About N-step approve for SC item issue

Dear all,
We used application controll workflow,And active the WS14500015 N-step approve for SC item, and imp the BADI,Now our issue:
SC have two items, there are approve step:
item1   approver01      approver02    approver03      3 step approve,
item2   approver11      approver12                          2 step approve.
When order the SC,user approver01 can receive the task about item1, user approver11 can receive   the tast about item2,Now user approver01 approve his task,if user approver11 didn't approve his task, then about item1's workflow will hold it,the system didn't triger the next step to user approver02,if user approver11 approve his task, then item1 's workflow triger the next step to user approver02 and item2's workflow tiger the next step to user approver12.
who can help me,why the system flow this logic?
We need the logic's :user approver01 approve his task,if user approver11 didn't approve  or did approve his task, then about item1's workflow allways triger the next step to user approver02.

Hi,
It is designed that way.
When item 2 is rejected, requester may want to change item 1. So WF should wait for creating next level workitem until all items are rejected/approved.

    Dear Yadav,
-Activate insp type 10 in the Material Master-QM view insp setup (MM01)
-Create Inspection plan (QP01) with usage as Goods issue & assign Insp characteristics
    -Create Sales order (VA01)
-Delivery against the Sales order (VL01N) or through sales order menu. Delivery Insp lot gets created after Delivery is made.
-Do results recording and take usage decision (QA32)

  • Workflow-status is awaiting approval for rejected item

    Hello,
I am working on SRM 5.5. Extended classic scenario.
I have implemented the workflow WS1400133 for 3-step SC approval ( using the corresponding BADI) .
I have an issue , where, if the shopping cart is rejected by one of the approvers, then the approval overview shows result : REJECTED , however, the approval status in the ( approval transaction) , shows the workflow status as 'AWATING APPROVAL'.
So, the user cannot modify the shopping cart to resubmit for approval.
Any inputs as to why this is happening and any solution to this ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Aravind Nair.

    Hi Arvind,
When the SC is rejected ,the total value fo the SC becomes 0.Have you set the  parameter "no_further_approval_needed" for this condition(for rej items)?
ALso refer the note 790027.Hope this helps.

  • Process Controlled Workflow - 1-step approval for shopping cart approval

    Hi,
I have configured a one-level approval for SC (Process Controlled Workflow):
    Object Type: BUS2121
Additional 1 level under schema: 3C_SC_600_000 (the last level is the automatic approval)
    Level Type: Approval with completion
    Eval ID: 0EV_SC_SL1
    RR Name: RR_SPENDING_LIMIT_APPROVER
RR Param: USTONY.Y (I hardcoded it using my user ID, for the moment)
Task ID: 40007953 (I have checked, it's generalized as well)
Decision Type: Item-based decision for entire document
    For PPOMA_BBP:
    Under my org unit (Position):
    Approval Limit: 1000
    Output Limit: 1000
I didn't do any BADI implementations yet.
During creation of SC by other user, before "Order" the SC, the approval preview can show correctly that the Processor is as indicated in the config.
Once the SC is ordered, the whole step is gone and the event linkage becoming delinked (because there is error, and according to the config in SWEQADM).
However, I cannot find the workitem (no workitem generated) and SLG1 does not give any clue whatsoever.
I tried debugging method APPROVAL_LIMIT, and it seems fine as well.
Please help, what did I do wrong here?
    Thanks,
    Tony Y

    Hi Sahil,
I even changed to first process level to:
    Level Type: Approval
    Eval ID: 0EV000
    RR Name: RR_MANAGER
    RR Param: (Blank)
Task ID: 40007953 (I have checked, it's generalized as well)
Decision Type: Decision for entire document
    Under PPOMA_BBP:
I made myself as a head of the org unit with the role manager.
The requester is "Exclude" the role manager.
The agent can be determined now.
But the workitem ID is still cannot be generated. It's always no workitem generated.
    Please everyone, any help?
    Thanks in advance,

