How can I lodge a complaint about Adobe Flash Player? When I updated Adobe Flash Player this morning it also installed a McAfee scanning software without any warning or notification. I find this totally unacceptable. But I cannot find any information on the Adobe website that will allow me to lodge my complaint. Which I also find totally unacceptable.
Ho hum.

This is a an old complaint. I would have thoughtas much bad karma as Adobe has received would have stopped this practice espcially since it found that many time McAfeee either gets protection signatures wrong or cause more problems than it fixes.
I don't know whether mailto:[email protected] is still effective.
At one time a disgruntled Adobe products user created a FaceBook or twitter page. And many in past have claimed when there complaints got ignored or laughed at by Adobe. They suddenly got action whe airring their complaint on this FaceBook or Twitter page.
There should be a big warning Box stating:
Adobe is about to install a package Called McAfee on your computer. If you do not wish to instal click checkmark here.
Do you wish have Adobe install Products not requested on your computer yes__ or no__ please use a √
And to adhere to wishes of the customer.

1. System Preferences > Other/ Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
     Press the "Delete All" button
     Install Adobe Flash Player.

    Follow the prompts.
    Quit Safari.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Allow Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security
    Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"
    Enable it.
    Press " Manage Website Settings" button for more options.

I need to install Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Reader
I found following link;

I can't find 'alien' and 'dpkg' on repo. With them I can convert .rpm package to .deb package and install the later with with dpkg. Or is there any way on Archlinux?

Okay, so thats more than a few questions :) Once I started
writing my first few I just couldn't stop. But please anyone who
can answer these would be of great help to me in deciding if I
should invest any time into adobe flash.

remoting... I like AMFPHP for remoting.

Entire flash sites can be dynamic - it's what I do... I use
PHP / AMFPHP and
MySQL to build dynamic flash content.

Easy is a relative term... the best way right now is to use
SWFObject
(Google for swfobject seo) - essentially you build an html
site inside the
Flash's <div> so the spiders will see the alternate
content.

About adobe flash player installation?

I have toshiba laptop and it's a AMD Hard drive, which means
it is not intel inside ....
I am not sure what the difference is until i tried to install
adobe flash player.
I have installed it like a thousand times, but every time i
use something requires adobe flash player, it asks to install
it....
I searched in the support center for adobe, and it says u
need a intel hard drive to install it.
My question is, with AMD hard drive, is there anyway you can
still install adobe flash player?
it is bothering me so bad, i cannot do a lot of things
without it.

Can you provide some more details.
1. I assume you mean "processor" when you say AMD "hard
drive" considering neither AMD nor Intel make hard drives.
2. You say its a toshiba laptop. Does this mean you are
running Windows? If so, which version (XP, Vista, etc).
3. What browser are you using that is giving you problems?
Include version number (Internet Explorer 7).
To my knowledge AMD vs Intel processors should have nothing
to do with installing the flashplayer plug-in. I run an Intel at
work and an AMD at home, no problem installing the plug-in on
either machine, for any browser.

Flash takes too much processors cycles and there is no cooling system on iOS devices.
That's really what it comes down too.
It's not Adobe's fault, Flash was designed for PC's and increasing processor capabilities not for new tiny Atom like processors enclosed in airtight case devices.
Flash runs fine on larger machines no sweat.

If you're really on OS X 10.5, you're probably not going to be able to run the most recent Flash Player, which means you won't have the security fixes from the most recent releases. The current Adobe Flash Player requires Mac OS X v10.6 and later though — per what Adobe has posted in their system requirements — doesn't yet support 10.10.
I'd generally avoid Flash Player entirely, due to its long history of security problems, and issues with performance and stability. Switch to H.264 video where you can, and there are tools which make that easier.

And I noticed that ; Flash 10.1 support to the Android OS had come to HTC Google Nexus One , with "Froyo" update. I watched some videos at Youtube , about "Open Screen Project" (that Adobe leads) . And Adrian Ludwig(at Flash team) was using HTC HD2 and showing the Flash 10.1 at phone. I'm thinking that , if he used Flash at HTC HD2 , then there must be a release for phone too. Whoops, my bad. Didn't note that HD2 is WinMo.
As I understand it (and I am just a consumer, not official in any way) - the intention is to get 10.1 on every device possible, including the iPlatform if Apple ever decides to change their mind (HA!).
As for the status of WinMo currently, I am not sure about that. I know 10.1 is being tested on Blackberry, Palm, and Android for sure, but I don't know what Microsoft has been up to, considering they have their own competing tech at stake here too...
If I had to take a guess (and it would be a guess) I would say that the highest probability is 10.1 on WinMo7 devices, though I have no information to back that up, its just a guess.

Yeah, this is the new 10.3. It installs a Preference Pane in Other in Sys Prefs. You can select a number of settings there. I basically allow it to do as little as possible, except for the update notification.
In storage, I would select "Block all sites from storing...." (That's the option to disable "Local Shared Objects," Adobe's cute euphemism for cookies. Until now, they have been hidden away in the Macromedia folder in your home folder>Library>Preferences where I've locked everything up, after trashing the Macromedia folder and getting a new one after visiting http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_man ager07.html)
I can give you instructions for doing that. Post back if you want them. Not sure how effective the new Pref Pane is, especially now that I see it reset the default of "Allow sites to save...." and all the defaults. Maybe it only sticks from an admin account and I recently started running from a standard account, while using an admin account solely for authentication. I will have to look into that.
Definitely turn off Camera and Mic. In Playback check "Block all sites...."

After following all instructions about Adobe flash plugins, I still get the crash report what do I do now?

I have Windows Vista. I use Firefox latest version. I just checked and all the plugins are up-to-date. I got a crash report and that was when I first had to update a couple of plugins. After doing that it still gives me the same message. I even deleted Java and re-installed it. What can I do to now? It was only crashing on one game on Facebook now it crashes on 3 games and getting worse.
