Ability to View All Playlist Followers

Please note: This idea only applies to Spotify client version 0.8.8+
I will admit this is partly my idea, but it has also been pointed out many times on the "Horrible Update" summarized nicely by Premify here.
I would really like the ability to view all of my playlist followers and I am sure I am not the only one. What I am suggesting is a simple system, where you could press on the "# Followers" section of the playlist Window:
I would suggest it would either give you a drop down of all the followers or even better (in my opinion), a redirect to another page with all the followers on it similar to the Following/Followers tab in the Follow page of the client.
Please add your kudos and any comments here!

Amusing / annoying.  I really came to rely upon being able to browse through similar tasting playlists.  It was by far the most useful functionality I've found on spotify for exploring new musical avenues. Following users of users is almost useless - most of the best playlists I've come across are published by people with varying tastes and varying playlists, I could be traipsing through a majority of people who loved USERX's Anish Kapur list, when all I wanted was the 3/250 people who enjoyed the Kelly Clarkson list as much as I did. Following artists is just as bad - sure, I might find a user who follows that artist who also publishes a playlist which also has 10 OTHER matching artists out of my top 50, and from that they MIGHT have a playlist which heads in the same direction as the vibe I follow the artist for in the first place ..... but that is FAR FAR FAR more likely to happen if I'm exploring the tastes of people who subscribe to ALL of my top 50 artists, via the playlist they're following which has all of the top 50 artists on it. Before this functionality was removed, I was absolutely raving about following playlists, to all of my friends.  I threw a party and used a playlist I found by following a follower of another playlist I had found online. Then this morning I get back to work and bingo, I can't do it anymore. This is a great new feature which should be added asap pronto zippy.

  • Ability to View All Notes

Is there a way to view all notes related to various objects within one area? If so, how can this be accomplished?
I would like the ability to view all notes (accounts and opportunities) in one area, which are related to a specific Account instead of having to drill down to the opportunity note region. In addition, I'd like to set this up to be accessible to most users.
I would appreciate any assistance on how to set this up.
This happens to be a critical requirement for my client.
    Thanks in advance.

How do you go about creating a new view? Is it a drag and drop procedure? If not, will you please elaborate?

  • View all address book contacts?

I've used Outlook on my work PC for the last couple of years. One feature I like is the ability to view all contacts at once, in a grid view, when you click the Contacts button. Is there a Mac Mail plugin that would give me a similar view of my Address Book contacts? Thanks.

well you could print the address book to PDF. but that only give you a list in a grip. You wouldn't be able to edit the contacts. You could get entourage for the mac (Microsoft's version of outlook for the mac)

  • Group Policy to Allow Non-Administrative Users to View All User Processes in Task Manager

    Hi All:
Trying to get users with just Remote Services right (can remote in, no administrative permissions what-so-ever, to have the ability to view all processes by all users on the server.
I would like to do through group policy, however I cannot seem to find a policy doing just this. Any ideas?

    Hi,
Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
The connection permissions that are set in Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration also determine the actions that a given user can perform in Remote Desktop Services Manager. For example, a user must have at least the Remote Control special access permission
to remotely control a user session by using Remote Desktop Services Manager.
Please check below article for details.

In regards to viewing process on RDSH server, can view the process in process Tab in RDSH manager.

    Hi
There's no such option in my case.

  • How can I change view options for ALL playlists?

How can I change view options for ALL playlists? With one single click or trick?
I have a lot playlists and don't want to change every single one of them separatly.
Thanks for your help. (I use Windows 7)

There's no FAST way I know of, which is what I think you mean.
Only the painful SLOW way of one-by-one.
You could make a new playlist from the main library after you've set the columns up as you like.
Go to an existing playlist that doesn't have the columns you want, and select all.
RIght-click > Add to Playlist and send them to the new playlist.
That's still one-by-one and only works with static playlists, not smart ones.

  • Changing View Options for ALL Playlists together

This question has remained without simple answer in spite of being asked many times. I think that I have an answer, the procedure is the following:
    (1) Open the "source" iTunes Library
    (2) File/Library/Export Library…          Save the list of Playlists
    (3) Close the "source iTunes Library
    (4) Create a new "destination" iTunes folder
    (5) Import one (or more) song from a CD
    (6) Select Music on top of the LIBRARY window
    (7) View/View Options…                               Set the View Options as desired
    (8) File/Library/Import Library…          Import the list of Playlists saved in (2)
    (9) Remove the auxiliary song(s) introduced in (5)
In the "destination" iTunes folder, the View Options of ALL playlist are those set in (7), irrespective of what they were in the "source". This works using iTunes 10.5 on an Intel iMac runing OSX 10.6.8, and presumably also with other configurations.
Any simpler, faster, or less memory greedy solution?

