hi,
I having 2 years of experience in ABAP and i want to have additional knowledge in some other area of sap such any functional module i.e MM.
Please provide me guidelines which career path should i follow?

I am having knowledge about MM Module :-
1.) How to create materials(fert,halb,zcon etc..)
2.) How to create customers and vendors.
3.) Migo,MB52,MB51,Stock clearing through MB1B
4.) MI10.
But i am not having the knowledge of configuring using IMG....
Plzz provide me guidelines so that i can have more grip on this module. i will follow the links specified by both of you .

EHP5 - Dump in WD ABAP form link in Portal
Hi Experts,
EHP5 has been upgraded in Portal.
Now whenever we are clicking any WD ABAP form link in Team Dashboard we are getting the following dump------
'An exception occurred that was caught'.
When we debugged the WD ABAP code we found the error in 'runtime->execute()' in the standard mehod 'Handle_Request()
in the standard class 'CL_WDR_CLIENT_ABSTRACT_HTTP' .
When EHP4 was there we were not getting such error but after the upgrdation of EHP5 we are getting this kind of dump.
Can you please provide the solution to resolve such kind of dump in EHP5?

AninditaDoes it crash when "arriving" at the method and trying to execute the implementation (bad parameters?) or does it crash with in the handle_request itself? If it crashes within the method, can you debug to the point where the dump actually occurs?

ABAP Mapping : Link to the repository
Hello,
I'm taking a look at PI Mapping with ABAP. In the documentation I find how I have to program the ABAP part, but I am missing the link with the messages defined in P.
I made a class 'ZA_CL_KCL_MAPPING' with interface IF_MAPPING in it.
I made the changes to the exchange profile, putting 'R3ABAP|ABAP-Class;R3XSLT|XSL (ABAP Engine)' in 'com.sap.aii.repository.mapping.additionaltypes'.
What is the step by step process to make my ABAP mapping really work ? Where do I put my missing link .

KrisTry giving this entry in Exchage Profile under IntegrationBuilder>IntegrationBuilder.Repository>com.sap.aii.repository.mapping.additionaltypes
R3_ABAP|Abapclass;R3_XSLT|XSL (ABAP Engine)
Close IR and Reopen. Now in interface mapping you can select the ABAP Mapping Type. Then give your abap class name there exactly what you defined in SE38.
Activate and test using Test tab of Interface Mapping. Use some sample payload of Source XML which you should be knowing.
Note:- Message Mapping is not required.

I am setting up SAP ESS EHP5 with EP 7.3. The overview page is working but nothing happens when clicking on the service links, and this info message is generated for each click:

Hi all - It is possible to make values in a column Hyperlink? I know that regular tables has an attribute (link to) but in ALV I don't see it. If is possible can you explain to me how to?

4. UserExits r used for adding additional functionality to the existing SAP standard transactions.Using UserExits we can add additional functionality standard SAP functionality without making any changes to the original code.BADI is a standardized interface for ABAP sources that enables partners and customers to enhance SAP-delivered programs in their namespace.

I was testing a developed object. There are two types of testing
- Negative testing
- Positive testing
In negative testing we will give negative data in input and we check any errors occurs.
In positive testing we will give positive data in input for checking errors.

We can create a internal table like 'bsgmcgcoll'. All the messages will go to internal table. We can get errors in this internal table.
Below messages are go to internal table. when you run the call transaction.

9) Among the Call Transaction and Session Method, which is faster?
Call transaction is faster then session method. But usually we use session method in real time...because we can transfer large amount of data from internal table to database and if any errors in a session. Process will not complete until session get correct.

ABAP/4 provides some interactive events on lists such as AT LINE-SELECTION (double click) or AT USER-COMMAND (pressing a button). You can use these events to move through layers of information about individual items in a list.
Drill down report is nothing but interactive report...drilldown means above paragraph only.

Hi,
Here I am having a requirement to get all the GR made against an Invoice.
Let me explain it.
I am having one Purchase order. Now I made the GR with a delivery note number. Now in MIRO I pass the bill or create the Invoice against the delivery note. Now I want to know the delivery note number against that invoice number.
I cant go by the Purchase order no and item number also. Because I have to show the delivery note number against that Invoice number only. Because so many Invoices and GR can be created for the same PO item.

I also need help on this issue. I have a PO with several GRN per item. Also, I already have some invoices registered ate MIGO.
On EKBE table, per PO, per item, i can check how many GRN I have (VGABE=1) and how many Invoices do I have (VGABE=2) regarding that item of the PO.
What I need to konw is how can I link the Invoice to the PO.
Example: EKBE table
PO ITEM VGABE Material DOC Number
A 10 1 100
A 10 1 200
A 10 2 300
I can I know, in terms of tables and fields linkage, to what GRN does Invoice 300 links to?
