About stock initializing and PGI

thanks every body for giving suggestion and i rewarded
      1. yes i closed 2007/8 and 2007/7 period using MMPV
      2. system date is todays date.
      and i have created new comp code ABC in IDES. but for company code 0001 or 1000 there is no problem while initializing stock. well is there might be a problem in controlling point of view? pls suggest any solution
will reward

Hi KP,
In MMRV, check if it says current period is 09/2007, then you can't do anything lse but wait till next month. If current period is 08/2007, then check for settings again in OMS2, OB52....
I hope you got what I mean

  • The Question about stock transfer between HU-Management and WM-Management

    Hi,
    There is a scenario about stock transfer between HU-Management and WM-Management storage location. I use transaction MB1B , movement type 313 , 315. After Good issue from WM-management storage location, outbound delivery will genarated, then Pack, Create/Confirm TO, at last post goods issue for the outboud delivery. But when i do movement type 315, there is a warning message "Data of preceding document was not transmitted", and from the F1 help i find this system reponse "You can maintain an indicator that makes information about preceding documents in this delivery available under delivery type in Customizing. For some characteristics of this indicator, the type of preceding document and the related document and item numbers must be transmitted to delivery creation. At least one of these parameters is missing.".
    So, My questions are:
    1. Generallily, Outbound delivery is created by SO, inbound delivery is created referenc PO, but how the stock transfer for 2 steps generate the outbould delivery and inbound delivery? Could you pls tell me the where i can config this in the IMG?
    2. What's "Data of preceding document was not transmitted" mean ? how to fix this issue ?

    Hi,
    Sure, The inbound delivery type is set up in the IMG->Logistics General -> HU management -> Basics ->Delivery type -> Delivery type determination.
    For Inbound delivery type 'HID' is maintained in this view.

    Some One want to discuss the details , can contact me. Thanks.

  • Problem about sales order stock stock transfer and batch determination

    Hi, experts, I get a problem about sales order stock stock transfer and batch determination.The following is the current situation of my system:
      In OMCG I assigned search procedure ME0001 to both 311 and 311 E and ticked check batch. After that, I found  that if iI need to tranfer unrestricted-use material from storage location 1000 to 2000 with movement type 311, I just need to input * at the field batch, then the system will display all of the available batches. But for the transferring of sales order stock with movement type 311 E, after I input * at the batch field, no batch is displayed and there is also no message from the system.
      Can anybody help me? Is there anything else I need to do? Thanks very much.

    I think my question is not clear, actually I tried 562 E , 411 E and 413 already. all the transaction looking for the sales order but unfortunatly the sales order is deleted  from SAP.

  • Outbound delivery and pgi without sufficent stock

    Hi,
    I would like to know few things regarding.
    1. Can we process outbound delivery and PGI without having sufficent stock.
    2.if yes than what will be the status of document flow.(when i did it system showed  following message, sales order-being processed,outbound delivery-being processed, and conformaton of service-completed.
    3.if we can not do pgi and delivery without sufficent stock than what is alternative for the same.
    Kindly reply as soon as possible.
    Thnaks

    1)  Yes.  It is based on your item category like TAX, you can post the goods issue and system will not check for stock availability.  It is also subject to other parameters like
    a) ticking the Negative stock field in material master
    b) ticking the box for your Valuation area in OMJ1 etc
    2)  As I said above, if you use item category TAX and do PGI, then in document flow, you can see Confirmation of Service against this delivery document
    3)  Stock should be made available
    thanks

  • Sales order delivery is created and pgi posted, but stock is still assigned

    Hello,
    sales order is created and delivery and PGi is also created, but still stock is assigned to the order. requirements are still showing in MD04.

    Hello Friend,
    Please check whether that material is activated for QM view in that material master.As sometimes if QM check is not done then even after PGI material shows in MD04.

