ABAP prog - to Post IDOCs after checking status of BAPI?
Hi,
There are <b>IDOCs in status 64</b>(ready to transmitted to application) in ECC R/3 server. Now I need to post these IDOCs <b>only if the corresponding partner data exists</b>. I have a <b>BAPI</b> to check this condition. How do I achieve this ? Can we write a ABAP program ? Please suggest.
Thanks,
mk
Hi,
You don't need to write custom program to post the IDoc.
Perhaps you can submit/call standard program RBDAPP01 to post IDoc with status 64 after BAPI check when condition met.

Hi,
I am using an Idoc of type cond_a04 and message type cond_a in my abap program.I have filled the data into its control and data sections and tried to post it.After checking it in WE05 I got an error of status 56 saying that EDI partner profile not available.I am unable to understand this message.I have set up the partner profile through WE20 and have passed the same values to the control data section of the idoc. Please help me to resolve the issue.Hi,
Check the config in the WE20 partner profile creation, whether all the correct info was attached or not in Outbound/Inbound parameters i.e message Type etc.

IDoc Error IDocs showing the status 53 "Application Document Posted".
Hi All
IDocs showing the status 53 "Application Document Posted". But values are not updated in SAP.
Plaese sugggest on this,
Thanks
Ajit K BarikAjit, there might have been a dump--check in ST22 or a update termination error, check in SM13.
Either of these you'll have to take help of your ABAP consultant to analyse.

Idoc are posting to ECC with Status 64
Hi All,
We are receiving IDOC with status 64 from PI.
We used tried by changing the options in partner profiles
--> Trigger by Background program
The inbound IDoc is processed in the background. In this case, make sure, that the report RBDAPP01 is scheduled in the transaction SM37 as a regular job with the correct variant to process all IDoc´s, which have this processing option maintained.
--> Trigger immediately
When using this setting, it is important to have sufficient resources for the immediate processing of the inbound IDoc´s. One dialog work process must be available for every single IDoc.
If this dialog work process is not available, the IDoc cannot be processed and stays in status 64.
I reffered the notes
555229 ‘IDocs hang in status 64 for tRFC with immediate processing’
734576 ‘IDocs retain status 64, but should be processed immediately’
1055679 ‘IDoc-tRFC inbound with immediate processing may not work’
Still the idocs are in 64 status, every time im re-processing them manually. even after re-processing some of them are going to 51 or 54.
Please help me.
Regards
Bhargava KrishnaHello,
Can you please explain your issue is with "Trigger by Background program" or "Trigger immediately"?
For Trigger immediately, if there is no free dialog work process available than IDocs are posted with status 64.
For Trigger by Background program, Background job RBDAPP01 will process IDocs depending on variant you define to select & process IDocs(i.e., IDoc Status = 64).
It is always recommended to use "Trigger by Background program" for high volume interface which has large number of IDocs.

Post Operation Processing Initiated status after completion of approvals
Hi All,
I have implemented an approval work flow that has two levels of approvals. The two levels of approvals are completed successfully, but the status of the request is not changing to "Request Completed". The status of the request is showing as "Post Operation Processing Initiated".
Please let me know what needs to be done for the status of the request to be changed to "Request Completed".
Thanks in advance for your help.Check for any manual provisioning task assigned to system admin or any other user according to the configuration you have provided and complete it. "Post Operation Processing Initiated" status comes after operation level approval gets completed and some provisioning task is pending. If everything is completed check for Task to object status mapping and change it to Provisioned as suggested by Rajiv.
If you still could not find what is the reason then connect to OIM db and query OSI and ORC tables to check the task which is in pending status.

Hello All,
My requirement is related to process chain 1 . I have one process chain in that i have to put abap program in middle of that chain . This program will check the status of one another process chain 2 status ( whether it was completed or it is going on). if it is completed then continue the Process chain 1 to further activity else wait to complete Process chain 2 .
Here i have to use process chain 2 as a parameter.
Kindly provide me solution .
Regards
SaurabhHi Saurabh,
You need to create ABAP program in which you check the values for required process chain in
following table
RSPCLOGCHAIN (Feilds ANALYZED_STATUS LOG_ID)
Depend on values you can trigger next process or you can wait unitil this process chain complete.you need to check status from table using ABAP.
If you are not aware about how to write ABAP program then take help from ABAP Team.

