About flint60.exe

Hi All,
Can you please explain in which scenario we will use flsint60.exe utility for upgrade.
Suppose we have made a form in 6i version without applying apps standards.
Will flint60.exe converts it to apps compatible form with apps standards ?
Please guide i am new guy in oracle apps.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Sandeep,
It is showing the same content of the dev115g developer guide. The Metalink note referenced above also explains the same, so do not expect to find much detail about it
Just i wanted t know , utility automatically add the apps standard objects to non apps form.It does not. This utility provides enhancements and applications coding standards verification to custom forms previously developed for Oracle Applications 10.7SC/NCA and 11.0.x releases. So, do not expect the utility to covert a standard form to Oracle Apps form.
One more thing , can you please explain in which scenarios we will make an custom schema in apps.
If there is any practical example will be appreciate.
Why we need to make custom schema for application like GL etc.Whenever you need to have your own application/module and you want to integrate it with Oracle Applications. In order to create a new schema, you have to consider the customization standards (which are explained in the Developer Guide). You cannot simply change the code of any standard module as Oracle will not support this, and instead you should create new (forms/reports/packages/tables ..etc) and integrate it with Oracle Applications.
Since you do not have a Metalink access, you can search this forum and Oracle Apps blogs and search for more details about customization. Few links are referenced below:

  • Error report on win 8.1 about conhost.exe and werfault.exe

I am not sure exactly what is happening, but I have noticed recently a new problem with CONHOST.EXE and werfault.exe each time I was opened application. and I didn't know exactly about was there have relationship  with my brightness  control
(increase or decrease) than I can't make any change after first time I have noticed about conhost.exe and werfault.exe. and other problem than my laptop more 'slowly' than before, but the console window will remain open fastly enough. (The host process
exists, but I can see an orphaned CONHOST.EXE for the application in Task Manager.)
I hope someone who sees this knows why this is happening, and can help me fix the problem.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
Here is the details about conhost.exe process:
    Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 R2: Console Host
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/askperf/archive/2009/10/05/windows-7-windows-server-2008-r2-console-host.aspx
    Same within Windows 8.
The werfault.exe is used for Windows Error Reporting.
You can go to event viewer to check if there are any error messages.
For this kind of issue, you may also try Clean Boot to see if this problem persists.

  • How to find help about javaw.exe interpreter?

    Hi,
I hope that someone here can help me.
I'm trying to find help about Javaw.exe command line and I wasn't able to find any document at sun.com.
basicly I want to understand what does javaw.exe -ojvm do? but I have more questions...
can someone direct me to an official guide at sun.com to all the command line.
or maybe someone can explain how to find this document at sun.com
    Thanks.

Start with the man page for java - the Java application launcher
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/tooldocs/windows/java.html
    This reads (in part):
The javaw command is identical to java, except that with javaw
there is no associated console window. Use javaw when you don't
want a command prompt window to appear. The javaw launcher will,
however, display a dialog box with error information if a launch
fails for some reason.I can't help you on the "-ojvm". question... there is no documentation for such a flag, and I've never heard of it.

  • I just did two System Restores (and clicked something that asked me about "[something -exe]," and now Firefox won't open at all.

I hope someone can help. My husband did something to update Firefox (or Firefox just automatically updated today, I don't know which), but I didn't like the new toolbar much, so I did a System Restore to get back the old one. That didn't work, so I then did another System Restore for an earlier day, but when I restarted the computer, Firefox wouldn't open at all.
A pop-up asked me something about "allowing 'something-.exe' at start-up," with options like "Remember this action, don't allow, and allow," I think, and I don't remember what I clicked, and that's likely part of the problem, but in any case, I can't get Firefox to start now. I click on the logo/icon and nothing happens.
I tried to undo both System Restores, but the computer would only restore the most recent one, not both.
And I tried, as suggested on the forum elsewhere, to go into "Firefox Safe Mode," but that didn't help either.
    Thank you for any help.

That's what happened to me too after I upgraded to firefox 4 and it wouldn't connect to my internet. Now I'm stuck with Internet Explorer with none of my important personal information like my favorites.

    SERVERCLASSPATH == weblogic.class.path
    wlconfig -Dweblogic.class.path=<path>
    should do the trick.
As for classpath, I thought wlconfig -classpath changed the whole registry
entry. Really doesn't matter that much, you only need to change theprefix
anyway. If you're doing something that requires the whole thing to be
changed, you may need to reconsider...that's a big change.
Finally, SYSTEM_PROPERTIES holds everything else. It's just being parsed
and displayed a little more "human readable".

