Ability to jump to a specific page of results (rather than next 10, next 10

Hi,
Currently we are able to show 10 records on screen at a time in the Search Results table. If we want to see the next 10 Records then there is a dropdown and on it we need to select the *"more"*. Then next ten records will be displayed.
But now we dont need the *"more"* in the dropdown. We need to show 1-10 ,11-20, 21-30, 31-40....Or else we need to display the page numbers same like in Google or our forums search results page.

Hi Reetesh,
Thanks for Reply.
But we have 300 results in the table and we do not have the option of showing 0-10,10-20,20-30,30-40..
Simply it is showing 0-10, more. If we select more then it shows 10-20. we cannot jump to the required range (ex:30-40).
Quick response appreciated.
Best Regards,

  • How to jump to a specific page of pdf document in preview?

How can you jump to a specific page of a large PDF document without having to continuously scroll down on the thumbnail sidebar?
    Thanks.

I assume you are using Preview. If the PDF was created with an indexed table of contents, then choose View > Table of Contents. This will display the ToC in the sidebar, and you can click whatever section or page you want to go to. (There is also a button in the Toolbar to display or hide the sidebar.) If the document does not have a table of contents, or if you just want to go to a known page number, then Go > Go to Page….

  • Jumping to a specific page in PDF on Safari

Is there a way to jump to a specific pafe when reading a PDF document in Safari?

If you have the clip loaded in the Viewer window and the Viewer window highlighted, it will take you to that point in the clip, if you have the Timeline highlighted, it will take you to that point in the Timeline. You can also save a few keystrokes by just hitting "3.37." to skip to 3 minutes and 37 seconds, for example.

  • Jumping to a specific page in a Paginated Report

    Good Day Folks,
I've created a Report from an SQL query. The report is paginated (5) records/page. On the report one of the fields is a link to a form to edit the record. On the editing form I have the usual Update button which saves the record and returns to the report.
The problem is if I'm editing a record from page 3 of the report and update the record, I'm returned back to page 1 on the report. After editing a record on page 3, I need to return to page 3 of the report.
Any ideas on how to do this ?
    Thanks in advance.
    /Serge

  • When I print my indesign doc, it prints/views as two pages per sheet rather than one....

AWESOME!!!!!!  Thank you VERY much!  I spent WAY too much time trying to figure that out, and all I had to do was come to you guys...  Unreal!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  • Firefox 3.6.16 on a imac using 10.5.8 is not tracking properly through back button steps. Defaults to open page on site rather than previous page viewed. Odd and frustrating. What to do?

I've noticed over the past few days that my back button is no longer consistently moving between the most recent pages viewed and is instead reverting to the opening page of a weblink. Very frustrating once you've trekked a way into a site to hit back thinking you will back up one link and you end up at the front door. I did not crash. I did not do anything other than normal automated software upgrades and I'm told by the automated system that I am using the most current version available for my computer. Seems related to a recent update but I'm not sure. I'm not a computer geek. I use the computer for work and pleasure but this seems like a pretty basic tool that is failing to function as expected. Glitch perhaps?

  • Can Aperture export to a PAGE on Facebook, rather than personal album?

I've download the Export to Facebook plugin for Aperture, and it works...most of the time. But one thing I can't seem to do is export my Aperture photos into the albums on my Mark Knowler Photography Facebook PAGE. I can only do it to my own personal photo album under my own name. Just wondering if anyone has tried the same thing or has any ideas?

This may not be possible using the Facebook API. Another plug-in developer says:
Note: the Facebook API currently allows only uploading to personal pages, and does not allow uploading photos to business pages, and as such, your business-page galleries will not show up
If the developer tells you they can't, they may be right, there may be nothing they or Apple can do.
(as if Facebook didn't mangle photos enough already)
If it turns out that way, the place to aim complaints is Facebook photos feedback:

how do I change it back so that the script to email a webpage from Apple Mail fires, rather than gmail loading within the browser?
    be gone foul, Google script

This posting maybe helpful. Granted, it's showing you how to enable the feature. But you should be able to figure out how to disable it by just doing the complete opposite in steps.

  • How do I go to a specific page in full-screen mode?

I've been using page for almost 3 months now and always jumped to the top of the document and clicked on my TOC entry to get to the start of whatever chapter I wanted to write or edit. Today, I decided it would be faster to just use Cmd-G, like I would have in MS Word, to jump to a specifc page. I was shocked to discover that that repeated my last search. Is there any way to jump to a specific page without leaving full-screen mode and navigating by the page tumbs? Right now, I tend to rewrite entire chapters, so I have less need to go to specific pages, but that will change later on. Ideally, I'd like to be able to jump from section to section, too.