  • Offline approval for line item based Shopping carts

    Hi ,
We are planning to  use offline approval and line item based approval (item based approval workflow) for shopping carts.
For e.g. 10 line items in a cart can have 10 different  cost centres, and a line each need to go to respective cost centre managers for approval.
    have few clarifications:
    1. Can offline approval be used for item based shopping cart approval workflow?
    2. Can different line items be sent by mail to different mail boxes?
    3.  Will 1 manager see all the 10 line items OR only the 1  line item for which he is responsible?
    4. If he will get only line for which he is responsible , and once he clicks on approve , will this approval apply to his line item only , OR it will apply to all the 10 line items ?
    Rgds
    Sumendra

    Hi Sumedra,
Which workflow are you using - application or process contrlled workflow?
Assuming you are using process-controlled workflow - I will answer following questions -
    1. Can offline approval be used for item based shopping cart approval workflow?
    - Yes, it can be used !
    2. Can different line items be sent by mail to different mail boxes?
    Yes
    3. Will 1 manager see all the 10 line items OR only the 1 line item for which he is responsible?
1 manager can 'see' all the items but he can only approve or reject the item that he is suppose to act on. All other item will be grayed out. However, this behaviour is configuarable !
    4. If he will get only line for which he is responsible , and once he clicks on approve , will this approval apply to his line item only , OR it will apply to all the 10 line items ?
    - see above

  • Approval for material return issued against the Work Order

    Hello,
We are using PM module and issuing materials against the work order.  Many times users are returning the un-used material back to stores.  This un-used material may come back <b>with or without</b> work order reference.  i.e. Sometimes they just return bunch of material but don't know the work order # against it was issued initially.
We need to control this flow of un-used return material through proper system approval.
    How can do this.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
In standard SAP There is no approval process to return the material.
I have one work around , you can create one PM order to return the material & instruct your store people to receive the material only with reference to PM order.
With out releasing a PM order, system will not allow to post the goods return.
I hope it may help you.

  • HT202656 verification code not sent to my iPhone (Sprint) for two-step verification for apple id

I have tried to set up two-step verification several times using iCloud, first my iMac and then, when that didn't work, on my iPhone, all to no avail. I followed the instructions up to and including the step where the message says I will receive an SMS on my iPhone with a verification code. I never received the message with the verification code.
I am using Sprint as my internet provider and working with an iMac with Mavericks 10.9.5 as the operating system and iPhone 6 with IOS 8.2

    Hey dagored,
Thanks for the question. I would recommend completing the two-step verification process and then changing the SMS number associated once you upgrade:

  • Workflow issue : N step Item level approval for SC

    Hello Friends,
We are working on SRM 4.0 , classic scenario , SP11.
Here we are facing a typical issue in workflow. We are using Nstep approval for SC.
    In the standard task TS14508044, the work item text is "Approval of SC ".The shopping cart value is being populated by container element &amp;APPOBJ.OBJECTTOAPPROVE.TOTALVALUESTRING&amp;
This same container element is used to populate the shopping cart value in the task description. However what we observe is that in the workflow log, the container element APPOBJ is initial.
How is the total value of the shopping cart populated then?
Also, the value of the shopping cart in the work item text and the work item description is in different currency format.
The shoppng cart value in the work item text is in the format 12,34,567.89 whereas that in the description is in the format
    12.934.567,8
    Appreciate your inputs on this.

