Hi All,
I encountered an error '/ Abort Could not determine a value for variable 0DAT from the authorizations\' when executing my query on a multiprovider in BW 3.5.
Can anyone help me in finding a solutionn to this issue.

Hi Kartik,
I am sorry as that note is for NW2004s. Please check if 0DAT variable installed from a business content? if not then I think thats the cause of the problem.

There are lot of enries most of them pertaining to properties set to yes or no.
out of which therre are tow errors. the log is as follows

Error - The request could not be performed due to an error from the I/O device

Hello,
I have a Hyper-V server with a few virtual machines.
The host runs Windows Server 2012 R2 with Hyper-V.
VMs are Windows Server 2012R2 Generation 2 and Windows Server 2003 Generation 1.
All VMs running on VHDX on local host disks, no raid, no storage. Most VMs run on dedicated disks.
I am having the following error when I demand large amount of I/O on VMs:. "The request could not be performed due to an error from the I/O device"
This error happens when I run robocopy which requires large amount of writing, or on a SQL 2014 VM which also requires many reads and writes.
Whenever this error occurs, the replicas of the VMs require resynchronization and the MSSQL service stops.
Analyzing the events of the Host, I find the following warning multiple times: "The IO operation at logical block address 0x31fd01 for Disc 4 (PDO name: \ Device \ 0000005d) was retried." Disc 4 is where SQL runs.
Is there any special configuration that must be done to avoid these errors?

It seems that it is not a hyper-v issue .
I would suggest you to keep the driver up-to-date for your hyper-v host .

Why do I continually get the error message "iTunes Match could not be updated because you were disconnected from the network during processing"? What network?

Over the last 4 or 5 days, I get this message every time I open iTunes. I'm not sure what network this error message is talking about. Any ideas?

iTunes Match needs a network connection to work, either Wi-Fi, cellular or wired. See the following:
Make sure you have an active Internet connection
Be sure your computer or device has an active Internet connection by loading a webpage using Safari or another web browser.
On an iOS device with cellular support, if you are not on a Wi-Fi network, try enabling 3G cellular data1 for iTunes Match.
For iOS 6, tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Use Cellular Data > On
For iOS 5.1.1 or earlier, tap Settings > iTunes & App Store > Use Cellular Data > On

Determine event handler for swing components from the API browser

Is there a way to determine what event handlers are assocaited with the different swing classes. For example JTextField is associated to ActionListener, and JCheckbox uses the event handle ItemListener. Is there a way to determine this by looking at the class via the Java API?

Yes, there is. You'll observe that JTextField has an "addActionListener(ActionListener)" method, for a start. And JTextField is a subclass of JTextComponent, which has "addCaretListener(CaretListener)" and "addInputMethodListener(InputMethodListener)" methods. And JTextComponent is a subclass of JComponent, which has an "addAncestorListener(AncestorListener)" method. And so on... there are more. All of this can be found in the API documentation by looking for methods whose names start with "add".

HT201272 I attempted to copy an old playlist to an old iPod and was told that the items could not be copied until they were downloaded from the cloud. If I download the items so that I can copy them to my iPod are they they no longer in the cloud?

I attempted to copy an old playlist from my imac to an old ipod and was told that i must download the songs from the cloud before i can copy the playlist to the ipod. If i down load these songs from the cloud are they no longer available from the cloud for my other devices (iphone5)?

When attempting to open a query, i'm encoutered with an error like "Abort Could not determine a value for variable 0P_KEYD2 from the authorisations".
Last month it was working fine, and working fine in Quality enviroment also.
If anyone come across such situation or any ideas, Please help me out in this regard.

0CMONTH could not determin authorizations

We are running BW 3.5 service pack 13 and we had bex query that had been working for long time. Since last Thursday we started getting the following error.
"ACould not determine a value for variable 0CMONTH from the authorizations"
I have tried to debug it in RSRT but I can't figure out what is going on.
It seems like 0CMONTH does net get any value! It should hold current month value.
Authorization trace (STO1) does not show any problems.
Any help should be greatly appreciated.

Let me know the entities and their relations ships you are using for quicker response.
To know the proper error, use the path as mentioned
nwa->problem management ->logs & traces->locks.
Email the error code,
The issue might be because of some many probabilities mentioned below.
Point no 1
Are you using Named queries : If so check the queries syntax, the syntax used here is different from regulat sql queries.
Point no 2:
Are you using Java DIctionary or generic db and connecting to max db?
check this part also
Point no 3:
Check your connection profile parameters:
Point no 4 :
Check the data-source-alias,persistence.xml and data-source.xml parameters..
Beacuse i trouble shooted a lot on JPA's and found why the typical error's occurs.