Oddly, I never moved the cursor left to see the pages while in fullscreen mode. It's not as fast as a Cmd-[x]-[#] shortcut, but will work for my purposes.
    Thanks

  • Is there any way to jump to a specific point in a long page?

I'm trying (and failing) to find a way to create a navigation bar at the top of a long page that will allow you to jump to certain sections of that long page. I've tried using relative navto:// links, and hyperlinking to text anchor points, but nothing I try seems to work. Can anybody help? Is this even possible?

In Smooth Scrolling articles, you can use decimals or percentages to jump to a specific position.
Example: navto://myarticle#3.3 (jumps to a specific position in smooth scrolling article that displays the bottom of page 4 and the top of page 5)
Example: navto://myarticle#50% (jumps to the middle of smooth scrolling article)

  • How to open  a tiff file on a specific page?

    Hi,
I would like to open a tif file in internet explorer at a specific page.
My tif file gets 3 pages.
I succeed in opening it in internet explorer at the first page by just cliking on this link:
But i would like to open the tif file directly at its second page.
Does someone know how to do that?
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Nicolas

I'm not aware of a browser that supports TIF, so it's gotta be a plugin or helper app displaying it. It would certainly be a function of the plugin or helper app. If you were using the TIF embedded in a file with the object or embed tag to call a plugin, then I think it more likely there'd be some parameter (if it supports multi-page TIFs) to specify the page to jump to. But I think it unlikely that it would actually read a query string parameter, as I had suggested. No that it couldn't, just that I don't think it likely.
But definitely, it's dependant on the viewer app/plugin. The problem is if you put this on a site and other users go to it, and you can't somehow explicitly specify which app they use to display the image, it could be any app/plugin: Quicktime or any of a dozen other image viewers that support TIF, and they may all work differently with regards to multi-page TIF support and displaying a particular page.

  • InDesign Link to specific page in a .pdf file

I have an article index that I keep in InDesign.  Each item in the index points to a specific page in a separate .pdf file.  Is there a way, in InDesign, to create a link that will open the .pdf file to a specific page?  The InDesign file contains buttons and is exported to an interactive .pdf file.  For example, I may have an article from volume one, page two.  In the interactive index, I would like the user to be able to click on this link and open newsletter volume one and jump to page two.  I have never found a way to do this in InDesign and currently have to create the text portion of the index in InDesign, export it to an interactive .pdf file and then create all of the links directly in Acrobat Professional.  This is very time consuming because whenever I need to update the index, I need to re-export to a new interactive .pdf file and recreate ALL of the links in Acrobat.  There should be a way to do this in InDesign.

There SHOULD be a way, yes. But there is none. It's not about Indesign, it's the PDF and handling of action like "Open file".
I tried button actions like "Open file" in Indesign, but you only select the file name and path, nothing else.
If you do the same in Acrobat, by putting an action "Open file" for a hyperlink, it will be the same.
The only thing that works is to use an URL like http://www.yourdomain.com/yourfile.pdf#page=3, where #page=3 can do what you want. You could even place that URL in Indesign or Acrobat, but the PDF would a) open in a browser and b) the PDF reader will always pop up that requester before opening internet links and c) the file would have to be on the internet.
Perhaps Acrobat Javascript could do more here, but then you'd have to embed it somehow in Acrobat (I wouldn't know if Indesign can do that) and Javascript would have to be allowed for that PDF. Not a good choice.

  • Linking to specific page in pdf document

I'm trying to link to a specific page within a pdf document
    using the following syntax:
    https://uhaul.net/publications/publication.ashx?FileName=MB197.pdf#page=3
However, the pdf opens to the first page, instead of to page
3 (which is what I want). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

You can only do this if the attachment is a PDF file. Here are the help instructions that explain how to create a link in the main PDF document that jumps to the PDF attachment.

  • Custom search in a specific page

    Oracle 9iAS R2
    Hi,
I'm using custom seach portlets to provide teasers for the extended content placed in several content pages created in the same page group.
As an example, there are two distinct pages (ContentPageA and ContentPageB) containing several "News" items each. "News" is a custom item type similar to the "text" item type. Users that can enter content in on page are not suposed to include content in the other.
Then I place a custom search in the "Home" page customized to autoquery contents in "ContentPageA" and show only the last five items created. A link placed elsewhere provides access for the original page for users interested in complete content. The same is done for "ContentPageB".
My problem is that I want to specify the custom search to search exclusively in one page and not the other. I know I can use categories or perpectives to make the distinction of the content, but I cannot force users to choose the right attributes. As a result, a search for the last five items would bring the mixed items from each page, which is not desirable.
If autoquery is not in use, one can define the specific page for performing the search. How can I specify that in the autoquery mode???
    Thanks for the help.
    Joao

The ability to pre-select a page to search in is planned for a future release.