  • About javac.exe log

I want to know Can i change the output log language to some specific language like "English"
The problem is that i am using a Traditional Chinese Windows System...
The log output from javac.exe is in Tranditional Chinese, but i don't know why it always give some "???" in it.
Some words is missing...so i decide to use English as the output..
Can anyone help me on this ? THANKS

only some characters changed to ????Is there anything common with those characters, what comes to eg. their unicode or MS950 values?
and i just want a solution...You originally wanted to replace the current traditional chinese with english in compiler messages?
Then, let's just do it. We will extract the files from tools.jar, replace the chinese property files with with english ones and re-create tools.jar.
In command prompt, go to the jdk installation directory (commonly none as java_home) Then do the following:
    cd lib
    jar -xvf tools.jar
You should get a long list of files that are at the same time being extracted from tools.jar. After it has finished, you'll see that there are three directories under the jdk's lib directory that weren't there before: META-INF, COM and SUN. These directories contain the sun's jdk classes and the property files they need.
Now comes the funny part: determining what files to modify. To make this easier, let's make a java app that does not compile:
    // file Proptest.java
    public abstract class Proptest {
    public abstract Class Proptest() {}
The compiler will complain about the abstract method having a body. The error message is stored in the property "compiler.err.abstract.meth.cant.have.body". Search for files having that string in them; you might find several.
To identify which of the property files is used by javac, add a unique identifier to the compiler.err.abstract.meth.cant.have.body of each property file. Also take notice which file contains the English "abstract methods cannot have a body" - you'll need this info later. (The files are text files and you can use just about any text editor to modify them - windoze's notepad may not be a good one, though, since the line separator the files have is \n and not \r\n, windoze's the default.)
I'm sorry I can't post a sample of the file here; I'm afraid it would be against the sun lisence agreement :-(
Then "rebuild" tools.jar (yes, still in the java_home\lib directory) with the command
    jar -cvf tools.jar com sun
This time you should see a list of files that are being included in the jar file (the list is the same one you saw before).
Now try compiling the app written above:
    javac Proptest.java
From the identifier you just added to the error message you can deduce what was the property file javac used. Rename that particular file to something else, make a copy of the file that contains the error messages in English, and rename the copy so that it'll have the name of the file that javac uses.
Again, rebuild tools.jar (you can omit the "v" in -cvf if you don't want to see the file list) and compile the app. Do you see the error message written in English?
The rest of the jdk tools still use Chinese; you might want to do the above hack to them, too.

  • Question about pushprinterconnections.exe

We have some library computers that lose their printer connections from time to time. These Dell OptiPlex 9010's log into a wireless network. Sometimes I run gpupdate /force and that will bring back the printers and sometimes it does not work and simple
reboot will work.  My question what does the pushprinterconnections.exe do?
Sometimes we've had to just reimage the workstations in the library through SCCM 2012because the printers don't show up at all.  Is there a Microsoft utility we can run that will restore the printers other than running gpupdate?

    Hello Mr Mike2,
Please explain a bit about the following questions for better analyzation:
    1. I wonder if those few computers have this issue?
    2. Please check if you can ping the IP address of the printer when the gpupdate /force not work.
We need to check the network connection from the computers to the printer.
Additionally, please take a look at the following article about troubleshooting.
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/printer-problems-in-windows-help#fix-printer-problems=windows-7&v1h=win8tab1&v2h=win7tab1&v3h=winvistatab1&v4h=winxptab1
    Run the printer troubleshooter.
    Update the driver.
To receive better support about printer, it is recommended to seek help from the print forum.

  • Error message about photoshopserver.exe

Since i installed Photoshop Elements 12, out of nowhere (i.e. sometimes I have even started the photoshop program), I get the Windows message: Title is : Font Capture: PhotoshopServer.exe Application error. The message is : The instruction 0x1045b286 referenced memory at 0x00000df4 The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate the program. I am not sure what it impacts, except all my Adobe programs seem to be very slow. Any suggestions to fix this?

Without system information nobody can even begin to guess. However, since it prominently mentions fonts, you could start by checking your installed fonts and weeding them out. Perhaps there are simply too many, perhaps there's a "bad" one like a poorly designed freeware font or a legacy PostScript font or some such thing...

  • Attempting to install update 3.6.9. Norton AV issues warning about "updater.exe" (no knowledge of). Is it OK to proceed?

