What error messages do you get when you run them?
Have you tried compiling them with the "-deprecation" option
this can provide more information (when compiling) about things that
are no longer supported. Although if you arn't getting any errors
on compilation that probably isn't going to be your problem.

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad W520 with Windows 7 64bit installed. Compared to other Notebooks with comparable hardware, my Lenovo is very slow. To prove my thought, I carried through a Matlab (64bit) benchmark test and the Windows 7 benchmark test. In both tests, my Lenovo was worse than the other notebooks. During the tests I set the Power Manager to performance and activated the Lenovo turbo boost.
Now I want to ask, if there are any settings, perhaps in the bios, to speed the laptop up? Or why result such a bad performance although the hardware is very good?

I just got an iphone 5s and now it wont connect to any of my windows 7 PCs, it just gets detected as an unknown device and is unable to be detected correctly. It was connected to one windows 7 pc about a week ago and worked but now I tested it on 2others

It is a 64 GB Iphone 5s and I am running Windows 7 x64 on all of my pcs.

Unit transactions are tested against their own specifications and design documents.
Integration Testing
An orderly progression of testing in which software elements, hardware elements or both are combined and tested until the entire system has been integrated.
Integration tests deal mainly with the testing of cross-application process chains in addition to transactions and business processes. The process models and the test cases derived from these form the basis of these tests.

The images imported to my stage turn up as blank and render every image previous to the rogue imported image as red squares that fill the perimeters of the image which then renders the publishing and scene testing features in flash useless, what can i do

I have been working on animating a scene in flash for a few weeks and recently I have encountered a problem with importing my images on to the stage where the images I import do not turn up, however the key frame that I attempted to import the image onto shows that it is occupied by an image and every frame previous to the key frame that just imported an image that does not show turns up as a red square that fills the original perimeters of the image, there is no solution to this problem any where on the forum and the adobe technical support staff will not help me find a solution to this problem what can I do to get Flash running normally again and fix this problem?????

I don't know if Flash has a memory limit of its own. The memory for your Flash file is based on the available memory on your computer.
There is a limit on the number of frames that you can have in any given timeline. I think that it's about 15000 frames, but that's a guess. Flash does all of its work at runtime, this means that no part of your animation is pre-compiled like it is in a video file. So the more objects that you have on the stage, the more work Flash has to do. It follows that the more objects that there are to animate, the more work your processor and the video card have to do.

Bitlocker with TPM and PIN testing?

Good day all,
We are about to deploy 10 Surface Pro 3's running Windows 8.1 Enterprise x64. We have enabled the TPM, enabled "Allow Enhanced PINS for Startup", "Pre-boot Keyboard" and turned on Bitlocker through the gui which recommended setting
a PIN which I did.
Everything seems to work as it should, how can I be convinced TPM and PIN are working together? I seem to be able to punch into Bitlocker many bad passwords without warning or asking me to reboot which is does for all other laptops without tpm.
1. How many bad password attempts do I get with TPM by default before lockout?
2. Where is my *.tpm recovery key?
3. Why when the TPM locks out can I still gain entry by typing in the Bitlocker PIN (not recovery password)
4. I want TPM to lockout after 5 incorrect attempts.
To test the TPM working I disabled the TPM in the BIOS and on next reboot Bitlocker asked for the Recovery Password which to me proves Bitlocker private encryption keys are safely held in the TPM. Is this safe to presume TPM is working?

When we set owner of the TPM ,we will be given a chance to save the TPM passowrd .
And when the BitLocker recovery key is saved to a file, BitLocker also saves a TPM owner password file (.tpm) with the TPM owner password hash value.We also can save them to the AD (Check the group policy in the same path as before). Have you tried to save
the recovery keys to a external media ?

When the TPM is locked out, it is also possible that the user will enter the correct PIN, but the TPM will respond as if the incorrect PIN was entered for a period of time.

From the output of the command line ,we can get the information that the TPM is working .It is not recommended to disable the TPM when the data is encrypted with TPM .

Two experiments you can try.
1. Boot in safe mode and see if you can shut down normally. All thise additions won't be running in safe mode so this test would indicate it is one of them causing the problem.
2. Uninstall all the intego VirusBarrier stuff. That's my first guess and the troublemaker.

Performance issues in bootcamp with Passmark benchmark test

I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this
I've got a Win XP 32bit SP3 installed on bootcamp. When i test this using the passmark benchmark test (latest version on a 30 day trial). I get poor CPU performance. I am running a 2.53 13" MacBook Pro. I can compare the results with other peoples results from the passmark database, by same CPU and also by other macbooks.
My scores are nearly half what other similar macbooks are showing in CPU Math, which is quite a difference.
So i wonder what's up, and how can i check it further? Half sounds like only one CPU running.
I've compared VMFusion and Bootcamp as well and there's not much in them, both results are showing around half the performance. (This is Fusion running the bootcamp install. A free windows install in Fusion shows slightly better results but not that much)
Any pointers or help would be great, for example is there some way under OS X i can check the performance of the macbook as a baseline?
Is there something i've not done whilst installing Win XP through book camp?

