Hello i have currently been having lots of problems using after effects cc i downloaded photoshop and something went wrong i fixed the problem temporarily and i was haveing problems with after effects getting errors like error 1, error 16 and application manager is damaged or gone i have unistalled and reinstalled both Application manager, creative cloud and After effects and now it wont open at all please help

Without proper system info nobody can even begin to guess. As a start run the cleaner tool and try again.

Unable to install updates nor exclusive features; Adobe Application Manager damaged?

I've acquired a Spanish student's subscription of Adobe Creative Cloud, and downloaded Photoshop CS6 Extended, Flash CS6 Professional and Illustrator CS6. However, I have two issues related to downloading updates:
When I try to update or download an application, the Adobe Application Manager shows the message "Downloading error | Adobe Application Manager is damaged and it is necessary to resinstall it. Download it now or contact with customer's support."
However I reinstalled AAM three times, but instead of reinstalling, shows the message "Updating Adobe Application Manager" and after the installation, running AAM again shows the same message.
I cannot access to the Adobe Creative Cloud exclusive features of Photoshop and Illustrator, showing the application as if it was activated by a serial, and not by subscription.
I am using a Windows Vista 32-bit operating system.
Update: The version of AAM is 6.2

I have the same issue, particularly with Pixel Bender 2.5, all the other upgrades get installed correctly without trouble but this one always fail, the message I get is the same one every time:

Installation failed
Can you point me in the right direction? It seems to me that the patch is faulty.

Here's another update on my issue with Adobe Application Manager, I just realized today that actually none of the available upgrades got installed. Although it only marks an error with Pixel Bender, other components such as Photoshop, Premiere and others aren't being upgraded either even when the program tells you otherwise, what I mean is that for example there's Photoshop 12.0.2 available for download so I click on "Update"; the files get downloaded and installed with no error message being displayed but when I check the software it is still version 12.0.1, the same is happening with Premiere and another one, can't remember which one.
This is additional to the issue of Pixel Bender being unable to upgrade.

I tried to download all the available updates individually from the Adobe website, the only one that went through was Photoshop, but then when I double clicked it to install it the same faulty application manager launched and I got the same behavior than before, it runs the installation and displays a message that states that everything was installed correctly, yet there no upgrade performed.
All the rest of the available downloads failed to mount.
Also the speed for download is excessively low, I checked my connection and the issue is not on my end, but yours.
This is starting to become very frustrating.

App installation completes, but app says it's damaged

After losing my secondary app drive (on Mac), I decided to reinstall the Adobe apps as new. I couldn't uninstall them since they were not on the drive any longer, so I dug around for a manual solution so that CC App Manager would realize that the apps were gone. I ended up deleting the /Library/Application Support/Adobe/ folder contents.
I then manually removed the Adobe Manager and the reinstalled from the download on the CC Apps site.
Finally, the App manager saw that I didn't have the apps installed.
I selected PP, AE, AU and SG and let them install. Now, when I open any of the apps, they report that they appear to be damaged and that I should reinstall them.
EDIT - I just uninstalled and reinstalled PP and it still says that it's damaged.
Pointers appreciated.

To simplify that page for others -
If your Adobe Applications Manager still thinks the apps are installed when they are not, you should download and execute the CC Cleaner tool from http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
Run that before you do anything else
Once it's run, reinstall the AAM and then double check the AAM preferences to make sure that your login and app path are correct.
Finally, download and install the apps that you use.

Cloud AAM & Windows don't Mix

Using the Adobe Application Manager for Creative Cloud wrecked havoc on my Windows 7 Professional workstation. Windows cannot remove the application normally and the Adobe Cleaner Tool left my workstation in worse shape as Adobe seems to be installing software as if it were malware.
I checked with a local Apple/Adobe reseller and service expert to the trade, and they indicated that they are getting reports of the AAM for the Creative Cloud not working and causing problems on Windows workstations. They now only recommend using DVDs to install Adobe products on Windows computers.
Unfortunately, since I use and teach Creative Suite, this is quite a dilemna. Too bad Adobe has become this terrible monopoly with flawed software and a lack of customer care to deal with the problems caused by their use of malware techniques.
***UPDATE***
My refund issue has been resolved, so the only financial damage is getting my workstation fixed so that the Adobe malware is fully removed.

BTW, if you are willing to wait 30 to 60 minutes, you can get a friendly customer care representative, who appears to be working in India, and then you will be on hold some more time as they try to navigate the Adobe customer system to resolve any issues you might have.

