In terms of complexity how do the following Sun certifications rate : SCJP and SCWCD ?
What other SUn certifications are desirable for jobs in designing secure web based systems which handle financial transactions?

there aren't many (recognised) certificates that cover secure implementation
of software systems yet, most only relate to networking and so on.

We are developing an embedded system. We need install a web server in our system. We got some information about Sun web server, but it is not enough for us to decide which web server we should use. Would you please give me some detail information of Sun web server?
1.Firstly, we will use the web server in an embedded system. Can Sun web server run in the embedded system, such as VxWroks, Embed Linux?
2.Secondly, we will use chroot jail to enhance the security. Can Sun web server support chroot jail?

on the program itself I have never used it before I talked to one person who has and he likes it. DrJava is not too bad it has a REPL which comes in hand once and a while, emacs is really good too well the best really there is so many docs on it too.

As I have already an Oracle Certified (OCP) in 8i, 9i & 10g. I would like to know, if I can go for sun certifications. Because, in our organization I sometimes perform some basic Sun Administration Activities. So, thought of appearing Sun Exams.

Yea, the more important for your career is have various skills, in some time you need work in others environments when them need other skills and you will must prepare for that. In my case i have some certifications how Database Administrator and Solution Developer and i can change the profile and skills on depend of the environment requirements

I know abap a little.Now iam interested to do SCJP( SUN CERTIFIED JAVA PROGRAMMING) is these fields are in same tract or different tract.

I asked a similar question a week or so ago, and this is the general answer I got:
If you are a current student in high school or college, no. If you study object oriented languages like C++ and Java during school and you're in your early/mid twenties when you graduate, 99% chance you'll have multiple job offers before you've actually received your diploma.
If you've never studied computers before or are just now picking up Java, then Sun Certification will carry some weight with employers because it will show your dedication and ability to code. However, my current employer is more interested in workers who have some knowledge of many different related areas (HTML, Java, scripting languages, for example) rather than an employee who is a master of a single area.
