    Hi all
    I've read your entrys.
    Saw that the solution is missing.
    It can be found in the manuals:
    1. Download the "Registry Clean Tool for SAP NetWeaver 2004s ABAP" and use it.
    2. Download the latest Version of "SAP NetWeaver 2004s ABAP" and un-rar it.
    3. Install the "Microsoft Loopback Adapter" an activate it.
    4. Retry to install.
    Summary:
    So the error 200 was caused for the first time from trying an installation without a Loopback Adapter, and after that from trying to re-install without cleaning the registry.
    Now its working fine.

    Hello,
    I'm trying to install the "SAP NetWeaver 7.01 SR1 ABAP Trial Version" and during the phase2 I have the same error...
    1st question: does this installation is win7 compatible?
    If yes: can someone know a real solution to resolve this problem?
    My system config:
    Win7 (64bits) + java j2re1.4.2_07
    These Java version are already installed:
    - java 6 update 14 (64bits)
    - java 6 update 17
    Maybe the problem could come from these version 6 of Java because I saw that this SAP install is not compatible with 1.4.5 higher java version ?

  • ABAP Trial Installation Hanging at Configuring Login Information

    I have a Windows Server 2003 machine that I want to install the SAP NetWeaver Java and ABAP Trial versions on (yes the same machine).  I've downloaded everything I need and have successfully installed the Java version without a problem.
    Everything seems to be running perfectly.
    Now, when I try to install the ABAP version it gets passed creating the database with: "database NSP created successfully Tu, Jul 14, 2009 at 11:28:08"
    Now it's onto step "Configuring login information..." @ 52% and it's just sitting here - it's now 1:17 so it's been here for about 2 hours now with no progress movement.
    I tried looking for a logfile and I can't find one anywhere so I'm not sure what exactly the installer is doing.  How do I proceed to debug this to find out where the hang up is?

    I killed the kernel.exe process hosted the NSP database to force the installation to fail.
    It looks like it's having problems with changing passwords?!  I am using the same exact password for the J2E instance as this NSP instance (the password is similar to:  Dhgy123#).  I did read that "@" symbols were a problem - perhaps "!" is as well?!

  • SAPNW7 Abap Trial installation problem

    Hi all,
         I'm trying to install the SAPNW7 Abap Trial SP12, the installation ends correctly but it skips the MaxDB installation step... so I've the application server installed, not the DB.
    Any idea ?

  • SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version ***ERROR***

    Am having this issue with the trial Version, did any body EVER! get this solved? After downloading the version and everything seems to be working last step is to log on into SAPgui then comes this message! have waisted hour trying to fix this!
    When I log on SAP then following error occurs.
    "Partner '127.0.0.1:sapdp00 not reached
    WSAECONNREFUSED: Connection refused"
    Another problem is when ever i start the Console manager this one pop again!!!
    disp+work error.....I got this first when i was downloading the trial version, and windows will shut down, I ignore the warning, with the hope that the download was successful.
    Can anybody help? FULL POINT will be awarded.
    LASTLY IS THIS TRIAL VERSION FOR REAL OR GIMMICK! (Hoax) it seems a lot of pple are having issues with the Log on thing.

    I had a similar trouble during SAP NW Trial installation process. I solve it reinstalling the software a few times.
    I will advise you:
    1. Uninstall SAP NW 7.0 from your pc, including intallation folder named C:\sapdb. Try reinstalling it after reboot your pc.
    2. Verify the existence of this entries in your C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\services file:
    sql6          7210/tcp
    sapdbni72          7269/tcp
    sapmsNSP     3600/tcp
    sapdp00  3200/tcp
    sapgw00  3300/tcp
    sql30           7200/tcp # SAP DB
    vmake           7792/tcp # SAP DB

    3. Deactivate your antivirus software before you star the installation process.
    4. As far as possible not using the SAP GUI included with trial. Try this link [ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sapgui/win/710/compilation2/]
    The trial works fine, but have a little installation problems. Be patient.

    Due to a timing problem it is possible that an installation error  ' Expected service (SAPNSP_00) is not currently running... error code = 601 , services failed to start ' occurs. In that case there remain some entries in the registry that don't allow a further installation. With the <a href="http://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/softwaredownload?download=/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/business_packages/a1-8-4/nw/regcleantools.rar">clean-up tool</a> you can remove all entries from the registry that are made by the installation of the NSP system. Have a look at the ReadMe.txt for detailed instructions. After removing the entries from the registry start the installation one more time and leave the PC without running any further application.
    The clean up requires the RFC library on the PC which is automatically installed if the SAP GUI is installed (which is recommended anyway).

    Upon inspection of the previous .TSK files, i found that it contained a list of Tables to be created: the REPOSRC.TSK.bck was a continuation of the same list. Hence the installation uses/used both to see where it had stopped.
    I found a sapnote 455195 (last paragraph) which advises that i run R3load with the -merge option, but how can i do that during the installation process?

    I did these steps and was able to reinstall without any problems.
    1. Run registry clean tool that came with the packaged software
         \Additional_Tools\RegCleanTool
    2. Then run Uninstall - System/Standalone Engine/Optional Standadlon ......
         This is under the Software Life-Cycle Options-Uninstall
    3. Check if there are any files located in
         \Program Files\sapinst_instdir     -
         delete this directory
         \Documents and Settins\{user}\Local settings\Temp    -
       delete any references to SAP
    The above steps helped me to reinstall the Trial software. 
    Make sure that the system for the install meet the following requirements:
    u2022     Operating System: Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 2) or Windows Server 2003 or Windows Vista
    u2022     Hostname must not exceed 13 characters
    u2022     NTFS-File system
    u2022     Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher or Firefox 1.0 or higher
    u2022     At least 1 GB RAM (2-4 GB recommended)
    u2022     Pagefile size according to your RAM settings.
    u2022     Intel Pentium III/1.1 GHz or higher (or compatible)
    u2022     30 GB hard disk space temporary during installation - 24 GB permanent
            The actual hard disk space required is more than 32GB.  It is best to install the SAP directory on a separate drive if possible. Othewise you have to make sure that the drive where you install SAP has sufficient space for you system and the SAP install.
    u2022     High-resolution monitor (1024x768 or higher, 256 colors)
    u2022     Make sure that no other SAP system is installed on your computer
    u2022     The SAP system requires several ports for communication services. Therefore the file %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\services must not include an entry for the ports 3200, 3600, 3900 and 8000. A possible entry can be excluded by using the hash symbol (#). (Note: The entry sapmsNSP 3600 for dialog instances may not exist, as it is set to 0 in Trial versions).
    u2022     If no DHCP server is available on your network (which dynamically determines the IP address) or your computer is not connected to any network, you need to install the virtual interface adapter MS Loopback Adapter.

       1.7GB RAM
       20GB System Drive
       40GB Data drive (SAP installed here)

    try using a password containing only 5 characters (e.g. "sap05") - this solved the 601 error on all my test systems - even on 64Bit OS.

    To be honest I don't think that this is really the reason. This specific 601 error is a timing error. The SAPNSP service is started asynchronously and several steps later this running service is required to continue the (internally pretty complex) installation.
    Sometimes the time gap is not sufficient to start the service completely.

  • Plz help Photoshop CS4 trial installation error

    Yesterday i downloaded Adobe Photoshop CS4 Trial from adobe's official website. it took about 2 hours on 1MBPS DSL. it was 814 mb 7z file and anoth extractor when i tried to extract the 7z file with adobe extractor it went fine but at 100% an error occured (see the screen shot). Now when i go to folder where the setup files has been extracted and open the setup file. nothing happens no file is opened even after many retries. plz help me.