A websearch on "updater.exe" lists plenty of entries that suggest this file could be a virus, trojan horse, malware, etc. So I instructed Norton to prevent updater.exe from executing, which of course prevents the 3.6.9 update from being installed. Is it safe to tell Norton to proceed?
    Thank you.

Firefox does use a file called updater.exe to perform the update. If you get the warning from Norton after selecting "Help > Check for Updates" in Firefox, this will be the Firefox updater and will be safe to proceed.

  • What about aerender.exe?

Hi! This is not a question but a suggetsion. Maybe some others have made it and maybe it's silly or something but I think it's something important.
Once a friend (after fx user) told theres was a little piece of software called aerender.exe that allowed you to make renders outside after fx and thus you could keep working on the program at the same time, and it also didn't consume as much memory while working. It was like making the render through a DOS window. This soft is inside after fx folder in program files.
He explained me how to use it but it was no use. I can't program DOS and since any mistake would make it fail, it was quite hard to prepare the renders in aerender.exe.
    So, my question is:
Since this render program is so useful, fast and memory low; how is it that afterfx doesnt include an option to trhow the renders through this soft separately so we don't have to write in DOS? something like preparing your render queue in afterfx and the launching it in aerender?
    that's what I wonder.
    thanks for reading

  • LogonUI.exe, can't see it in task manager anymore, dose it mean its not running?

after i tried to solve the issue with 26 csrss.exe running, it seemed to meany, i no longer see LogonUI.exe in task manager.
    forum posts from csrss.exe topic.
    Post 1
i tried process explorer & trying stuff with that i opened a new csrss.exe & that works under my user not system & i cant kill that process (i double clicked on it), after restart it goes away? or should i just pull the cable out? i mane sudden
shut down, status suspended, but it is on the list in task manager, how to get rid off it, end progress tree?
it just it did not have any info about csrss, so i tried to open it with process explorer, but that thing did not do what i though, that's why it all happened.
it also opened new Client server runtime process, i guess that csrss.exe under user is still in task manager list.
    Post 2
restart solved the issue, at least it seems so, also that incident removed 24 csrss.exe from task manager, i had 26 running new i have only 2, i did it just to find out that maybe i can remove the csrss.exe what i opened after restart, but i did not expect
this result, maybe this what some call zombie processes, they were in use once & when the process stopped they were stuck?
some processes disappeared, example LogonUI.exe is no longer running, i had 25 LogonUI.exe running before, with restart it booted, i hope that PC will start tomorrow to, i hope i did not mess up something & it wont start,
or i messed up PC security, made security holes.
    Another forum
    Post 1
u have no idea what happened, i got both Process Monitor & explorer, i messed up double clicked on csrss.exe & that opened a new csrss.exe in task manager under my user, then i tried to kill the process, but it only suspended it, then i was thinking
maybe after restart it lets me remove it totally from task manager, i made restart & what do i see when i open task manager? i see only 2 csrss.exe running, LOL sometimes messing up fixes the problem.
maybe this what some call zombie processes, they were in use once & when the process stopped they were stuck?
but all csrss.exe seemed legitimate, & no infection.
    Post 2
does LogonUI.exe really run right new? is it just not showing? if its not running then i would have error message or problems with display? it would be funny if tomorrow i have all the 26 csrss.exe back.
is LogonUI.exe running & just hidden, was it normal that LogonUI.exe was shown in task manager before? or is it  normal when its hidden? will it effect gaming? cant test, no games installed right new.
but csrss.exe is not the only process that has more then 2 running & some over 10, one i counted it is 25.
ok this are gone to, maybe this were connected to csrss.exe issue, but i have 10 svchost.exe, this should be normal?
some processes disappeared, example LogonUI.exe is no longer running (well it seems it is no longer running, cause its no longer shown in task manager), i had 25 LogonUI.exe running before, with restart it booted, i hope
that PC will start tomorrow to, i hope i did not mess up something & it wont start, or i messed up PC security, made security holes.
i know some of my post i copied here repeat some things i said before, i copied the post cause i was thinking that it will help people to understand my situation better :).
& i only double clicked on csrss.exe in windows system32 & created a new process, & i did end task to it & it was only suspended not killed, there was 2 win explores opened, one was cause i double clicked csrss.exe trough explorer, well u
can see the files with out it, i was unable to remove it so i made a restart, & some processes were gone after that.
i wonder did i mess up my windows & stopped some necessary progresses? despite the fact that PC is running, & seem to be running fine.
csrss.exe was running 25 times & csrss.exe was running 26 times, but there was more processes that were running more then 3 times & they are gone to.
if some processes i don't see any more are necessary i hope they at least run on background silently, is LogonUI.exe meant to run all the time like it did before? or only for few sec on log-on/start-up? so user never see it.
PC seems to run fine right new, i did that stuff yesterday.
i also have alienautopsy  & PC-Doctor to what is part of alienautopsy, i mentioned it in case it matters, also when i got in windows i so some strange process for few sec in task manager, its icon looked like computer chip, cant remember the process
name, but if i remember correctly it was DLL or Intel process.
under what name is LogonUI.exe admin tools service? i could check it from there, if u think its necessary

