About settings in BI7

Dear Gurus,
I am trying to work on settings (RSA1) in BI7 system. I wanted to set the option "display generated objects " to on. But I am not finding that option there i am able to see only "Global Settings " there. May I know if there is any other way to set that option in BI7 system?

Are you looking for your infosource 8cube - go to infosources tab on left and search using 8CUBE - ull find Infosource & the infopackage..

And it is not Photo Stream photos that you are seeing reflected?
Try resetting your device(nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Slide to Unlock screen redisplays, see if the issue is resolved.
If it isn't try syncing with iTunes on the computer you sync with, and uncheck "Sync Photos". See if that clears it up. If it does, then re-sync the photos that you want.

Merging PDF's, what about settings?

I have a little "problem";
I shall make a 2 sided folder for printing, and I have selected the right resolution, color-settings, color-mode(CMYK) and color-profile according to the print-shops demand. I have made 2 PDF's, one for the front-side, and one for the back-side, with all the correct setting.
Then, my "problem" occures; what happens to the correct PDF-settings I selected, when I use Adobe Acrobat to merge the two PDF's into one PDF? Are my settings kept in the PDF-files, or what? I'm concerned about the settings for resolution, color-settings, color-mode(CMYK) and color-profile.

Thanks for your response. Could you please tell me is there any Adobe or adobe approved tool or software that I could make use of to retain Reader Extensions in my PDF after renaming of fields. Currently I am using Aspose PDF which allows me to rename fields and generates a new pdf once i rename it. But when i try to open it, it throws an error saying that "This document enabled extended features in Adobe Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact Author"and after that i am not able to edit and save data.

Ipod Nano 'About" Settings

When I save text documents to my iPod Nano, there is always funky jibberish text before the important info and requires me to scroll to the bottom in order to read my note. I noticed under the Settings: About menu that the 'Format:" lists Windows. This seems lame. Is this the problem? Is there a way to change this format?

That's usually a sign that your headphones are not plugged in all the way. The white but of the headphones should be flush with the Nano, meaning no silver can still be seen from the headphone's plug.

Sorry for the lengthy question.
I recently downloaded a short clip from YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_riYAlUp4V4
GSpot tells me that the codecs (MPEG2 for video and MPEG-1 Layer 2 for audio) are installed, and that the frame size is 640 wide x 360 high. The frame rate is 25.000 per sec. Other audio details include 44100Hz 192 kb/s tot , Stereo. Then I open up MediaInfo and while it does not inform me that this is a PAL clip or not, at 25fps I am guessing that it is. These are the clips's other properties:

