I Have a Mac App Game called GRID Racing Game I Bought from The Apple Mac App Store about a Year ago but i have not been able to play it cause I Have Notifications Center Enabled on My Apple iMac Computer so I Want to go out & buy a XBOX & or PS4 Controller & I Wanted to know will those Controllers work on these Apple iMac Computers? cause I Been reading they can, The Game i want to use GRIP Racing Game say's They can take an XBOX Wired Controller so i wanna go on Amazon Website & buy an XBOX Wired Controller but i just wanted to be sure that these Gaming Controllers for XBOX & PS4 Will also work on an Apple iMac Computer? just making sure???

ok I Have TechTool Pro 8 on My 2009 24inch Apple iMac Computer & I Ran The Sensor Test on My 2009 Apple iMac Computer & it say's it Failed The Test so what can i do to Fix that problem??? or can i Fix the problem???

I'm not really having any problems at all, but I Do use TechTool Pro to do tests sometimes & Today I Upgraded to TechTool Pro 8 & before I Was on 7 & everything was always working great but This Sensor test is New to TechTool Pro 8 & I Ran the Test & 6 SENSORS Failed so i wanted to know why??? & if it's a Serious Problem i'm having??? I'm just doing Tests like I Always do in TechTool Pro & also I Alway's had TechTool Pro in My Apple iMac Computer since I Bought it in 2009 in July, it came in The Apple Protection Plan I Had when I Bought My Apple iMac Computer & it Allowed Me to alway's Upgrade after that
I Always do Test on TechTool Pro like once a week & i never had problems with nothing

A parallel query, if you please: I have several USB devices hooked to my iMAC (Late 2012 running OS X Mavericks) How do I determine if any of them are USB3? I think my 1TB HDD (not from Apple store) MAY be USB 3 but I'm nor sure. Does it have to be plugged into the Left-most USB recepticle? I am told that DVD/CD burners are NEVER USB 3 because rhey are limited by the maximum rototional speed and servo mechanics.

just now A Blank Gray Screen Came on when i was on Apple iTunes & I Was Downloading Music & Syncing My Music & Music Video's to My Apple iPod Classic 160GB & then it said it had to Restart My iMac Computer cause of a problem & i pressed ok & words came on the screen to but it did Restart My iMac Computer & i'm back on now & this is My 1st time this has happened & i'm running Mac OS X 10.9.1 Mavericks so is this normal? or is my iMac Computer ready to fail? & also a little screen box came up telling me to Report it to Apple so i did that so i wanted to know if this is normal & that if anyone else had the Same Problem as I Did?
Everything is back to normal now.

Well, when you're going through the first setup on the new one, there is a window that comes up that asks if you want to import anything (from another Mac, or other source), so you'd connect your old Mac to the new one and then should be able to transfer stuff. The new ones have a new kind of port (Thunderbolt), so you'd need a cable with a firewire port on one end and a Thunderbolt on the other for that - or, if you have a firewire cable, you can get an adapter for the one end. If you have it on the Gdrive, you can transfer from there too. Time Machine would be a good thing for you to use or a clone (use CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper for it).
Anyway, if all you want to transfer are some files, you could also just drag (copy) them over. Here is some good information:

I Have an G-Technology G-Drive 1TB Drive so how do I Erase The Entire Drive & Start everything back up Empty again & then start Backing Up My Entire Computer to The G-Drive again? cause i'm running out of Room meaning it's not gonna let me back everything up no more cause it's telling me i'm full now or not enough space to make a Copy of My iMac Computer Hard Drive to go onto The G-Drive this is The Last thing i have trouble with then everything else by now is working Fantastic & i'm enjoying My iMac Computer & I Won't be around much anymore only if i have problems other then that i'm good well peace & have a nice night.

I've forgotten: how big is your G Drive?
To start, you can just erase the whole thing; go to Disk Utility and you will see a window like this:
The top entry on the left is my iMac drive; the highlighted one is my external drive. Click on your G Drive top entry and then hit erase - read the instructions if necessary.
When it's finished, make sure you still show the GUID Partition Scheme at the bottom like this:
You need that and, under "Format" in the middle of the window, it must show "Mac OS Extended Journaled". Those two are very important.
If you want to have more than one partition after that, we'll tackle that next - but I need to know how you want to divide it and what the separate parts are for (bootable clone or Time Machine or ??).

iTunes syncing generally goes one way, from the iTunes library on the computer to the iPod.
You cannot transfer song files from iPod to computer using iTunes, except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store. However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do an Internet search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
Once the song files are on your computer, you can add them to your Mac's iTunes library.
If you still have access to your old computer with your previous iTunes library, a more complete way to transfer your iTunes library is from computer to computer. You can post back if this is possible and you want to do it.

Nomad Zen Extra for Apple iMac Intel Dual C

I've looked in the FAQ, tried the download section of support, and cannot find any software for my Nomad Zen Extra to run on a new Apple iMac Intel Dual Core. The new machine uses OS X 0.4, and there seems to be nothing at all.
I also tried loading the software from the disk, and it didn't work (no surprise there since it's all Windows software).
Can anyone offer any suggestions, or do I have to go buy an Apple iPod?

Why wasn't I warned about this when I purchased the device? There's nothing on the packaging or inserts to point out that the device WILL NOT WORK if one switches to an Apple iMac.

Assuming your model is MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011) - Technical Specifications or MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2010) - Technical Specifications, go to Boot Camp: System requirements for Microsoft Windows operating systems - Apple Support and download the appropriate drivers for the OS you want to install. It should also have the nVidia MCP drivers.

Difficult to say without seing the machine. It sounds as if you installed the SSD drive yourself. If that is the case you may have voided the guarantee and Apple Care extended warranty.
If Apple installed the drive, all should be well. Apple hardware and work usually carries a 12 month guarantee.
