ABAP 7.01 Trial Version- No Business Tables( lfa1, ekko,ekpo,kna1 etc)

Hi,
I have installed the ABAP 7.01 trial version from sdn. I have the following queries:
1) There are no business tables like lfa1, ekko,ekpo etc within the ABAP dictionary. Can somebody please guide me how to get the tables. Please note that I didnt the max DB in the complete package. Do I need to install that for the tables.
2) There were 2 rar packages that were downloaded. Do we need to extract both of them and run the extract for both of them as both of the folders appeared to be the same to me.
3) Do we need an internet connection in order to start the SAP Management Console . I found that it doesnt turn green without plugging in the internet wire.
Please answer the above three queries so that I can be completed with my installation.

I tried installing ABAP 7.2 trial version in my laptop with Windows Vista Home Basic edition. The installation gives an error in the "Execute" step in Phase 18 "Perform MaxDB Post load activities". The following is the error.

the error is related to user creation:
Variable user(MadhuSharmila\nspadm) should be defined
Home Editions of Windows has some limitation in user management - for example, the snap-in of local users and group is not directly available in MMC. Probably the installation fails for this reason. You can create user nspadm manually if missing and retry the installation

Error during installation of SAPNW ABAP 701SR1 SP3 trial version in phase 2

Hi,
I am trying to install SAPNW ABAP 701 SP3 trial version.I am getting error in phase 2
Running msiexec failed with return code 1603: Fatal error during installation.
I am installing on window vista.I have also checked the security setting for the user I am trying to install.It is adminstrator and have access for full control.
When I started the installation of sap it asked me for master password and that password is different from what I use to log on to windows.Could this be the reason for this problem or something else ?

Unable to renew the SAP NetWeaver ABAP 7.02 Trial Version license

Greetings,
My license for SAP NetWeaver ABAP 7.02 Trial Version has expired and I was trying to renew the license the other day. I was able to install the new license but, unfortunately, I were not able to delete the old licence not activate the new one.
I logged on with user: SAP* to install the new license and it was installed successfully. When I do try to delete the old one the system gives this error message: " Only the administrator is allowed to delete licenses. When the valid system license has expired, only the user SAP* can log on to the system. in this case, it would be dangerous to delete a license.
This is why the user SAP* is never allowed to delete a license."
Anybody can assist me with the license renewal please ?!

SAP NetWeaver ABAP 7.02 Trial Version - CPRXRPM

Hello Experts,
I have installed the "SAP NetWeaver ABAP 7.02 Trial Version" from SDN downloads and as you know it comes with SAP_ABA, SAP_Basis, PI_Basis, SAP_BW components.
I still need CPRXRPM component. is it possible to add the CPRXRPM component to the above mentioned trail version?
Please advice, also have any one done this before?

I tried to download SAP NetWeaver ABAP 7.02 Trial Version but Iam getting a message
"Unfortunately there was a technical issue completing your download request. Please try again later."
I tried to download the same again after 8 hours but Iam receiving the same messge not only for ABAP 7.02 Trial Version but for all the SAP Main Releases.
Please help me resolve the issue!!!

You will see the various platform installables. This is the enterprise application.
No Business Objects X1-R2 and Crystal Reports X1-R2 are not Same. Crystal reports is a reporting tool and could be installed on your destop. However Business Objects X1-R2 is a server application and has some specifications to be installed.
Do you have any specific reason for trying out XIr2

How can i add FICO module to the SAP Netweaver ABAP 7.02 trial version

Dear Brothers
I am a new learner of SAP and interested in learning FICO. As part of that I installed SAP Netweaver ABAP trial version and after the installation I had problem in Logging in but it was solved lately. Now I face an other challenge which I may share with u guys. After logging in I wanna start with a new company code creation for FICO but I cant find the Enterprise Structure for in SAP Reference IMG. Only I see the following structure
SAP Customizing Implementation Guide
     Activate Business functions
     SAP Net weaver
     Cross-Application Components
     Financial Supply Chain Management
     Integration with Other my Sap.com components
I expanded the tree structure but could not find the Enterprise Structure> Definition> Financial Accounting--> Define Company
So is this because of missing FICO module if so how can I install that module for I can learn myself @ home. Kindly help me to fix this prob and hope to hear from the SAP experts around the world.

Steps to setting up BI in SAP Netweaver abap 7.0 trial version

I meet some difficulties to setting up BI in SAP Netweaver 7.0 trial version
I do those steps:
- loggin to client 000 with user DDIC pwd minisap
- Change client active to 001 with transaction SE16
- Enter table name RSADMINA
- Enter BW in the CUSTOMZID field and click Execute (press F8)
- Select the table row BW and click change (press F6)
- Enter 1 for the BWMANDT and click save
- Run SU01
- create new user NWUSER
- initial pwd for the NWUSER sap2009
- create grant (SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW)
- save
- log off on the system
- login to client 001 with new created user NWUSER
- I can't loggin --> name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)
Wich step i missed?

