    i want to use seperately audio driver.
    1. Computer reference audio driver.
    2. Bluetooth audio driver.
    it is operation same time in My computer. I think that support this option(?) at Cool edit

    It may work but you will have to try it and see. Are you on a PC or a Mac. you may be able to use two different audio devices with only one copy of Audition open. It will be easier on a Mac since you can make an aggregate device from several different audio interfaces. On a PC it will probably be harder but you may be able to do it if you use ASIO4All as your audio driver and then select the two sets of audio device from within ASIO4All's setup software.

  • A few questions about auditing

    Hi all,
    I am new to auditing, my manager asked me to make a report on how our database is audited including audit levels, tables and users audited etc. After some research I found about AUD$ table and views associated with it. I also found about table auditing(session/access) but I could not make any clear ideas out of these info. Also I made some tests and I could not get any assuring results. First I want to tell you what I did:
    I enabled auiditing on the fnd_user table(test instance, 9.2.0.8) on select and update using TOAD. However after making many selects and updates I can not find any audit info in either audit trail or AUD$ table and views using it. After this I turned on all other statements'(alter, delete, grant etc.) auditing and switched between ACCESS and SESSION but to no good. What am I missing, why is there no trail of these actions?
    Second, I have been inspecting the AUD$ table, there is recent data in it which consists of drop and truncate info mostly. I used a query to determine which objects have auditing enabled but there are none other than the fnd_user which I just enabled. What makes this data to be populated in the AUD$ table and how can I alter this?
    Lastly, what are the possibilities of efficient auditing on the tables, users and schemas I want?
    Any advices will be most appreciated.
    Thanks and regards

    Hi,
    Thanks for the fast replies.
    The output of show parameter audit is:
    NAME TYPE VALUE
    audit_file_dest string ?/rdbms/audit
    audit_sys_operations boolean FALSE
    audit_trail string NONE
    transaction_auditing boolean TRUE
    audit_trail is not boolean, what are the values it can get? transaction_auditing is enabled, how can I make use of this, and what are the differences between the three types of auditing?
    Also I will be very happy if someone could tell me what populates the data in AUD$ table although the auditing is disabled?
    Thanks and regards

  • A shot in the dark question about Audit Trail

    Gurus,
    We (development team) typically provide deployment scripts which contain API calls or table inserts for OA configurations. This ensures consistency between environments and prevents Admin user error from fat-fingering. With that said, anyone have any idea if the Audit trail forms use backend API calls to write to standard tables? Or do those Audit trail forms write directly to standard tables/views?
    I feel much more comfortable calling an API rather than trying to mimic standard table inserts.
    Audit trail for base tables consist of several steps:
    1. Enable audit at application level (Intall Form)
    2. Define Audit name and define table (Groups Form)
    3. Define audit columns from table (Tables Form)
    4. Run Audit Trail concurrent job.
    I am mostly concerned about writing a script for tasks 1-3, since we can easily execute a concurrent job through FND_REQUEST. I've been looking at the FND_AUDIT* packages and none reference a "create" procedure.
    BTW, form diagnostic tool didn't supply much information.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hi,

  • What about audit vault?

    Hello all,
    We are searching for a tool to set monitoring and set alerts for Oracle and SQLServer Databases, as per what I've found seems that Audit Vault is a nice option...
    however I would like to know opinions from people who already implemented this technology...
    Has this tool helped as much as you expected from the security/auditing perspective?
    What about performance on the databases you needed to audit?
    Any other comment would be welcome aswell...
    Regards,
    Alvaro.

    We've implemented Audit Vault and I can tell you it's not trivial. It's a resource hog and it has full of holes. The custom report is not very good either. We probably going to ditch this solution in favor of a 3rd party tool. Looks like your requirement is to audit both Oracle and SQL server so there are tools out there you should take a look at. We have several type of databases here but only need to audit Oracle. A tool we eventually settle on is from Blue Core Research called Core Audit. It's working out well for us so far. Unfortunately, they don't have SQL server but they said they will soon.

  • SAP BI 4.0 SP2 : Questions about Audit

    Hello guys
    Can you give some informations on Audit functionalities in SAP BI 4 ? I installed the audit database and i configured the audit panel in the CMC to the default level and now i would like to request on the data stored in the auditing database, where can i found an "audit universe" and "Webi reports" to query on Auditing data like in BO XI 3.1 ?
    Thanks in advance
    Jean-Philippe

    Thanks for your link Kbobj1,
      I tried to follow the deploy Auditing reports and universe steps in the attached document, and sucessfully published a BOEXI40-Audit-MSSQL.UNX linking to my SQL express auditing DB.
      However, while trying to perform the last step which is to "Set Datasource Location" in the sample crystal report, I am unable to select "BOEXI40-Audit-MSSQL.UNX" from: Replace with > Universes path, only *.unv universes appeared to be there. Am I missing any steps ? Thanks~~
      I looked up some info from the web saying that UNX is not compatible with Crystal report 2011, that might be the reason.

  • Know about audit

    Hi,
    in my environmnet audit is working audit_trail=db,extended . i am also viewing report of audit trail from dba_audit_trail or aud$. But problem is that i have to generate report on which object of schema what audit is running .
    or from which tables we can get information of following commands.
    AUDIT ALL BY xx_test BY ACCESS;
    AUDIT SELECT TABLE, UPDATE TABLE, INSERT TABLE, DELETE TABLE BY xx_test BY ACCESS;
    AUDIT EXECUTE PROCEDURE BY xx_test BY ACCESS;
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    if selected no rows, it means you are not audit any objects.
    And you can found every audit views from dictionary

  • Need help about audited user.

