A3 to Zenfolio Export

Can anyone tell me (step by step) how to setup A3 to export to Zenfolio? (I've already downloaded the necessary file, but don't know where to put it, (be nice). Too bad Aperture can't be a easy as iPhoto! Thank you!

You are going to put it into a particular folder. In a Finder window, click on your hard drive icon in the left column. Then follow this path to the proper folder:
Library>Application Support>Aperture>Plug-Ins>Export
So, place the file you downloaded in the Export folder above. If Aperture is running, quit and restart. Zenfolio should now be one of you Export options for Aperture. Also, be sure you downloaded it very recently. A new version (v .19) came out that works with Aperture 3 in 64 bit mode.
I use the plug-in and it works great.

  • Zenfolio export Q

    Anyone know if I will need to reload my Zenfolio export plugin?
    Mark

    Sadly, I'm not getting to upload. Aperture 2 (which I love, save for this issue!) allows me to get as far as the Log in dialog, and when I do (log-in to Zenfolio), nothing happens. The Log in button is still there, and none of my galleries are available. If I click the Log in button again, the drop-down window shows my information for logging in that I just entered, but clicking ok only makes that window disappear. It never completes the log in phase.
    Any suggestions? BTW, I recently installed a new hardrive in the Macbook, and updated all my apps from a Tiger backup after a fresh install of Leopard on the new drive. This is in fact my first attempt to upload new images to Zenfolio since the new drive/OS/Aperture 2 upgrades. Am I missing something?
    Thanks...

  • Exporting chronologically by capture time without having to rename files

    Is there any way to export files by capture time without having to rename all the files? Right now they are always rearranged numerically by the file name and get all mixed up chronologically.
    Thanks, Kinsey

    Although it may not be of help to you, it happens that Jeffrey Friedl's "Export to Zenfolio" (Lightroom plugin) provides the option to keep the destination folder (Gallery) sorted according to various criteria, such as creation date, etc. This would do what you want, but unfortunately this doesn't work for general export (e.g., to disk). I'm not aware if anyone's written a plugin that does export file-sorting for "general" export.
    Friedl also has written "Export to..." plugins for Smugmug, Picassa, Flickr, and Facebook, although I don't know if all (or any) of these have the same gallery sorting options as in his excellent Zenfolio export plugin.

  • How to use LR 1.3 modules with LR 1.4

    Hello:
    This worked for me. I edit all the Info.lua files of my modules:
    LR/Mogrify
    LR/enfuse
    zenfolio export
    flick export
    Locate the line
    LrSdkVersion = 1.3,
    and change this line with this
    LrSdkVersion = 1.4,
    Save the Info.lua file and restart LR 1.4. You will see the modules again.
    I have only tested the LR/Mogrify. It seems to work.
    Regards,
    Javier.

    This trick will allow 1.4 to sow the plugin and you may get to use it. But does not mean you will necessarily have no problems with the plugin if it is not the latest version meant for 1.4.
    Best to upgrade the Plugins to what is available from the third party source of them.

  • Export to Zenfolio v5.2 EXTREMELY slow

    Hi,
    I have been using LR 5.2 for several months now and use the Jeffery Friedl Plug-in to export images to Zenfolio.  This past week, I am having serious issues exporting to zenfolio - It takes about 10 hours to export 64 images, that's over 6 minutes for a single image.  I have no idea what is making this happen and am looking for any suggestions or if anyone else has experienced this???
    Thanks,

    It looks like the developer and Zenfolio know about the problem. There is more info here:

  • Is there a way of setting up one more than one export preset to a funcion key?

    Hi
    is there a way of setting up Lightroom to export images in using more than one export preset at one time? When I have edited my photos I very often want to create a full res JPEG to upload to Zenfolio with no watermark, a medium res JPEG to go to Flickr and a 1500px image with a watermark for Facebook (I normally upload these last). I'm hoping Lightroom would also have a an option to set Function keys to trigger export presets for example.
    I'd like to be able to stack export presets to help with my workflow.
    Thanks

    robcole.com - ExportManager
    does what you want, as long as you don't need post-process actions in your export preset(s).

