Yesterday I attended interview at delhi india one small company they are offering for me as a sap EPM consultant (fresher) job position,.
So i have to join above for the postion as a sap epm Consultant (fresher job), I don't know excactly what is the EPM & BPC.
i was discussed to my frnd on yersterday night he said SAP EPM is different tool & SAP BPC is the different tool still i am confusing what i have to do the nextstep.
i know only about sap fico tool. my education (MBA Finance). Is it suitable for the above job postion and as well as sap epm tool career growth is good ?????? not.....

A2A (Application to Application) Scenarios
B2B (Business to Business) Scenarios
Synchronous and Asynchronous message exchange etc
It is not a single component but consist of various components that work together flexibly at runtime
Architecture of SAP XI consist of
SLD (System Landscape Directory)
Integration Repository (Integration Builder - Design)
Integration Configuration (Integration Builder - Configuraion)
Runtime Workbench
SLD basically allows central maintainence of system that we want to integrate
We provide details of systems in our Landscape
Integration Repository allows design of various objects that we use whil configuring the scenario in Integration Directory . We use s/w components from SLD here
Integration Directory this is the place where we configure the scenario using objects developed in Repository and system information (system catalog) from SLD
And finally Runtime workbench (Integration Monitoring) allows runtime monitoring of our scenarios

1 Can it be integrated with IBM Tivoli software for Application monitoring.
2 Can it be integrated with Active Directory for authorization.
3. Profiles of SAP users can be stored in Accrss Contril List of windows.
4 Audit trail of information access (success and failure) by users can be audit trailed.

What does a BI Developer need to know about SAP tables and why?

As a BI Developer, to what extent do you need to know about SAP tables?
e.g. if you work mainly in the functional areas LO and FI
ii.
For example, I know that in Finance, GL relates to the tables BSEG and BKPF.
And if it is important to know about them, then which other tables need to be known and for what reasons?

iii.
I thought as a BI Developer, knowing that a particular datasource, e.g. 0FI_GL_4 contains line items is enough and you replicate it to BW and work with it. Why is there the need to know the tables from which this datasource gets is data?

Not required, but today business demands so you required this Knowelgde.

We can't say yes or No, so based on your requirement you need to sit with Functional COnsultanst and the understand the Business Requirements and develop the OBjetcs.

If you want to know the data flow and reconsilization then you need to know it else not required

Yes, one main difference is There is no setup table concept for FI DataSource*
Note: If you want to become a good BW consulatnt you must know about Tables for normal BW consultant it is not required.

...and assess the ones in the UK which does include Brunel.
Ask if they provide SAP-related curricula (or supplements) and hands on SAP software in this course or others that you can take in your program.

We in SAP Education have clasroom training IAU290 for DBM7.0 (however no fix scheduled dates are avaiable now, but only on customer request).
Additionally we have an online learning map (Online Knowledge Document - ODBM70).

Some questions about SAP esourcing

Hi expert,
I have one question about SAP eSourcing. In RFQ document, before RFQ award is published, our customer do not want the price of RFx response disclosed to collaborators. After the award is published, the price can be released to collaborators. As I know, we can use page customization to hide page field. But the price is collection field. So I failed to use page customization to hide it.
Pls advise me how to realize it.