    Hello folks
    Some days ago I detected that some user was trying to connect to my database with incorrect credentials, I detected it ´cause that user was blocked after 5 attempts (defined at profile) . So, I audited it and I could find OS user name, username, userhost, terminal, IP but I need to know what modules are from he connected to database (sqlplus, toad, aplication, etc).
    Thanks for helping.

    It may be worth looking through the listener logs for that time frame to see if you can identify the program in use.

  • Questions about auditing

    We are getting questions from our users. Can the following be
    done?
    1. Can we audit the log-on for a user and see what has been done?
    2. Can we have an audit for the log-on that is printable?
    3. Can we audit any operations that the user did?
    4. Can we audit time logged on, out, etc?
    If so, how?
    Thanks,
    Linda

    Dear Linda,
    I'm not sure whether you want to audit activities at the
    Database or at the OS level, but you will get almost all the
    info on Oracle and on UNIX!
    For auditing on Oracle, checkout the following :

  • A Very Useful Series of blog posts about the new Audition

    I can't remember seeing any recent reference to this in any of the numerous posts about Audition CS5.5 but if I'm wrong and the link has already been posted, my apologies!
    http://blogs.adobe.com/insidesound/ has a series of posts giving details about some of the "new" features, and includes a link to a page which contains a list of the parts of AA 3.01 which have either been renamed or not made it into the final release version, at least for the time being.  This latter page may NOT prove happy reading but is well worth a look.
    Jeff

    But reading the blog brings to light that the online help is now active.  So the "missing features" list can be contrasted with what IS in AA-CS5.5.  The full effects reference is here:

    Or, if you want to start at the top, or see how other functions and features are implemented, the main help page is:

  • WCS Lobby Ambassador audit report for a specific period of time

    Hi all,
    I know there is an WCS audit report for each lobby ambassador activities. But the problem is that I see only activities from Nov 9 to the present. I don't know what the reason is, whether somebody erased that information before Nov 9 or something else happened.
    Is there any option to manually configure a specific period of time, for example obtain all activities for last 3 months?
    Thanks for any hint.

  • What is Audit Trail in Oracle HRMS?

    Hi
    Plz give me idea about Audit Trail in Oracle HRMS.

    Audit trail in HRMS is same as in any other module except the fact there is one extra process needs to be run in HRMS to make sure that it can handle date track data.
    Coming to its use, it all depends on what your business requirements are and how much performance hit you are ready to take.

  • Create trigger not audited when run from sql developer Version 3.2.20.09

    Creating or editing a trigger is not being stored in the audit table when run from sql developer.
    Here is a sample script to show the issue:
    Grant Connect,create table,create trigger To testuser Identified By testuser;
    create table testuser.testtab(t1 number);
    Select Count(*) From Dba_Audit_Trail Where Owner='TESTUSER';
    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER testuser.testtab_bi_trg BEFORE
      Insert
          ON testuser.testtab FOR EACH ROW
    begin
      null;
    end;
    Select Count(*) From Dba_Audit_Trail  Where Owner='TESTUSER';
    drop user testuser cascade;
    If I run the script from sql developer the CREATE TRIGGER statement does not get audited.
    If I run the script from sql plus or All Arround Automations PL/SQL Developer the CREATE TRIGGER statement does get audited.
    If I edit the trigger from sql developer the CREATE TRIGGER statement does not get audited.
    If I edit the trigger from  All Arround Automations PL/SQL Developer the CREATE TRIGGER statement does get audited.

    Have you tested my script? Does the "Select Count(*) From Dba_Audit_Trail  Where Owner='TESTUSER';" increment by 1 after each of the ddl statements or only after the Create table statement.
    Your question doesn't have ANYTHING to do with sql developer and should be posted in the Database General forum
    https://forums.oracle.com/community/developer/english/oracle_database/general_questions
    Yes - and it works just fine once you ENABLE AUDITING. Your scripIt  does NOT include the statements or code used to ENABLE auditing and, specifically, enable auditing for triggers.
    Auditing doesn't just 'happen'; you have to enable it and you have to specify any non-default auditing that you want to perform.
    Have you read any of the extensive documentation about auditing to learn how to use it?
    See the Database Security Guide
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/network.112/e16543/auditing.htm
    Also see 'Auditing Functions, Procedures, Packages, and Triggers
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/network.112/e16543/auditing.htm#BCGBEAGC
    And see the AUDIT statement in the SQL language doc for how to specify auditing of specific operations.

  • Business Objects Audit Database

    Hi,
    I am part of spport team. BO was installed just 2 yrs back, We have about 15,000+ plus user and growing fast.
    Our current Audit DB is set up with main focus to monitor webi and CR. Due to large volume of data, ever 6 months we dump the audit data into our 'history database' (" would like to if there are any best practice for this "). We still are using same activity universe, but this affects our performance of audit reports. what is best appraoch to get most from our audit DB with optimum performance. Do you have any methodologies or suggestion. do we need to tweak the universe to perform better ? Would like to know the best practice to maintani the Audit database any though on this would be helpful. Have looked in BO admin guide chapter 14 "Audit Reports", this is only chapter which talks about Audit. i am looking for guide for maitainance and support for the audit DB, as our environment is gorwing need to have good reoprts on Audit informations to address our performance issues.
    Cheers,
    Srini

    Morning,
    As you are probably aware the activity universe is not ideal for reporting.
    For one of my previous clients we created a small data warehouse based on the audit data.
    We stripped out all the data that wasn't needed and we completely denormalised the audit DB schema with 2 fact and 4 dimension tables. Where possible we calculated our measures in the data warehouse to improve reporting performance.
    By following this approach you won't run into performance issues that quickly and you won't have  to archive data as frequently.
    I hope this helps.
