ABAP F1 Help

HI Friends,
I am not getting the ABAP help anymore. When I press F1 at any ABAP keyword it brings up the help box with left and right pane and left pane filled with the tree but the right pane is always empty.

The Problem for not opening is: ABAP F1 Help can't be opened
Windows 7.0 Oprating Systems or new Windows Oprating Systems.
Delete the Windows 7.0 Oprating Systems software from Program Files(May be in C drive).
Restart (MUST)your System.
If needed install Windows Oprating Systems before 7.0 versions.
Restart (MUST)your System.
I Faced the same problem.
So make Sure your Widows OS is not after version 6.

As mentioned on the blog, this functionality was in place but has been 'disturbed' by the latest support packs. I have an OSS request in for this but only since yesterday. Once I get a satisfactory reply, I'll post it here and on my blog.

OO ABAP is nothing but a class-method apprach to write ABAP codes and define them : below are few of the informations which will be of help for a newbie :

Polymorphism
Public attributes
Public attributes are defined in the PUBLIC section and can be viewed and changed from outside the class. There is direct access to public attributes. As a general rule, as few public attributes should be defined as possible.
PUBLIC SECTION.
DATA: Counter type i.
Private attributes
Private attributes are defined in the PRIVATE section. The can only be viewes and changed from within the class. There is no direct access from outside the class.
PRIVATE SECTION.
DATA: name(25) TYPE c,
planetype LIKE saplane-planetyp,
Instance attributes
There exist one instance attribute for each instance of the class, thus they exist seperately for each object. Instance attributes are declared with the DATA keyword.
Static attributes
Static attributes exist only once for each class. The data are the same for all instances of the class, and can be used e.g. for instance counters. Static attributes are defined with the keyword CLASS-DATA.

CLASS-DATA: counter type i,

Private methods
Can only be called from inside the class. They are placed in the PRIVATE section of the class.
Constructor method
Implicitly, each class has an instance constructor method with the reserved name constructor and a static constructor method with the reserved name class_constructor.
The instance constructor is executed each time you create an object (instance) with the CREATE OBJECT statement, while the class constructor is executed exactly once before you first access a class.
The constructors are always present. However, to implement a constructor you must declare it explicitly with the METHODS or CLASS-METHODS statements. An instance constructor can have IMPORTING parameters and exceptions. You must pass all non-optional parameters when creating an object. Static constructors have no parameters.
Static constructor
The static constructor is always called CLASS_CONSTRUCTER, and is called autmatically before the clas is first accessed, that is before any of the following actions are executed:
Creating an instance using CREATE_OBJECT
Adressing a static attribute using <classname>-><attrbute>
Calling a ststic attribute using CALL METHOD
Registering a static event handler
Registering an evetm handler method for a static event
The static constructor cannot be called explicitly.
Protected components
When we are talking subclassing and enheritance there is one more component than Public and Private, the Protected component. Protected components can be used by the superclass and all of the subclasses. Note that Subclasses cannot access Private components.
Polymorphism
Polymorphism: When the same method is implemented differently in different classes. This can be done using enheritance, by redefining a method from the superclass in subclasses and implement it differently.

How to create an editable table in webdynpro for ABAP? Help!

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement where I have to create a webdynpro for ABAP table for new row/rows entry, delete row/rows and update row/rows data. This is something like table control in normal ABAP.
how can I achieve this? Is there any such feature in ALV component?
Any code sample will be really helpfull.

ABAP OO Help material needed?

hi guys
i am new to BI-7 and i could write start routines etc in BW3.5 but now in BI-7 everything is ABAP Object Oriented can some one tell me where to find some good site or file with syntaxes for basic statements. like Loop at, if than, and defining internal tables etc... in ABAP OO.
secondly is it true that u have to use ABAP OO for Satrt and End rt's but for the Characteristic Rt u can use old ABAP? thats weird if true.

