If you have foreground, middle ground, and background layers make them all 3-D and arrange them in 3-D space then add a camera and move the camera. Your parallax shift will be automatic and perfect if you arrange the layers properly.
As you move the layers in z space you can scale them up so your composition looks right. You can't even use a simple expression to tie the distance of the layer to the camera to automatically fix the scale.
If you want to just move a layer on the x axis half as far as the foreground layer moves in x then the expression would look like this:
mlx = thisComp.layer("master").position[0];
sf = .5 // scale factor;
nx = mlx * sf;
[value[0] + nx, value[1]]
In English this expression says mlx equals the master layer x value
The scale factor (sf) is 50% experssed as a decimal
The new x value (nx) is equal to the master layer x position times the scale factor
Then you just write an array for the original x value plus the new x value and take the existing y value from this layer.
This expression gives you the opportunity to keyframe both the X and Y position of the layer. If I wasn't typing this post on my phone I would've taken the time to subtract the master layer X and Y position from Half of the comp height and width so the following layer would not have to be brought back into position after writing the expression.

Hi Mukesh,
We can click the Advanced Filter Mode icon on the first to the right of the field name in the Filters area to switch between basic and advanced filters modes. At this time, we can select date and time in the selection box. But there is no such feature for
us to hide the time selection box in current release of Power View.
As per my understanding, we can select a time that has no impact on the data in the time selection box to work around this issue.

Dynamic populating the items in the select boxes

Hi,
I need three select boxes on a webpage in such a way that the options in select box 2 should be populated only after selecting some item in "select box 1" and the options in the "select box 3" should be displayed by selecting the options in "the select box2". The data is being retrived from the database. I know that this functionality can be acheived through the "javascript". I am fine until getting the data from the database but not sure how to get it work using javascript.
I would appreciate if someone can post any snippet of code or give any suggesstions or pointer on how to proceed....

Firefox>tools>web developer>scratch pad(deleted the instructions so as to have a blank box)>inserted your code, vis. javascript:void(document.body.style.setProperty('overflow-x','hidden',));
The result was: syntax error
I then performed the same steps as above but inserted your code: javascript:void(document.body.style.setProperty('overflow-y','hidden','important'));void(document.body.style.setProperty('overflow-x','hidden','important'));
The result was that after clicking on 'run' nothing at all happened. The cursor just kept blinking.
I'll bet that there is just some small syntactic error.

Links of the bottom of the "Advanced Search" page are on top of the select boxes

In that position the bar of links
"Google Main Page Ad programs Business Solutions Privacy and... Everything About Google"
covers the select box at that position (either "domain or website" or "language" or "region" etc.).
If I push the lower margin of the window upwards making the window smaller, the bar of links moves upwards uncovering the select box hidden under it and covering another select box further up. I can go all the way up till it covers the text boxes "all these words" or "exact sentence".
I have uninstalled Firefox and installed a new Firefox. I eliminated all cookies and caché. I disabled all plugins. I restarted and I also opened in safe mode, but it keeps happening.

Looks that this is caused by setting the height of the div.bottom-wrapper to 100% and that causes the div.bottom-links-wrapper to appear at the wrong position (i.e in the middle of the page).
If I disable the height: 100% !important rule (why even an important flag?) with the Style editor (Inspect Element) then the page appears correctly.

To hide select options you should use interface method REMOVE_SELECTION_SCREEN_ITEM of IF_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS.
Sample code :
Write the below code in the Event handler of Radio Button.
DATA lv_r_helper_class TYPE REF TO if_wd_select_options.
lv_r_helper_class = lo_interfacecontroller->init_selection_screen(
lv_r_helper_Class->REMOVE_SELECTION_SCREEN_ITEM(exporting i_id = 'Select_option1_id1').
This will hide first select option of your screen.Similarly pass select_option_id2 to hide it and so on.

Under Tools ... Options ... Workspace, there is an option "Display Object Name Tool Tips While Pointing".
Try clearing that.

i'm using adobe acrobat standard.
i'm editing a document and adding links into the PDF to my website.
i prefer only to show the "hand/pointer" when you mouse over the link.

I assume that your post in [[/questions/906990#answer-291125]] ended up in the wrong thread and should have appeared here.
The only thing that changes if you run the code in the Scratchpad is the disappearance and reappearance of the scroll bar in the current tab. You do not see anything in the Scratchpad. So you need to switch back to the browser window.
You can test it with this code, that should make both scroll bars appear:

Unfortunately, Apple can do no such thing. The most you can do is turn it over to the local authorities or the customer service desk if you found in a store or similar.

I am not sure what is danavalidator. But if you are using Struts, then you can use the required validation same like you use for text fields. It will validate for the option whose value is blank. select box required validation is present in the validation-rules.xml.
