A week after the update
Just an update after having the update for a week. All has been great, until last night. Data drops are now occurring again where I have to switch Airplane mode on and off to get it back.
There have not been any new apps added.
I had a couple of data drops today and one yesterday. I also seem to recall that I would have more issues with data drops on the days around and day of whenever Verizon officially turned on new 4G LTE areas. Today WAS no exception.

Problem after a week after the update to 1.0.2

i have a 160 gb classic. my sis presented to me.now it has the same problem as u people. its just freezing. not able to do sync also. after reading ur solns in the forum, i just put into dick mode and restored it. then i tried to sync some songs only 100 mb of songs. then disconnected it just started again restarting. please guys, please suggest me some remedy for this.......

HT203171 my track pad is not working after the update of iTunes 11.1 version.

I have been experiencing the same issue. My MacBook Pro is a little more n 3 years old.
AFter the updates, my computer seemed to run very erratic when running a few programs at once and the trackpad suddenly went on the fritz. For a week now, it jumps around erratically and selects things on its own.
I reset the PRAM, tried it in safe mode, reconfigured the mouse settings and nothing seems to work.

Issues after the update from 2.5.7 to 2.5.16
A number of issues have cropped up due to / during / after the update of the forums from 2.5.7 to 2.5.16 at the beginning of this week. This is a list of those issues as I have compiled them. It is a work in progress and I will update it when more information becomes available.
1 Username and email problems for some users. (fixed 2009-12-03)
Some users have a suffix appended to their username and their email address replaced with a random string (as a consequence email notifications don't work anymore). This problem is being worked on. Time to fix is unknown. Users experiencing this problem are requested to report so in this thread: My user handle and e-mail have been changed without my knowledge Please include your old username, which Adobe ID's you have and whether you used the same email address for those Adobe IDs.
2 Some user preferences are lost when logging in. (fixed 2009-12-03)
When you log in to the forums (either manually or automatially based on a "Remember me" cookie), some of your preferences are overwritten by their default values. The most noiceable prference is the settng to display your screen name (real name) that will get reset to displaying a username. This problem is being worked on. Time to fix is unknown.
3 The Rich Text Editor (RTE) is inserting linebreaks.
When typing a post the RTE will randomly insert linebreaks.
Workaround: remove the linebreaks manually.
4 Raw (FreeMarker?) code is inserted in some posts (through the RTE?).
In some posts code appears that was not entered by the user. The code looks something like below (but there may be much more then just this one line):
function(){return A.apply(null,[this].concat($A(arguments)))}
Workaround: edit the post and remove the code.
5 The logout button disappeared.
The logout button is no longer visible.
Workaround: How can I log out from the forums?
6 Search is down on one node. (fixed 2009-12-03)
Search is down on the SGAURWA41P cluster node. This does not show itself as an error, but instead as 0 search results.
Workaround: restart all browser windows and you may end up on another cluster node or use Google with a "site:forums.adobe.com" search modifier.
7 Users have 404 problems on first request.
This is not really a new problem, but it is something that was supposed to be fixed with the update. The problem is caused by the forums inserting a jsessionid parameter in the wrong place in the URL.
Workaround: reload the page where the incorrect link is located.
8 Image upload through camera button doesn't always work. (fixed 2009-11-30)
Some people have reported problems with uploading JPG and PNG images using the camera icon.
Workaround: attach the images instead.
Update 2009-11-28:
A probable cause for the error [The content type of this image is not allowed.] when uploading images through the camera button has been identified. Internet Explorer uploads images using a Content-Type header that differs from the IANA registered type for jpg and png images. As such, the recommended workaround for people wanting to upload images using the camera icon is to use a browser that is not Internet Explorer.Re issue 4, "Raw (FreeMarker?) code is inserted in some posts (through the RTE?)", the suggested workaround is:
Workaround: edit the post and remove the code.

I tried to update my phone but it would repeatedly tell me that an error had occured and I needed to try again (everyday for a week). Finally someone told me to restore my phone and the update would be automatic. I had music on my phone that wouldn't sync with my computer (no clue why on that one, it was set to sync everytime I plugged it in). So I hit restore and the computer said it was backing everything up. After the update and the restore my computer said there were "corrupt" files on my backup and it wouldn't use it on my phone. So I lost a TON of music that I had bought and paid for and listened to on the regular. Is there ANYTHING I can do to get them back. You would think iTunes would know what you've downloaded and allow you to redownload if something silly like this happens. I just want my music back!

Why can I not disable the guest user in the 10.8.2 update? I have never enabled the guest user, but after the update, it was automatically enabled with a "managed" tag. It is not selectable even after entering my admin password to unlock the options. I was able to select the account under "parental controls", but again, could not delete it. Why Apple? Why?!!????
SOLVED Ok. I actually was able to disable it. I had to actually log in as the guest user to make it accessible in the preference window. Then I disabled it and logged out. Apologies if this was obvious for some people, but I have had some sort of issue with something every update since Snow Leopard.

This is to report the problem i encountered when i updated my Ipad mini to the new IOS 8.1..
After the update my Ipad restart and after that it appears a picture that need to connect to itunes and need to restore. So i connect it to itunes and wait to restore my ipad mini because it is not opening.
After restoring it my ipad is now opening and it is like new that i need to set up again.
I set up again until i reach the apple id and password.
I put my below apple ID and password to unlock my ipad but it didn't work. The message i receive is "the apple ID cannot be used to unlock this Ipad.
What will I do? Please help.

So I updated my iPhone 5s to version 7.0.6 yesterday, and now my iPhone music isn't working properly. It won't sync the playlists that I added after the update though when it's plugged in on iTunes it says that the music is synced. When I select a song in a playlist on the phone it shuffles through the playlists for like 3 seconds and picks a totally different song to play. I tried reinstalling iTunes, I tried restoring the iPhone, is it just a bug with the update? Nothing works. Any solutions are welcome.
DFU mode? How do I do that? So far the only thing I can do is hold down both buttons to power it on and nothing is on the screen and it wont reconize on my computer....

After the update of my 13 in mac book pro (early to mid 2011) , it freezes every 30 seconds with the spinning wheel and now it just freezes. Ive never had this problem until I recently updated. Also, I just checked now for available update ( which there was one), the update would process till the last step and it shows it cannot be expanded? Now my computer wont even restart (just have a grey screen with a cursor). Can someone please tell me what the heck is going on with my computer?
I also checked the memory and it showed available memory was over 1.5 GB. I dont have any programms installed and do not have backup yet ( dont really need it anyways)
Problems: first with spinning wheel every 30 seconds and now whole computer just freezes when I restart, it only shows grey screen after the starting sound or it takes about 8 to 10 minutes to restart.
This ALL happened right after the update with google chrome crashing. I know my apple care plan expired so I cant even go to genius bar. Do you guys know how much it would cost to get it fixed ? Or any recommendations I can do to fix this?Try a smc reset:

My phone was recently updated to 8.1. After the update, when text messages are sent when my phone is turned off, they no longer appear when I turn the phone on. Is there something in Settings that needs to be changed?
