A while back I downloaded a file that had a virus and/or adware attached to it. I uninstalled the program but now I'm getting a webpage that says I need to sign in to access mozzilla. I never setup a password with them and now the page shows up when I try to go to a website. It's altran

App Store and ITunes have been disabled and it won't allow me to enable it again? How can I get it back ?

Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

A blank gray box won't go away...why not? How can I get rid of it?

Every time I open Firefox, a gray box (about 1in x 1in) appears in the near upper left hand corner of my screen. When Firefox is open (and not hidden) the gray square covers any window that it is located over - this will included any non-Firefox applications. Only when Firefox is exited or hid will the gray square disappear. Please help!! I'd like this square to be gone.

This could be a feature of a Firefox add-on. A standard diagnostic to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings) is to try Firefox's Safe Mode.
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [[Backing up your information]]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, restart Firefox in Firefox's Safe Mode ([[Safe Mode]]) using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode."
If the site works correctly, this points to one of your extensions or custom settings as the problem.

Those menu bar commands are disabled when you do not have a device (your shuffle) selected in iTunes.
If the iTunes sidebar (along left side of iTunes) is hidden, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar. In the sidebar, your shuffle should be listed under DEVICES. Click on it there to select it. Now, those commands under the File menu should be accessible.
However, once you have the shuffle selected, many of those "device-related" commands in the menu bar are also on the iTunes window. For example, there is a Sync button at the low-right corner of the window, which does the same thing as the command in the menu bar.

AFter the latest download, my e-mail service keeps getting a bar at the top "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page". I have to keep hitting the "Allow" link? How do I get rid of this?

Ever since the last update, I'm having problem accessing my e-mail account. I keep getting an annoying bar at the top of the screen "Firebox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page." I have to keep hitting the allow button, sometimes twice. And when I do get into the accounts the bar jumps in and out every time I open a new e-mail, or delete and old one.
How do I get rid of this. I've had this account for years, with a very reputable private e-mail provider. This is nuts.

THe phone is NOT jail broken.. all i want to do is have it return back to how it was before i started the updae version process obviously it did not take and now it is locked into plave the screen will not change.. after reboots and shut down when i turn it back on the same screeen appears the cd disc with the music note over it and the arrow pointing upwards and a picture of the small end of the charge cord that fits into the actual compute.. How do I get rid of "do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer"?

I recently installed Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and every time I open a PDF file that is stored on my computer, I get a pop-up that asks "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?". How do I get rid of this? I don't want to change my security settings, I just want to open pdf's without having to go through this step.
I'm using Windows 7.

Thanks for that good idea. I checked the "properties" by right clicking on the AA8 icon and under "compatability" I noticed it had Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Since I'm running Windows 7, I changed it to that and now I don't get that annoying pop-up!
