AA834 encountered during settlement KO88

Hi,
At the time of settlement with investment order via KO88, we are getting the following error.
AA834 "You cannot use this transaction
type to post to this asset".
After investigation, we suspect that this might be due to downpayment we've just made to PO that belongs to the order.
In our business process, these are POs assigned with insvestment orders which end of the month should be settle to AUC asset.
Appreciate if someone could enlighten me what has gone wrong as the down payment is made against the PO and we do not want to capitalise down payment to AUC. However, system check for these down payment since during order settlement. This has jeopordised our month end process.
Many thanks.
Regards,
Firefly

Hi Firefly,
If I understand the situation correctly, you have an investment order hence the Internal order and the AUC is linked and the settlement happens automatically to the AUC on executing KO88.
As per SAP standard flow, the downpayments posted will get capitalised to AUC on settlement and the error message cannot be controlled. I can suggest 2 way out -
1 - If the Internal order has not been posted before, delete the investment profile and make it a normal overhead internal order. Settle the the Internal Order manually by excluding the downpayment amount.
2 - Do the following configuration and capitalise the downpayment -
In OAYB, select transaction type 15 and enter the asset class of the AUC to which the settlement is to be made.
We had gone with the 2nd option and addition in AO90, we gave a different GL account in "Acquisition: down payments" than the one given in "Acquisition:Acquis. and production costs". This helps us to monitor and segregate the downpayment amounts capitalised and also ensure that it is cleared when F-54 is done.
Hope this clarifies the issue you are facing.
Thanks and Regards,
anit

  • Problems were encountered during repair of the partition map.

I had too much time on my hands yesterday and I decided to try to remove an unused kernel extension that I saw in my EtreCheck report. The kext was for the PACE iLok, for Pro Tools, which I no longer use. I found the item that was installing the kext and removed it, and EtreCheck reported that the kext was gone.
Some time after that I was troubleshooting another issue I have with Mavericks (shutdown time: my shutdown time with ML was almost instantaneous; with Mavericks, it takes about 12 seconds.), and I used the recovery partition and Disk Utility to repair my HD and permissions.
DU reported that my usual boot volume was OK, and permissions repaired on it without problems.
When I have DU look at the drive itself, it reported: Problems were encountered during repair of the partition map.
And then, in ominous red text: error: live file system repair is not supported.
I tried repairing again, and also got this message: The partition map needs to be repaired because there's a problem with the EFI system partition 's file system.
I tried a few things to get these error messages to go away. I booted with a DiskWarrior disk and it was unable to do the repair.
I did a little reading about the EFI partition, and in Macs it appears to be a partition related to firmware updates.
My mac has not had any symptoms at all during this, aside from the slower shutdown.
Even so, I did not like the idea of a partition that could not be repaired on my HD, so I did a clean install. Seemed to work, DU reported a healthy drive and volume.
This morning, as I was preparing for a TM backup, I ran DU again, and the error messages were back. Not good.
This time I tried TechTool, and it was able to repair the HD from the TechTool eDrive (TechTool's version of the recovery partition).
I've looked in these discussions and there are some mentions of these error messages, but usually in the context of failing hard drives or drives that must be erased and the OS reinstalled.
I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on this for me, what these error messages mean, why they are occurring, and if I can just ignore them. My internal HD is not a stock Apple drive, but a Samsung SSD that I installed some time ago, and which otherwise works fine. My current suspicions are that either:
there is something inherent in Mavericks that creates some problem with the EFI partition map over time, which then shows up in the error messages in DU
or there is some incompatibility with this SSD and Mavericks that creates the same error messages.

When trying to install lightroom through creative cloud I get Installation Failed - Errors encountered during installation(7) - I have tried rebooting the machine logging in and out nothing helps ?

