About Promotion Packs.

Dear Experts,
Greetings from Dubai !
I am looking for a standard step by step process for the following scenario:
Scenerio 1:
At times we have some finished products, which we need to send to a vendor for making promotion packs. In Simple terms, suppose we have the finished material A,B and C, and we want these to be shrink wrapped to make promo- packs (3 in 1).
No. of promotional packs: 100, each containing ( materials A, B and C in the ratio of 1:1:1)
Material
Quantity
Batch
A
100
    10001
B
100
    10002
C
100
     10003
Batch Management is active.
Hope for quick responses !
Regards,
Malik Abrar Altaf.

Dear experts,
Thanks for the Comments.
The problem is that we cannot create a new code for the 3 in 1 pack, because every product has to be approved by a legal agency. Since all the finished products, have already been registered under the legal agency, we don't want to create new codes otherwise we have to get them approved as well, which means it will be a hassle every time if we are thinking about some promo-packs in future as well.
Also there will be a lot of combinations for the shrinked product, sometimes it will be a combo  of :
a:b:c, d:e:f, a:d:b and so on..
Is there any other alternative for making this scenario workable.
Regards,
Malik Abrar Altaf

  • Question about auto packing

    Hello,
as i saw the post about auto packing in delivery
the config steps are described as follow
    1) Create the packing Material In MM01 of material Type 'VERP'
    2) Create packing Instructions from TA: POP1
    3) packing Determination in POF1 ... for MM Condition type is RCPT and for SD its is SHIP. So create condition records here.
    4) In Customization SPRO-> Logistic Execution-> Shipping-> Deliveries->Define Delivery Types
In Delivery, there is Check box for automatic packing.
First , i tried to create condition value in POF1 for SHIP as condition type and put my Packing instruction e.g. 233 into it.
but it wont work in my delivery e.g. LF.
secondly I tried to create in POF1 for ZVPA, with my Packing Instruction 233, and then it works in my delivery.
So my question is, the condition type for HU/ Auto Packing, how are they connected to my documents/ processes e.g. I use OR as sales order, and LF as delivery.
in the Picture below, i can see both condition type SHIP and ZVPA are using SHIP as acc.sequence. So which condition would be used when I create my delivery ? and how to configure that?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    this defined in custo:
Click on maintain packing transaction profile and the select for instance 0002 Outbound delivery
Here is defined what procedure determination will be used in entry field Determ. proc. for pkg intrs
Then you define for this procedure what conditions will be available
Select the procedure determination you defined in previous step and you maintain the conditions

  • NVIDIA GeForce 7800GT: is just about to pack in - HELP

NVIDIA GeForce 7800GT: is just about to pack in - fan is running like a lawnmower. It is the card that came with original comp.
Have new Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card - which is suitable for my G5 Quad - Machine Name: Power Mac G5 Quad Machine Model: PowerMac11,2 CPU Type: PowerPC G5 (1.1) - problem is - fitting it. The new card comes with Y connection cables - that need to be connected to the cd/dvd drive to get it's power.
MAJOR PROBLEM - the cable sets for the optical drive - are old - and bear no resemblance to the Y cable set for new card in that the power in/out are combined into 1 cable - not a male/female needed??? I only have 1 optical drive bay???
Hoping someone has experienced this when upgrading graphics card - and found a fix for cable problem?

I'm scared to say it - but here Goes - SUCCESS.............
    Firstly, maybe My Quad was built on a Friday or a Monday - cos what should have taken a jittery old man like my myself - 30 mins - ended up as 2 hours +. The pics are all correct in the help sections - and the fan is UNBELIEVABLE - however - there is one snag;
    Secondly, if u suffer from nerves - get a techie to do it - or at least a computer inards savvy person. It is, fiddely - nerve racking - and needs a few modifications + patience;
    Thirdly - if u or someone else does it - _*take off*_ the aluminium cradle - the card sits on - or you'll end up in all sorts of bother - it will need modification once u have the fan fitted so;
Fourthly, the end of the cradle that slides into the support groove - hacksaw/cut off at the 3rd screw = L__here so 2 screw holes left on the supporting front edge and 1 corner hole left - why? -
Finally, my 1st attempt was a failure - because I didn't do Fourthly. The card wasn't fully supported - and must have slipped it's connections - and/or it may have temporarily shorted. It is vital you keep the card supported and level.
My graphics have improved - I kid you not. My Graphics chip now runs at 43-45c - before the new fan >84c+ and even up to 110c at a scary time.
AND IT IS SO QUIET - thank you Japamac - without your guidance and suggestions - it would have been a very expensive - back up computer. Best regards, B

  • One (last!) question about SL "packs"

I've read many of the questions about the $29 upgrade vs. the "box" - and the "family" pack, too. I am confused! I have an Intel desktop iMac running 10.4.11. I also have a MacBook running 10.5. Do I have to buy all three of these products to get both machines on the same version of the OS?