    The metadata sample demonstrates how metadata can be placed on an IMediaResource, and used to give the framework more information about the resource. The MediaFactory uses this information to determine which type of media a given resource points to. One of the intial problems we encountered when creating a media factory that created MediaElements from URLResources, was the inability to distinguish between image, video, and audio urls, since the extension isn't a guaranteed way.
The Metadata framework, that was developed last sprint was provided to enable metadata such as XMP, Namevalue, and Cuepoints. Not all specific classes that hold this data haven't been created yet however. The logic to add metadata automatically hasn't been placed in the framework yet.
It's currenty possible to retrieve onPlaystatus, onMetadata, onXMPData, onImagedata, and onCuepoint callbacks:

Mac Pro Restart and Hardware Test Problems

This appears to be a continuation of a thread I began titled "MacPro Restart or Reboot Problems" in which the reboot problem still seems to be evident.
Initially, I was having problems with rebooting but after rebuilding my directory with DiskWarrior, the issue disappeared. Then recently, I entered my password and the Mac restarted itself and the same problem is back where the drive seems to try and "catch" but can't.  And now its back to  happen anytime I want to re-boot (however, this tends to be rare.)
So I ran DiskWarrior again and it reported no problems. Then I tried to run Apple Hardware Test and about 40 seconds into the test, with the message "Testing memory" stated, the fans begin to spin at a high pitch.  The system locks up and the only recourse is to press the on/off button on the front of the Mac Pro.  If I try to wait it out, the Mac Pro will scream and spin until I restart.
I've ran the same AHT test on an identical Mac Pro that is only a few months older than this one and even using the Extended test, the AHT takes a little over four minutes.  And the Testing Memory message appears early in the test  and moves on.  Then, much later in the test, the fans spin up to the same high pitch whine like the problem Mac Pro.  But only one at a time (there seem to be three of them) and each one quickly quiets down once they're tested.
So that's the beef. Something I've considered is this Mac Pro came with two Gigs of Apple memory installed. I'm wondering should I uninstall one of them and re-try the AHT to see if it could be the memory.

I took my G5 to an Apple Store (2 hrs away) and had a Mac Genius look at it. I told him about the reboot issue and the weird skippy sound it made when it tries to reboot. When I mentioned about the G5 locking up during an AHT, he thought that sounded like a hard ware issue. So he ran a diagnostic test with his Apple CD and the G5 tested fine (?!!) We then ran my original AHT disc that I had brought with me. It too tested fine-- it didn't lock up at all! We rebooted like a half a dozen times-- with both keyboard and via the menu-- and it rebooted like a champ. Everything we tried, the G5 rebooted fine. I asked if maybe the keyboard, mouse or monitor back in my office could be part of the the issue. He replied anything connected to the G5 could be a culprit.
So I brought it back and hooked it all back up. And it would not reboot! It tries to reboot and makes the same sound, same problem! I disconnected and replaced cables and keyboards and mice. No dice. I took the G5 down to an edit bay where we have an identical G5 (same 2 GB of memory, maybe 3 months older) and connected its power cable, mouse, keyboard and Cinema Display monitor to my G5 and tried it. No reboot, same problem. I reconnected the older G5 back to its original cables/setting and it reboots-- no problems.
I'm at a loss. I guess I will go about doing a zero drive process and see what that brings... However, one thing I have seemed to confirm: the skippy sound that continously emunates from the G5 as it attempts to reboot seems to be coming from one of the optical drives (the G5 came with two DVD optical drives). I'm wondering if I go in and disconnect the optical drive(s), will that lead to something??
BTW, I did hook up the G5 to another monitor, thinking that maybe it could be a graphics card or monitor issue with the original display. I used a PC monitor with a DVI connector and the problem was still there.

OrgChart and OrgPlanning sizing and productivity issues

Dear Experts,
Our customer is going to implement OrgChart and OrgPlanning solutions and having some concerns regarding sizing, productivity and some others. Could you please clarify the following questions?
1. If some objects or data are blocked in the moment of fetching from SAP to Nakisa (or Nakisa DB), how is it going to react on Nakisa? How will this affect sending idocs? And also while doing backward process: sending data from Nakisa if there blocked objects in SAP which should be updated or changed.
2. What is going to happen if objects/data are deleted from SAP back-end system while it’s being modeled and then transferring back into SAP from Nakisa?
3. In terms of OrgModeler: is it possible to create a position or another type of objects (basically duplicate one) choosing from the list of existing ones? Or if it’s creating then the only option you have is creating a new one with unique ID?
4. Are there any other formulas or advices on how to calculate sizing and hardware needs except what is described in Capacity Planning Guide?

Larry, thanks for the suggestions. I'll have to try them when I get home from work. I'm working with a 45,000 image library. Have now prepared about 155 Faces. Only a few Places so far. Nevertheless the wait in interminable when you are trying to get things done. I have to initiate an action and then click away and do something else while iPhoto churns away. I have Menu Meters showing the CPU in the menu bar. Most actions in iPhoto (particularly Face scanning)force both CPUs to 100%.
I imagine one of the features dragging the system down is the repeated Face scanning of the whole library. A future update simply has to include a setting to turn this action OFF when you are not interested in matching more Faces. As it stands, even to simply look at a Faces album initiates a full scan of the library (CPU 100%). While I appreciate the feature, there has got to be some way of turning it OFF when all you want to do is view photos.
