AAMEE 3.1 Photoshop package - Installation not possible

Hi,
-successfully created a Photoshop CS6 package with AAMEE 3.1
-starting the Adobe Photoshop CS6.msi with msiexec /i c:\temp\Adobe Photoshop CS6.msi /qn is starting the msi/setup
-Photoshop is not installed
- msi directly started - same proplem
-Logfiles searched for errors - nor error found which tells me what's wrong
-Package 7times new created
-no idea what i can do now

The command which you are using is correct but the path which you have mentioned in the command have some space in the folder name. So would recoomend try to add double codes in the path like "c:\temp\Adobe Photoshop CS6.msi".
Here is the command which you can use to install the software silently. - msiexec /i "c:\temp\Adobe Photoshop CS6.msi" /qn
or you can change the directory first in the command prompt and then enter the command : msiexec /i "Photoshop CS6.msi" /qn

Hi - Recently I put the latest update on my LT15i (4.1.B.0.587), after this I rooted the phone, and everything seemed okay. But since then I keep getting an error message with an offer to download the 4.1.B.0.587 update and the note: "installation not possible" (because it's already there). The news line on top shows a red exclamation mark all the time. It seems to me that it is due to this error that I cannot partition my SD card. Does anybody have an idea how to fix that? Acrobat 9 (from CS4) asking for serial again after OS-upgrade to Yosemite. New installation not possible

Hi all, I feel quite desperate at the moment.
My old CS4 ran perfectly. Now I upgraded my system to Mac OS Yosemite and the trouble began.
First, Acrobat no longer ran properly and asked me to start e.g. Photoshop. What I did. Photoshop and all other CS4 applications no more worked beause of some license issues. I finally fixed this by means of Adobe's tool. I had to re-enter the CS4-Serial and Photoshop, Indesign etc. worked again. Not did Acrobat Pro 9. This application asked me to re-enter the serial. What I did. The serial was not accepted. I tried a thousand times. Then I uninstalled Acrobad Pro 9 and tried to re-install this application from the original CD. This does not work: The setup screen of my CS4 "Design Premium" stopped three times with the grey screen reading "Preparing to install". Other attempts ended up in error messages about JAVA etc. - The DVD simply does not work anymore with the new OS.
Can anyone tell me what to do? My search over Adobe's support pages never led me to a valid contact form or anything of use for this problem.

A point worth pointing out is that, although CS versions may have included installers for Acrobat they were not for direct use; often (who can remember CS4?) you MUST use the CS installer, which uses the Acrobat installer in a special way; CS licensing is not like Acrobat licensing and Acrobat does not take a CS number. Nevertheless, I'd still advise a restore and not upgrading your OS without being prepared to upgrade everything else. (And it's still very early, this is a very brave/risky thing even for CC licensees).

Dynamic Variable Package Installs (Not Applications)

My Apps install fine, but I'm not sure where to look to see if all my Packages are as I'm not finding much in the smsts.log.
I believe I have everything configured fine, as its similar to my applications OSD task just with a different base variable.
So for example:
Base variable = PACKAGES
Collection Variable:
PACKAGES001 - 1010007C:Unattended
That is the correct syntax I believe. So which log files can prove what is or isn't installing? I'm installing 9 packages before my 10 apps (apps install fine).

The global information about the different packages to be installed should be in the smsts.log file and the detailed installation information should be in the execmgr a.log file.

Update of Photoshop CS 5 not possible

Hi all,
after a new installation of my Photoshop CS 5, I start an upgrade which end with following mistake:
By download of these update there is a mistake. Shut the event and try it later again.
This I have done without result.

To do so, choose Help > Updates in Photoshop CS5 and apply all of the updates listed under Adobe Photoshop CS5 in the Adobe Application Manager."

Itunes Package Installer not Installing Apple Mobile Device Support

Okay, so I have unistalled iTunes, removed everything on my computer that apple told me to, then reinstalled iTunes. But I still get the same message when i plug in my iTouch, "This ipod cannot be used because the required software is not installed." Then it tells me to uninstall and then reinstall itunes; well i have done that literally over 10 times. All to the same result: no mobile device support. I called the 1-800 number for apple and was on the phone for over 2 hours and to find out they couldn't help right at that time because they had to investigate because they could not figure out why iTunes wasn't installing right. Believe me I've done everything possible. And on top of all this, my iTouch is being read as a digital camera. Oh and when i ran a diagnostic on iTunes, this is what it told me.

Adobe Installation not possible

I recently could not start Adobe Flash CC any more. Icon started bouncing the stopped and nothing happened.
After several attempts I removed Flash from my computer and tried to install a new copy.
Now the Installer won't work. It keeps saying 'Installer is being initiated' together with the blue bar. Once the bar reaches the full length it stays as is for a some 20 seconds and then the installer is gone. This happens with any version of Adobe Flash Installer I tried. CS6 to CC.
No clue what this is after using Mac now for 30 years.
Has anyone a clue how I could solve this issue?

Verify your current setup - OSX version etc.
What may have changed just prior to your travails? any software added, updated, upgraded?

Yosemite re-installation not possible!!!