    It appears the 15" 2.2 ghz isn't worth spending $400 more for, but you get the 1GB Radeon 6750M that has four times the VRAM than the 15" 2.0Ghz model and about 167% more performance. High settings on all current games with over 50 fps.
    If your not into 3D gaming or just light weight, then the 2.0 Ghz (last years performance) will suffice on low-medium settings at about 30 fps.
    The 13" is rather poor as it has integrated graphics. 30 fps on only some games.
    The high res screen is a excellent choice and the anti-glare is great for viewing just about anywhere.
    No messy films to replace at $30-$40 a pop.
    A lot of people bring the glossy screens back once they hear about the anti-glare.

    Here's my 17"
    In my opinion the extra $400 for another 2-3 years of use out of the computer is worth it.
    Quad cores are more than enough for most uses for most people for many years, it's just a slow card is going to make the machine feel slow in rendering graphics in the future.

  • Stock Posting and Journal Posting Mismatch

    Hi experts,
    I am facing a peculiar problem while creating inventory initial quantities.
    Problem is as follows.
    I have created a transaction for an item x in initial quantities
    Item = x , Qty = 2 nos and Price = 10000
    In Inventory audit report the system is showing 2x10000 = 20000
    But in Journal Entry Created for the above Transaction is showing as follows
    Account Name                         Dr        Cr
    Stock Account                    60000
    Inventory OB Account                       60000
    The above is an example - I found the similar type  transaction in the system about 15 transactions
    and I have verified the value of inventory audit and the respective stock accounts - The difference is only from this 15 transactions.
    We are using SAP Business one 8.8 PL12
    and have checked for data inconsistency found no error
    For your information we would have created about 1000 entries of initial quantity the error is only in this 15 transactions
    Can any on help us in solving this issue ASAP
    With Regards,
    Karthik

    Hi Karthik.........
    Have you checked the General Ledger of Stock Account in Financials> Financial Reports> Financial> Accounting> General Ledger wihtin particular date range?.....

  • Stock tracking and stock posting

    Hello,
    In the Stock Management/stock transactions/Initial quantities, stock tracking and stock posting,
    Suppose the following context:
    Item stock: 1000
    Counted: 900 (posted in stock tracking)
    When reconciling in stock posting is raising this error:
    "Item price has not been entered"
    though we choosed Allow Inbound Posting without Price.
    This is only happening when the counted quantity is smaller than the item stock, that is, in the example given everything is OK for counted quantities >= 1000.

    We have try in 2005PL45, and it worked. So, we suppose this could be a bug. The strange thing is that it worked in a previous version!
    Do you know something about this behaviour?
    Thank you for your help,

    Hi Dear,
                Use T . Code u2013 OMBT, then go to change interval , then go to edit > insert year (f6) and mention in year 9999 and choose the number range interval from number to number and mention in current number is 0 and save exit.

  • Customizing Paging File: what is the recommended initial and maximum size?

    Hi everyone, and Harm,
    Following Harm's response to my question about how to setup disks, Harm said this:
    "disk allocation: It is a three stage process, first you define the boot order in the BIOS, then you format the disks inWindows and allocate drive letters, then still in Windows you setup the pagefile. Then the allocation of media cache, preview, project etc. is done in the preferences and project setup of PR."
    and I have a question about paging file.
    First let me say describe my new machine, it has a 4 disc setup, no RAID, 16GB RAM, with OCZ-Vertex3 for OS & Programs, i.e. i have installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit on this disc, and Web Premium CS5 and Acrobat Pro 9. In BIOS, i have made the OCZ (OS) disk, be the priority in the Boot order.
    Later, after verifying the system is in working order, i will upgrade to Classic Collection CS5.5, so at this point, i have named my 3 additional disks as such,
    WDC WD 2002FAEX-007BA0 - "Media Projects(D)"
    WDC WD 1002FAEX-00Y9A0 - "Pagefile, Media Cache (E)"
    WDC WD 1002FAEX-00Y9A0 - "Previews, Exports(F)"
    So, for now these are simply names, which i have given to the various disks, and now i am changing the paging file, switching it from happening in the OS disk, in order to happen inthe disk which (via Premier, later) will be designated for Media Cache.
    So, in Windows Performance Options pane, I went to Advanced tab, & under Virtual memory I hit "change", uncheck Automatically manage paging file size for all drives, select drive E, which is the disk that's to have the paging file happen in it.
    And the question, assuming that i am supposed to select Custom size, can you Harm, or/and others, please recommend the Initial and Maximum sizes?
    Or, should i select "System managed size"?
    Thanks:)

    Keep in mind Video/Animation applications use more ram now than almost any other type and there are far more memory hungry services running in the background as well. Consider the normal recommendations are for standard applications. HD material changed far more than just the need for 64Bit memory addressing.

