About 'Collective No' in Transaction ME22(Not ME22N)

Hi,
I could find the Collective No' in tab 'Additional data' of transaction Me22N, But i didnt not find it in ME22.
Do you know from where i could check the Collective No in ME22 transaction??
Thank you very much

Hi,
Sorry, I dont think its available in the ME22 screen layout.
You can get the Quotation date and Quotation No. from header details in ME22, but not the collective No.
This could be an enhancement in ME22N,

Merwyn

Can anyone tell me an exit which can be used for ME21, ME22, ME21N, ME22N and ME27.
I tried using EXIT_SAPMM06E_006, it did not work as the values get cleared from the internal table once out of the Exit.

• Program to collect user u2013 transaction execution data for past period

Hi Experts
We are developing a program to collect user u2013 transaction execution data for past period ( 3 months-1 year ). We are getting required User and Tcode output but unable to find exact count per tcode ( executed by respective user).
We have following count components available in SAPWL_WORKLOAD_GET_STATISTIC / SWNC_COLLECTOR_GET_AGGREGATES
COUNT , DCOUNT ( Dialog count for transaction ) , UCOUNT , BCOUNT , ECOUNT, SCOUNT ,LUW_COUNT .
Out of which LUW_COUNT -Logical Units of Work comes close to no ot time transaction was executed but itu2019s even not the exact count as one transaction code can have more than one LUW .
Does anyone have idea about how to get the right count .
Thanks
Vani

If audit log is enabled in SM19 for transaction criteria all, you can get the transaction history executed by the users. But may need more space on audit file system if this is enabled for all users. May be you can archive once in 3 months into ZIP files and can unzip whenever you need.

• Message no. AK005 - Asset is investment measure, transaction type not allow

Dear All,
I am getting following error while transfering Investment AuC to Main Asset.
Message no. AK005 - Asset is investment measure, transaction type not allow
I searched the Forum and got some input.., but in that I have a clarification.
Please see my doubt and the forum input.
Internal Order as Investment Measure:
Can you explain me Step 10. Settle the amounts to Main Asset from AuC(Prcg type: Full) - KO88 once again.
How we can give the Receiver Main Asset master in KO88. In KO88 we can only provide the Internal Order. But that Internal Order is already settled to AuC in Step 8.
Please guide me.
Thanks.

Re: Settlement of cost center to final asset ?
Posted: Oct 27, 2009 11:40 AM
Hi,
Are you doing any settlement using the AUC asset ?
Normal practice is to Create an Auc Asset and settle cost to Auc. Once the asset is ready for use, finally settle the Auc to final asset.
This can be done in two ways like - line item settlement / investment measure.
Below are steps in two scenarios :
Internal Order as Investment Measure:
1. Define the AuC Asset Class (with investment measure) - OAOA
2. Define the Asset Class u2013 for Main Asset - OAOA
3. Define Investment Profile - OITA
a. Assign the AuC Asset Class (Step-1) in the investment profile
4. Assign Investment Profile to Model Order - OITA
5. Define Order Type (Investment) - KOT2
a. Settlement Profile - OKO7
b. Maintain Allocation Structures - OKO6
c. Planning Profile - OKOS
d. Budget Profile - OKOB
6. Create an Internal Order - KO01
a. With the Investment Profile (Step-2)
b. AuC automatically created by the system using Asset Class given in the Investment Profile
7. Post the amounts to IO - FB01
8. Settle the amounts to AuC from IO (Prcg type: Automatic) - KO88
9. Create the Main Asset - AS01
10. Settle the amounts to Main Asset from AuC(Prcg type: Full) - KO88
AuC using Line Item Settlement:
1. Define the AuC Asset Class (with Line Item Settlement) - OAOA
2. Define the Asset Class u2013 for Main Asset - OAOA
3. Define Order Type (Overhead) - KOT2
4. Create an AuC-Asset (using Step-1 Asset Class) - AS01
5. Create an Internal Order - KO01
a. Assign the AuC u2013 Asset in Settlement Rule in IO
6. Post the amounts to IO - FB01
7. Settle the amounts to AuC from IO - KO88
8. Create Main Asset (using Step-2 Asset Class) - AS01
9. Assign the Main Asset in IO (Step-5) - KO02
10. Settlement AuC u2013 Line Item List - AIAB
11. Settlement AuC - Receiver - AIBU