Hello all and thank you for the replies.  @Mylenium this is a new system  setup = windows 8.1 fully updated - hardware not so new but more that adequate -  i7 processor 3.2Mhz 16GB ram 2TB hdd 2 x Nvidia GTX 60's in SLi and Adobe apps was the first I installed , Bridge & Photoshop went through fine. The only error message was that one clicking  the link to get more info just took me to a generic help site.
Anyway last night I downloaded the trial version which came down fine and installed it without a glitch and after registering the software online it picked up that I was a CC user and automatically entered the license key so all is good.

  • Problem in Settlement Receiver during Settlement Rule in T.code IW31/32

    Hi,
We have created an Equipment Number 11001212 with Business Area 1451 / Cost center 145130100. After that when are create Order in respect to that Equipment Number through IW31.
During Settlement Rule, when we select Account assignment category CTR - Cost Center...and press F4 on Settlement Receiver column, it shows the value in respect to all Cost Centers.
We want that in settlement receiver column, values should show in respect to related cost center. (defined as per Equipment Master).
    Please guide...

    Hi,
Pass the Order number in AFIH to get Equipment Number (EQUNR) value.
Pass the Equipment No in V_EQUI table with Valid to date (DATBI) as 31.12.999 & get the value of ILOAN value.
Pass this value in ITOB table & get Cost Center KOSTL value.
In IWO10027 user exit, in F4 possible entry option, ABAP people can restrict the required cost center.
IWO10009 PM Order: Customer Check for 'Save' Event
Even though the user enters manually some other cost center without going for F4 option, by check that value, you can give the error message, while saving the order.
Pass the Order number in AUFK table to get Object Number (OBJNR).
Pass OBJNR value in COBRB table to get KOSTL value.
Compare both the value & you can give the error message.
Give these tables, fields & user exits to ABAP people. They can form the correct logic.
    Incorporate both the logic.
    Regards,
    Maheswaran.

  • User-exit during settlement of PM orders to COPA

    HI,
We have a situation where a plant maintenance order type is sometimes charged to a customer. In those cases, the costs are sent to SD using a DIP profile, the customer invoiced. with the PM orders as the cost object for the revenue posting. At the end of the month, the PM order is settled to COPA. But I also need to duplicate the entry on the cost centre....
So I need two user-exits, one of which I have.
I need a user-exit to override the automatically derived settlement rule, so that I can put in a PSG as settlement receiver.
Then somewhere, either at the time of the billing doc release to accounting, but preferably at the time of the settlement posting into COPA, I need a user-exit where I can quickly post an FI document.
COPA0002, which we use for something similar in postings from SD to COPA, seems not to be triggered during settlement postings. The same is true of the Fm's for COPA0005.
Does anybody know of a user-exit that gets triggered during settlemnt to COAP from orders?

    Hi
Your settlement rule says "Settle to Cost Center" only.... I dont think any user exit can help in this case, if you want to settle occasioanlly to 2 cost objects
    Try with these options
    Option A
    1. Remove the 100% validation tick in the settlement profile...
    2. Maintain 2 settlement rules... i.e. One with Cost center and another with PSG... If any warning comes, ignore it
    3. Execute settlement now
    Option B
    1. Maintain settlement rule with PSG as settlement receiver
    2. In the same Settlement rule, Menu GO TO > DETAILS and maintain Cost Center also....
    3. Now execute settlement...
    Option C
    1. Maintain settlement rule with PSG as settlement receiver
    2. In the same Settlement rule, populate Cost Center also as a Valid Characteristic
    3. Now execute settlement...

    Hi,
    It’s version 13.1.1  It’s a trial version.
I am updating it from the Creative cloud desktop application.
I have the photography subscription with Lightroom and Photoshop with Creative Cloud.
I was interested in trying out the video software and have trials of Premiere Pro as well as others.  The CC desktop app alerted me to the AF update just as it does for the others I subscribe to plus the ones I am using as trials.  I have not had any problems with the other apps (trial or not), only with AF.
    Thanks.