  • Generic questions about CMYK profiles and proofing

    I just read a big book about color management and am trying to make it happen but it seems that in real life I can't get good results.
    I have my scanner profiled and it produces aRGB docs.
    All good and fine. The images look good on the monitor (which also is profiled.)
    Now these images I place inside InDesign as aRGB.
    And at some point comes the time for soft proofing.
    So I start experimenting with different CMYK profiles.
    First question: Should I already do a CMYK conversion for my images in Photoshop or is it ok to do it in InDesign when exporting to PDF?
    Coated Fogra27/39, ISO Coated v2 and Euroscale Coated v2 seem to change the colors only slightly.
    But when I turn on "Simulate Paper Color" all hell breaks loose. The paper color seems to be always a cold horrible grey and the image is darkened and dulled. It looks like in need of serious color correction.
    And further how do these generic profiles know about my paper color anyway?
    So maybe this feature should only be used if the profile is custom made for a specific printer and paper.
    Second question: has anyone succesfully used the simulation of paper color with a custom made profile?
    But it seems that custom profiles are something I can only use at home because the printing service providers seem to be quite unaware of profiling their machines for a specific paper (or profiling it at all).
    They tell me to send a "pure" CMYK file without any profiles. But that is impossible because to transform an RGB in CMYK one MUST use a profile.
    Third question: Which kind of profile should I use when I am instructed to provide a profile-less CMYK document?
    And finally what is the purpose of proofing in the first place if I don't know exactly the profile created for the combination of the output machine and output paper? This issue becomes clearer when using (slightly) colored paper.
    - Rami Ojares

    >First question: Should I already do a CMYK conversion for my images in Photoshop or is it ok to do it in InDesign when exporting to PDF?
    You can save the conversion until you make the PDF if you like, especially if you don't know the correct profile in advance, but you lose the ability to fine-tune and individual image.
    >But when I turn on "Simulate Paper Color" all hell breaks loose. The paper color seems to be always a cold horrible grey and the image is darkened and dulled. It looks like in need of serious color correction.
    I think this is mostly a case of your eye accommodating to the brightness of the screen. I'm not sure how to avoid this, and I generally don't use the simulate paper color. Comparing my screen to the real printed output without the simulation seems pretty close. Even a generic profile makes an assumption about the color of the paper stock, but a custom profile would be more accurate.
    >Third question: Which kind of profile should I use when I am instructed to provide a profile-less CMYK document?
    As you already said, you can't do the conversion without knowing the profile. What they are asking is that you don't embed that profile when you do the conversion to PDF. This means they can use a file prepared for the wrong profile and not risk further conversion at the RIP which would create rich blacks from you 100% K elements (type), but the colors wouldn't be 100% correct unless the profile you chose for conversion originally matched the press.
    Generic profiles are a quasi-standard that most presses can match, but may not be able to produce quite as wide a color gamut as a custom profile, but many presses don't have a custom profile available. You should ask for a "contract proof" to check the color before the press runs, and if possible go to the printer for the make-ready and check the color on the press before the whole run is printed. There is a LOT of color control available to a skilled press operator, and expect some variation through the run.

  • Question about abstract classes and instances

    I have just read about abstract classes and have learned that they cannot be instantiated.
    I am doing some exercises and have done a class named "Person" and an abstract class named "Animal".
    I want to create a method in "Person" that makes it possible to set more animals to Person objects.
    So I wrote this method in class Person and compiled it and did not get any errors, but will this work later when I run the main-method?
    public void addAnimal(Animal newAnimal)
         animal.add(newAnimal);
    }Is newAnimal not an instance?