nms,
Your message is not very clear - while you have mentioned at what stage are you getting the above-mentioned error message, you haven't mentioned exactly what you were trying to do. The fact that you are getting this error is a straight-forward indication that you are attempting to do something that SAP does expect.
However, answering your query about how to use KO88, you have to settle the AuC to a FA (fixed asset, with asset class other than AuC ), as that will close the open AuC, transfer the value from the AuC to the FA and from this point onwards, all transactions will happen to this FA. Your statement "in KO88, we can only provide the Internal Order" is incorrect.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Gulshan

• Error in CJ88 Posting transaction is not possible (value date not allowed)

When i try CJ88 with a wbs element, it shows the following error :
Posting transaction is not possible (value date not allowed)
Message no. AA 478
Diagnosis
A retirement was already posted on the asset 000022400733 0041 on 20091231. Based on the value date 20091231 of the transaction, this transaction should have been included in the calculation of values for the retirement.
System Response
The transaction is rejected.
Procedure
Check the value date of the transaction.
In need to put year 2009 in date of the transaction, but it isnt posible. ¿Why? I dont know very much about asset accounting...

Hi
It is not allowing for WBS element final settlement, because of your asset already retairement was done.
By best suggetion is, You will create the new WBS element and transfer the all cost line items from old WBS element to new WBS element, then you will try to settlement for another asset in CJ88.
I hope it will use for you.

• Transaction resources not released across program invocations using MVCC

I'm evaluating Berkley DB XML v2.4.13 for use in a new software product and have encountered problems with multiversion concurrency control.
I'm using the Java API and JRE 1.6.0_07. The platform is Windows XP Professional SP3.
When I create a transaction with snapshot isolation enabled, execute some XQueries that read/update the contents of a document and then commit or abort it, the resources allocated to the transaction do not appear to get released. I've used EnvironmentConfig.setTxnMaxActive() to increase the number of active transactions allowed but this just allows me to run my program more times before it eventually hangs.
When I set EnvironmentConfig.setTxnMaxActive() to a small number the program hangs before completing the first time I run it. When I set
EnvironmentConfig.setTxnMaxActive() to a high value then I can run my program several times before it hangs. Note that the program runs to
completion and exits cleanly. I used the task manager to verify that all processes started by the program are gone when it completes. So
it appears that the resources allocated to a transaction are persisted in the database across program invocations. As a result the program
eventually hangs after running it several times. The number of times it can be run before hanging is directly proportional to how many active
transactions I've set with EnvironmentConfig.setTxnMaxActive(). It appears as if I'm not shutting down the environment cleanly but I've
read the documentation several times and am following the examples exactly. I've committed every transaction and have closed the XmlContainer,
XmlManager and the Environment.
When I use read-uncommitted, read-committed or serializable transaction isolation everything works fine. I'm only seeing this problem when
I use snapshot isolation. Am I doing something wrong or is this a known problem? If this is a known problem is there a work around?
Here's a copy of the program source code. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

From the documentation I linked for you:
The environment should also be configured for sufficient transactions
using [DB_ENV->set_tx_max|http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/api_c/env_set_tx_max.html]. The maximum number of transactions
needs to include all transactions executed concurrently by the
application plus all cursors configured for snapshot isolation.
Further, the transactions are retained until the last page they created
is evicted from cache, so in the extreme case, an additional transaction
may be needed for each page in the cache. Note that cache sizes under
500MB are increased by 25%, so the calculation of number of pages needs
to take this into account.As you can see, to calculate the maximum number of transactions you should configure for, you should use the following formula:
number_of_txns = cache_size / page_size + number_of_concurrently_active_transactionsThis will give you a worst case figure - in practice you may find that a lower number will suffice.
You'll also notice that transactions remain allocated "until the last page they created is evicted from the cache", so you should find that checkpointing will also reduce the number of transactions necessary at any one time.
Using snapshot semantics only on read-only operations will give you the full value provided by MVCC. This means that the read-only (snapshot) transactions will take copies (snapshots) of the pages that are write-locked, but the transactions that write will wait on the write-lock. Using snapshot semantics this way will reduce deadlocks as intended - using snapshot semantics for write transactions just introduces [a new way to get a deadlock|http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/api_c/txn_begin.html#DB_TXN_SNAPSHOT]:
The error DB_LOCK_DEADLOCK will be returned from update operations if a snapshot transaction attempts to update data which was modified after the snapshot transaction read it.John

