Is it in one window for one program, or all the way across or all the way up and down the screen?

  • YELLOW BANNER in Adobe Reader 9.3

When trying to use A. Reader with a PDF created in Premiere Pro CS4 the Yellow Security Banner cannot be accessed until after the Instruction Dialogue Box is OKed. Not being able to access the Yellow Banner first prevents any play buttons from appearing when the Instruction Dialogue Box is OKed. The embedded video cannot be played.
In A. Reader 9.2 there is no Yellow Banner and the Dialogue Boxes work as expected and the embedded video can be played.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug when reviewing "Clip Notes" from PrPro CS4?

Please post in the Premiere Pro forum. I've never heard of Premiere (which is for videos) making pdfs, but then I don't use Premiere that much.

  • How do I get rid of the annoying yellow banner saying "some plugins are out of date on this page."

Since 5/22/12 I have an annoying yellow banner in Firefox (and other web pages) stating that "some plugins are out of date on this page.") How do I get rid of this? I've checked my plugins and I'm fine for my Mac OS (10.4.1).

Sounds similar to this thread from yesterday: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/927963 How do I stop getting the prompt to update plugins? | Firefox Support Forum | Firefox Help]. Do any of the suggestions there help?

  • I have MAC G5 Tower OSX 10.4.11. Receiving constant yellow dropdown banner message telling me to upgrade. Not Possible?

I have a G5 Tower OSX 10.4.11 and am constantly receiving the yellow banner asking me to upgrade Firefox. Of course, Firefox Mozilla knows that I cannot upgrade on this operating system. If there is a way, please inform. Otherwise, what are my options, other than get a new computer. Or, obviously, change back to Safari which failed at playing videos. And now, I cannot even play videos with Firefox linked on FaceBook to youTube.

You can set the app.update.url to an empty string on the <b>about:config</b> page to prevent Firefox from searching for updates.

  • I installed Firefox 4 on my new computer and am getting a banner on some web pages stating "Additional plug ins are required to display all the media on this page - I haven't had this problem until today; I have been using Firefox on my Macs for years.

I just bought a new MacBookPro to replace my 3 year old MBP. I was not receiving the banner when I was on my old Mac running Firefox 3.6.16.
The yellow banner seems to appear randomly. I got it when I went to https://artistsnetwork.tv/e-myvideos.aspx and https://bit.ly.com but not when I went to Hootsuite, Twitter or textbroker.com.
There is an "Install missing plugins" button on the right side, but I'm afraid to click on it since I don't understand what might happen to my new computer.

  • Local host banner when viewing on iPad and iPhone

Hi, the embedded FC form on my website runs great when viewing on the desktop but the actually website disappears when viewing on an apple device. When this happens the form still works but the yellow banner appears.
The Adobe Muse website is not yet live as I'm still testing via a temporary business catalyst URL... I really just want an assurance by the FC team that when we do publish via BC the forms will work on iPads and iPhones. I'm starting to get nervous that they won't work when published.
The forms are embedded using the proper embed code.
    Thanks

    Hi,
The local banner is supposed to show when you are viewing the web page on a local server or host.  It seems that you have a slightly different problem here as you do not see this local banner when viewed on the desktop but you do when viewed on iOS devices.
Please take a look at these posts and see if you have run into the issues mentioned there: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5813658
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1352067
If you do find that your web page is using jquery.scrolleffects.js
You have two choices to fix this:
    1) Remove jquery.scrolleffects.js from the web page.
    or
    2) Move the embed code out of the cloned element.  For example, remove the existing form embed code, and place the following at the end of the body element:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="https://formscentral.acrobat.com/Clients/Current/FormsCentral/htmlClient/scripts/adobe.for m.embed.js" style=""></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" style="">
    $(document).ready(function()
    ADOBEFORMS.EmbedForm({formId:"yourFormsFormIDGoesHere", place:$('# u12813')[0], placeHow:'child'});
    </script>
If you still have problem, please let us know the temporary URL that you are using or the source of your web page with the embed form.
    Thanks,
    Lucia

  • I updated to Firefox 4, and there is a "notification" that says: FIREFOX IS NOT ABLE TO SHOW THE TOOLBAR. PLEASE RE-INSTALL THE TOOLBAR. Where do I go to "re-install" the toolbar, Can anybody please help me? Thx. Driekie de Beer.

