AAM program corrupted on Parallels PC

I have an Adobe Cloud subscription, and I'm trying to install Flash CS6 on the PC side of my iMac. I'm using Parallels to run Windows 7.
I downloaded the Adobe Application Manager, but when I ran it, it told me it was corrupted, and to download it again, but that didn't work out.
I tried this Cleaner program, but that hasn't worked either so I am out of ideas.
I was looking for a way to uninstall AAM and start from scratch, but I don't know how to do that.
Can you help?

Elizabethkohl I installed Windows 8 in Bootcamp over the President's day weekend. It is working fine in this environment. In general I would not recommend running Adobe Creative applications in a virtual environment. Personally I am able to install our software in a virtual machine but I regularly receive error messages if I attempt to use the Adobe Creative applications regarding missing functionality and other errors.

hi can you help me having problems downloading app I can't drag and drop and if I try to install using download link it tells me to choose the aam program I want to use. I have successfully downloaded other apps before and dont know where to find this program really need some help with this. Thanks!

I can access the aam now that I know what it stands for by opening the application seperately from the desktop and download. What I cant do is download from the cloud site where it is unable to locate and open the aam from there. As long as I can download I dont have a problem with it Im guessing it may well be a windows or browser issue. I will try from chrome if I it doesnt work I will let the firum know I would be interested to know whether its something Im doing or its a common issue.

It's not clear if you installed Windows in a virtual machine or you installed Windows in Boot Camp but you run it in Parallels.
If you installed Windows in Boot Camp, open "Boot Camp Assistant" (it's in /Applications/Utilities) and follow the steps to restore your hard disk into one volume. If you installed Windows on a virtual machine, just open Parallels and delete the virtual machine where you have installed Windows

Itunes program corrupted on Windows XP and can't be removed...

I have an Iphone 4 and regularly update it via Itunes. Recently my Itunes program got corrupted. Upon rebooting the computer I got an error window pop up with this message "AppleSyncNotifier.exe -Entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point sqlite3_wai_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic point library SQLite3.dll"
Soon my whole Itunes program crashed and I tried to remove and reinstall it but got the message that the "older version" of Itunes cannot be removed. Now even my CD/DVD drive is corrupted and not working.

Normally, I'd think of these as three different problems.
(1) "AppleSyncNotifier.exe -Entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point sqlite3_wai_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic point library SQLite3.dll"
With that one, I'd first try uninstalling and then reinstalling your MobileMe control panel.
(2) Soon my whole Itunes program crashed and I tried to remove and reinstall it but got the message that the "older version" of Itunes cannot be removed.
Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp. Restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
(3) Now even my CD/DVD drive is corrupted and not working.
Could you describe what's going on with that one in a bit more detail, please?

CS3 programs corrupted

I have CS3 Design Premium and have to reinstall it, however, I cannot deactivate it because the programs all crash when I try to launch them. Can anyone tell me how to deactivate CS3 on my computer so I can uninstall/reinstall it since Adobe doesn't support CS3 anymore?

Run the Cleaner tool then re-install. There is no way to deactivate, but you may not have to re-activate and if you do need another activation, technical support can help you with that.

Mail program corrupted with Mavericks

Upgraded to Mavericks and my email corrupted. How do I reinstall?

Unclear whether Mavericks was at fault, but this is how I resolved my problem:
Revert to OS X 10.8 using Time Machine.
Exported all "On My Mac" mailboxes to external drive
Did CLEAN INSTALL of Mavericks
Before opening Mail, dragged Library/Containers/com.apple.mail and Library/Mail to desktop
Opened System Preferences/Internet Accounts and DE-activated mail in all accounts.
Opened Mail and set up all mail accounts.
Imported all 'On My Mac" mailboxes from external drive back into Mail, (and renamed as necessary.)
After confirming Mail running properly, deleted Library/Containers/com.apple.mail and Library/Mail from desktop
Took a lot of trial and error, but all steps were required in my case.

how do you treat program running in parallel in this situation.
what i mean is that if the same program is doing an open dataset and treating the same file in al11. Then inconsistencies may occur

