When i load up Photoshop CS6 it loads up the Administrators Account for some reason and it is quiet irritating if someone can help please respond as i would like to continue using Photoshop.
If you are using someone else's computer, then you need to get the Admin to sign in so you can run PS.
If it's your own computer, then you need to know the Admin's password so you can work. Better yet, YOU need to be the Admin. -
Finally upgrading to 10.6 from 10.5.8. What do I need to do about drivers for my epson photo printer and nikon slide scanner? May be going all the way to 10.8.

my question is why the listener's names are same even though thy are on different ports?
and for people worrying, why i have installed 10 n 11 is
Initally only oracle 11g was installed on my system. Later, I was learning forms for first time and i have to connect to database frm developer suite 10g. so i installed oracle 10g database.The names are the same because that is the way you created them.
If you want to make a change use NETCA to drop and recreate one of them.
Just make sure you've defined ORACLE_HOME correctly before you do it. -
About ODMr for product design and development.
how ODMr can be used to find patterns of desingers' behaviors when they create new design for a product?
In general, designers tend to change their design to satisfy needs required by customers or technicians.
Is ODMr able to find which design parameters are most contributive to the performance of a product?
Is it ok to use Decision Tree if I have hypothesis space for desing parameters and training data?
I want to use ODMr to improve R&D process.
But I'm sure it is a smart way to use ODMr for product design and development.
If anyone has good idea or other algorithm available for that field, please let me know~~

The next question is if you are doing web design do you really need a retina display. At this time only apple has them so everyother computer viewing your web designs wouldn't see the difference, if there is any to begin with. -
HT201360 What about updates for 10.7 and 10.8?
We have a US Gov't web application that currently requires Java 6. Unfortunately the recent update disabled Java 6 on 10.7 and 10.8, but the updater for Java 1.6.0_39 only works on 10.6. Any clues on when we might see an update for 10.7 and/or 10.8? Alternatively, does anyone know of a way to use the 10.6 updater on 10.7 and/or 10.8?

updated my mac to mountain lion 10.7.8.3 and now my app store, mail or facetime won't open. Also, I am not longer able to play videos through firefox. I tried downloading the combo for mountain lion and it refuses to install saying that I need to see developer. Whenever I try to open my appstore, mail or facetime it says that the programmes need to be installed and might not be compatible with this version of mac operating system. Can anyone help me?
It's not a bad install of Mountain Lion. I've had the same thing happen to me, but it affected not only Mail, but a variety of other programs including iPhoto and MS Office, where I had to delete preferences, caches, and reinstall the OS as well as the program itself. I'm still having issues with Mail, so I've gone to another program.
Everything was fine upon the initial install. I restarted my iMac about two weeks after the install, and that's when the issues began to happen. I've reinstalled Mountain Lion twice, but the same issues arise.
As I mentioned above, you'll need to figure out which preferences are causing the issue, then reinstall the program, as a fresh reinstallation will do you no good unless you wipe the drive completely.

FInally I got my AppleTV and connected it to my TV and network , sadly it took me hours until I succeed to activate airplay after finding out in some forum that I need to reset my network connections and the airplay icon will appear , happily it happend and I start looking for answers regarding the huge lag in mirroring stage ( which still huge problem that have to be solve after I will solve the airplay disappear issue) .
after 10 min the airplay icon disappear at my IPad and iPhone and even resetting the network connection is not helping , please please please some one help !!!Avielofer wrote:

It's not necessary, but is a good troubleshooting step. How to do so varies from brand to brand. Look at the manufacturers website, they should have a manual available that explains how to access the settings and change it.

I have Photoshop for the IPad and my file won't load, can anyone help?
I have the iOS app for adobe Photoshop and I stopped working on my project for a bit, went back to access it (I did save before hand) and it won't load, the loading animation is all that shows and nothing else. It's been doing this for 30 minutes or so. I've tried refreshing, shutting the app and turning it on, shutting off my iPad and turning it on again and nothing.
We don't deal with IOS applications in this forum at all, only with Photoshop proper for Mac and for Windows.
Are you on something like Adobe Photoshop Touch for tablet?

First thing to try is to connect it to the charger that came with it and plug that into the wall outlet. Let it charge for an hour. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. If the. Phone starts up continue with the setup procedure.
If the phone still does respond Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -

My iCloud storage is almost full. I saved my pictures to my computer and deleted about 500 from my phone. My iCloud storage didn't move at all, it still says it's almost full. What can I do?

Size difference for expdp estimate and from data dictionaries
Hello
We have one large table with around 70 million rows and when we check size of this table using query as below
select sum(bytes)/1024/1024/1024 "size in GB" from user_segments where segment_name='MYTABLE';
we got expected size 17GB.
However, when we exported the table using EXPDP it showed estimated size as 34GB.
Can anyone help me identifying why the diffrence is there for expected tablesize in GB?
Note: Table consits of BLOB datatype column

BLOCKS - The estimate is calculated by multiplying the number of database blocks used by the target objects times the appropriate block sizes.
dba_lob_partition will give you more accurate info.