well LogonUI.exe is listed on my task manager again, i mean its back, & about csrss, i have 3 running, i had 2 running yesterday (in task manager all 3 are running under system), with process explorer, it did not matter which of the csrss info i looked,
all is same, all are runede by same processes, i could not copy that info under environment, but what i remember is, one was a  Invidia Pshysx, second & 3th was something to do with Intel, then i remember powershel, all that i remember, not worried
about csrss yet, cause its still just 3, but i wonder about LogonUI.exe, for some reason i can't add picture/screenshot here
dunno is it all normal or not, but i write it down here just in case, no problems with high memory nor cpu usage, PC seems to run normally
if its not normal i have no idea whats causing it, i guess i need to just w8 a year or so before i give my PC to shop for maintenance, cause this is beyond me i think, cause no infections found & PC seems to run & function normally, maybe its caused
by some old registry entries, i know registry cleaners are dangerous & can harm windows, so i think windows team should create their own reg cleaner free ware that finds only unnecessary reg entries that are no longer needed, a safe reg cleaner, also it
mite be software issue/bug like example Invidia maybe is creating to meany hosts or how are this things called, csrss is connected to host service as far as i know, same goes for powershell & others that use csrss.exe, or windows bug, or bug that is caused
by both, win8.1 & this drivers, well that's just a guess
maybe its a bug, system has problems with removing some closed processes from the list, or shutting town the ones that were suppose to run temporarily?
maybe i should ignore it until it starts to cause problems? i mean hit performance in a negative way
    i also noticed 2 dwm.exe & winlogon.exe running
i used Ccleaner, but not for registry, i cleaned internet temporary files system temporary files event logs & memory dumbs & so on & on (its to much writing to write down all it cleans), if some of this type of files what are deleted with
that, can it cause some processes to multiply? maybe among this files is a file where its written example what processes should be running or which process is connected to which process, like the Path & stuff, so registry cleaning is not the only cleaning
that can cause issues?  or is it
coincidence that after cleaning next day i see 1 extra csrss.exe &
dwm.exe & winlogon.exe? either way i don't know do i want to test it & use cleaner 5 days after today again, does windows delete this things i mentioned i cleaned with cclener automatically over time? either way, i think i won't try anything
to solve the extras issue, but if the number of this processes grows & it starts to cause problems i may just take the PC to a expert
PC seems to run & respond normally
    EDIT 21/10/2014:
today there is 2 csrss.exe & the other processes are back to 1 as well & LogonUI.exe is gone again, well i did not look processes when i turned PC on, i did it after restart, maybe it accrues after boot when win opens, that some processes remain
    & some are double
is it normal that when i'm not doing anything with PC it takes 19% memory after PC start until i shut down & after restart it takes 16% memory (when i use restart button in windows), does this mean start up requires more memory & processes that
    remain running after start-up?

  • System (ntoskrnl.exe) high cpu usage in Windows 8.1

    Sir/Mam,
I'm having this issue since last week, when i checked it is the "system" (ntoskrnl.exe) file which is using upto 18-24% of my CPU and causing all other applications to stutter for a second (incluuding Media player, mouse pointer, everything).
By using a Process Explorer software i found out that it's related to these values running under that file:
    " ntoskrnl.exe!RtlSidHashLookup+0x1ffc  "
It slows down my PC for a second and it happens after every 5-6 seconds (approx.).
    Using Microsoft Windows 8.1
    Lenovo Z50-70
    Need help.

    Hi,
The WPA shows that it is WmiPrvSE.exe (WMI Provider Host)that occupies up to 20% CPU, and three threads are the causes, 8328\7988\8828. but hard to find deeper information from this, so please use process Explorer or process monitor to find more information
about WmiPrvSE.exe and the 3 threads, you can refer to this link

Regarding to the wireless or LAN driver, I suggest you update the driver to latest version if it doesn't work fine.