I now wish to edit the video, so I open up Premiere Elements 11 and go to File | New Project and in 'Project Settings' I try to match the clip's properties that I know about from GSpot and MediaInfo with the settings I am about to assign to my project. Thus, I ignore NTSC completely since my clip runs at 25fps. On the other hand, there is no PAL setting in Elements 11 that corresponds exactly to my clip's 640 x 360 frame-size properties.
Eventually, I choose PAL | DV Standard 48kHz (not my desired 44.1kHz) which has a frame rate of 25 fps and a frame size of 720 x 576 (and not my desired 640 x 360). However, if I have understood correctly the clip itself obliges Elements 11 to accept its own properties once it is on the Timeline.
I think that's right?
I click OK to the PAL | DV Standard settings on the 'Change Settings' dialogue box and leave unticked the 'Force selected Project Setting on this project' because I don't want to impose different properties on my clip.
I click on 'Add Media' and drag my clip to the Timeline. I go to Edit | Preferences | General and ensure that 'Default frame to scale size' is ticked. So far so good. Now for the confusing part: I go to Edit | Project Settings | General and see that although my clip is on the Timeline and despite not having ticked the 'Force selected Project Setting on this project' (in my Presettings), Elements sees my clip as having a 720 x 576 frame-size and not a 640 x 360 frame-size which is really what it is (screenshot).
On the other hand, if I go to File | Get Properties for.... | Selection with my clip still on the Timeline, the Properties dialogue box tells me that my clip has a frame-size not of 720px x 576px as 'Project Settings' has informed me, but of 640px x 360px! (screenshot).
It seems that Elements 11 is trying to dictate the properties of my clip, rather than the clip determining the settings in Elements 11. The two lots of settings are inconsistent in that the clip's properties do not correspond to the settings in Elements 11.
Be that as it may, I add a couple of transitions to the clip and I'm now ready to Publish+Share it. I choose 'Computer' and then MPEG, and then under 'Presets' I choose PAL DVD Standard. I can see immediately that the project will be saved with settings that do not correspond to the clip's original properties. The frame rate is the same but the frame size at 720x576 is not; neither is the audio setting of 48kHz (the
original is 44.1kHz) (screenshot).
I click on 'Advanced'. Under 'Video', I set 'Quality' to 5, leave TV Standard at PAL, frame-rate at 25, 'Field Order' at Lower, and 'Pixel Aspect Ratio' at 4.3 (1.094). I don't understand the Bitrate or GOP Settings so I leave them as they are. I change the 'Preset' field of 'Export Settings' from Custom to PAL DVD Standard. I can see that the frame-size is 720x576, but it is greyed-out so I couldn't alter it even
if I wanted to.
Under 'Audio' I leave 'Audio Format' at Dolby Digital and the 'Preset' at PAL DVD Standard. The Bitrate is set at 192 which corresponds to the original clip's audio properties, so I leave it at that.
As it happens the clip turned out very well - I can detect no difference between my clip and the one I downloaded from YouTube - but what I wanted to ask was, despite the 'lack of correspondence' between original and exported settings, is my methodology - the way I am going about processing the clip - a reasonable one? Is that the way it is supposed to be done? Furthermore, is it true to say that since my final exported clip looks just fine, that settings do not NEED to correspond exactly?

I set up the video with settings along the lines you suggested (screenshot).
These settings have a frame-size of 1280 x 720. I find that a bit confusing because the original settings are 640 x 360. These settings effectively double the original settings, don't they. Why would I want to do that?
Anyway, I ticked the "Force Selected Project Settings On This Project" and left "Default Scale to Frame Size" active in preferences. Then I imported the video alone into my project Expert Timeline (that is only the video and not any Folders).
I then clicked on 'Yes' to the SmartFix 'Fix quality problems in clips?' I then edited the video a little and then clicked on Publish+Share | Computer | AVCHD. For PAL DV Widescreen I can only see MP4 - PAL DV Widescreen, so I set it to that.
In Export Settings I needed to release the link between frame width and height and type in 640x360. I have to leave the Preset field in Export Settings as 'Custom', otherwise if I try to select MP4 - PAL DV Widescreen from the drop-down menu it alters the frame-size. The Format, which is greyed-out, is set at H.264. I then change the 'Field Order' to 'None (Progressive)' and the Pixel Aspect Ratio from Widescreen 16.9 to Square Pixels. The other settings are as you have them: Profile = Main; Level = 3.1 The final settings before clicking 'Save' look lie this:
I click Save and it saves as an MP4 video and the quality looks good! One thing I am unsure about is why you would choose this: Publish+Share | Computer | AVCHD | with Presets = PAL DV Widescreen. Why widescreen? Is there something in the original clip's settings (frame-size of 640 x 360) that indicate to you that the clip should be saved as a widescreen clip?

How to update temporary number in About settings on successful port.

Hi, I have an Xperia Z3 and my old phone number port worked successfully. However, in the About phone settings it still shows my temporary number. I would like this to be updated so that it shows my original number. I have removed and reinserted the Sim, rebooted and shut my phone down many times but it doesn't update in the settings. Tesco mobile say it's not possible but I'm not totally convinced. Is there a way for my phone to display the correct number now? Thanks.

I guess in that case you might get unknown,with the new SIM. Older SE phones were able to edit that section.

How about settings for OCZ 3200 2x512 ELPE?

