Abode membership downgraded!

I would love to know why is my Adobe membership downgraded, I recently bought Creative Cloud, what is the connection...?

Thanks Ken, great to hear that my Creative Cloud will not be downgraded.
When I bought Creative Cloud, the sale person at Adobe failed to read that I wasn’t anymore in the Education sector (Already Retired from Université de Moncton), so I was led to buy the Education one.  And after I check again with the sale person, he proposed that I buy the other one.  I have attached the ‘’chat’’ I had with the sale person.  So I had pay for the Education one and the normal one, so I asked to be credited the Education one, and after that I received a notice from Adobe that my Creative Cloud membership would be downgraded after a month.
In reading the ‘’chat’’ you will see what happened.
From reading your message my account is ‘’OK’’, thanks for the notice.

  • Many problems and questions with CC and PS CC 2014. HELP!!!

I'm having way too many problems with this whole Creative Cloud system, and PS CC 2014 in particular.
The courtesy of a response from a qualified Adobe staff member would be greatly appreciated by this long-time loyal patron of Adobe products.
    1. When and why was my membership downgraded from Single App to Photographer?
I signed up to Single App CC almost a year ago, and am able to access Typekit, 20GB of cloud storage and all the other features of Individual App membership, but not Market Assets. When I attempt to download any CC Market Assets I get a message stating "Market Assets are a premium feature" and "is only available to paid Creative Cloud members".
I must still be subscribed to Single App because the subscription payment receipt I received a few weeks ago states: "We received payment for your Creative Cloud single-app membership for Photoshop (one-year) subscription, and your membership will renew on 30-July-2014 (PT)".
The CC website states that Market Assets are not included in the Individual "Photography" subscription level (which seems to be a relatively new category), but I am clearly paying for Single App membership as indicated on my receipt. However, when I check my account, I'm listed as a Photographer subscriber.
         What gives?
    2. Lightroom 5 is no longer listed as "Installed" in CC Apps window.
I installed Lightroom 5 at Adobe's invitation last fall. Every time there is a CC update, the CC App widow shows that Lightroom 5 is not installed. So, I reinstall it, and the App list behaves properly until the next "update", which de-installs the app again.
How do I keep Lightroom 5 installed?
    3. My Extensions are not accessible in PS CC 2014
I migrated my presets from PS CC to PS CC 2014, but the Extensions are still greyed out (Windows>Extensions). I updated Extension Manager and synced the desktop CC app, which downloaded some plug-ins to CC 2014, but not the Adobe Watermark extension (v2.2.3). Also, because Window>Extension is greyed out, I can't access AdobeExchange via CC 2014 to download any possible updates.
Why can't I access my extensions in PS CC 2004?
    4. CC Files wont stop syncing
I thought I'd try uploading something to Creative Cloud to see what this storage feature could offer me. CC has been attempting to sync my files for aver a day now, chewing up bandwidth and seriously slowing down my internet connection to other content-dense sites. How do I stop the syncing process? I can pause it, but not stop it. I only have one file (a jpg image) in my Creative Cloud Files, which has a green check mark, so I don't understand what is being synced and why. I toogle syncing off and on again, but all I get is the spinning wheel. I've now turned off syncing, so this feature is now of no use to me.
         What am I doing wrong?
    5. How do I make the previous version of PS CC the default PS app in Mac OS 10.8.5
How do I deactivate PS CC 2014 as the default PS app?
My workflow regularly includes the Oil Paint filter and Adobe Watermark extension to produce the images I am currently marketing. Therefore, I prefer to use PS CC v14.2.1, and not PS CC 2004, as my default PS app. Mac OS10.8.5 want to open all my RAW and PSD files in PS CC 2014. I change the "Open With" preference in the "Get Info" window to PS CC 14.2.1, but it immediately reverts to PS CC 2014.
I have several other issues with the latest CC platform, but lets see if I can get these ones solved before moving forward.
This whole Creative Cloud process is becoming very frustrating and overly time consuming, and seems to be much more complex than most users need or want (based on the comments and problems I read in this forum).  I like the ongoing bug-fixes and camera/lens support updates, but the whole multi-app, internet-dependent format has gotten out of control, producing more problems than solutions, at least for me. This 2014 update makes it impossible to follow the workflow I've developed over the past several years. PixelBender is complex and non-intuitive, and does not effectively replace the Oil Paint filter. My extensions don't work. And now, the CC app won't let me access all the features I think I'm paying for. It seem to me these recent "upgrades" are half-baked. I've now spent countless hours trying to fix the problems imposed by CC 2014.
These "Community Discussions" sometimes take days to produce any sort of assistance, helpful or otherwise, and Adobe does not have the decency to offer direct access to customer service personnel to solve these problems.

I too, have many of the same problems: constantly reminded to "Install" the apps I have already done so (and paid for); Market Assets asks for me to become a paid member (I am); Adobe Bridge is missing from the apps page. I have reinstalled CC several times. Frustrating is the kindest word I can say--I seem to spend more time reading the "help" and discussion boards rather than working on photos. Dear Adobe, wake up and give us some solutions here! I too, have been using Adobe PS for years and UGH! CC is a mess and truly a bad experience for me! I apologize to the user above (RGMeyer) I could not be helpful, rather I am only adding fuel to your frustration.

  • I would like to downgrade my CC membership from the full version to the Photographers version

I currently have the full CC membership, paying monthly. I am not using any of the other programs other than Lightroom & Photoshop so would like to downgrade to the Photographers version please. There seems to be no way of doing this in my account settings. How can I go about it please? I am based in the UK.