You can by the "upgrade" ($29 US), and the "box-set" ($169 US) for a completely legit upgrade and both will then be running Snow Leopard.
Alternatively you can by the only "box-set" family pack, and both machines can run Snow Leopard and iLife 09 and iWork 09.

    Hi,
netBeans has its mobility pack, but does the Studio Ent. have one appropriate for using with them?

Mobility pack can be downloaded from netbeans.org and installed on studio ent 8. (Since jse 8 is based on nb41, you should download the installer for netbeans4.1).

  • A question about Jam Pack language

    Hi there,
This may be a silly question, but I figure I had better ask it, because when a software package is opened, you own it, right?
I live in Germany, and I was in the local Mac dealer's, looking at the Jam Packs. I want the Symphony Orchestra pack, but was told that the version they had on hand in the shop was only in German. As my OS is in English (as is my version of Logic Express) will my computer have any problem reading and categorizing the Audio Instruments and loops if they are auf Deutsch? I don't want to open up the pack only to find that the Loop Browser can't categorize the instruments/loops, and then not get my money back.
OTOH, a large-ish online music store here in Germany sells the Jam Packs, and gives the same product number on their German and English pages for the same item. This makes me wonder whether or not the Jam Pack will install in the language of one's OS, and that only the documentation is only in German.
Does anyone have any experience with this issue?
    Many Thanks!
    Vielen Dank!
    Glenn

The pianos do sound very nice, although I can't justify €250.00 on that right now. I still need to get a RME FF400, and a FW HDD.
Oh, and probably EZ Drummer, as well, unless someone has had an ugly experience with it.
Oh, and Logic Pro down the road, too.
I keep telling my wife that 'this is the last thing for a while, I promise!'
Something tells me that I had better keep that promise...
    Cheers,
    Glenn

I want to install the maintenance packs for HRCS 9.0 and I want to use the other language not only English. Should I need to install the maintenance packs Multi-Language only or I must install both the Multi-Language packs and English packs? For example, should I install the PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Resources Management System and Campus Solutions 9.0 - Maintenance Pack 6 - Multi-Language only or both the PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Resources Management System and Campus Solutions 9.0 - Maintenance Pack 6 - Multi-Language and PeopleSoft Enterprise HRMS and Campus Solutions 9.0 - Maintenance Pack 6?By the way, after I have installed the Maintenance Pack 6,I use ctrl+j to see the information of my peoplesoft system and I found that the Service Pack is 0 still. Why?

  • How to stop BT posting to me about new promotions.

    Hello,
I have my email for marketing consent set to 'no' but i see no option to stop snailmail. Is there one to stop me receiving BT promotions through the post?
I received a letter suggesting i could change my phone package only a few days after my Infinity/phone package went live. Bit pushy isn't it? I made my decison when i signed up to Infinity and am not about to switch a week later.
Is it a case of if you choose no to promotional emails then you get snailmail promotions and vice versa? Surely not. Oh, maybe at this point i should ask about being phoned by BT about promotions, they have had a history of randomly calling me several times every few months. If you opt out of email/snailmail do they then phone?
I'm paperless billing which is different i know but point being i'd prefer to be paperless throughout my BT account.
If i feel the urge to change plans or details in the future i know where to look.
    Thanks.

  • DEV to PRD Promotion with mis-matched fix packs

We are installing Fixpack 2 on R3.1.  In the past support has warned us about promoting reports from development to production when the development system is at a higher fixpack level than production.  If this is still the case, it means we have to freeze turnovers while the fixpack is being tested.  Is it still the case?

  • Itunes on xp service pack 3

please somebody help me couse i m pretty close to broke my laptop. i just bought an ipod touch, i have donwloaded the latest version of itunes, installed and when i start it nothing happen, task manager is showing me that itunes i runnig but...i tried everything on apple/support i installed and uninstalled itunes for 10 times, nothing,i really don't know what to do, i should say that some of my laptop compnents doesn't work with service pack 2 so i can't put servicepack 2

