ABAP Test Cockpit

Hi,
I would like to use ABAP Test Cockpit. According to help.sap.com, .
The ATC is introduced with the following releases:
SAP NetWeaver 7.0 EHP2 Support Package 12
SAP NetWeaver 7.31 Support 5
SAP NetWeaver 7.32 initial release.
Our SAP NetWeaver on R3 system is 7.1 SP7. But I don't see this feature is on. And transaction code ATC does not exist either. Anyone know how to get it available?

WebDynpro for Abap Test failed (System Admin/Support/WD)

I'm using EP 7.0 and I'm trying to test travel&expenses (Ehp3) WD for Abap from System Admin/Support Desk: Integration of SAP Applications/WebDynpro and we get the following error: Exception in SAP Application Integrator occured: Unable to parse template...the problem occured at position 275. Cannot process expression <IView.PCDUnit.ShortID> because Unable to get PCD Unit com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.WebDynpro.
System contector test is ok. Please, could you help me?

Ok, I forget system connector and support tests. Web AS parameter are supposed to be ok:
Web AS Host Name: host.domain:port (from smicm tx)
Web AS Host Name: /sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/
Web AS Protocol: http
but the SAP Web AS Connection test fails. When trying to execute the iView it works. Does it mean that is it correct? Why WAS connection test fails?
In the other hand, when iView is displayed, it asks for user and password because the R/3 user is locked. Why R/3 user is locking everytime?

Solution Manager 7.0 Installation Error on Import ABAP -Test DB connection

I am installing Solution Manager 7.0. In Step 16 of 44 - Import ABAP, I encountered an error when the installer was testing the database connection. It failed at this command:

Am I getting it right that you installed the Web Application Server and the XI on the same machine? I read about the mandatory installation on two seperate machines but I hope that the installation on one machine is also possible when using the server for testing purposes.
What processor do you have? Do you think my Pentium 4 2.8 GHz processor will do it?

Will there ever be another downloadable ABAP Test Drive?

Unlike having to do a test-drive in the cloud, having a locally installed test drive system is much easier to administer, and is easier to access, especially if you are behind a firewall.
Will there ever be a testdrive (Linux or otherwise) of 7.40, specifically?

Only Apple could say and they never preannounce. But it would seem unlikely. iOS 3.1.3 is probably the last version that will run on the 1st-gen iPod touch.

Mark TODOs in ABAP code

Hi,
often I need to hardcode something in the code, so to test it fast and knowing that I will have to replace this after it is generally working.
In Java I used @TODO comments, so Eclipse would show them.
Does such thing exist in ABAP?
My other idea would be to produce by purpose somehow an ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit) violation with high priority, which should be easy to write and not alter the functionality of the code behind it.
So when I release my task, the check would complain

In the past I've done this by creating a check-point group in transaction SAAB and then adding a log-point (or assertion) in the code...

I can say you to work on performance use the extended program check , ABAP test cockpit (if configured ), and code inspector.
Try to learn the functional flow of the business process, it will help you in getting the indepth knowledge, and hence will maintain your interest.
Try to be thoroughly learn your development guidelines (standards ), that are specific to your company.

Syntax error in program "SAPLS38E "

I implemented all the SNOTE's as per the recommendation of RSECNOTE and included all the SNOTE in the same request and transported to Quality System , but the TR ended with warning .

ATC Exemptions Extractor - OPEN status only?

Hi Experts
Not sure if I'm missing the point on this one but the ATC Exemption extractor deletes all exemptions that aren't in OPEN status.
I'd like to report on the status of exemptions - especially those that have been approved. Here my 274 exemptions all get wiped out.

Hi Ian,
According to the help I found about the Quality report in ATC, it will only run against the OPEN exemptions.