  • Colors washed out in lightroom but not after export

    I'm new to Lighroom and don't really have a workflow sorted out. I'm shooting with a Canon 30D and shooting Raw+Jpeg until I learn enough to confidently handle raw files. If I adjust the images in lightroom so that they don't appear lifeless and grey by adding lots of saturation, when I export to jpeg and then view with windows picture viewer to see what the images would look like on Zenfolio in SRGB they are grossly over saturated and clownish. My monitor(Dell 2005FPW) is not calibrated with a calibrator but I am using the adobe prophoto icc profile in an effort to have some color management as I understand that is what Lightroom/CS3 uses. I'm not printing yet but hope to some day, for now I'd just like to upload some photo's to Zenfolio and share with friends and family but as it sits Lightroom is totally unusable as I have to guess what it will look like after export. I'm certain it's something I'm doing wrong or missing and I'm hoping someone can tell me what that is. Thanks in advance, Veet

    Thanks for all the replies, I was beginning to think I was on my own,I'm very happy this thread finally came to life. I did use an adobe Monitor profile (Prophoto) as I thought that was the color space used by LR and had read in some other thread that I should use it. I tried using my supplied profile (2005fpw.icm) and I get an error message from Photoshop stating "The Monitor profile"Dell 2005FPW color profile" appears to be defective please rerun your monitors calibration software. I then have the option to ignore the profile or to use it anyways. I actually stumbled accross the huelight ACR's and tried them out but that didn't help. Photoshop has the same bland lifeless look as LR does. I d/l a trial of Elements 5 and it was also the same so it's adobe across the board. Color space and color management are totally new concepts for me
    so I'm really at a disadvantage trying to trouble shoot this, I can bandy these terms about, but I suspect I don't really grok them fully as of yet. I'll be happy when I finally get my monitor calibrated, I understand now that it won't be a magic "fix all" :( but at least I'll have a solid point to begin building a color managed system. Other Raw converters don't seem to have this problem but as I am just now developing my workflow I'd like to master one program and I think I'd like that to be LR as it seems to be the one that encompasses the entire workflow ie. rating,cataloging,flagging ect. and I feel it would probably mesh best with Photoshop which I also plan to learn/use. I'm feeling pretty stuck and not very inspired to shoot atm as the exposures just keep piling up and aren't being integrated or dealt with appropriately. I don't have auto tone checked off and I'll see if I can track down an updated driver/profile for my monitor, one which isn't "defective" as Adobe puts it. Thank you for all the replies, I will get this resolved eventually and any help you guys can give me is more than appreciated.
    A few questions should I shoot Adobe RBG or SRGB from the camera and does it matter for RAW? My understanding was that in order to use 16 bit I needed to be in AdobeRBG.
    Which profile should I use for photoshop? as I can set the color space in it
    After I calibrate my monitor will I be able to use that profile for the various pieces of software I'll be using?
    I think I have Color Profile and Color Space meshed in my mind and thats probably very wrong. Thanks, Veet

  • Exporting for web question

    OK, I'm sorry to ask  this one; I'm sure it's been asked hundreds of times.
    How do I add my own personal watermark to my images upon export?  I have the .png file.  I just need to apply it to the bottom right corner so it will show up when I post it online.  Here is an example of what I want it to look like.  http://jgpix.zenfolio.com/p531090583/h2e41c3f0#h34073e18
    This example was not done with Lr, but rather an option provided by my photo hosting service (Zenfolio)  I want to be able to do this with Lr.

    Yes, that is good, but the ImageMagick file was corrupt

  • Export preset to Business Catalyst Photo Gallery Module

    Does anyone know of a Export Preset to Business Catalyst Photo Gallery Module. Similar to the ones available for exporting to Smugmug or Zenfolio?

    If you're a little familiar with Business Catalyst, you might find this widget helpful.
    It's a BC Photo Gallery - Muse Widget, Its very easy to use and customize.
    There is a training video on how to set it up.
    However Brad is right, you'll need to upgrade to BC webMarketing Plan.