iTunes should work with either service pack 2 or 3.
You problem, silent iTunes launch failure with persistent iTunes.exe in the processes tab of Task manager, is commonly due to a problem with cryptographic services.
There are a number of steps required to troubleshoot this and you need to help by answering all my questions and giving feedback on what you did and what happened with error messages. The first stage is diagnosis of the problem.
Before checking if iTunes works, restart your PC or close the iTunes.exe process with task manager if it is running.
A couple of simple things to try:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1776?viewlocale=en_US
Stop the bonjour service, this FAQ has instructions:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2250?viewlocale=en_US
But usually it is due to a problem with cryptographic services.
Check to see if you have your smart card service and that it is not set to disabled. For some reason iTunes needs it.
    Start>>Run>>Services.msc
you should find the smart card service in the list. Report back with your findings.
Malware can interfere with cryptographic services and also pervert a resolution so it is important to check that your system is clean before proceeding: Run a virus and spyware scan with up to date definitions.
Then work through *Method 4* in the following link:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822798
You should be able to copy and paste the individual lines to save on typing.
Make a careful note of any error messages you get, they are important for diagnosis. Report back any error messages especially the names of any dlls mentioned.
If there are no errors try starting iTunes.
P.S. Could you confirm that you are using Windows XP and the service pack you are using, I assume you are as are talking about service pack 3.

  • A note on Setup Manager - Application Change Management Pack

    Hi All,
This is Mugunthan, Development manager for iSetup and Setup Manager. I am happy to begin my note with the launch of Application Change Management Pack 3.1. For those who are not aware of Application Change Management Pack, it is a new product built on top of Oracle Enterprise Manager and comprises of three major modules namely Setup Manager, Customization Manager and Patch Manager. You can find more information about this pack here (LCM: Oracle Application Change Management Pack Setup Manager is enhanced and advanced version of iSetup on Oracle Enterprise Manager. There were good amount of reasons to re-architect iSetup on Oracle Enterprise Manager as Setup Manager.
    Why Setup Manager?
Ability to migrate to data over point releases of EBS – EBS comes up with rollup patches on top of major releases periodically. It means that you have to certify the patch before it get deployed on to production which means that setup data are to be certified again. iSetup cannot connect between 12.0.4 to 12.0.6 or 12.0.6 to 12.1.1. We have achieved the data migration for above scenarios in Setup Manager (11i to R12 is not supported in Setup Manager)
Projects – Setup Manager supports grouping of Extracts, Transforms, Loads and Reports as a single entity and can be deployed multiple times to multiple targets. The project consists of one or more tasks (of type Extract/Load/Transform/Report) and can be orchestrated according to your ends. Project execution supports scheduling which means that you can use this feature to sync up setup data between two instances at periodic internal. Projects can be shared with other users which is remarkable difference between iSetup and Setup Manager. You can share your projects with others in a combined development environment. The functional configuration data (Extracts) are stored in Oracle Enterprise Manager. This means that you can refresh EBS without losing Extracts.
Integration with Change Approval mechanism – Execution of projects is integrated with change approval mechanism which means that you can control who executes what. Also, you have fine grain access control where you can control EBS targets assigned to a user.
Offline Transformation – I would say this is the most unique feature of Setup Manager and as an implementer you would welcome this feature very much. iSetup has got very limited capability on Transformation. Here we have gone way ahead and support Transformation on almost all Setup Objects. We present you the extracted data in excel sheets. You can download the excel template and work offline. All the attribute value fields in the excel sheet are editable which means that you supply your own value. For example, you can download Operating Unit data in xls file and change operating unit “OU100” to “OU200” and upload it back to system and load to target instance. Please note that any attribute of Operating Unit setup data can be edited. Also, system has got intelligence and once you upload the excel sheet, it automatically changes all the inventory organization which belongs to “OU100” to “OU200”. This behavior can be controlled using attribute mapping which you can create in Setup Manager. Hold on, this is not the end, also you can add more operating unit in excel, say OU300 and OU400 and load it to target instance. You can delete few Operating Units from extracted data in excel sheet and load the remaining to target instance. This gives you complete flexibility to manage (add/edit/delete) functional configuration data offline. This is fantastic feature and please have a look at how it works.
Advanced Filtering – Filter support in iSetup is not flexible where you cannot use comma separated values and complex sql join conditions. Also you do not know what query is executed behind the scenes to the data. All this problems are addressed in Setup Manager 3.1. We show you the “select clause” (SQL) associated with interface and provide you a text field where you can refer the select clause and provide your own custom where criteria (SQL). This means that filter support is unlimited and you can set filter any database columns. For example, you can extract “Responsibilities/Menu” which are active or created as on yesterday. You can extract all Operating Units excluding “OU100 and OU200”. We support all filter criteria that are supported by SQL.

    Hi,
your note very interesting. Is there any other way to extract the configuration using SQL? not using Enterprise Manager? hope this will be fastest way then using GUI base.
    Thanks,
    Fahmi Fahlevi