My Mac crashed because of a driver installation.
My boot HD is not starting anymore. It just shows a grey crossed circle after 1 minute.
I tried to re-install it via recovery partition. That doesn't work. The installation got stuck.
I thought about a clean new installation and migration from my HD later on.
Then I tried to download Yosemite again! When I'm trying to do so I'm always getting:
We could not complete your purchase.
OS X v10.10 is already installed on this computer. Use the Updates page to install the 10.10 update or if you would like to download the full OS X installer click Continue.
“Learn more” “OK”
First there is no “Continue” and second there is no way to download it again.
Third - when you click on "Learn more" you will see a page: OS X Mavericks: System Requirements

Any help is much appreciated!!! I really need a new download to make a clean installation.

Installation not possible on company network!

Well as of right now I can not use Adobe CC.
Our firewalls are blocking something so my Cloud control panel is unable to connect.
I have asked our IT department if they can fix it so I can install creative cloud on my computer, but they refused and said we can't use it because it's a security risk with the external storage.
Obviously you can choose not to use it at a user level. But that is not good enough. It has to be controlled at a network/firewall level, because they can't risk it if it's up to individual users to control this.
I bought the subscription myself on behalf of my own department, it is not something I got through our IT department, and IT is currently not supporting it, so if I can't resolve this myself I have to cancel my subscription.
I have talked to Adobes support to find out if the creative cloud storage can be blocked on a network/firewall level without blocking the entire application. I was hoping to get some information I could bring forward to our IT department. After chatting with 3 different people in the online chat support, I was reffered to their technical support phone line in denmark because this was too technical for them.
The guy on the phone said it wasn't possible to block cloud filesync access without blocking the whole thing. Maybe he didn't understand it correctly or didn't have enough knowledge, but what can you do when you've tried all options with support?
I'm hoping someone else has information that suggests otherwise, and I would be more than happy to know so I can forward it to our IT department!
Otherwise I have to cancel my subscription and go back to CS5.5 (annyoyingly CS5.5 doesn't support my new canon 6D raw files)

Photoshop Elements 9 not possible to download from MAS

I bought the PHE 9 on the MAS last July, now I have a new Laptop and I want to restore all my purchases in my new laptop I was succeed with all of them but not with PHE 9, I can see the application in my purchases but when I try to download then wait for a while and then fail.
Do anybody know what is happening? is this related with currently in the MAS you only can find the PHE 10?

Usually when there is an upgrade, then the previous version of an app is no longer available. That is why Apple warns you to back up your downloads because apps can be removed from the MAS or only an upgrade may be available in the future. To upgrade to PE 10 you will need to buy it, as that is the only version available now.

You just needed to quit it ,
install and restart Sugarsync.

Trash the download and any bits it may have already installed, then download again. If you use any kind of AV software, disable it for the install.
EDIT but before doing that, just restart your computer and see if that helps.

Let's check your Windows system.
1. Have you done all the important windows updates and service Packs on your system. If not do it now. START button, type in Windows Update and ENTER. Select 'CHECK FOR UPDATES'
2. Let's check your Windows system files for possible file corruption
SCAN and repair possible Windows system file corruption:
Go to command prompt (START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES right mouse click "command prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator"
type in
sfc /scannow
let Windows fix any system files that need to be repaired.
Restart the computer if it did actually repair any files.
3. Check your system for possible Malware. But you have to do it in WIndows Safe Mode.

Is it possible to dowload an .exe / msi of Photoshop CC from another computer and using DVD / usbkey to transfert the file to his computer to make the installation ?
It's a critical problem...

Homogeneous System Copy - Installation of Database Instance not possible...

I try to create a SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SR3 Portal based on a homogeneous SAP System Copy. Therefore I already installed in a first step (first option within SAPINST for installing a target system of a system copy) the Central Services Instance successfully on a machine. In the next step I'd like to create the Database Instance with SAPINST but I cannot choose the DB instance that I already created based on a restore within the new DB server (MS SQL 2008 Cluster installation). I can only choose the local machine for using a DB instance but there is no MS SQL Server installed!
Do I have to start SAPINST on the DB server itself which is not possible/allowed (due to operating/organization reasons)?
Is there any SAPINST parameter which I have to use for telling SAPINST that the DB is located on a different server?!?
The documentation just says:
The target system is installed using the exports from the source system.
Choose the installation services exactly in the order they appear. For more information, see the MS SQL Server installation guide for your SAP system at http://service.sap.com/installnw70.
On the SAPinst screen SAP SystemDatabase make sure to select Homogeneous System Copy (MS SQL Server-specific: Detach/Attach or Backup).

OK, SAP Note 1076022 says:
SAP installation packages on SAP Service Marketplace
On March 27, 2008, SAP released the Netweaver installation package SR3, which supports SQL Server 2008 (R2). Note 1152240 discusses the details and lists some restrictions. Make sure you carefully read Note 1152240 and use a recent enough installation master DVD.
SAP Note 1152240 says:
If you want to perform a system copy of an SAP system that is based on SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SR3 on SQL Server 2008 (R2), you cannot use the Installation Master and Kernel DVD that you received from SAP or downloaded from SAP Service Marketplace (SMP). Instead, you have to do the following:
- Patch your runtime libraries as described in SAP note 684106
- Use a modified Installation Master DVD. For more information, see section "IV Creating a modified Installation Master DVD".
- Use a modified Kernel DVD. For more information about how to create a modified kernel DVD, see SAP note 1480785.
What problem is fixed by using the modified Installation Master DVD? Is it possible to install the DB part on a server apart of the local machine where SAPINST is run (my initial question/problem I want do resolve)?