  • Lightroom export - relative subdirectory

    Hi, this question is pretty much what I want to ask (http://forums.adobe.com/message/1461872#1461872) but the answer is not clear to me.
    I want to create export pre-sets in LR 2.4 and keep them in relative subdirectories.
    Say I attend an event I want to create the following:
    <Event1>
       <RAW>
            <selected>
            <rejected>
       <web-watermarked>
       <DVD-print>
       <slideshow>
    <Event2>
       <RAW>
            <selected>
            <rejected>
       <web-watermarked>
       <DVD-print>
       <slideshow>
    In the export dialogue I can create a preset to export to a subdirectory of the parent so I could have:
    <RAW>
         <web-watermarked>
         <DVD-print>
    But that is not what I want.
    Ideally my export would be to "..\DVD-print" but "..\" is not allowed. As I export I want to add to catalogue.The best I can do is export to subdirectories and then move them once completed. That's clunky.
    Is it possible to tell 2.4 to do a relative export?

    I assume that "OP" is slang for "other person."
    I am experiencing two problems:
    1.  Firstly I am missing presets
      a.  By presets I mean
                    a. keyword presets,
                    b. filter presets, and
                    c. custom develop presets.
      b.  "Just missing presets"  constitutes a great deal of effort for me, and it should be for you, since it's an issue that has been raised since to LR 2 and has been raise in CS4 as well.
    2.  I've also lost all my watermarks and am unable to recreate watermarks that actually appear on export files.
    For the record I am using LR 3.2 64 bit beta with Windows 7 64 bit
    I've been using them for months.
    This problem occured yesterday for the first time.
    I have backedup, as recommended by LR, several times.
    Restores have not helped.
    There have not been any recent system updates.
    The only plug-in I use is the export to zenfolio.
    The watermark problem is not related to the zenfolio plug-in, I have the same issue exporting to hard disk without the plug-in.
    The watermark editor does not show the choosen graphic as it last time I checkede (several days ago.)
    I don't understand why keysets are not part of the backup...
    Are they not part of the catelog?
    Feel free to ask me all the questions you want, but please help me resolve this issue.

  • Plug-In for exporting/importing links

    I need a plug-in that can export/import all links from a pdf.
    Until now I found only one http://www.evermap.com/autobookmark.asp
    But it's kinda pricy... does anybody know of anything else?

    I use Jeffrey Friedl's “jf Zenfolio” plug-in and highly recommend it. Unlike most plug-ins of this sort, it get syncing right. Most will allow you to upload once, and then if you change things in Lr, the syncing goes to heck. Not JfZenfolio. It's a pleasure to use.

  • Exporting metadata in Yosemite

    Since upgrading to Yosemite and doing the Aperture upgrade as well; whenever I export photos to the desktop, Zenfolio, or Facebook the title and caption info does not export as well. It was working in Mavericks. It's kind of a pain having to reenter all the info after exporting.
    Is there a way to make this work again in Yosemite?

    At "Aperture ▹ Presets ▹ Image Export ... " is "Include Metadata" (second from the top) checked for each Image Export Preset you are using?
    Screenshot:

  • Export to jpeg:  Show jpeg file size prior to export

    Photoshop save to jpeg dialog box shows the jpeg file size associated with each jpeg compression level (1 - 12).  Lightroom export dialog box does not show jpeg file size.  Showing the expected jpeg file size is useful when needing to limit file size while maximizing jpeg quality.  For example, some email applications limit attachment file size; some photo hosting sites (e.g., Zenfolio) limit file size to 12mb.  If I export a cr2 file at 100 quality, it may result in a file size of 14mb.  However, I cannot determine this until after I export.  Then I may try 90 quality and find that the resulting file size is only 8mb.  So, I try 95 quality, and get a 12.5mb file.  This iterative process is a waste of time.  I need to se the file size resulting from each jpeg quality setting in the export dialog box.

    I have tried trashing the plist file. The files look fine through the media manager when copied to the other profile. They look like they are suppose to. The small videos also look fine when played on that computer. Unfortunately our other mac pro computer doesn't have final cut so i can't open and play proress files and my laptop, due to the extreme resolution can't be played on my laptop with final cut studio installed. Tomorrow i'm going to install the proress decoder on the one mac pro to check the files and make sure the self contained is checked but i'm almost positive on that. Other than nuking the profile i don't know what else to do. This is really weird.
