ABAP import error

Hi Guys,
While import abap phase 36 jobs got finished, then suddenly my laptop got restarted after i launched sapinst again i got this error

Check the sapinst.log and SAPSSEXC_3.log.

Hi Samson,
Please check db2 is listening on port 5000 using the command
netstat -an | find 5000
If you find other service rather than db2 servicename then free up this port
Secondly check whether TCP/IP parameters are set correctly or not using db2 set all command
ensure following set
DB2COMM=TCPIP
svcename 50000
If not then set it using the command or modifying the windows envionment variable.
db2set DB2COMM=TCPIP
db2 update dbm cfg using svcename 50000
Also check in the /etc/drivers /services whether db2 tcp/ip port is mention as 5000
Finally ensure windows firewall is disabled to have these ports open.

Hello,
I have exactly the same issue as you have.
as I checked in the sybase database, actually the index SKAT~001 already exists.
if I run sql statement CREATE INDEX [SKAT~001] ON "SKAT" ("MANDT","SPRAS","MCOD1") with consumers = 3, via Toad or any other tools, it says the index already there.
So i think this error could be ignored, just set ok instead of err in file SAPAPPL0_17.TSK
I SKAT~001 C ok
and then retry to continue the installation steps, it works well.

Pls remove any spaces in names of Export Dir Dump Location e.g. SRM files make it SRM_files etc and restart the installation.

SAP Ecc6.0 Installation error during ABAP Import Phase 20 of 24

While I am installing SAP ECC 6.0 with Original DVD. I am getting some Issues.
I had finished upto 4 stpes . and after that IMPORT ABAP, showing error in " Log files are written to C: Program files:sapinst......"
Please Retry , View Log & Stop.
I am clicking Retry again it will be come same issue. Please Let me know.

Still I am getting same problem in mine SAP ECC6.0 Installation.
In Abap Instance Phase 20 of 24. Error in ABAP Instance. I check the mmc.
Disp+work is in Gray Color. Remainiing Server Green Color. After Few minutes it will stopped in Work Process.
Still Going Installation for same Process.

SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1 install on linux/oracle java error on ABAP IMPORT

Hello sdn experts, Im trying to install the Solution Manager 7.1 on linux/oracle, but It always stops at the abap import,
The error is in the Program "Migration Monitor", that exit with error.
Reviewing the logs, it seems that is trying to execute a java command line with a unrecognized option:
"Execution of the command "/opt/IBMJava2-amd64-142/bin/java -classpath migmon.jar -showversion -Xmx1024m com.sap.inst.migmon.imp.ImportMonitor -sapinst" finished with return code 1. Output:

Usage : java [-options] class...
As you can see, the sdk used is from IBM, and it works for all other saps we have here.
Is the wrong jdk? Which I should use if its wrong?
If is the right jdk, how could I get rid of this option and change it?

ECC 6.0 Installation error at ABAP Import Stage-- Phase 15 of 24

Dear all
I am trying to Install ECC 6.0 for our R&D Server and i have 240 GB HDD and 4 GB RAM. I have only one drive (C:\) and i know its a bad practice to install ECC on one drive but i have to do it. I cannot format it either.
The INstallation started and during ABAP Import stage ( it has 9 failed jobs), the installation gets stuck for almost 2 days. I try to install again but i get an error message which says:

Error in ABAP Import Phase - 3 jobs failed

Hi,
My installation of ECC IDES has failed in ABAP Import phase.
3 jobs has failed.
I figured out from the logs that there are 3 loads that has failed.
Failed loads are SAPPOOL, SAP0000 and SAPSLEXC.
The prominant error in them are as below. Please assist to relsove
these errors.

ABAP Import Phase DDL Statement Error

Hi Experts!
I am installing SAP Netweaver PI 7.3 EHP1 and encountered an error in the ABAP import phase.
I checked the import monitor logs and found a clue about SAPVIEW.log.
I have checked the SAPVIEW.log and found out the following:

Error with Ecc 6.0 install during Abap import of SAPView Package

Hi All,
I am getting error while installing SAP ECC 6.0 SR3 on Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2005.
all 98 of 99 ABAP imports ran well only at the last import the error was with the SAP View Package.

When i clicked on retry i get following additions in log
(DB) ERROR: db_connect rc = 256
(DB) ERROR: DbSlErrorMsg rc = 29
while debugging found that the Table from which it wants to create view does not exsist in database.
Can someone help me with this. I know its common error but most of the earlier threads are with Oracle database has someone faced this issue with Sql Server?

Hi,
This is not a comman error.Sometimes you have to install from the scrach if this error comes.Here the error comes in the last step in sapview creation phage but actual error may happen before this at some step between 1to 99.
Now do below things
First check that your database is up and running.
Then repeat the installation.
If error comes then open the sapinst.log and check what are the steps where the error comes.

ABAP Import Phase error during Install

Hi out there. I am installing an ERP system ECC 6.0 SR3 with just the AS ABAP and ECC components. It is now on the ABAP import phase and returns the error that certain ABAP objects are failing out of the 112 objects that is processing. Current examples are : -

I wish to know how else can 1 work around this ABAP import phase with errors such as these? Is there a manual procedure I can perform for this phase during installations so to avoid these errors that come up. And then re-run the install that goes past this?

Try increasing your shared pool size
login to database level
sqlplus "/as sysdba"
>show parameter shared_pool_size;
if the value is some thing aroung 150 to 200 MB increase it to 250MB
>alter sytem set shared_pool_size=250M scope=both;

IMPORT ABAP phase error when install database instance
Error number 207 error type SPECIFIC_CODE.
In phase "Import ABAP" the installation halts with error. Can anyone please tell me what error should I search for and (possibly) what is the solution?

It is not easy, really , it has taken many hours and at the End I got the problems,.
so I have decided to pay 20 $ every month, and I can get an access IDES to SAP, ERP, ABAP.
without any problem. In ABAP, I have only Sflight ,SBOOK etc. but MARA, and others tables, dont exist, .
I know, some students have not enough money, so what can we do? every one get problem with installaion and others after installaion, with server, 3 days work, and NSP becomes RED. Yellow, etc.
