A-z in a spinner

I have a requirement to have a-z in a spinner? Any ideas if this can be accomplished in ADF?

There is nothing out of the box. It should not be that hard to do using an inputText component together with two buttons for the up and down arrows and a variable in a beam our any attribute in the bindings. Then all you need are methods to increase and decrease the variable or attribute and you are done.

I am now using flash builder 4.5.1 to create a mobile application. there will be multiple images in the view. I want to use a spinner to indicate the image is loading, and once the image loaded, the content of each image be replaced by the original mobimage.

How do I get rid of the spinner that appears on the left side on the tabs?

There's a little green spinner that appears to the left of "Connecting..." on the tabs while loading a page. Any way to get rid of it? It's been quite annoying me for a while.

You can manually create/edit the userChrome.css file. Here's how.
(1) Find (or create) the chrome folder. This is a folder in your currently active Firefox settings folder, also known as your Firefox profile folder.
* Open the your profile folder using: Help > Troubleshooting Information
** Windows: Click the "Show Folder" button
** Mac: Click the "Show in Finder" button
* Check for a chrome folder.
** If it exists: double-click it to open it.
** If it does not exist: create a chrome folder, then double-click it to open it.
(2) Create or Edit a userChrome.css file by adding your style rule.
* Check for a userChrome.css file in the chrome folder.
** If it exists: open it in a text editor. Check that it has this first line: @namespace url(http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul); Then add the following lines and save the file: .tab-throbber { display: none !important }  
** If it does not exist: create a new text file named userChrome.css. (In Windows, right-click and choose New > Text Document and change the name to userChrome.css.) Then see the previous step for what to place in the file.
The rule change should take effect the next time you start Firefox.
Note: I find it easier to use the Stylish extension, but if you don't want yet another extension, then userChrome.css makes the most sense.

Jabber for Windows 9.2.4 - Spinner freezes on "forward calls to"

On Jabber for Windows 9.2.4 when we activate "Forward calls to" - the forward is set on controlled phone, however the spinner freezes (see image) and won't clear until a different phone is selected for control. Setting "forward calls to" "none" does not clear the spinner.

this is known issue: 'CSCui37305 - After forwarded call, "Setting call forwarding..." does not disappear' and it is already resolved in 9.2.6.

How do I use Spinner data as multiple filed input?

I am creating a dashboard that displays labor load over a 12 month period. However, in order for the data to be useful the user must be able to enter the number of employees in specific groups. This can change from month to month over a 12 month period. In addition, vacation time must be subtracted in order to calculate a true labor availability to compare to the load in the graph. I can do this with 12 spinners for the available employees and an additional 12 spinners for vacation hours (one for each month). It would be much simpler if there was a way to use one spinner for the available employees and point that data into different cells in the associated spreadsheet. Can this be done?

When I open a new window, the spinner does not stop, or the window open

I have a MBP 3 yrs. old, running Snow Lep. When I open a new window, the spinner in the address bar spins and window does not open unless I click on the X and stop the spinner. Some times this doesn't work either. It just hangs up trying to open the next window.

Better way: use a master page. In the load_page event, check the session. Thus, you wouldn't need to write the method to check in every page, just in the master page.

Masterpage is a better idea.
But The login page shouldn't use MasterPage OR need to have logic to check before redirecting to login page if you are already in Login page.
Otherwise you will get into Recursive Redirection error.

MacBook Pro hanging with blue screen and spinner after installing Software Update

Hi I was wondering if someone could help me with this current issue. Just a few hours ago I finished reinstalling Mac OS X Snow Leopard in my MacBook Pro. I performed a clean installation as part of a yearly spring cleaning that I do on all my systems to keep them optimized. So there was I downloading some software updates which included the combo update of OSX 10.6.8 and others. The updates finished downloading and the system logged out to install the updates, when the updates finished installing my MacBook proceeded by logging out into a blue screen and show a gray spinner similar to the one seen when you start your Mac. Here's the problem after 2 hours the system is showing the spinner and the blue screen, I think that my computer has just hanged in the reboot process.
I was wondering what should I do? Do a force restart? Or leave it overnight?
Also, where can I find any information on what error is causing this issue?
I appreciate your responses and help.
By the way, I installed Mac OS X from a USB stick that has the original image of the disk installer that came bundled with my computer.

Checked the hard drive after forcing a shutdown and booting from my Snow Leopard Installer USB Key and the status of the HDD says "Verified". I ran the repair and the volume was repaired successfully. Clicked on "Verify Disk" and it says "Macintosh HD appears to be OK". So I ran a second repair and again no errors were reported.
As suggested I booted back again in Safe Mode and restarted normally. All software appears to have been installed successfully. But I don't understand why my computer hanged and showed the spinner after installing the updates in the blue screen that appears just before rebooting. I am aware that the system shows that spinner after a OS update but the longest it lasts is 30 seconds at the most in my previous cases.

How do I create a spinner for an "Activity" Task field???

I am in need of a "spinner" for one of my Activity Task fields. What I term a spinner is basically a numeric field which which can be increased or decreased by the user through the use of either an up or down arrow next to the numeric field.

Anyone know if this is possible? I need the spinner to be primed with numerical values of 0 through 99.

Well, I'd guess you could try to create it in a Form Applet, but I don't think a List Applet will allow you to have buttons next to a Field (Control).
AFAIK Siebel doesn't have spinners. You could try to open a SR with lowest priority and see what Oracle comes up with. They might open an Enhancement Request, but I guess that won't be finished in time for you. ;-)

Itunes 7.5 spinner at start-up

I'm seeing the spinner when I first start itunes 7.5
it lasts several seconds, but does eventually go away
it's very annoying.
Anyone have any ideas ?