How does FIREFOX-TOOLBAR looks like, and where on my page will I see it? I have a lot of toolbars on my page, like, the ZYNGA-toolbar,facemoods, ect..... Before I downloaded the "new version of firefox 4, I had the version 3.16, and had NO trouble at all!

I would imagine it's the MyWay Searchbar which is classified by most anti-malware scanners as adware, or even worse as spyware. I say that because I see "SmileyCentral" in your list of plugins and that's an add-on for that particular toolbar. You can disable that via Tools | Add-ons | Plugins.
There are a number of toolbars which won't work with Firefox 4 anymore due to the enhanced protection mechanisms in the browser.
Mozilla recommends that you only install add-ons from its own security site @ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/?browse=featured Generally speaking, those have all been tested and approved. The exceptions are those currently under review which are marked with a yellow banner to warn users that they haven't passed Mozilla's labs yet.

  • Why doesn't my Links panel work?

Pix, etc not listed in links panel. I know there's a quick answer to this question but our corporate idiots who built this forum didn't bother making it possible for anyone to actually search the forum directly, a feature that has been available on every other forum in the whole world since there were forums. So, what happened to my links panel? No pictures listed.

Hi dkd;alkje;oihp[oihjl (is that short for something?),
Possibly because there are no links in your document? The images may have been inserted with Copy/Paste, and that leaves no trail to the original files. There is no way to repair that.
If you are pretty sure there should be links, try saving the file as INX (CS3 and older) or IDML (CS4 (and probably newer)), then re-opening that file. It might repair stuff that broke somewhere.
Alternatively, if you don't see any links in any file, even if you just placed them in the recommended way (using Place), your ID may have been damaged. Try the advice in the big yellow banner at the top of this forum to reset your preferences.

  • I have malware on my Macbook pro 15", I'm running 10.5.8

For a while my internet searches have been redirected to random pages & new windows have been opening in the background & macdefender pages keep popping up... Today both safari & firefox cannot access ebay.co.uk or com which are probably my most used site & my business, so all in all it's a bit dire!
I have had friends successfully log into my account from other locations & computers so It really is just mine going wrong... I've followed the guidelines from apple but cannot locate problem in applications or running process ... it seems there is anti virs software but not for 10.5.8.... any ideas what i can do now. • Clip Notes Review PrPro CS4

There seems to be a bug in Adobe Reader 9.3 with the new Yellow Message Bar. (Already posted a question in AReader Forum)
My first question is: What video playing programme is used in the PDF created by PrPro CS4?
Second question is: Is anyone else having this problem with the YMB?  (there is a convoluted work-around. Found it after hours of trial and error)

    Colin,
    Thanks for your reply.
I will try your 'fix' next time I use it, simpler than mine.
    My workaround is similar.
First access the PDF, OK the Instruction Dialogue box, Access the Yellow
Bar, Click security to 'remember', Close the PDF but do NOT save. Open the
PDF again, no yellow banner, OK the dialogue box and the play buttons appear
    and all is well.
Now, if the PDF is saved and closed the yellow bar re-appears when the PDF
is next opened. Repeat the process and all will be well again.
So much for Adobe making security simpler and better. I have lodged a bug
    report with them.
Release notes for AReader 9.3 includes the following.
    "Warning Message and Dialog Improvements
A non-intrusive Yellow Message Bar (YMB) that doesn’t block workflows
replaces many of the modal dialogs.
Yelow Message Bar appears when content attempts to invoke potentially risky
behavior such as cross domain access, JavaScript execution, data injection,
and playing legacy multimedia types (non-Flash). If the associated feature
is not locked down by an administrator, the Yellow Message Bar provides an
Options button that offers the user to trust the document “once” or “always”
for that feature. For more information, please click here."