• Transaction is not active

Hi,
We have a stateless bean defined with 'Bean' transaction type. We open a transaction
in this bean and then call a stateful bean located on a different application
server (container). This stateful bean is defined with 'Container' transaction
type with trans attribute 'not supported'.
We also tried to define the stateful bean with a transaction type 'Bean' and trans
attribute 'not supported' and still received the same error as written below:
We receive an error in the stateless bean 'transaction is not active' from the
stateful bean. This error only happends after the 3rd call to the stateful bean.
The stateful bean does not open any transaction.

There is some further discussion about using 'Not Supported' in the
newsgroup
that you might find helpful (bascially, it is implementor defined).
WLS does not start any transaction in the case of 'Not Supported'.
If a transaction already exists, it is suspended.
If you call another EJB that requires a transaction, you will
get an error that indicates that a transaction is not active.

• Book excerpt about Collections

http://java.sun.com/developer/Books/javaprogramming/javaobjects/ch06final.pdf
Nowhere in this free chapter does the author advise to declare Collections by specifying the least specialized type possible
it's always something like :
ArrayList arrayList = new ArrayList();
// using Collection methods only, like "add()"...By doing so, aren't we losing one of the most interesting aspect of Collections : designing by contract and being able to swap implementations as the needs change ?
Do you think this is irrelevant in a chapter about collections but belongs to a pure OO chapter ?
Just wondering...

I've only skipped the chapter, so I might miss anything. But I'll give you my two Euro-Cents nevertheless:
- I think it should be mentioned in the chapter, even 'though that chapter obviously is not about that specific concept. More importantly the chapter should really use that paradigm throughout it's example code. I think in this case giving correct examples is much better than repeating the message again and again.
- The chapter does mention using a simple wrapper about the list to hide away the use of the concrete list implementation in favour of a more business-orientet interface (Transcript+TranscriptEntry vs. ArrayList<TranscriptEntry>). IMO that is another approach to the same "problem".

• RFC : Transaction Program not Registered

Hi Folks,
We have registered the server program from the middleware onto SAP R/3 System and is successfully registered as per the logs. As a next step, we have logged into R/3 System, SM59, in the RFC destination (Type TCP/IP) after specifying the registered program, we have tested it(Connectivity test). The test is positive and connectivity is established successfully.
The solution was working for months and suddenly connectivity is broken.
To restore the connection, we have repeated the steps, registered the server program, tested and everything is fine.
But when we have pushed a new message, then onwards the RFC destination shows an error. "TP is not registered", Return Code 679. That is when the first message is pushed, it is de-registering the server program and running into error. All the messages got stuck in SM58 with status 'Error when opening an RFC connection'.
RFC trace shows
ERVER> Caller transaction code: (Caller Program: SAPLQOWK)
ERVER> Called function module: ARFC_RUN_NOWAIT
Error RFCIO_ERROR_SYSERROR in abrfcpic.c : 1501
CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPOCMINIT' : cmRc=2 thRc=679
Transaction program not registered.
Please let me know for any inputs.
Thanks, Suraj

My problem got solved. In the middleware, when TRFC connection is made, it has created a lock entry during the time, system was brought down for maintenance activity. When the system is brought up, then as the connection lock entry is available, then it deregistered the server program and not able to establish further connection.
To resolve the issue, we have just deleted lock file and registered server program from middleware. This time the connection was established successfully and could able to restore the message flow.
Thanks, Suraj

hello
there is a small difference in ERP (EH&S) Releases and how to handle them regarding EH&S Expert. Please take a look here:

regarding actual release.
The installation and configuration of the EH&S Expert ist described in a general OSS note (refer below). In this OSS note it is shown how to do it (you need to configure Windows etc.).
In WWI Conncetion it is furtheremore important how you configure the RFC (Unicode transfer mode or not). With EH&S Expert I have no experience but the same issue applies in my opinion.