I too faced a similar situation and this is what I implemented.
Whenever your programs starts processing a particular AL11 File, Create a New Flag File in the Same Directory.
Say if my file name is usr\bin\ABC.DAT, before OPEN DATASET command on this file, I would create a new file usr\bin\ABC.DAT.FLAG!!!.
After the processing ABC.DAT is done, I delete the Flag File.
In the mean time, If some other program, (or for that matter the same program) executes in a different session and tries to open the same file, we can check for the existence of the FLAG FILE.
So the code is as follows.
CHECK for the Existence of FLAG FILE.
If FLAG FILE Exists, STOP. " another session is processing it.
ELSE.
CREATE FLAG FILE.
OPEN DATASET, and rest others.
CLOSE DATASET.
ENDIF.

Regarding parallel therads for a program.

I have a program which runs at the end of a request set. while running there is this insert statement which should have 8 parallel threads since parallel hint is used. but while running it shows single thread and it takes 3 to 4 hrs to complete. if I run this program separately then I get 8 parallel threads and the program complete in 25 mins. there are no other programs running in parallel in the request set.

A possible problem with parallel operation?

Hello everyone,
         I am working on a labview program that uses parallel execution, and I am running into a possible problem. Please bear with me, as sometimes it is difficult to explain things happening in Labview in text alone. This application reads data from a server that we have in one of our labs via an ActiveX component. This server is known as a TIU server. The server contains various data including part numbers, serial numbers etc. It sends this data out in three different signals. A sequence count, an ASCII high, and an ASCII low. The sequence counter sends data in the following manner. When the sequence count is 0 and both ASCII high and low are NULL, then a new part number sequence is about to begin. When the count sequence changes to "1", then the next two string charaters listed under ASCII high and ASCII low represent a number that is a "Function ID". There are several of these, and each function ID contains different information either a part number, a serial number, etc. Once this is read, and it is determined that you are looking at the correct Function ID, the next Count shows how many charaters are to follow, and then you read each set of two ASCII characters and concatenate them together until you build the entire ASCII sequence as one variable and the sequence is complete.
       There are several equipment cards attached to this TIU server, and each card is free wheeling it's data out. As soon as power is applied, it will continue to send out all of its function ID's sequentially (Function ID 0-9) in order, in a circular fashion at a 1 Hz. rate. A really strange system to be sure, but it is a limitation that I have to deal with. So now that I have laid a bit of the background on this, here is the problem. Occasionally, (maybe one out of 20 trys), the data seems to get slightly corrupted. For example, in the enclosed code, I ran it 40 times, reading the same part number each time. In theory, it should always be the same result. But it is not. I am wondering if there is an issue with running the "READ TIU SERVER.vi" in PreAllocated clone reentrant execution mode? Perhaps on occasion, one of the instances does not fully close, before another instance begins, and a few bits get flipped around? I suppose it is possible that occasionally the TIU server is actually putting out erroneous data (and I am actually reading everything perfectly), but it is a fairly mature system, and I have not gone down that path yet. I have included the .vi that I am using to read the server data "test.vi", and the "Read TIU Server.vi" that is set to Preallocated clone reentrant execution. In this example, the "test.vi" is only a single instance, but in the actual program, I am running 20-30 of these, as Preallocated clone reentrant execution as well. As there are 20-30 cards on each TIU server to get information from. I am hoping that this makes sense, and that I have laid it out in a logical fashion. Sort of hard to explain in text sometimes.       Thanks for taking a look. You caught me on the shift register, I had not gotten around to cleaning up a few things. However the "elapsed time" functions acutally are there on purpose. Unfortunately, it takes a VERY long time to get one of those part numbers, as only two ASCII characters are moved accross the bus at a 1 Hz. rate. I orginally had all wait statements, but I discovered that when you stop a while loop, it will continue until the wait timer has expired. With 20+ of these functions in parallel, it was taking upwards of 30 seconds for the program to finally end. From what I was reading on the forums of others that had that problem, a "elapsed time" function can be broken through, while a standard "wait" statement cannot. Now when I press the "STOP" button, the program ends almost immediately.
     This is not a standard piece of equipment that I am using, but I think the explanation is of how it works is fairly accurate. Would you have a guess as to why every so often the data gets corrupted? Other than the bus itself is actually putting wrong data out there? I suppose I should check that as well, but due to the slow rate of the bus, and the tools that we have, I will have to sit and watch it for a long time... Thanks...