I'm not sure about a PC, but with a Mac you hold down the Control key and click on the right-most column's title bar. A menu of columns shows up with your current columns having check marks beside them. Just check or un-check the ones you want. To resize a column, click on the thin vertical line that separates the columns' names. Your cursor should change to a two-way arrow when you move across the adjustment line - just like in a spread sheet. Just click on the line and drag its width to suit you.

  • Set cover flow view to all playlists

    Hello,
Does anyone know how I can choose a view, say cover flow in my playlists and apply this to all playlists with out having to go through each playlist?. I would also like to choose certain columns (e.g track number etc) and apply this to all of my 350 playlists.
Does anyone know if this is possible on iTunes 10.7. I have searched on Google and it used to be able to be done on older versions of iTunes but the option is not availible on this version.
    Thanks
    Tony

Thank you for you help in advance!
Don't know if I quite understand your suggestion. Maybe I'm not making myself clear as well..
I don't want to cut my videos, I want to be able to see the content of my videos (without playing it) right after the intro - so then I can identify and give their ID numbers quickly and easier.

  • How to have same view options on ALL playlists?

Maybe this is simple, but I've searched and cannot find an answer.  How can i make all my playlists show the same view options?  I want, for example, bit rate and sample rate shown on all playlists - but some have them and some don't.  I'd also like whatever options I choose to be in the same order left to right, and new playlists to default to my arrangement.  Thanks.

When you create a new playlist, it uses the view as shown in the main library.
    This script -> http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/ss.php?sp=assimilateviewoptions
will set playlists to match after they are created.

  • ITunes Show View Options - Display an option for all playlists in one go??

    Hi there
Ive got about 200 playlists and need to show the same option for each (BPM).
How can I tell iTunes to display the BPM in ALL playlists in one go?
I can't manually select it from
    View
    Show View Options
    Tick BPM
    Close Show View Options
on all 200 playlists, it would take far too long.
    Any help?
    Thanks

iTunes does not provide a way to do that.  When a playlist is first created, it inherits the "View" from how the Music library is set at that point in time.  From then on, changes to its View settings are independent of all other playlists.
There may be a script somewhere that helps.  Otherwise you have to do them one at a time.
It can however, be done with fewer clicks than you state.  Right-click any column header (preferably the one to the left of where you want BPM to show) and click the item "Beats Per Minute."

  • Want same list view for ALL playlists

Is there some way to make a preset -- or in some other way -- have ALL playlists with the SAME categories that are in the SAME positions in the list? (I can see that the list view is first determined when you create a playlist. For the ones already created, how do I change them so that all are identical to my preferred layout? Thanks!

I believe this should do the trick:
iTunes Preferences > General tab > Uncheck "Remember view setting for each source"

  • Changing view permanently for all playlists

    Howdy!
I'm going to ask this question again:
    How do I
    1. change the order of columns and the selection of columns in the playlist view;
    2. make the changes permanent
    3. have the changes include column resizing; and,
    4. make the changes effective for all playlists but only do it once?
I don't need to see some columns and want to see others, and I want to see the same columns each time I open a playlist -- any playlist -- and I don't want to be continually fiddling with the column headers and sizes.
Surely I can do that. I mean, this is an Apple product, right?

    Hello,
AFAIK, 4. cannot be done, but the first three should happen automatically.
Whatever you do to a playlist is supposed to stay that way.
To reorder columns, just drag and drop, to select which columns you see, right-click the column bar and select.
    Hope this helps.

Did you upgrade whatever product from Adobe was out of date yet?

  • Ability to view multiple files in ONE window

I can see here that this is not a new topic really but the thing with Acrobat 9 is so frustrating that it is just unbelievable.
    This is another pearl:
Acrobat 9 "lost" its predecessors ability to view multiple files in ONE window. After opening four only documents I cannot see anything on the screen because the toolbars on each individual window cover all necessary view and nothing is left for the actual document. And sometimes I need to open 20 documents!
    This is ABSOLUTE DISASTER!!!
I found some explanations from Adobe on the Web that are more than a year old.
I was sure that by now this unfortunate mishandling of that feature (apparently it was dropped out from A9 deliberately - WHO'S IDEA WAS THAT?) would be somehow restorable.
Would anyone happen to know if this feature can get restored to how it was working in A7 or 8 (without the need to uninstall A9 and install A8)?

No, it can't be restored, unless Adobe decides to change the way Acrobat works (which is possible, but not likely).
By the way, it was Microsoft's idea... Adobe were just following their example on this.
You can make a feature request here: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

No, it isn't. Pages 5 isn't compatible with Pages 4.3 as it is lacking more than 90 features that Pages 4 has. So when you open a Pages 4 document in Pages 5 only the simplest documents will look the same in Pages 5.
Pages 4 can't open Pages 5 documents at all!! You have to export back to Pages 09 as I said above.
You probably will be more happy if you just use Pages 4 (Pages 09). There are many threads in this forum that describes the lack of compatibility between the two versions. Pages 5 is in my view not Pages anymore.
If you don't desperately need Pages 5 for moving documents over iCloud to new iOs devices don't use it.