  • 5.5k HD RED Dragon File Problem in Premiere Pro CC

    Hi everyone!
I am currently editing a project in premiere pro cc which is shot on the new RED Dragon Camera.
Premiere is incredibly awesome in handling all the huge files and displaying them in the timeline.
However I have found out, that some of our materials which are shot at a resolution of 5.5k HD (5376x3024 px) do not display in premiere at all.
I can import the files, I can look at their preferences like white balance, duration and framerates etc. BUT Premiere keeps showing me that yellow banner "Media Pending" whether its in the source monitor or timeline.
All other formats like 6k, 5k, 4.5k at different framerates work just fine.
I am not sure if it is due to this resolution but it's the only difference to the other files which work just fine and were recorded on the same drives a few minutes before that 5.5k material.
After Effects and RedCine X Pro work fine as well.
It might be a bug and I have already reported it to Adobe. But maybe someone has already solved the issue and found a good work around or something.
I have uploaded a 5.5k R3D file to WeTransfer if you want to check it out: http://we.tl/AyokYi4dJw
    OS: Windows 7 (6.1)
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 770 4GB
    CPU: Intel i7 4770k
    Premiere Pro CC (Version 7.2.1.)
    Thanks for your help!
    Burak

hehe... am currently exporting it from redcineX... that might be a work around for you worse comes to worse ??  kinda creepy but, maybe better than nothin...
mabye there's some metadata type stuff in the head of the file that is messing up your version of PPro cc ...someone should come by soon with your version to test it out...

  • Speeding load time of WEB Forms50

I have created a new Java archive as a subset of class files
provided in the Oracle archive 'f50web.jar' in an attempt to
speed up the launch time of an application.
The new Java archive contains just 160 (the only class files my
Forms need) of the 600 class files originally in the archive and
does indeed speed up launch time substantially - down from an
average of 45 seconds to 25 on a Pentium 160 and from 20 seconds
to under 5 on our dual-processor NT server.
However, the displayed Forms now all carry a yellow banner
across the bottom labelled 'warning - applet running' (to that
effect). How do I get rid of the banner?
P.S. Hints for reducing the archive size:
Full instructions are in the Oracle document 'Tuning
Developer/2000 Application performance on the WEB'. Note that
the file names in the archive are case sensitive. When you have
extracted the list of class files to include then the Unix
command 'cpio' makes an execellent tool to copy a directory
structure and a subset of the files it contains. 'pkzip' would
do the job just as well.

  • File Upload Demo Doesn't Work

Applet loads & I can select the file to upload. However, once I have selected the file to upload there is a message that says "Encoding...." for just a split second and then the applet hangs. The "Encoding..." message window has a yellow banner across the bottom warning about using an applet window. I looked at the output in the Java console and the last 10 or 15 lines describe an "AppletSecurityException: checkread".
Yes, I did register the certificate supplied with the demo. As far as I can tell, my classpath, path, & forms60_path are correct. At least I get no errors indicating that this is the problem.
Could it be that Jinitiator is looking in the wrong certificate registry for the certificate?
Please help! I'm about to give up on the upload bean and start looking for alternative solutions. If anyone out there was actually able to get the filr upload demo to work, please respond and help me trouble-shoot this.
Thanks for any help you can give.

    Still having problems....
I downloaded the Forms 9i demos. I copied the latest 9i UploadClient.jar and UploadServer.jar files into my \orant\forms60\java folder. I unjarred, rejarred, and signed them. I am running Jinitiator 1.3.1.9 on the client. When I first ran the form I got the "Duke" message asking if I should trust the signer (Myself) and I responded "always trust". However, the form didn't show display and it appeared to hang. So I copied the 9i classes into my \orant\forms60\java\oracle\demos\uploadclient & uploadserver folders (respectively). Now the form will display, but my Java console displays the following error and the form appears to hang immediately after loading.

  • Sync encountered an error, incorrect username or password. Changed password, updated password, still same error. How do I change username?

I am using Firefox 5 in Ubuntu 11.04 Natty. When Firefox tries to sync it gives an error; "incorrect account name or password". I went to the "change password" link, followed the emailed link, changed my password and updated the password in Sync preferences. I have done this three times but still get the incorrect account name or password error. What do I need to do now?

This happened a few days ago as well. I've read elsewhere that the problem is with their servers, not our accounts (cannot find the link now). Whenever the servers get back online, or updated, or whatever, the problem will go away. It's been taking longer than usual to get back this time, so that yellow banner at the bottom has become quite annoying.