Broadcast Setting - Bursting : Could not determine recipient

Hello,
I created broadcast setting for template using option bursting.
Template is broadcasted by district (attribute of 0plant).
Here is the option for broadcasting.
Chracteristic for receipient determination : Generate Document with Variable Value
            Variable : District
Selection of the Characteristic Values : By Following Selection
It had worked sucessfully for several months, by now from time to time ,
I would say 60% of broadcastings ended with error: Bursting: Could not determine recipient
When I run broadcast setting the second time , it's always ended sucessfully, and send templates to districts.
Could you please advise how to fix this.
I can not imagine what could cause this strange behavior,
so I'll be very appreciated for any help.

Hello. I am installing Oracle 11gR2 RAC using 2 Virtual Machines (rac1 and rac2 whose OS are Oracle Linux 5.6) in VMPlayer and according to the tutorial

I am installing Grid infrastructure. I am on step 7 of 10 (verify Grid installation enviroment) and get this error:
"Free Space: Rac2: /tmp"
Cause: Could not determine mount point for location specified.
Action: Ensure location specified is available.
Expected value: n/a
Actual value: n/a
I have checked the free space using the command:
[root@Rac2 /]# df -k /tmp
Output:
Filesystem 1k-blocks used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda1 30470144 7826952 21070432 28% /
As you see above, the free space is enough, but could not determine mount point for /tmp.
Do any folks understand how to determine the mount point for directory /tmp ?

Hello. I have found the file ./bash_profile under /home/ora11g/ and the file is invisible. However, I edit the file using the command:
[ora11g@Rac2 ~]$ vi /home/ora11g/.bash_profile
I add the 2 lines into the file as below:
TMP=/tmp; export TMP
TMPDIR=$TMP; export TMPDIR
I save the file .bash_profile and reboot Oracle Linux 5.6 and check again on step 7 of 10 in the Installer, but the problem is still not solved.
Can any folk help to solve the strange problem "could not determine mount point for /tmp" ?

Catch: could not retrieve wsdl imports for wsdl

Hello, I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.17 and am configuring a catch in a BEPL for a web service.
The web service itself works, and the composite that is calling the web service works properly. I am now trying to configure the catch for the web service. I create the catch, and double-click it to get the GUI for the configuration.
I click on the magnifier to open the "Fault Chooser" window. I click on the Partner links, then the service, and then the "Imported WSDL" for the service. This exposes an error message: Exception: could not retrieve wsdl imports for wsdl
Given that the web service calls a service on a remote server (within my organization, however), I tried re-creating the web service call, and the second time specified that it "copythe WSDL and its dependent artifacts into the project" to see if this would allow the catch to "grab" the wsdl.
It does not. The wsdl is listed under the project wsdl files, but each project wsdl file does not show the necessary information.
Does anyone know if I am doing anything incorrect?

We are facing similar issue and trying to resolve the Oracle advices not to Copy the WSDL files locally , and writes a note " Keeping a copy of WSDL may result in synchronization issues " in Jdeveloper when you try to create a reference .
We found out a way to access the Fault by adding PartnerLink to the WSDL ( I know that it is not a best practice to mix interface and implementation ) . This avoids the synchronization issues .
Do you have any other Thoughts .

Gmail could not scan zip file for viruses

I received a zip file. MacBook Pro tries to scan for virus and I received a msg that "Gmail could not scan this file for viruses". Does the problem lies with the zip file OR there is some software that I need to download & install before I could download the zip file?

I have been using Macs since 1984.
I've worked at companies with 50+ Macs.
I've used every Mac OS From 1.1 to 10.6.7

I get the below error while accessing a query on the planning Info Cube. I used the SAP Exit variable Most Current Data (Transactional InfoCube) (0S_RQTRA) in the query for the Characteristic - Request ID (0REQUID) to extract the data from the yellow request too.
I do not use the below variables as in the below eror in my query at all. Please assist.

This error diagnosis is specific only to the variables 0P_FVAEX or 0P_CTPCA !

With queries from the CO application, both SAP-Exit-Variables look for an entry for 'controlling area'. With this controlling area from the selection screen, the SAP-Exit-Variables program reads the attributes for InfoObject 0CO_AREA (controlling area).
With queries from the FI application, the SAP Exit Variable 0P_FVAEX looks for an entry for 'company code'. With this company code from the selection screen, the SAP Exit Variables program reads the attributes for InfoObject 0COMP_CODE (Company Code).

you need to take a closer look at your query. Somewhere you used one of the 0P_* exit variables, which work only for controlling related InfoCubes. Use your own variables.