  • Downgrading a creative cloud membership

I currently have a subscription to the full creative cloud annual plan.  However as I rarely use anything other than Photoshop and could live without any of the other apps I believe I would be better with a single app subscription.
Is it possible to downgrade your membership, would I have to cancel the current plan and start a new single app one.  And will this incur a charge as I am on the annual plan with a year's commitment.

    Hi,
If your Creative cloud membership is over 30 days then there is a cancellation fee involved, please contact Adobe customer care support to check and discuss about the same.
You can check the details here: http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

  • Downgrading membership to newly announced for Photographers

I am a full member of Adobe CC with $50/month.
I only use Photoshop and Lightroom so I want to downgrade to new program for photographers.
How do I go about that?

    Hi Kvora711,
You can get the details from http://blogs.adobe.com/creativelayer/introducing-the-photoshop-photography-program/.
This URL has all the lateset updates since it has been annouced
This offer is only for customers with a standalone version of Photoshop/Photoshop Extended CS3-CS6, you need to have Photoshop CS3 - CS6 to qualify for the new Photography Program so you can only transition from a Photoshop CC subscription if you also have a prior version of Photoshop (CS3 - CS6).
This offer isn't available to education customers.

  • CC membership Upgrade - or is it a downgrade?

We've upgraded from single app premier month by month subscription to 1yr CC suite, therefore cancelled our auto renewal on our original subscription for we do not need to pay for two products. We have now received an email stating that our CC storage will be reduced to free (2gb) version. Why doesn't adobe take this subscription upgrade into consideration ??

    Hi TAT30CT31,
    Welcome to Apple Discussions
The 512Mb of RAM is soldered in so you can't remove it. There is a second slot in which you can place more RAM. If you wanted to put in another 512Mb, you would have a total of 1Gb of RAM. If you put 1Gb into the empty slot, you will have a total of 1.5Gb. Do you get what I am saying? I suggest getting your RAM from Crucial.com because they have a great guide to make sure you get the right RAM for your iBook (they have great prices as well). Do you want a guide on how to install RAM?

  • I would like to change my membership to a 1 app membership.  Do I have to cancel my current one and purchase a new one or can it be converted?

I have the full CC membership but do not use all the APPS to warrant the monthly fee.  Is it possible to downgrade to a single app membership?  I have been all though the "manage my account" and can't find a way to do that.

As far as I know, you must cancel and buy new... BUT...

  • How can I downdrage or canacel my CC membership for just the Photoshop one?

I have had the CC membership for over two plus years and have Photoshop C3 licensing I really only use Photoshop for my graphics design. I would like to downgrade from the complete package to the Photoshop/Lightroom one. Can I please have assistance with this? It is not worth it for my needs or finances to pay $50 a month for services and tools I don't use but I do want to stay on the Photoshop one since I do use it very frequently.

  • I only use 5 of the Creative Cloud Apps... Is there a way I can downgrade and pay less?

I'm a film maker and photographer using Premiere Pro CC, After Effects CC, Illustrator CC, Photoshop CC, Adobe Story and Lightroom CC
I don't use the rest of the programs that come with Creative Cloud and £46 a month is stretching me a bit at the moment. Is there a way I can downgrade so as to pay less?
    Any ideas?

    Hi there
Creative Cloud pricing and membership plans | Adobe Creative Cloud
The single app plans are £17.58 inc VAT each & the Photography plan (PS + LR) is £8.78 so you'd actually be paying more if you took out separate memberships for the applications you use.
    Thanks
    Bev

  • Thinking about switching from single-app to full CC. Is it possible to switch back at a later date or am I committed to a year of full membership?

    Hi there,
I'm currently paying for Flash but it looks like I may have to use Photoshop and After Effects too, so I was thinking about switching to the full plan. However if I don't end up needing Photoshop or After Effects is it possible to downgrade my membership to single-app in the future?
    Thanks in advance!
    Dan

Be sure to select the MONTHLY subscription so you may stop the subscription at any time and not have to pay a penalty for cancelling a year's subscription

  • Upgrading and downgrading between Creative Cloud and Photoshop Photography Program

I am interested in subscribing to the Photoshop Photography Program, but occasionally need to use Premiere and After Effects - is it possible to "upgrade" from the Photoshop Photography Program to the full Creative Cloud (on a per month basis, as needed), and then "downgrade" back to the Photography Program afterwards? Or would separate accounts be necessary to achieve this?

    Hi BernardB,
You may switch the plans according to the requirements.

  • How do I downgrade my subscription from Adobe CC to Photoshop only?

I signed up for a yearly subscription around October 2013 for CC.  But I've only learnt to use Photoshop and I never use the other programmes.  I'm currently not working so I cannot afford the $49.99 a month subscription.  I would like to downgrade my subscription/membership to Photoshop only, as $9.99 a month is within my budget.  I have tried the Chat facility a few times, but I have never been successful in getting anyone online to talk to. The last time I tried, I was waiting online for over an hour and just kept getting the "thank you for your patience" message.
Please let me know if it's possible to downgrade to Photoshop only, and if so, how to go about it.  Thank you!

    Hi again Rajshree,
I'm still not able to purchase Photography CC on Adobe.com.  I tried logging out and purchasing as a new user, but it asked me to set up a user name and password, and I would like to use my existing one. The minute I log in, it defaults again to the message " You're already subscribed to the Creative Cloud membership (one-year), A$49.99/month plus applicable tax. See your plan details. Want to take advantage of our promo for this product? Please contact Customer Support to see if you qualify".
Can I give you permission to override this and make the purchase of Photography CC on my behalf, and cancel my CC membership? If not, please advise how I can change my subscription, as I can't find a way to get around my existing subscription. If I cancelled it, I'd get charged 50% of the remainder of my yearly subscription, and you've already said there won't be any penalty.  Thanks!