You probably cannot get a refund, since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:
http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html
It's possible they'll make an exception for you, particularly if the app is defective in some way. If you just don't like or no longer need the app, a refund is unlikely.
Good luck.
Forum Tip: Since you're new here, you've probably not discovered the Search feature available on every Communities page, but next time, it might save you time (and everyone else from having to answer the same question multiple times) if you search a couple of ways for a topic, both in the relevant forums and in the Apple Knowledge Base, before you post a question.

• Current server is the coordinator and transaction is not found

Hi,
We're using Weblogic 8.1 SP3. We have a single weblogic domain and 2 clusters in it. EAR1 is deployed in cluster 1 and EAR2 is deployed in cluster 2. EAR2 is compiled and created using j2ee.jar and not weblogic.jar.
We have a MessageDrivenBean which is CMT / Required in EAR1 calls a BMT Stateless Session Bean in EAR2.
A new transaction is begun in the BMT SB method and commit or rollback is called based on exception. A RuntimeException is thrown back to the MDB in case the transaction is rolled back in Bean Managed SB.
Sometimes from the Bean Managed SB the following exception is thrown:
javax.transaction.TransactionRolledbackException: Current server is the coordinator and transaction is not found. It was probably rolled back and forgotten already.

This is not consistently reproducible though it happens when server is heavily loaded. When this exception occurs, the transaction in the BMT Session Bean is actually getting committed! The message gets redelivered from the MDB.
What could be the problem?

I'm seeing a similiar problem on our servers recently and thought I would add my problem as well. We are using Weblogic 8.1; don't know which SP is in production. We have an EAR file with an SB EJB that puts messages in a queue. The EAR is deployed in a cluster along with the queues. The errors below occurred in 3 of the 4 WLS instances in our cluster. This happened during a peak period and lasted for several seconds in Production.

• Error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)

Hi,
I was going to install a winff package (a GUI front end to ffmpeg for converting between video formats), but when I ran yaourt -S winff and tried to install it refused because it isn't for the x86_64 architecture. So I decided to edit the PKGBUILD and perhaps try to force it anyway, but then I saw that the PKGBUILD is actually getting the precompiled RPM package and as I checked, while there was no precompiled 64bit version of the RPM there was one for a deb version that is offered on winff site.
Since deb's are just archives I ended up, after a few tries, with this PKGBUILD which uses ar and tar commands to get to the binaries inside of the amd64 deb:
# Contributor: yugrotavele <[email protected]>
# Modified by libervisco for x86_64
pkgname=winff-amd64
pkgver=0.42
pkgrel=1
pkgdesc="GUI for ffmpeg"
url="http://www.winff.org"
license=('GPL')
depends=('ffmpeg gtk gdk-pixbuf')
makedepends=('')
source=('http://winff.googlecode.com/files/winff-0.42-amd64.deb')
arch=('x86_64')
md5sums=('1febf5fd19fa76bdc1da06d3e6c4d3b8')
build() {
ar vx winff-0.42-amd64.deb
tar xvzf data.tar.gz
install -Dm755 $startdir/src/usr/bin/winff $startdir/pkg/usr/bin/winff
install -Dm755 $startdir/src/usr/share/winff/presets.xml $startdir/pkg/usr/share/winff/presets.xml
install -Dm755 $startdir/src/usr/share/winff/winff.png $startdir/pkg/usr/share/winff/winff.png
So what I basically do is run yaourt -S winff and when it asks whether I want to edit it, I edit it and replace the original PKGBUILD content with above.
It successfully runs the build() commands, finds and installs the dependencies, but when it's time to install the actual new winff package is throws up this:
loading package data...
checking dependencies...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: winff: requires ffmpeg gtk gdk-pixbuf
I don't get it. It installed all the dependencies (and I even checked whether winff works in one of the earlier tries when I manually installed gdk-pixbuf when the binary asked for it). What does it want now?
Here is the whole process:
[daniel@memeport ~]$ yaourt -S winff

I tried doing it without changing the package name to winff-amd64, but same thing happens. What's going on?

Ahh man, and that's it! It works.
I'm just wondering now how can I contribute this PKGBUILD to AUR, but I can read that in the wiki too.
Thanks!
