About Sapscript - Page selection

I made a Sapcript. When I start to 'print preview', I found that there were 13 pages.
Back to print option view , I set the value of "Page selection" 1 and print preview. But there were still 13 pages be printed , why? I think that 1 page should be printed .

hi,
the field Page selection is foer the print options not for the print priveiw. So the value in the field will not be considered for the print preview.

Hi Amit,
In IExpense In R12 the Final Review Page and the confirmation page are not available under About this page link since they are linked to some other main page and thats how it works.
The only way you can check this page is use the below command to print the details of the page.
set serveroutput on;

jdr_utils.printdocument('/oracle/apps/ap/oie/entry/summary/webui/FinalReviewPG');
end;
please run this in toad or sql plus you will get the page details in Xml format,

I want to change the file location for the automatic backup file bookmarks.file, but I can't find browser.bookmarks.file in the list on the about:config page.

I asked about automatic backup of bookmarks and received the following answer:You can make Firefox 3 create an automatic HTML backup (bookmarks.html) when you exit Firefox if you set the pref [http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML] to true on the about:config page. That backup is created by default in the profile folder as bookmarks.html, but you can set the file name and path via the pref [http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.bookmarks.file browser.bookmarks.file] on the about:config page. I went to about:config page and toggled browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML to “Yes” and it’s working. However, I want to change the file location, but I can’t find browser.bookmarks.file in the list.

The browser.bookmarks.file preference does not exist by default. Right-click in about:config and select "New > String" to create it.

I need the dialog box (which contains page selection etC) HOW TO MAKE IT?

i have done an requirement in smartforms.
i need the dialog box (which contains output device name, page selection etc) when i take the print (smartforms).
And now i already can see a dialog box .but still it doesn't have the page selection.
I mean if the smartforms which have 5 pages,and what i need is just print the page 1 and page 3 . so I need the page selection
which can help me on this issue.
Would anyone know something about it and give me some advice . I will be appericate it.

Hi,
Just check with the control parameters of the function module, if you have changed any of it.
If you have changed it then try to give the no-dialog field of the control parameter table as space.
If the dialog box which gives you the Output device name and others appears then just below the output device name you have the column for the page selection.Just pass the values of the pages separating them with comma(like 2, 5 will print second and fifth pages) and it prints only those pages.

How to remove "About this Page" and "Privacy Statement" on a OA page

Hi,
How do i remove "About this Page" and "Privacy Statement" links at the bottom of an OA page and add "Close Window" link on the top right corner of OA page.
Please help.

Hi,
1. Select Personalize Page link at top right of page.
2. Select Choose context button.
3. In the scope drop down box select OA Footer.
4. Click on apply.
5. Expand privacy.
6. Click on personalize pencil icon.
7. Set Rendered property to false at required level.
8. Click on apply.
9. Click on Return to Application link.

Can't print from Adobe Reader, "no pages selected to print"

I can't print PDFs from Adobe Reader. I can print from any other program, just not Adobe Reader. When I click "Print", I get an error that says, "The document could not be printed". I click "OK" and then it says, "There were no pages selected to print". Even if I try to print a page at a time, it still won't work. I have a Mac and my Adobe Reader is up to date. Any ideas?

You should really ask in the Reader forum. Be sure to indicate the OS and printer you are trying to use, particularly if it is a network printer. Provide information about having installed the most recent printer driver if appropriate. When you open the print menu in Reader, do you have any printers in the list?

No pages selected to print

Since updating to Adobe 9.4.6, I am unable to print.
No matter what settings I use, I get the same error: "Document could not be printed. There were no pages selected to print."
This happens on my local LAN printer at home and on my network printer in the office. I am able to print from other programs. I have also tried other suggestions found in the forums about "print as image" or printing by right-clicking on the page thumbnail, but I still get the same error. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Here is one of the symptoms when you fill out a PDF form with Preview: If you save it and return it to the author, they will not be able to see the text that you've added to form fields - unless they click on a field, which will reveal the contents of just that field. You can recover from this problem, but Preview will also remove other field types, and will actually rewrite your complete PDF while ignoring what it does not understand. But i find that value for that field is getting populated from c_ext_attr1 column in table eng_changes_ext_b.
But i don't really understand how this column is getting populated in to the page since the VO associated with the page is not querying this table nor any of the column in this existing VO query don't have such values that are shown on the page.
Please share ur thoughts.....