Can anyone please me provide me ABAP code for the following case:
Table1 JHAGA
Table2 JHAGVZ
Primary keys in JHAGA:
Order Item Number [POS_NR]
Billing Dataset [GRUPPABRNR]
Sales Document Number [AVM_NR]
This requirement is for an InfoSet. For each order ideally we can have multiple sales agent. Sales Agent is being pulled from JHAGVZ. For this InfoSet we are going to go with assumption that we wont have more then 10 sales agent for an order,
Consider 10 extra fields in InfoSet SA1 SA10 for 10 Sales Agent.
I need code which to populate this sales agent field. If an order exists in JHAGA then for that order in JHAGVZ populate the SA1-SA10 field.
JHAGA Order#10
JHAGVZ Order#10 SalesAgent11
               SalesAgent12
               SalesAgent13
Then SA1 should have SalesAgent11, SA2 should have SalesAgent12 and SA3 should have SalesAgent13 and so on

if they are, you can write a select statement like :
select 0CUSTOMER 0SALESORG YLEG_ENTITY
       from INFOROBJECT
       into Y_CUST_LE
       where ( Yacc_SEQ <> ´ZROO´ and
               0PRICE_LIST <> space).

SAP HR IMG ABAP Error Help

Hi,
I am new to this site and I have a question. Recently, I had the "Vanilla SAP System" installed on a harddrive for my laptop. I am studying for the SAP HR Consultant Certification.
However, the system doesn't have the training DB and I have to start with implementing a project through the IMG. Yesterday, I received an error message (below) when I go to the application component sectin to add on Pers. Administration, Countries, etc).
Can anyone direct me to someone in Atlanta that may be able to take a look at this for me?
I was working on my computer and I get to a certain point in my customizing activity and I get this error msg:
Runtime errors RFCGUI_unexpected_data
The termination occurred in the ABAP program SAPMSSYO in %_CTL_OUTPUT
The main program was SAPLS_IMG_TOOL_5
The termination occurred in line 30 of the source code of the (Include) program <SYSINI> of the source code of program <SYSINI> (when calling the editor 300)
There is more to the error message and I would have to perform the activity to let the person see the message. Not unless they can tell what's wrong by the error above.

From you code i understand that I_T_TAB is the internal table that fetch data from the SAP table TAB.
So, the reason for the error statement is because of the Select statement.
The select statement is used to fetch data from SAP table TAB.
So your select statement should look like this...
SELECT SINGLE * FROM TAB INTO I_T_TAB
WHERE key = import_ PARAMETER
AND import_param_date BETWEEN from_date AND to_date.
IF sy-subrc = 0.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING i_t_tab TO export_rec.
ENDIF.
If you are trying to fetch data from the internal table I_T_TAB &
append the export parameter EXPORT_REC then you should use the READ statement.
READ TABLE i_t_tab WITH KEY key = import_ parameter
and import_param_date between from_date and to_date.
IF sy-subrc = 0.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING i_t_tab TO export_rec.
APPEND export_rec.
ENDIF.

Abap Code help in Extractor!!!

Hi all
I am not an abaper, I am using Bw 3.5; I need to write a code in "ZBSIS" and "ZBSAS" Extractor Include program ZXRSAU01: so that the report based on cube "ZBSISAS" shows values for field Transaction key "ZKTOSL".
The field "KTOSL" is not active in R/3 Directory and gets filled in program RFWERE00 in Tcode F.19 in R/3.
I have to use the same logic in extractor as used in that program.
The logic is:
FORM GET_'KTOSL USING IAMOUNT LIKE EXTRACT-DMBTR

You can use the following code in ZXRSAU01.
CASE i_datasource.
WHEN 'ZBSIS'.
DATA: g_wa_extractstructure LIKE <give the extractstructure of your datasource from RSA2>.
LOOP AT C_T_DATA into g_wa_extractstructure.
IF g_wa_extractstructure-DMBTR LT 0.
g_wa_extractstructure-ZKTOSL = 'GNB'
ELSE.
g_wa_extractstructure-ZKTOSL = 'BNG'
ENDIF.
MODIFY c_t_data FROM g_wa_extractstructure.
ENDLOOP.
ENDCASE.
Note:- . The same code can be used for ZBSAS. Please make sure to give the extract structure name in the field marked in <->.

