A website no longer looks the way it's suposed to with Firefox 4.

IHeartNYMuseums.com no longer loads properly with Firefox 4. It worked everyday up until yesterday when I switched over to Firefox 4. (I also tested it with IE and it doesn't seem to load there either, so it may or may not be a Mozilla Firefox issue.) Any tips?

A message was added to the site on 8 April which states: "''This site is in the middle of a major revamp and isn't being updated...hopefully it'll be done in the next couple of weeks''..."
So it looks like they're doing some house cleaning.

Here's my issue. Off late (for more than a month or so) I have noticed that a lot of websites that I have visited in the past stop loading after a certain period of interaction with them. For instance if I go to theverge.com and then hit a link of one of the articles. Finish reading that and hit back to go to the home page or even hit the logo to do the same, it will come up with 'Website not found' message. Then sometimes pages render like the screenshot below:
Can someone direct me as to what is causing such a behavior... Is there something I can do.
I have already done the following:
Reset Safari to original state by removing all website data except passwords and pinned pages;
Have restarted my Mac after doing so;it works fine on other browsers like Chrome and Firefox;
Mac is fully updated
Is there something else I can do to avoid such behavior on my Mac... It is not a case of lack of memory either, I have close to 170GB remaining on my 500GB hard drive. It is a MacBook Pro late 2010 model.

I am having the same issue with Safari not loading the pages properly- started today after the update to 10.9.4 and Safari 7.0.5 (9537.77.4). Pages either won't load and I just get a white background or I get partially loaded pages with Safari but they work fine with Firefox and Chrome. Safari doesn't even function properly on the Apple website- the home page doesn't load completely and in the forums, when clicking on Reply, nothing happens.
When I go to the Develop Menu and click on Show Error Console, some of the pages- Google.com for example- shows an error that the secure page https://www.google.com tried to load insecure content from http://www.googleapis.com... Similar message appears when I go to my bank website and other websites, some are showing (Apple for example) CSS and variable undefined errors.

I have just installed Firefox 6, and Rapport no longer works - the same problem that you had with Firefox 5. What is happening?

You prompted me to install Firefox 6 this evening, as it addresses serious security/stability problems, but when I did this, the Rapport icon vanished from the address bar. Reinstalling the current version of Rapport has not fixed this.
The same thing happened a few months ago with Firefox 5, and it took Rapport a week to develop a new compatible version.
Why has this happened again? Do you not check this before launching new versions? Or, why at the very least do you not warn us beforehand that some programs will not work for X days? I'd prefer to be without the latest Firefox for a week or so rather than without Rapport - not least because my bank requires me to use Rapport.
Please advise ASAP.

Not sure if this will help, but what is your inDesign file's "Transparency Blend Space" set to? It's under the edit menu.
Also, when you are placing your images, are you selecting "Show Import Options" and making any selections there?

What makes the audio spectrum look the way it does?

The audio spectrum generated preset in CS6 looks different from most audio spectrums. What exactly is it doing to the actual spectrum to make it look the way it does? And is it possible to get something similar to that to render in realtime for use as a visualizer with a media player, say Winamp or iTunes.

Impossible. There are only very limited command-line options for the Acrobat Family and you cannot change them.

I want to restore my home page the way it was before I downloaded Firefox 4 which destroyed my home page features (news, currency converter, horoscope, weather etc.) so I deleted Firefox 4 and re-installed Firefox 3.6.17.

The look of my home page was perfect with Firefox 3.6.17. I had a strip of whales breaching around the Google logo. Underneath I had all kinds of wonderful things (I forget what they're called) on the page which was divided into sections: weather, CNN, Reuters, currency converter, Rick Levine's daily horoscope, health tip of the day etc. I promptly removed FF4 because my home page was totally ruined and I can't figure out how to restore all these wonderful easy features. Could you kindly help me or has FF totally changed the entire home page layout and I shall never be able to restore them. I have saved a copy of my Profile on my USB stick. The "TAB" key will not move the cursor from field to field with Firefox 17 in MAC OS 10.8. You have to use the mouse to click on the new field to move the cursor.

You may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

My iPad no longer switches screen when i go from holding it horizontal to vertical. How can I change it back in settings to have the screen look the way I am holding the iPad

My screen no longer moves with the way I'm holding the iPad. For example if I'm holding it horizontal the screen is vertical. Up unitl now the screen has always moved with the way I was holding the ipad. Is there something in Settings I can do to get this back?

If you see a lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen - then the screen orientation is locked.
Try the side switch above the volume rocker first and see if that unlocks the screen. If that doesn't do it, double tap the home button and swipe to the right and look for the lock icon all the way to the left. (IOS 6). For iOS 7, swipe up from the bottom to get to the control center and look for the lock icon in the top row on the right.
If the screen is unlocked but still will not rotate, reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the button

Firefox 5 no longer has a way to save tabs when a Firefox window is closed (different than quitting the Firefox Application)

CLARIFICATION: This appears to be a Mac only issue.
In Firefox 4, closing a firefox window (perhaps only the last firefox window - I only ever use one window) would ask you if you wanted to save your tabs as long as you edited your about:config so that browser.showQuitWarning was set to true, but after upgrading to Firefox 5, this no longer works.
I've managed to set up Firefox 5 so that if i quit the application my tabs are saved without asking and they are restored upon re-launching the Application, but at least in OSX Snow Leopard, closing the only open window while leaving the Application running causes Firefox to forget your tabs and I've been unable to find a way to restore or proactively save these tabs.
I've started to change my workflow to always quit Firefox 5, but every now and then I forget and close the window instead, and *poof*, there go my tabs.
Is there any workaround to this problem?

I find after a few weeks I simply forgot to be annoyed at the new Compose window. Do bear in mind that a couple of reasons for updates are security fixes and enhancements, so using older versions does come with some risks.