AAM gives error code A12E5

Running windows 7
Creative suite CS6 is already installed.
Just subscribed to creative cloud, on clicking on "download" on DW i was told I had to update my AAM. So I clicked through the links and downloaded to desktop and "run as Administrator". It seems to start updtaing and installing but about half way through it throws up the error "Sorry there seems to be a problem with the download process (Error code: A12E5)
I've tried this seveal times and restarted the PC but all to no avail. I have also tried uninstalling CS6 but that fails and throws up an error message "
Exit Code: 33
Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW040 ...

Hi Jeff,
Firstly the cleaner tool said that I had to uninstall CS6 first. Because my installation of AAM was corrupted I couldn't do that. So I re-installed Creative Suite CS6 and tried agin thinking that would cure the AAM problem. I still couldn't download any creative cloud product but it did allow me to uninstll CS6. After that I run the CS Cleaner Tool. I then attempted to download the Creative cloud products but again the AAM failed with the same error.
So I have spent the day doing a clean new install of Window 7. I've installed Microsft Office 2007 and Microsoft Security Essentials and that's all. I went to creative Cloud and downloaded the new AAM sucessfully and successfully installed and run it. I get all the programs listed and so I clicked on install next to Dreamweaver CS6. It downloaded, extracted OK but the install stalls at 9%. I tried Fireworks and that downloaded but did not install at all.
Following another post I went trough the process of trying to download the trial of DW CS6 but as I had to log in it did not give me the choice of a "try" it just recognises that I am a member of CC and provides the usual download link.
Any ideas as this is beginning to wear me down a bit.

Program run in Netbeans but NOT running as jar file

i am writing program to access parallel port i put next files :
1. [ comm.jar + javax.comm.properties ] in
[ C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_18\lib ] and [ C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_18\jre\lib ]
2. [ win32com.dll ] in [ C:\WINDOWS\system32 ]
when i run application in NetBeans IDE 6.8 work fine and every think is ok
BUT when i produce jar file , generated jar file does not work [GUI appear but can not get ports on PC]
- I try to set Environment Variable as next :
CLASSPATH = .;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_18\lib\comm.jar
also does not work
any tip please ?

First of all, leave the lib and jre/lib directories of the JRE alone. Never ever touch them again. Remove any jars you have put there yourself, or better yet completely remove and reinstall the JRE to make sure you put it back in a correct state.
After you do that, learn how to properly work with the classpath in both the IDE and the command line.
Netbeans: you define the classpath by adding jars to the project (right click on the libraries node in the project tree to get the appropriate options).
Command line: this depends on if you run a single class, or you invoke an executable jar.
Single class: you use the -cp command line switch to define the classpath
Executable jar: the jar itself defines the classpath in its META-INF/manifest.mf file. The -cp command line switch is ignored.
Since you use Netbeans, you'll get an executable jar so make sure to learn how such a jar is structured.

Will I lose my programs updating from 10.5.8 to 10.6 OS?

I want to update from 10.5.8 to 10.6 OS on my MacBook Pro 2.5 GHz 2 GB 667 MHz. I have my personal docs backed up. Will I lose my programs such as Parallels, CS4, and Microsoft Office?

You shouldn't, but Verify the Hard Drive first, & also it might be pretty slow with only 2 GB of Memory.
Some Apps may not run though.

Using Ver. 8.0

I done this in the following way.
Encoder output is connected to PFI0 and CTR0_SOURCE.
AI is getting triggered by PFI0 and Counter Input is configured for Counter Edge.
Once this over this datas are logging into a file.
Problem is... as per the flow once i finished the loop i.e pulse count *0.144( which is the angle for each pulse, because i am using 2500PPR Encoder) reaches 70, pulse count will be 486 and the same time if you check the file , we wont have 486 datas in it, we will missing some 50-100 data on that.
this encoder movement is manual and speed varies always.
this missing data in file will happen only if the speed of encoder movement increased.
can we make this independent of speed ???
pls refer the attached file for program flow.