IDoc created with status 03 checked via we02, but couldnt find in XI
Hi all:
Could you please do me a favor? implement a idoc to idoc issue. it has been created successfully .
as It is found that the idoc created with status of 03 -
data dispatched to port ok (rather than 12 dispatch ok). however, I couldn't find it via SXMB_MONI on XI, there must be something wrong . coudl you please give me a hint ?
Thank you very much!!!hi,
you need to check transaction SM58 (remove the user from it) and F8
it might be the reason that you didn't create a port in IDX1 on XI/PI
but you will see that in SM58

Getting FLBP to run after posting IDOC of type FINSTA01
Hi experts:
We are getting an EDI 820 feed from Chase of customer payments. That feed is taken by PI an an IDOC for each payment is created of type FINSTA01. After it processes we need the automatic matching program FLBP to run immediately after the status 53 of the IDOC to clear open invoices.
1) Is there a segment field I can populate in FINSTA01 to make this happen automatically - I didn' see one.
2) Is there a user exit where I can set a parameter to force the FLBP to take place at the end? If so, what user exit and what do I need to set?
3) If not, is there a user exit that occurs after the successful processing (status 53) of the IDOC, where I could call that transaction? I can't find one.
I really don't want to create a custom IDOC for this to tack that code on the end of the process. My fallback solution is to create a job to run FLBP but I can't tie it to the successful completion of a FINSTA01 IDOC.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

SC still visible in check status even after GR and Invoice
Hello all,
We are on SRM 4.0 SP 4.0.
Normally SCs for which GR and invoice has been done should not be visible in the SC check status application if you dont select the "Include completed shopping carts". TBut in some cases though we have selected the "Delivery Completed" indicator in backend PO but still there are some shopping carts still visible in check status application in SRM. The values for the GR and invoice should have status of "Fully confirmed".
For such shopping carts when i manually run the report BBP_GET_STATUS_2 it replicates the correct status and the SCs disappear from the SC check status application. The BBP_GET_STATUS_2 and the CLEAN_REQREQ_UP programs are scheduled every 5 mins.
Any hints or ideas will be much appreciated.
Best regards,
SambitHi Sambit,
In Check status, in extended search check whether the incuding completed shopping carts check box was checked or not.
If the check box was checked then even the completed shopping carts get displayed.
Please let me know if this is not the case.

Unable to create IDOCs after client copy
I'm unable to create IDOCs after a client copy. I receive a SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC or insert of duplicate rows ABAP dump.
Does anyone know what how to fix this. Thank you in advance.
Runtime Error SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC
Except. CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
Date and Time 22.10.2007 16:50:51
ShrtText
The ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert results in duplicate database records.
What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLEDI1" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
What can you do?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.
is especially useful if you want to keep a particular message.
Error analysis
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was
neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure
"F09_IDOC_INSERT_WITH_NUMBER" "(FORM)"
Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
to occur, the running program was terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
If you use an ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert to insert a record in
the database and that record already exists with the same key,
this results in a termination.
(With an ABAP/4 Open SQL single record insert in the same error
situation, processing does not terminate, but SY-SUBRC is set to 4.)
How to correct the error
Use an ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert only if you are sure that none of
the records passed already exists in the database.
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:
"SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC" CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DBC
"SAPLEDI1" or "LEDI1F09"
"F09_IDOC_INSERT_WITH_NUMBER"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
Save->Local File (unconverted)".
2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
"System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
supply the source code.
To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
or which actions and input led to the error.
The exception must either be prevented, caught within the procedure
"F09_IDOC_INSERT_WITH_NUMBER"
"(FORM)", or declared in the procedure's RAISING clause.
To prevent the exception, note the following:

