I need to download Siebel 7.8 for my Oracle AS adapter 10.1.0.2.0...
I looked in the edelivery.oracle.com website... i found Siebel Business Applications, Version 7.8.2, Base Applications for Windows
Is that the one? or 7.8 is different from 7.8.2

Siebel version 8.0.0.5 concerns

Siebel version 8.0.0.5 was made available as a GA (General Audience) around the middle of October. Since then we have seen 12 QF been made
available. From the naming of the QFs, the last one being QF0521, it looks like there are more on the way. It looks like there could be as much
as 21 QFs on the way, less then one month after the patch set was made available.
Anyone else being sceptical/having doubts about putting this version into production?

Hi Axel,
We have two customers on 8.0.0.5. Both are very happy with it now. Both were disappointed when the installed it and found issues with the “with” block that were later fixed with a QF.

The best source of detailed information about the OPA Connector for Siebel (including tutorials and samples) is the product documentation itself.
There will be a new version of the OPA Connector for Siebel released with version 10 of OPA later this week, including updated documentation. I suggest that you download OPA Connector for Siebel v10.0 from eDelivery and have a look at:

One option is to create a new partition (~30- 50 GB), install the new OS, and ‘test drive’ it. If you like/don’t like it it, you can then remove the partition. Do a backup before you do anything. By doing this, if you don’t like it you won’t have to go though the revert process.

What are the rules about switching versions?

I thought projects created in iMovie 9 showed up in iMovie 10, but I just tried creating a new project in iMovie 9 this morning and it is not showing up in iMovie 10, even though I see projects from 2013 and before in there.
Also, what are the rules about switching versions? I know iMovie 9 much better, so can I start a project there and finish it in iMovie 10? I would like to gradually learn iMovie 10, but not all at once.
I assume that once a project is edited in iMovie 10, it can't be worked on in iMovie 9 anymore.

You have to update iMovie 9 projects to iMovie 10 from within iMovie 10 before they will appear in iMovie 10 as iMovie 10 uses a completely different project/event file system. After updating you can still work on projects in iMovie 9 but you won't see any changes made in iMovie 10 and you can't transfer them back.
I would have a good look at the iMovie 10 help files first since a lot is changed and some features have been discontinued that might be important to you.
In order to try out iMovie 10 on just one of your iMovie 9 projects, put the folders just for that project in a separate iMovie Projects and iMovie Events folder and hide the project and event folders containing the projects you don't want to update from iMovie 10 by enclosing them in a higher level folder (only projects and events folders in the Movies folder of the boot drive or at the root level of another drive or partition will be visible to iMovie).
I did it this way and I'm glad I didn't try to update evrything at once!

sorry for posting this in this forum, but i didnt find any other way to know this, since i dont know where to find experts to answer this.
I have worked 2 years and a half in Incident support and implementation using siebel tools (7.7, 8.0,8.1) I made workflows, Eai, EIM, applets, bcs, eScript and all the other configuration in tools (consultant job)
I received a job offer last week and I took it, this job is in the Support line of business and is about Siebel Technical architecture, performance tuning, components, alerts, support integration with other services, troubleshooting and monitoring production environment but nothing about siebel tools.
I don't know nothing about this, and they will train me.
but I'm most worried about my career.
I want become a project leader in a future, I don't know anything about this type of career in the Support LOV.
is worth it?, there is offers in the market for this position or is a waste of time?, is more rentable over time than siebel tools configuration?.

Yes, you need to copy the compiled srf file to the objects/<language> folder of the Siebel Server.

As we record using UPK the OnDemand Log Viewer is being populated with the following message:
SIEBEL.WAP Version check - Trying to record unsupported SIEBEL version [21215]
Should we be concerned? Can we ignore the message?

Plugin check makes incorrect or misleading diagnosis about quicktime version on Mac OS X 10.6.4

After reading about security issues with plugins, I ran the Mozilla plugin check to see if my plugins are up to date. It says my Quicktime plug-in is out of date and points me to the Apple web site for an update. However the information on the apple web site tells me about an upgrade to a version 7.something, available for Mac OS X versions up to 10.5.something, when my computer is running Mac OS X 10.6.4 and quicktime on my computer claims to be version 10 -- both of which are *later* than what I'm told to "upgrade" to. This makes no sense.

