How do I sync my Nexus 5 ( Android 4.4 Kitkat ) with iCloud ?

How do I sync my Nexus 5 running android 4.4 kitkat with icloud. I mean the calenders, reminders etc.
The remimders that i set on the nexus 5, I recieve on my ipod and mac....but the opposite doesnt happen unless i set it in the gmail calendar....
How do I set up icloud email in it? cas i think thats how....

For Contacts and Calendars use SmoothSync (Play Store) you will need to buy both versions, one for Contacts and one for Calendars.
Please note that iCloud has nothing to do with Google so what yu want to do won't work. iCloud mail is a standard IMAP system, consult the instructions for your phone.

How to install Android 4.4 KitKat on a ZTE Open

Don't get me wrong: THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH FIREFOX OS AND I HATE ANDROID. I simply want to know how to do this for future reference and to grow my knowledge of how these devices work.
I have a ZTE Open which runs FxOS 1.1
How to I install Android 4.4 onto my phone? I've looked it up a ton and I can't find a good way for my device. If you want to help me, great! If you happened to be "offended" by my request please don't feel like cho have to :P

I don't personally know how to do this, but it seems that some people have been able to do it on certain devices.
I found a video on Youtube of someone that was able to port Android 4.4 KitKat to the ZTE Open C:

Please keep in mind that this would be very experimental, and there is always the risk of bricking your device.

ECLIPSE & NETBEANS Same error about android.R class - new project

As remember I installed ant in C:/Ant from Apache zip file for Phonegap. Ant exist and to JDK? BOTH far above must set in WINDOWS 7 64bit System - environmental vars??? I think something deleted i guess ant in environmental vars...
In eclipse juno where are Android sdk tools and AVM ??%JAVA_HOME% how understand what this holds?

You may want to swap out OpenJDK for the official version as compatibility isn't always guaranteed - any sort of development would require the "proper" java stack in my opinion.
Apologies - tomcat does need to be installed separately. It is quite a while since I have had to reinstall netbeans / reconfigure it

AnyConnect Android 4.4 (KitKat) Compatibility Update (CSCul28340)

Due to a bug in Android 4.4 (KitKat) reported to Google under Issue #61948, AnyConnect users will experience High Packet Loss over their VPN connection (users will experience timeouts when attempting to access certain network resources). In the ASA logs, a syslog message will appear with text similar to "Transmitting large packet 1420 (threshold 1405)."
This has been reported to Google under Issue #61948

Until Google produces a fix for Android 4.4, VPN administrators may temporarily reduce the maximum segment size for TCP connections on the ASA with the configuration command "sysopt connection tcpmss <mss size>". The default for this parameter is 1380 bytes. Reduce this value by the difference between the values seen in the ASA logs. In the above example, the difference is 15 bytes; the value should thus be no more than 1365. Reducing this value will negatively impact performance for connected VPN users where large packets are transmitted.

Critical issue with DNS resolution on KitKat (4.4.2).

running KitKat (4.4.2).
Firewall config has split-tunnel.
When connected, we CAN reach internal resources but when connected we CANNOT reach external resources.
Ran sniffer to find that DNS requests are having internal DNS search domain appended.
When executing on device:
     $ ping google.com
     ping: unknown host google.com
The sniffer shows:
a faulty DNS lookup for "google.com.example.com" which seems to be appending our search domains to all DNS lookups.
     11:53:45.892635 IP 192.168.124.101.62994 > 192.168.170.133.53: 43772+ A? google.com.example.com.
This problem DOES NOT happen when using KitKat (4.4.2) native IPSec VPN with the same firewall group policy and split-tunnel configuration.
This problem DOES NOT happen for 4.3 (Samsung Galaxy S3) using the same AnyConnect client.

Same for me, right out the box flat doesn't work with either of my microsoft accounts.
Uninstalled and reinstalled same issue.
Must say the HTC one X I came from I had to wait forever for a update to let me login and I find it laughable that it is broken now on 4.4.
Does nobody test these things it is even preinstalled on the new Nexus 5

Video no longer plays with android 4.4 kitkat

I have a nexus 7 1st gen. Just updated android to 4.4 kitkat and videos no longer play. Tried youtube and facebook.

Android 4.4 kitkat update?

I taught Nov. 7th would be the date that other Sony android devices will recieve the new 4.4 kitkat android version? But it's already Nov. 12th and it seems that there is no update about the version!

Bluetooth getting disconnect after Android update to Kitkat

Hi,
after update to Android Kitkat i have problems with my bluetooth connection. It disconnect all the time my headphone( oryginal Sony headset). Before this update everything was fine and it works perfectly.
Can somebody help me with it?

Error while installing the Android 4.4 KitKat update - How do I fix it?

Hello, I'm having a problem in which my phone will not install the android 4.4 update on my droid mini successfully. My phone has downloaded it over Wi-Fi and 4G LTE but the installation itself never actually works.
After the first reboot during my installation, on my phone I see a picture of an android with a red exclamation sign that says Error. My phone reboots to the system and i see a notification box called "Software Update - Update Failed" and it's not working at all.
I'm downloading it for the third time now so this is really frustrating to me. Here is a picture of my System update information:

pacnet2014- It sounds like completing this update has been a hassle and that's not good. I have reviewed some information about your device and I see that others have had this issue. Have you tried completely master resetting the device? Try that and then try the software update again.

An Open Letter to Verizon about Android 2.2 and Fascinate

Dear Verizon,
I purchased my Samsung Fascinate phone from one of your stores last September. I distinctly recall the sales rep saying that Android 2.2 would be available within the next 2 months. As everyone knows, Android 2.2 is much anticipated, particularly due to its support of Adobe Flash. We are now into the second week of March 2011, and there is still no Android 2.2 available. It is particularly frustrating that Android 2.2 has been pushed to other Samsung Galaxy S phones, but not to the Fascinate. I believe that Verizon has really dropped the ball on its customers. Another source of frustration is the fact that Verizon has steadfastly refused to provide any sort of information on when, or if, Android 2.2 will ever be available for the Fascinate in an official, supported form.
I would like Verizon to do the following:
1)      Give us an estimated release time (not necessarily date) for Android 2.2
2)      Inform Fascinate customers on what the technical hurdles are and when and how they should be addressed
3)      Or, be frank with your customers and tell us you don’t want to be bothered anymore with the Fascinate
If you want an idea of how badly this whole Android 2.2 non-availability issue has damaged your relationship with your customers, I suggest you log onto your online Forum for Fascinate Users.

I installed the verizon leaked 2.2. Everything works perfect, including flash. Same UI as we have now. Phone is better in every way. I will include the link so you can do the same. Very easy, don't be scared. Enjoy

Will the playbook ever get Native email? What about Android Apps?

I was told the bridge was just to be a temporary fix until native email would be compatible on the playbook. Does anyone know if this will ever happen?
I was also told we'd get to download android apps eventually. This also hasn't happened. Does anyone know if this will ever happen?
