Why not use the oracle documentation for the contents of the exam or better, attend the course from Oracle Univ(which anyways you have to do to achieve your certification) ?

  • Should I go for Oracle 10g OCA/OCP or 11g OCA/OCP Certification?

    Hi all,
I am lil bit confuse to decide about my oracle core dba certification.
Please help me to know, as per the present requirements of the business organizations.
    ***Should I go for Oracle 10g OCA/OCP or 11g OCA/OCP Certification?***
Hope u guys answer me earliest.
    Thanks & Regards,

Most likely, it doesn't matter too much. I doubt that most employers are terribly concerned with what recent version of Oracle you have a certification on.
    That said, if it matters
    - What does your organization use? What are their plans to upgrade? If your company still uses 9.2 primarily and has plans to upgrade to 10.2 this year, you're probably better off with a 10g certification. If your company is already running mostly 11.2, you're probably better off with an 11g certification.
    - What do most employers in your particular part of the world tend to use? What do job postings in your particular part of the world generally list?

Your statements may be ambiguous, I cannot be sure what you mean by 'fundamentals exams'.
There is a developer track for those interested in PL/SQL developer, is that what you are looking for?

I've now read on your subject what you meant by fundamentals +(if all else fails read the original posters question)+.. ie 9i DBA OCA and 9i DBA OCP .... no for you forget those and and follow the link to the Pl/SQL developer track ....

Exam order is not important, but you dont get certificates unless pre-requisites all met. The is an interesting cheap beta exam arround at present if you are up for it ... 1z0-144

  • OCA/OCP Certification test prep

Need reccommendations for OCA/OCP test prep. White pages, software, books etc.
    Thanks in advance.

You may choose whatever test preparation you feel more comfortable with. But I suggest you to setup a practical test environment where you can test all features according to the topic guide provided by oracle at the Oracle Certification site, you can find it by following the certification link at http://education.oracle.com . Besides I suggest you to document each topic with the official documentation manuals from oracle.

  • Oracle 9i OCA/OCP Exam

    Hi,
I just want to know that is it compulsory to study in any prometric centre for appearing in all exams of 9i/10G? Someone told me that, i will not eligible to appear in exam, until and unless i am not student of any prometric centre. Is it right?
I am sorry, i do'nt know; whether i should post this query here or not?
    Please guide me.
    Thanks & Regrds

Sir, Thanks you so much. I checked the link provided by you and there is nothing mentioned like "a person must be a student of prometric / oracle authorized centre, for eligible in 9i oca/ocp exam". It means, if i prepare myself and study the oracle, i am eligible to appear in the exam (no need to be student of prometric / oracle authorized, bocz this condition is no where mentioned).
    Thanks & Regards

  • Which version OCA,OCP Exam is Better Right now,10g or 11g??

    Hello sir,
I am Hardik Jethava,I am from India.
I want to know which Oracle version OCA and OCP certification is better to pursue according to market trend whether it is better to pursue for 10g or 11g?
    Please help someone guide me.
So,that i can start preparation for that exams.

I want to know which Oracle version OCA and OCP certification is better to pursue according to market trend whether it is better to pursue for 10g or 11g?IMHO, 11g is better. taking latest release certification will be helpful to you( for your career). so take OCA & OCP of 11g(only one exam).
    also learn 10g features.
if you would like to do 10g, first take 10g OCA and OCP certification then you can upgrade your certification to 11g.

  • Need Information about Flex Books

I want to learn flex perfectly. please give me book names
    with author name and URLS

I think lynda.com flex materials are wayy too shallow just
    barely scratching a surface,
    I personally recommend following :
    http://www.theriabook.com/
plus it comes with a free dvd,
at first I was little skeptical about that book, but IMHO,
this is the most advanced book I have ever found, and I have
safari subscription so I have looked at several of flex books so
    far,
training from the source is also a good book.

Hi were you able to resolve yours?
I was very worried losing all my medical stuff on my iPad Air 2, plus i have nothing to use for the next day! So i have to try all the possible things i read on the internet!! And this worked on my part (Thank God, and thank you Google)
    Perform a hard reboot
Hold down the Home button and Power button on your iPhone or iPad and keep holding them until you see the Apple logo. Once you do, you can let go. When your device boots back up, go ahead and check to see if the apps have started re-downloading. If they still appear to be stuck, continue on.

Hi, I´m new at the community. My book about the life of a bull who died in a bull fight was a best seller in Perú, and is been studied in many schools there. But I don't live there any more. People ask me about the book and is not any more at the libraries. I would like to make a tradition to english, portugues, and may be another language that could be interesting to do.
I am a psychologist with an specialization in couple and family therapy. I am writing more and more material and the people who reads me are asking me more.
My mother thong is Spanish, my second Portuguese , and my third is english. I apologize if I make some mistakes trying to express myself.
The situation is that I need to upload my book to iBook and I don't know how to do it. If I can pass that step I will like to upload more material I am sure people will enjoy and learn as they did with my first one.
    I really appreciate any help.

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download. If it didn't download correctly then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that audiobook and use the 'Report a Problem' link.