Abap Code help in update rule

Hi Gurus,
I have a requiement, that is if there are 5 line items with in a document and each one has diffeerent tax jurisdiction code, then we should be showing only one tax jurisdiction code for a document. Line items are not displayed in report. The condition to pick up tax jurisdiction code is the one which has least ending zeros among all the lime items with in a document.
Supppose
Doc1 Item Tax Jurisdiction code
1800000002 1 CNQC00000000000
1800000002 2 CNQC00000000000
1800000002 3 CN0000000000000
1800000002 4 CNQC00000000000
1800000002 5 TXJOHNCLEBUR000
So here the value of Tax Jurisdiction code is TXJOHNCLEBUR000 as it has least ending zeros compared to other values with in a document.
Any help how to use the string function and acheive the desired result.

Thanks for the reply. we don't expect any non-zeros after seeing first zero. Now i have added another z object which will contain only least zeros for a doc. What I am doing is now after loading the data into the cube from ods i am doing loop back and updating the new z object. Below is the code I am trying to do
TABLES: /BIC/AZFGLO10100.
Defining an internal table as ods table****
Types: BEGIN OF ITAB_01,
doc_no LIKE /BIC/AZFGLO10100-AC_DOC_NO,
item_no LIKE /BIC/AZFGLO10100-ITEM_NUM,
taxjur LIKE /BIC/AZFGLO10100-TAXJURCODE,
length like num, ***** this will hold the length of the zeros
END OF ITAB_01.
loading the data from active ods table into defined internal table*****
select AC_DOC_NO ITEM_NUM TAXJURCODE from /BIC/AZFGLO10100 into table
Itab_01 where AC_DOC_NO = /BIC/AZFGLO10100-AC_DOC_NO and
item_num = /BIC/AZFGLO10100-ITEM_NUM.
sort itab_01 doc_no item_no
now I want to use code too populate the vlaue of length field in internal table (which shows how many zeros a tax jurisdiction code has for every corresponding line item)
then in the update rule of z tax jurisdiction i will wirte a routine such that
select taxjur into result from itab_01 where doc_no = COMM_STRUCTURE-doc_no and length = min(length).
now I have one more doubt , the number of items in a document will be varying so how to takecare of this...
If possible can you please provide me with the abap code that you have mentioned in earlier post.

ABAP Programing help regarding function modules coding

i'm currently creating a function module that retrieve a number from a table and add one to it and return back the value to the table.
the codes are as follow:
FUNCTION ZFM_NUMBER

UPDATE ZTAB_NUM SET ZNUMBER = ZENUMBER WHERE ZNUMBER = ZZNUMBER.
END FUNCTION.
this function module works finely, but now i need to concatenate the number with the year to store it into another table.
i know something about the sysdatum where i select only the first 4 characters...but i'm not sure how could i do that?
do i need to create another function module to call the above function module and concatenate it with the year?
or i just need to continue the codes in the same function module?
and how should i code it?
i'm very new to abap coding and i could'nt get help from anyone in my team. your help is very much appreciated!!!

hi you can do it in the same function module.
SELECT ZNUMBER FROM ZTAB_NUM into ZZNUMBER.
END SELECT.
instead of the above statement use the following statement, it improves performance of your program
SELECT single ZNUMBER FROM ZTAB_NUM into ZZNUMBER.
in the above statement you can also specify some where condition
ZENUMBER = ZZNUMBER + 1.
UPDATE ZTAB_NUM SET ZNUMBER = ZENUMBER WHERE ZNUMBER = ZZNUMBER.
data: var_date type sy-datum,
      var_yyyy(4) type c,
      var_numyear(10) type c.
var_date = sy-datum.
var_yyyy = var_date+0(4).
concatenate ZENUMBER var_yyyy into var_numyear.
UPDATE ZTAB_NUMyear SET ZNUMyear = var_numyear WHERE ZNUMBER = ZZNUMBER.