    Roxxor wrote:
    Ok, but why is it necessary with constructors in abstract classes if we dont use them (because what I have understand, constructors are used to create objects)?Constructors don't create objects. The new operator creates objects. An object's c'tor is invoked after the object has already been created. The c'tors job is to initialize the newly-created object to a valid state. Whenever a child object is created, the parent's c'tor is run before the child's c'tor, so that by the time we're inside the child's c'tor, setting up the child's state, we know that the parent (or rather the "parent part" of the object we're initializing) is in a valid state.
    Constructor rules:
    1) Every class has at least one ctor.
    1.1) If you do not define an explicit constructor for your class, the compiler provides a implicit constructor that takes no args and simply calls super().
    1.2) If you do define one or more explicit constructors, regardless of whether they take args, then the compiler no longer provides the implicit no-arg ctor. In this case, you must explicitly define a public MyClass() {...} if you want one.
    1.3) Constructors are not inherited.
    2) The first statement in the body of any ctor is either a call to a superclass ctor super(...) or a call to another ctor of this class this(...) 2.1) If you do not explicitly put a call to super(...) or this(...) as the first statement in a ctor that you define, then the compiler implicitly inserts a call to super's no-arg ctor super() as the first call. The implicitly called ctor is always super's no-arg ctor, regardless of whether the currently running ctor takes args.
    2.2) There is always exactly one call to either super(...) or this(...) in each constructor, and it is always the first call. You can't put in more than one, and if you put one in, the compiler's implicitly provided one is removed.

  • Delivery Order and PGI in Third Party Shipment scneario

    Hi all,
    I am just wondering how is delivery order and goods issue is perform in the SAP system in a third part shipment scenario? Is it require?
    Since this is third party shipment to my customer, do I need to create a delivery order and PGI in the system? and how is it done, is it the supplier call me about the shipment arrive at customer dock, and I create the DO and PGI? what if someone forget?
    thanks

  • Create STO,Delivery and PGI delivery from an interface

    Hi,
    We are using a third party WMS system to manifest and ship orders froma  distribution center to a store. The only data that is going to come into SAP is the Bill of Lading as to how much has shipped for a material to the store from the DC. This has to drive a Stock transport order cycle of creating an STO, create and PGI delivery. As we are building the interface,  I am a bit confused as to how we can make all this happen from one data feed.  Since there is only one feed and it has to trigger mutliple processes should we trigger multiple idocs (different types) to trigger the STO creation, create the delivery and PGI it (Delivery 03 idoc)?
    Will it be too cumbersome to build all this logic in the interface?
    Another option would be to create the STO using the feed, then run VL10B in a given time interval (Background) to create the delivery.
    However, I am not 100% sure how you can spawn off a PGI job? Even if I were to run the VL02n program in the background how can I populate the pick quantity?
    Any insight would be very useful.
    Thanks..

    My assumption is just you need to adopt delivery qty as pick qty.You are not doing any TR ,TO as your ware house is third party managed.
    you need to define the picking form EKOO to your shipping point type and then the quontity will copy
    You can do it in the difintion of the shipping point, you have to difine send time = 4
    I will explain how need to  set up this automatic picking, and then you can
    work backwards from there. The automatic picking you are experiencing
    is actually related to the output type EK00 assigned to your shipping
    point.
    Consider the following two setup steps which will result is automatic
    picking:
    Set the output type to EKOO, in the print picking list of the shipping
    point in customizing.
    Make sure the parameters below are set:
    Message Language
    Number of Messages
    Send Time <<<<<<<<<<< this must be set to 4 (send immed)!!
    Transmission Medium
    1) you have to set the parameters for EK00 in the shipping-point-
    maintenance in customizing:
    -> Enterprise Structure
    -> Definition
    -> Logistics Execution
    -> Define, copy, delete, check shipping point
    2) as second step you define the shipping-print-parameters in
    customizing:
    -> Logistics Execution
    -> Shipping
    -> Basic Shipping Functions
    -> Output Control
    -> Define print parameters shipping
    -> Shipping (Spec.case)
    Therein there should be an entry for every shipping-point, where
    you like to use the picking-list EK00!
    If you have 1 & 2 setup for a particular shipping point you will
    experience the "automatic" picking of deliveries.
    and finally picking storage  location determined as per storage conditions maintained in material master.