I have the same problem, with slightly different versions:
Mac OS X 10.6.4
Firefox 3.6.4
According to plugin check I have QuickTime 7.6.3. and it is outdated. I downloaded update to 7.6.6 and got message that it can't be installed because I already have QuickTime Player 10.0. Does Firefox recognize 10.0 as a plugin? Do I need to disable 7.6.3? Do I delete 7.6.3 and, if so, how? How do I get 10.0 to show up as a plugin in Firefox? Lots of questions! I'm stumped.

This is a question about iTunes version 10.5

I am running iTunes on several Mac computers (ppc and intel) with version 10.4, as well as my iPhone/iPad. I am being frequently prompted on the computers to upgrade from version 10.4 to 10.5.
However, I do NOT want to use iCloud to store or sync any music. Each of my machines has their own iTunes library, and I am not interested in sharing. So, my question is: If I upgrade from 10.4 to 10.5, will I be required to use iCloud? Is there a way that I can run 10.5 but NOT perform any music sharing with my other computers, iPhone or iPad?
I use Mobile Me frequently. I have not upgraded to iCloud for any other sharing functions.
I realize that once I upgrade iTunes to 10.5 - I probably cannot go back to 10.4. So, I need a clear answer about the above concern before I attempt any upgrade.

iCloud signup and use is completely optional. You don't even need to open an iCloud account to run iTunes 10.5 or any of your devices, nor use iCloud if you have an account. I have iTunes 10.5 and do have an iCloud account, but I don't use it for anything other than the Find My iPad service.

A Question about Driver Version #

I am confused, as usual, but this time about which Driver Version one has on one's PC. I am NOT sure, but I think that the Driver Version # given on the Creative SB A. 2 Z, which is now 02.08.0004 is NOT called that same Version # when ON your PC. IF so - isn't this ODD?
I ask this because I believe that I have already installed the above named Drivers - BUT - when I check my System Devices; Audgy 2 ZS; it shows the Driver Version as: 5.2.8.64.
Can someone PLEASE tell me IF these two are really "ONE and the SAME" or not?

What Satellite model dou you have?
As Akuma said, you can try modified drivers or drivers that are not from Toshiba. But with these drivers you could get more problems as now.
As far as I know the games need a lot of power and a Satellite notebook was not made for computer games. The Qosimo series is ideal for playing games.
If you want to play games on a Satellite notebook, you should not set high quality settings in game. It runs better when you play with lower settings.

Question about siebel bip integration configuration

I'm new to siebel enviornment, I installed siebel and try to configure bip integration part
Step 1:
I stoped siebel services, and then I copied the siebel srf file to siebel tools driectory and then imported pix files and compiled it
and then I try to configure outbound service, deleted existing xmpl integration files and imported wsdl file and then i compiled. Now My quesiton is Before start the siebel service, should i copy compiled srf file to siebel server directory and start the server using by this srf ? and then configure inbound service

9.5.3 Help / About reports version as 9.0.0

After downloading AcrobatUpd953_all_incr.msp, installing it to patch Acrobat from 9.5.2 to 9.5.3, and rebooting, when I select Help / About in Acrobat, the dialog shows the version of Acrobat as 9.0.0. When I open Control Panel / Programs and Features, it shows the version of Acrobat as 9.5.3, when I look at the properties of acrobat.exe the file version is 9.5.3.305, and in Acrobat if I open Help / About Adobe Plugins, all the plugin versions are shown as 9.5.3.305. So it looks as though it's just the About dialog that is screwed.
I checked with a friend who also has Acrobat 9, and he sees exactly the same bug. OS on both machines is Windows 7 x64.

I tried this on my Win7 64 bit machine and its working fine.Please try repairing your Acrobat from control panel and see if it works.

I was actually referring to this exact page ( CS5.5 Production Premium, Student) http://adobe.ly/H6so7G (non-flash version because links were redirecting) where it doesnt list the offer on the left.

It doesnt mention anything about not including student editions and all offer pages I've seen have a link to the education store.