Hi all,
I arrived to active BI platform in sapnetweaver trial version 7.01, i follow this steps.
1/You need to login to 001 client as SAP* password minisap
2/Create your own user in SU01 transaction and log in with your own user.
3/Then run Administration workbench of BW (RSA1) and create and assign of logical system to your client,
4/replicate DataSources form its own BW system.
It's easy and simple.
Trial version had a limit, when i tried to create a transformation between a datasource an InfoObject i meet some trouble. Log message suggest to install frontend of sap netweaver to resolve this trouble.

Netweaver ABAP 7.01 trial version

Hi folks,
I am new to Netweaver and trying to install Netweaver ABAP 7.01 trail version on my laptop. I have downloaded SAPNW7.01ABAPTrial.part1.rar AND SAPNW7.01ABAPTrial.part12.rar. As per the instructions trying to extract part1 ra.r file, it is not responding. The files show up in an unrecogniszable format. Am I missing something here?
How can I correct it and install successfully?

Error during ABAP 7.01 trial version install on Vista - installation exited

im re-installing NSP trial version for the 5th time and get the error below. I followed all instructions:
- removed old installation folders
- removed th port numbers in services
- switched off AV and firewall
- removed entries from registry
- ran the regtool
- rebooted system
but still get the error below - can you please help

win vista enterprise SP1
intel dual core 2.8 GHz
RAM 2GB
100GB free space
32 bit os
im on a netwkr so no need for the loopback...

I a similar problem several times trying to get my AbapTrial version to work but then everything was successful as below:
i. windows command regedit ->software and delete the whole SAP folder
ii. at least disable the services (I had old SAP.. entries) (you did windows command sc delete)
iii. I had an NSP version and so deleted the whole of C:SAP folder and c:sapdb folder
iv. I went to windows software management and removed the trial version or went to Start->Programs and deleted the Trial version there.
v. In Start->Programs->MaxDB (or, once, in software management) I deleted all MaxDB entries.
As far as I remember everything was then removed.
The successful installation then was as follows:
I successfully downloaded from http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/nw-downloads and successfully ran the installation:
1) the download wasnt possible the first few times I tried - the download popup did not appear and I received a message with the word "scnsorry" instead. I just had to keep trying.
2) I downloaded the entry
"SAP NetWeaver 7.01 SR1 SP3 ABAP Developer Edition ".
Another entry, also offered for download, "SAP NetWeaver 7.01 - ABAP Trial Version " did not install and seemed to be in error. (Installed "successfully" in just 4 minutes and showed no MaxDB files in the unzipped folder).
3) I followed the instructions and the installation (some 27 steps) ran for 7 hours.
4) I am on a laptop with Windows Vista 6.0 Build 6002 SP2. (It is in German, not English, but this was not a problem, although it is sometimes mentioned that one should use an english-language OS).
5) After installation I could log on at once.
I recommend this way because it saves so much time.
What put me on the right path was a comment by Markus Doehr on In AbapTrial7.01 NSP the Dispatcher stops after 1:15 minutes.

Not able to access remotely to sap was abap sneak preview (trial version)

hi all
i have recently installed sap netweaver 2004s was abap sneak preview which is downloaded from sdn.sap.com. but the problem is i am able to access layout tab from server machine only, not from any other client machine. the layout tab shows that "page can't be displayed" mode of internet explorer. i am using explorer 6.0.
are there any security settings needed in either of the machines?

i have one doubt. r u accessing from client machune , or that trial version is installed on ur system it self.
if ur accessinf from client machine .. u need to do some settings in ur client machine so that it should not hit ur local browser .. where as it has to hit ur servers browser. in my problem.. my client machines are hitting my their own systems browsers . . plz let me know what that setting is

I started the installation from beginning. This is not an upgrade of system. Its my first time that I install this application.

How to Register as a Developer on SAP NetWeaver ABAP 7.02 Trial Version

Hi Everyone,
I was following a tutorial on ABAP and this centred on "Hello World" application. I got a message that I haven't been registered as a Developer on the system and that I need some code from OSS. I have tried checking here for any clues but it seemed none existed. Can't SAP be a bit more simplified like MS? It really requires lots of effort to get the right help and even at that, helps are not easily come by. I really which someone would point me in the right direction this time.

But is is pretty old. Only one option looks active - SAP NW 7.0 SP 12 for MaxDB.