What authorization required to post idoc from XI via RFC?
Hi all,
I need to post idoc to SAP R/3 system from XI. I have done all the steps correctly. While creating RFC in XI system to connect to the R/3 system, intially I gave my R/3 username and password and tested teh connection. Everything was working fine but when I actually ran the scenario, IDOC was not getting posted in the R/3. But there was no error anywhere.
fianlly after debugging I fould it might be the issue of authorization the the R/3 user i used in the RFC. I then assigned SAP_ALL authorization to my user and posted the iodc again and it started working fine.
Can anyone please tell me what are th exact authorizations/role i need to assign to the r/3 used to use it in RFC and successfully posting the idoc? I dont want to use SAP_ALL authorization in my production environemnt.
Please help.
Regards,
YashHi,
Even i had faced this problem. Whenever I tried to send IDOCs, i used to get an error in SM58, " No authorization to send IDOC of type DEBMDM".
When i got SAP_ALL it worked. However I raised a note with SAP asking for an alternative and this is the reply gave me.
You can get good information on this topic in your online help files.
The following is taken from the document "General Security Measures
(ALE)":
Use the transaction SALE to maintain the ALE configuration, to include setting up the distribution model and setting up ALE user authorizations and profiles. Note the following:
- Be restrictive when assigning the ALE authorizations.
The authorization profile B_ALE_ALL contains the following
authorization objects that are needed for ALE:
Authorizations for ALE
Authorization Description
B_ALE_CGRP ALE Customizing Distribution: Group Activities
B_ALE_LSYS ALE/EDI: Maintaining logical systems
B_ALE_MAST ALE/EDI: Distributing master data
B_ALE_MODL ALE/EDI: Maintaining customer distribution model
B_ALE_RECV ALE/EDI: Receiving IDocs via RFC
B_ALE_REDU ALE/EDI: Generating messages (ex. reduction)
S_PROGRAM ABAP: Program run checks
S_TABU_DIS Table Maintenance (using standard tools such as SM30)
Protect external users and passwords.
For example, for a non-SAP system to send IDocs to a SAP System using transactional RFC, it must also send a SAP user ID and password.
In most cases, the user and password are stored outside of the SAP System. Make sure that this information is not accessible to external systems or programs. (How you can do this is dependent on the system that you have; therefore, you need to refer to the documentation for the system where the information is stored.)
However, I feel assigining the profile S_IDOC_ALL should also be enough. Just try and see.

POS-DM, BIW & R/3 posting issue after BIW patch updation
Landscape details:
SAP IS-Retail (ECC 6.0), SAP POS (Triversity GM 9.5.10), PI 7.0, BIW/POS-DM 7.0
Issue Detail
We have upgraded the patch level of Support package BI_CONT in BIW from 5 to 11 in production server and after that following issues have started:
1. The duplicate posting started in R/3 i.e. if some POS EoD (TLog) file is already posted from POS-DM to R/3 and if the same file comes to POS-DM again then it gets posted in R/3 again. It was not happening before updating the patch, it used to get stop in POS-DM only.
2. We have some EANs which starts with ZERO, those POS transaction doesnu2019t get posted in BIW Cubes and R/3 wherein the ZERO prefix articles exists. It stuck in POS-DM with the error u201CUnknown EAN/UPC numberu201D. But this error comes only if we enable the u201CMstr Data Filteru201D check from General Setting in /N/POSDW/IMG. If we disable this check then the data gets posted in R/3 but it doesnu2019t go in RSA7 & BIW Cubes.
3. Before updating the patch the u201CMstr Data Filteru201D check was disabled and our posting was happening perfectly in R/3 as well BIW. What we understand is that, this check is required to pick the Article Code from masters with reference of EAN number which comes in POS TLog file and then it gets posted. We had written a ROUTINE in update rules to pick the Article Code from masters after truncating ZERO prefix from EAN, because the masters which we upload in R/3 with ZERO prefix EAN are getting updated in BIW without ZERO prefix.
4. In the T-Code /N/POSDW/MON0, we are not able to change the status of processed transaction from 4 (completed) to 1 (ready) or vice-a-versa. Earlier we were able to do the same. This is required to re-process the transactions after doing the corrections in errors occurred at the time of first processing.
Regards
Amar Preet SinghHi
1)Duplicate posting in R/3 : check the 'Tasks' configuration WPUUMS & WPUTAB in /N/POSDW/IMG in POSDM.
2) Write a Routine in BI side to allow EAN's with prefix Zeros
3) master data filter is used to check the data with BI master data. Master data filter should always be used while data posting.
4) The status should be first changed from completed to cancelled/rejected and then cancelled to Ready status.
Then you will be able to reprocess the posdm data to ISR.

Abhijit