    Thanks Masa,
For your valuable suggestion. Now after changing the WF-BATCH settings there is consistency in the currency format.
Now the question is how we can change into the currency format of the user ?
The user format is 1,234,567. 89 but still work item text and
description is in 1.234.567, 89 format.
    Thank you

    Dear Lavanya,
The material should be first reeived to Inventort then transferred to projects
Ex        100 Quantity is Received @ 10 Each - Inventory Material value will be 1000   Unit Price 10
Now     10 Quantity is Issued(Samples) @ 0 each -       Inventory material Value will be 1000   Unit Price  11.11
Now Transfer the remaining quantity to Projects i,e 90 quantity, & inventory material value will be 1000, unit price will be 11.11 (Use Project related Misc Transaction for Project Issues)
Even though material is issued with 0 unit price A/c entries will be generated
    Dr. Given A/c
    Cr. Inventory material value A/c
Here first the material is directly received into Inventory (Not related to projects organization) Miscellaneous Issue (For samples) is done with 0 unit cost after that The material is transferred to projects (Project Issues)
For Miscellaneous Issue (Samples Issue) a Personalization is need to done such that the Unit price will be freeze to 0.

  • N-step approval process for PO in SRM 7

Here are a couple of questions I have regarding N-Step approval configuration for PO in SRM 7 Process Controlled Workflow:
    1) It's our business requirement that the last-change person of the PO is defined as the first approver in the chain. I tested with RR_EMPLOYEE and a hard-coded user BP number (my own), but got error "Strategy RR_EMPLOYEE did not determine any approver". Changing to any other user's BP number worked. So I am guessing the buyer himself can not be an approver. Since this is a business requirement, we wouldn't mind developing enhancement to work around this restriction. If you could point me to the place where this is checked, that would help me.
    2) I have set up the process level configuration as such:
100     ZEV_PO_SL_APPR_001     PO  approval level 1     RR_EMPLOYEE     Specify Employee for Approval
200     ZEV_PO_SL_APPR_002     PO  approval level 2     RR_MANAGER     Get Creator's Line Manager for Approval
300     ZEV_PO_SL_APPR_003     PO  approval level 3     RR_MANAGER     Get Creator's Line Manager for Approval
The corresponding expressions are simply checking against the PO total value, such as -
    0V_PO_POTOTALVALUE >= 0 AND 0V_PO_POTOTALVALUE < 1,000
    0V_PO_POTOTALVALUE >= 1,000 AND 0V_PO_POTOTALVALUE < 25,000
    0V_PO_POTOTALVALUE >= 25,000
But when I checked the Approver list with a PO with total value > 50,000, only the first level is triggered and listed. And once approved, the PO went into "Ordered" status. But it should have gone through 3 levels of approval. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could point out what might have been wrongly defined in my configuration.
    Thanks!

SAP recently released the consultant OSS note to handle this issue.. when the release the SRM 7.0 , SC requestor or PO creator ( Buyer ) cant be in the approval list.. later on they release a OSS note to handle this issue.. 1551561\

once you implement the OSS note Q1, you can build the custom RR resolver to handle this issue with in one process level.. but you have to implement the process level BADI as well.. please refer /SAPSRM/BD_WF_PROCESS_PO badi for more details

  • Goods Issue error - batches not defined for delivery item

    Hi,
We are getting a Goods Issue error  u201CThe batches are not defined for delivery item 000010u201D.   We are only getting this error for a material that is being shipped against a particular third party sales scheduling agreement.  We went live in 2007 and we had no issues, but when we had to create a new Sched Agreement this year, for third party sales, we started to get this error.  However, if we re-activate the old scheduling agreement we do not get the error.  We have a batch job that executes the following steps:
    1.     VL06IG (collective goods receipt)
    2.     VL10 (collective delivery)
    3.     VL06O (collective GI)
We have compared the 2 scheduling agreements and see no difference.  We are assuming it has something to do with how the scheduling agreement was setup, but are not sure.  Any suggestions on how to correct this problem would be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Helen

    Dear Murali,
The material has not changed at all.  I'm not sure what you mean by maintaining batches while receipt of the material.
If I re-open the old scheduling agreement, we do not get the error message.  However, as soon as we use the new SD scheduling agreement, we get the error.  We are using the same material master on both scheduling agreements.
    Thanks,
    Helen
