Hello,

I am having 5+ exp in SAP ABAP/HR ABAP and i am plannig for SAP ABAP certification. I searched on google and found different sereies of books. Can anybody help me to know what are the avaliable ABAP certification and books? So i can choose the right certification with correct course material.

SAP Press Books are very useful otherwise SAP Provide certification material if u enroll for some SAP Certified institue like Siemens, Genovate etc.. That one also gr8 help for SAP Certification examination.

I have 3 years of experience in SAP ABPA and i would like to write the ABAP c_taw12 exam. Can any body please let me know what is producer to apply? What are the exam criteria (mean experience)? Please provide me more detail information about the ABAP certification exam.

You can contact the education center nearest to ur location, they would guide you how to apply.
They generally ask for 1 year working expereince in the company from which u r applying, but its not mandatory. If u r company sponsred, then no such pre-requisites.
If u have 3 years exp in ABAP then clearing the certification wont be that tough, just follow the 5 books that SAP provides. The certification tests the conceptual knowledge of the candidate.

           I am very much interested to appear for the ABAP-Certification in the SAP-TECHED bangalore in 2009.
          I just want to prepare for the exam technically and theoritically.

Guidance on ABAP Certification

Hello Everyone,
I have a query regarding ABAP Certification and will be glad if anyone can help me out.
I am a I.T passout with one and half years in programming. I used VB 6 mostly and devoted last few months in .NET.
I have decent knowledge of OOP and its more theoritical than practical. I have developed programs in java but that was in uni few years ago.
Now I am planning to do SAP (ABAP) certification so I have enrolled in course provided by Siemens Information Systems. The course is 25 days and classes are 9 am - 6 pm. After the last day of the course is the certification. I did read about it and people said its not easy and so on.
I have 2 weeks prior to the course so if anyone can tell me what do i need to do so that when i am in course then I am at par with class and do not face any problem ??
I do have ABAP book and material with me. Should i study that now or study oops or what.
Guidance will be appreciated.

Hi,
I have one year of solid experience in ABAP and planning to go for "Development Consultant SAP NetWeaver 2004 Application Development Focus ABAP certification."
I don't want to join any training course but still would like to get the books required for it
i.e "Courses for certification preparation: TAW10 (ABAP Workbench Fundamentals); TAW12 (ABAP Workbench Concepts)".

I'm agree with Raja. Those materials is for course and you can have it only if you attend the course or you have a friend has attended it.
You can get exam contenent and buy some ABAP books.
You can also try to find the sample test questions in Internet.

It's best if you've done the relevant SAP courses and/or had sufficient experience covering the relevant topics. I don't think reading a book of tips & tricks will do it for you.