I see a post about people using the 3500 OCZ. I am getting the MSI K8N NEO Platnum, and OCZ400512ELPE 3200, somtime this week. here is my system.
I will have 3200 AMD 64. ati radeon pro 256 mb, and WD raptor 10k 74gb HD. As well as MB and OCZ mem. I am a complete newb with the Bios, so my mom will be setting the bios. What bios should I use and what settings should I use to make this board be stable and perform the best it can? I kinda need a walkthrough if possible from someone who has used this memory or who can speak about it. I cant wait to get this up and running and am pretty excited about it. Any help would be appreciated.thanks

Price is a factor, so thats why I am getting the 3200. I am not into doing major Overclockin or anything, I just want to know what settings to set to make it as stable as possible, and get the most from this type of memory. I realize the potential is problly greater with the other memory but I have spent alot of money as is and am short on resources. Any help with the 3200 is appreciated thx

There is many attributes in the properties dialog of the IMAQ channel in the M&A Explorer. For example Mode (Frame/Field), Lock speed (Slow/Normal/Fast/Very Fast), Luma Comb (Disabled/Enabled). Where can I find a comprehensible description of them?

The starting point is the help file. There is a section with the title: "Setting IMAQ Device and Camera Properties". That section provide some explanations about the properties and options to configure your IMAQ cameras.
You can obtain more information by visiting the Developer Zone at the NI website. Look for the Vision section at the Resource Library. The exact address is:

Cache settings in BI7. Data still not displayed correctly in RSRT

Good day
Please assist? I did scan SDN for a similar problem and did check the CACHE settings in RSRT etc.
My problem is: If I check the data in the DSO, then the updated information that was loaded yesterday is displayed. When I run the query, it does not display the last loaded information. I have run the query in RSRT and the updated information does not display either. I have changed the cache properties of this query to different settings already, and running the query from RSRT, with no success.
I also checked the query itself (design) It is not restricted to anything. User selects 0CALMONTH as variable only. I have logged out and in again after each Cache setting, no success of displaying the updated DSO information.
Can anyone please tell me why the query does not pick up the latest information from the DSO?

As you could be aware in MDM any logical system that can supply data to or receive data from MDM is known as a remote system.
MDM can import data from remote systems and create/update master data objects using that data. Master data objects include main table records, subtable records/lookup values, and text attribute text values.
When data is changed in a remote system, the changes can be imported into MDM. Using previously created structural and key mappings, in conjunction with dynamically reconfigurable transformations and mappings, the data is applied to the master data objects. All changes to master data objects are tracked.
Now as in the case of Interactive/Automated import remote system the detail informatin is available on the URL

E75 ringtones don't care about settings

Strange behaviour with the E75 started with the firmware update to 202.12.01. First it started to use the videophone ringtone for certain calls and these were calls from phones that don't have any video capability. I ignored that and decided to have a brute force solution by selecting another ringtone in the settings for video calls. Didn't work. Still intermittently the phone incorrectly believes that a videocall is coming in AND uses the standard Nokia tune regardless of the setting. Any idea?

Creating Images for Web, question about settings, etc.

Okay before someone tells me "use the search function or google", let me say this...i already have.
I am looking for a guide or anything to ALL settings and recommendations for photoshop cs4.
I find different examples and such but nothing that is "great" and exactly what I need.
When creating a new file that will be used for the web. Logo, site graphics, etc. what are the best
settings when creating a new document? recommended settings for anything from the resolution, color mode
to the "pixel aspect ration" under advanced.
Basically I just need to do this part my self, i am pretty familiar with photoshop but just never took the time to actually know 100% of the best
settings that i should use.
I just want to be able to create the high quality images i can for my website,
I use .png for the most part {because i need transparency for several items}.
but I notice that alot of times it has that little bit of blurryness to it, i tried messing with the resolution, i tried resize, i tried alot of things.
my BIGGEST frustration and what ultimately led me to come to these forums was the use of the font, no matter what , my font always always always looks a bit blurry. what can i do to take this effect of blurryness away?
any and all help is appreciate and i give a thanks in advance!

The best setting for the issues you describe is to work on your art in Photoshop at a 100% view and to place in a web page at 100%. Do not try to scale the images with HTML/CSS.

Hello there,
Use the fscommand() to make your EXE file fullscreen. Place
this code on the first frame of your movie.
fscommand("fullscreen", true);
Save and then Publish the SWF and Windows/Mac projector (EXE)
files.
Do you have a stop() action on the last frame of any timeline
animation in your movie? If not, put one there.