After Effects & Premiere doesn't recognize AAM

I recently downloaded Adobe After Effects & Premiere from creative cloud and they doesn't recognize AAM.
When I open them they say "Adobe Application Manager , required to run your product, is missing or damaged...".
I tried to reinstall AAM but still no hope.

Adobe Application Manager missing or damage

I have installed Adobe Application Manager multiple times. The programs work after I download and install the Application Manager but the next day (or if I close the program and try to open it again) I get this error when trying to open any program. Does anyone know why The file keeps getting damage? I am not moving anything around.

Please follow the given steps:
1. Uninstall CC desktop
2. Run the cleaner tool to remove any instances of AAM: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
3. Disable UAC: http://www.mydigitallife.info/how-to-disable-and-turn-off-uac-in-windo ws-7/
4. Delete OOBE from the location.:
(Windows: Navigate to C/Program Files(X86)/Common FIles/Adobe/OOBE and rename to OOBE.old if present
Mac: Libray/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename to OOBE.old)
5. Restart your machine and try installing CC desktop: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
6. If the error still persists then try to enable hidden admin: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-adminis trator-account-on-windows-vista/ and try installing CC Desktop again.

AAM crashed during PS CC installation

During PS CC installation the AAM crahsed. Now PS CC seems not completely installed or damaged. Does anybody now what to do to re-install it?

PS CC is not yet avalaible for download, We are not sure what you are trying to install, can you please attach some screenshots of what you are trying to do.
if you are simply installing CS6 through the AAM, then we would suggest you to re-install / update the AAM from
www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773 for Windows
www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774 for Mac
and then TRY Installing it again.

How to re-download an app that came in incomplete/damaged

Hi folks,
I recently downloaded (or rather attempted to download) Adobe Premiere Pro but on trying to open it got the message -"Adobe Premiere Pro maybe damaged or incomplete. The problem is in my Creative CLoud account it is now showing as up to date and downloaded. How do I go about removing this status and downloading
a working app ?

AAM dissapeared,creativ cloud download doesn`t work

My AAM everytime shows an error that it`s missing or damaged and i need to download a copy.
When I click the Download button on the Creative Cloud page (https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud), it brings up a dialogue that forces me to open the link with CreativeCloud URIHandler. But this doesn`t work.

I am the one with the problem wich kaderdz exposed. Sorry for my English writing, my first language is French!
I still have the same problem and some of my projects won't open (months of work...).
The few projects that opens are kind of weird : only one chanel work in the audio, and the "title" window has also change. Here are some screen shots of what happens :

From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it as well, if it's present.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

How do I backup to my external hd on 10.6.8 if the disk is damaged and can't be repaired?

Hi! So, I'll get straight to the point. I'm running 10.6.8 on my mac, which is about 5 years old. I attempted to install OSX Mavericks last night, so I could update some of my software. Anyways, the computer restarts and opens up the installer for OSX Mavericks, but after about a minute of installing, it shows that the Mavericks install failed. The upgrade couldn't be started because the disk Macintosh HD is damaged and can't be repaired.
Could someone tell me (step by step) how to back up all of my data, erase the disk, and install again? I have an external HD by the way.

So, essentially you're saying that I need to download one of these programs to my external hd. But, how do I boot it from my mac if I can't get past the installation screen of Mavericks? I'm running on my other mac right now, if that helps. I've tried to use disk utility to repair, but it's greyed out. If you need to carry large files (e.g., larger than about 4GB) back and forth, you may need ExFAT. Otherwise MS-DOS works for smaller files.

I damaged my iphone 5s and want to get my photos back. It was submerged in water for a good five minutes (and is now in rice) but I'm pretty sure it's dead.
I really would like to get my photos back. I wasn't plugging in my iphone and backing up, I just assumed it did it automatically because about a week ago I had a message saying automatic backups were stopping as my icloud was full.
My work ipad is running on ios8 (as of a few days ago!) but my iphone was on ios7 as I didnt have enough space to install the update. This means that my icloud is now icloud drive and I cannot view the stuff from my ios7 device without upgrading it to ios8. Trouble is, I cant upgrade it because it's in a rice bowl.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Any idea if I will be able to access my photos on icloud at all? I'm not very hopeful for my phone working again and downloading things that way!

Photos that are in the cloud stay there until they are removed by a device that has the right privileges. If your iPad is logged in with the same AppleID, then doesn't it show the photos from iCloud?
You will only be on iCloud Drive if you expressly chose to upgrade.