We are using R12.1.3.
The Page navigation from front end is different as the responsibilities are custom one.
The page path in the back end is

What happened to "bookmark this page" selection in the "show your bookmarks" menu on the right?

Now I have to:
1) click again on the stupid blue star to get the menu to place my new bookmark where I choose to instead of have it go to unsorted bookmarks...
OR
2) bring up or have up the menu bar and click on the "bookmarks" menu choice of "bookmark this page" which brings up what I'd call the choice or sort menu that lets me access my bookmarks menu...
...where I wanted to go to create a bookmark AND I get to select "choose", which is what I used to do when adding ANY bookmark.
I want the "bookmark this page" selection back on the "show your bookmarks" list on the right...where it belongs. Why does everyone want to keep hiding the useful tools?
Firefox 29 stinks and I've had nothing but problems from the beginning...and since making the mistake of resetting.
I now have a folder of stuff that I have no clue what to do with as, upon resetting, I got "Oooops this is embarrassing, we're having a problem" or something. Any clues about what to do with all that "junk" (now, to me) might also be helpful.

I was used to being able to select the folder to place my bookmark without going into an edit session. This is as useless now as windows "libraries"

I also tried the method to know the information OA_HTML/OAInfo.jsp
It returned as
"This JSP is no longer supported. To view the information that this JSP provided, please log in to Oracle E-Business Suite, and select the About this Page link."

Adobe wont print, no page selected

I am experiencing a problem with my Windows 64 bit workstation, trying to print an extra-large (60"X90") poster to my HP Plotter.
The Print dialog box shows the project divided vertically in three 36" wide strips, which should work out with my plotter loaded with 36"paper.
But when I select "Print" from the print menu, I get the Adobe "i" message "The document could not be printed" followed by another "i" message "There were no pages selected to print".
I checked, and of course the "all" button is selected in "Pages to Print

I'm sorry that you haven't received a response yet. Let's see what we can figure out.
Can you please tell me a bit more about your setup? Are you printing from Reader or Acrobat, and which version do you have? To that end, make sure that you have the most current version of either Reader or Acrobat installed by choosing Help > Check for Updates. Updating has resolved the issue for several customers facing the same issue. It's also important that you have the most current version of the printer driver for your plotter (you can check HP's website for that information.) But if that doesn't do the trick, here are some other things to try:
In the Acrobat/Reader preferences, click Document, and choose Never from the View Documents in PDF/A Mode pop-up menu.
Try printing another PDF with similar dimensions to the same printer. Does it print without error? If so, the PDF that's causing the error may not be well-fomed, and that could certainly cause the error that you're seeing.
Please give those things a go, and then let us know whether you were able to print successfully.

Won't print because no page selected

I tried to print, but messages comes back that document cannot be printed because no page selected. I have reloaded software but problem persists.

that's exactly what happened. I guess my illustration looked pro enough to be judged as studio work (GOOD! cuz that's my job anyways )
that's kinda flattering and nice that they are protecting artists... but yeah, i went with a different print service that was less hassle.
I wouldn't be so nitpikcy about this if they had mentioned something before submitting the prints re: copyright material - but rather than an explanation off the bat, i had to search for teh reason. It took a couple of days before they even told me the print was cancelled and another set of days for feedback from them to the reason why. By that time, i had already searched and ordered from a different service.
That's too bad, i would have liked using apple's service because iPhoto made it convenient... but turns out more of an inconvenience.

Latest version doesn't print PDFs, says "No pages selected to print" whether I have chosen "All" or "Page 1-N"

I've installed and reinstalled the latest version of Adobe Reader at least twice, but I still get the same problem - I cannot print PDFs on paper using my local printer.
Additional info that might be helpful:
* The printer is connected and tested, and prints from other programs like MS Word.
* I can print from Adobe Reader to PDF using a program like BullZIP, but this is obviously not useful.
* I have tested various PDFs, as far as I can see this is not about the type of PDF (whether it contains macros or fields or whatever).
* The exact error messages are "The document could not be printed" and "There were no pages selected to print" in two separate popup boxes.
