A whole heap of albums got deleted
I own an 80G classic, and I loaded our whole CD collection on it onto it ages ago. Just today, I looked up an artist, and noticed that 4 of the 6 albumns I own of hers are no longer on my ipod. I compared my itunes library to my ipod, and about 500 songs (about 60 full albumns) have been wiped from my ipod. The details are still in my itunes library, and they are still ticked (but the songs themselves have been deleted from my laptop) but the ipod no longer has them. Has anyone had this happen? Anyone know why it would happen?
Is there a way to get them back without having to reload those CDs onto my laptop?

We do have it set to auto sync, but I have been manually deleting the physical music file off my laptop without deleting it from my iTunes library (the song is still listed with a tick next to it), for the past year, all the songs have stayed on the iPod. All the other songs that are still on my iPod (about 150 albums) are in my iTunes library, but the physical file has been manually removed.
I can not work out why suddenly about 60 albums have suddenly disappeared from the iPod. There doesn't appear to be any pattern to it, except that in all cases it is whole albums.

The original image files are missing form your iPhoto library or iPhoto cannot find them, because the link to the originals has been broken. The image info is stored in the internal libraries, independent of the original files. That is, why you are still seeing them.
I restored the whole library from my backup.
Try restoring from an older backup, from before you first noticed the problem.
How large is the library, that you restored? Is the file size large enough to hold all your photos, or has the size been reduced? If the library is still large, the photos may still be inside, even if iPhoto cannot find them.

What happened, before your iPhoto library got deleted? Which applications have you been running, or which new software have installed or upgraded? Have you moved the library to a different disk or tried to use it from different user account or access it over the network? -
I bought an album and it got deleted from store. How can i get it back?
I bought an album (Inhuman Rampage from Dragonforce) on iTunes long time ago and sometime it got deleted from the german Store and from there on i couldn't download it anymore, as it wasn't in the store anymore.
Anyhow the album is still available on nearly all the other stores i watched up and i don't even know, why it has been deleted from the german one.
But this doesn't help me.
Can i get back my album or even my money and if yes how?In most cases, if you go directly to the software authors website you can download demo versions of the software for free.
Generally, I prefer to buy the software on disc. Later, if I update the software, or no longer need it, I can remove it from my computer and sell it.
A good example is iLife 06, which now sells for around $100, about double what it cost new. -

What happened to the Camera Roll album on my iOS device?
When you turn on iCloud Photo Library, The Camera Roll album is replaced with an All Photos album. The All Photos album gives you the same compact scroll view, now with all your photos and videos organized by the date you add them.

my drives got deleted from my home pc saw i had to re place all the drives & i bought loads of tunes & albums from itunes & now nor longer have them. could someboby plz recommend a way for me to be able to retrieve them as they cost me a lot of money & dont really see why i shouldn't be able to download these again.
Do you not have a backup of the computer that you can retrieve the files from?

PLEASE HELP!!! Somehow my entire iTunes library got deleted, and I cannot sync all my music that I put on from cd's (which I no longer have). All the purchased music has been synced, but nothing else! All my other devices are synced with iCloud and lost the material as well ... My sap MMC tree, got deleted in the server. I have been trying to restore since 2 days and couldnt succeed, please help me.
1) i have uncared the sapmmc.sar from Kernal\NT\I386\MMC\sapmmc.sar file
2) i got about 7 files, in which there is one sapmmc file i have tried to double click it, n check but no go.
3) i also tried to run the Sapstartsrv.exe file and fill in up the values in pop up window. & filled up the following values :-
SID: DEV
NR: 00
StartProfile: (entire start profile path given)
user: devadm
passwd; (given)
- but it says "the account name is invalid or does not exist or the password is invalid for account name specified"/
- no go in both the cases.
Please need help very urgent.

my macbook's safari wont open. At first it got deleted and so i got it back by bluetooth and now it wont open because of the version of mac OS X update. My iTunes got deleted off a (no longer working) computer. I have lost all music & data that was on this original itunes. Is there a way I can transfer all content from my iPhone (music & photos) onto iTunes on a new computer? I want to update my iphone (3GS), but do not want to lose any music off it when syncing it. Help please!!
By design, the iphone will sync itunes content with one computer at a time. Any attempt to sync such content with a second computer will result in ALL itunes content being first erased from your phone & then replaced with the content from the second computer. This is a design feature and cannot be overridden. Because you are using a new computer, your phone will see this computer as a "new" computer. The itunes content sync is one way: computer to phone. If you have photos that were synced to your phone or music ripped on your own that were not backed up, you will first have to extract them from your phone using third party software, before you do anything else, as Apple makes no provision to do so:

Once you've done that, do the following in the order specified:
1. Disable auto sync when an iPod/iPhone is connected under iTunes>Preferences(under the edit menu if using Windows)>Devices in itunes.
2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in the supported applications(Address Book & iCal or Outlook, Windows Address Book) on your computer. These entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
3. Connect your phone, iTunes running, DO NOT SYNC at this point.
4. Store>Authorize this computer.
5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on your phone will be in your itunes library).
6. Right click in the device pane & select reset warnings.
7. Right click again and select backup.
8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore your itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding your contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
You should be good to go. -

how do i select a whole heap of bands and change there genre in one shot like old itunes, before i was able to hold ctrl and select all the bands, now i have to do it individually or go to songs and select them individually.

Table entries got deleted ,how can we find who has deleted these entries

We are using ECC6 /Oracle,few days back 2000 entries got deleted from one table.
How can we get the log for deleted entries with all the details like User ID ,Date and time of Deletion.
I have already checked STAD and DBACOCKPIT for SQL queries of deletion of records but could not find any log .
Kindly help me to resolve this issue.Yes, under controlled situation, you can find some information(at least date and time with what was deleted) even if deleted from SQL level.

My iPhoto somehow got deleted from my Macbook Pro. Now when i try to re-download it from app store, i get the message, "we could not complete your purchase, iPhoto cant be installed on Mac OSX install ESD, because Mac OS X version 10.9 or later is required." The iphoto was actually installed on this macbook and now i cant re-install it. This version of macbooks dont come with any CD. Please help somebody?

why cant i download itunes on my windows 7 pc? i used to have itunes on my pc once but it was not uploded for a while and got deleted...and now i have tried to download it and all i got was "thanks for download itunes"...after that i have tired to dwnload it from another web browser and ive got the same thing.....!!
Perhaps try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to a different PC. (If you're on a 32-bit Windows system, try to download on a different 32-bit Windows system.) Copy the iTunesSetup.exe installer to an external hard-drive, or a large-enough thumb drive or burn it to a CD-R. Carry the installer back to your PC, copy the installer to your hard drive. (Don't run the install from the ExHD, thumb or CD-R.) Start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe file.

My ipod 4g keept crashing so then i read on this website to go to settings and rest everything. And when i did everything on my ipod got deleted.I tried restarting it but i didnt restore my ipod before so everthing got erased. How can i get it all back???
