PLEASE READ ALL EMAIL. ANYONE THAT CAN HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. As you read through the emails, you will see that "C" the customer service person responds the same way. All the emails are from the same thread. I would reply to his email, he would, I guess, copy and paste an answer, and the response is the same. He never pays attention to the previous emails. HELP PLEASE!!!
This is very frustrating to me. If you read back through your emails, you state the SAME INFO 4 times. If you would read my email AND see thescreen shots attached you would see. Why do you continuously state the same info..(SEE RED HIGHLIGHTS BELOW).I NEED HELP ASAP TO GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF...Do you have any other info EXCEPT for what is listed below??????

Addressing your concern is really important for me. I will do my best to answer your question.
S, if your computer is not currently authorized to play your account's purchases, when you try to play an iTunes Store purchase, the authorization dialog will appear. You will see the name of the account that purchased the item. If you've changed your account name, replace the old account name with the new name, then enter your password and click Authorize. This authorizes your computer to play the account's purchases.

I do not get an error, I do not even get the authorization dialog. I have sent 2 screen shots, they are attached.
When I try to play an iTunes store purchase, a bubble pops up and states that this computer is not authorized. It does not pop up account name or password. I have also completed everything stated in the http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1389 link.
This is very frustrating.

Details:
I am trying to authorize my new computer. I do not see AUTHORIZE MY COMPUTER anywhere. I see COMPUTER AUTHORIZATIONS, but not an option to authorize.There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them: -

You can try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store
How much was the amount ? A 'normal' holding charge is a small amount (e.g. equivalent to about $1), and usually happens after you add or change credit card details on your account. Here in the UK it can take a few working days for it to disappear (so a weekend can extend the elapsed time).
Edit : I don't know what a non-liability certificate is and/or whether Apple can do one. -
Information about the upcoming version of WLST
Satya,
could you please share some information about the new features of the upcoming version of WLST.
I am asking because currently I am trying very hard to implement Python code to setup our entire WLS 8.1 domains (including custom MBeans with our security providers).
This is maybe useless because with the new version of WLST everything is already available.
Will the new version WLST support the following topics?
- creation / deletion of security realms (including display name)
- creation / deletion of security providers
- addition / removal of security providers to / from a security realm
Against these topics I am currently fighting most :-)
Does anyone have corresponding Python code to share?
Cheers,
TorstenTorsten, Attached 4 scripts that add atn, atz, audit and remove a provider.
This script creates a new security ATN Provider of type com.bea.atn.MyNewAtnProvider

realmName = 'Security:Name=myrealm'
realm = ObjectName(realmName)

newAtnProv = ObjectName(atnTestProvName)
# create the provider
create(newAtnName, 'com.bea.atn.MyNewAtnProvider')

mbs.setAttribute(newAtnProv, Attribute('Realm', realm))
# change the controlFlag's
mbs.setAttribute(atnProv, Attribute('ControlFlag', 'OPTIONAL'))

# Add the newly created authorizer to the realm
mbs.setAttribute(realm, Attribute('Authorizers', array([atzProv,atzProv], ObjectName)))
# set the authorizer on the realm
mbs.setAttribute(atzProv, Attribute('Realm', realm))
This script creates a default auditor and adds it to the realm

create(audProvName,'weblogic.security.providers.audit.DefaultAuditor')
mbs.setAttribute(realm, Attribute('Auditors', array([audProv], ObjectName)))

mbs.setAttribute(realm, Attribute('AuthenticationProviders', array([atnProv,atnIdentProv], ObjectName)))
delete( delAtnName, 'com.bea.atn.MyNewAtnProvider' )

HT1848 I can't find the "Authorize Computer" button on the Itunes Store menu

Macs: iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.

In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
Also see, iTunes Store- Authorize or deauthorize your Mac or PC -
I have several songs that I purchased. They show in my library, but won't play on any of my devices - including my computer. I keep getting the "authorize the computer" prompt. My computer is authorized! I have done all the troubleshoots that are available. How do I get my computer and other devices to be able to play these songs? Almost all my songs play except for about 8 or 9.
If only some of the songs on an album are giving you the authorisation message, that suggests those song files are damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items. -

More On De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us. -

Question about the shared folder when backing up audio
Hello, kind Mac folk. I've read a lot about using Itunes to backup Itunes libraries onto multiple CD-R's and it seems that, right now, this is the best option for me. However, I've also read that it's a good idea to also backup the "users/shared" folder from the HD because it contains some invisible information regarding the authentication of music that I purchased using my .Mac/Itunes account. So is it possible to burn this folder in the same burning project I'll use accross the CD-R's on which my tunes will go? Or do I need to place this folder in a burn folder and back it up that way? And, if the latter is the only way possible, will it matter that the information is on a separate disc if I ever need to restore or upgrade my hardware? Thanks so much for your help and advice.
AustinIf you create your backup CD-Rs from within iTunes, it's not possible to include the Shared folder.
You have to burn that folder as a separate project.
The size of the folder can be fairly large (mine is about 1.9 GB) depending on the applications and specific use of your computer.
If your only goal is to save the authorization info in case of a HD crash or other failure, it won't help. After repair of a logic board or changing RAM, you will be asked to authorize again anyway.
Take a look at this article
The authorization info is stored in the 'SC Info.sidb' file inside the 'SC Info' folder in Shared.
You can 'unhide' invisible files by tools like Tinkertool or OnyX (you can find them on versiontracker.com)
Hope this helps.

P_ABAP not skipping the authorization check
Hi All,
I would require your assistance on the following issue at earliest.
HR key users are executing the HR standard reports by using the t-code S_PH0_48000509 Adhoc query and also with t-code SQ01. when they executing the reports, system has been checking their authorizations while executing the report and this execution time of report taking longer and also throwing a ABAP DUMP.
Hence, I gone through some blogs and also sap help about the auth object P_ABAP, as stated in the help I have provide an access to the user
with option 2 under
P_ABAP (HR: Reporting) - Authorizations for Human Resources - SAP Library
HR InfoSets for InfoSet Query (SAP Library - InfoSet Query)
But system still checking the authorization against the user in both foreground and background for above t-codes. Please assist on the same
Thanking you,
KoteshHi,
The P_ABAP object works with programs, in the transaction you mention, the program getting the final result is not the same as the one behing the transaction for the AdHoc query... The programs for the queries are generated because the user has to make selection for input and output.
So from there you cannot use this simplifcation object. But if the users starts already saved queries (and not infoset), then you could find and use that specific report.
I tried and traced myself:
AUTH
P_ABAP
RC=0 REPID=!QZZ/SAPQUERY/H0MUYLAE08141045;COARS=2;type=TR;name=S_PH0_48000509;
AUTH
P_ABAP
RC=0 REPID=SAPDBPNP;COARS=2;type=TR;name=S_PH0_48000509;
The name of the report is generated and always starts with something like AQZZ* or !QZZ*
But this is because they work from the Infoset.
If you start from the SQ01 and the queries:
AUTH
P_ABAP
RC=0 REPID=AQZZ/SAPQUERY/H0CM_02========= ;COARS=2;type=TR;name=SQ01;
AUTH
P_ABAP
RC=0 REPID=SAPDBPNP;COARS=2;type=TR;name=SQ01;
There the name of the query is fixed because the structure of the selection, the fileds are already defined and fixed. You only choose the values to be processed.
The name is no more generic but always the same AQZZ/SAPQUERY/H0CM_02 for:
AQZZ this is for a query from infoset /SAPQUERY/H0 on query CM_02
The second line on the trace, is very dangerous to use because this would skip all HR controls in PNP programs, meaning almost all HR programs... So I do not recommand that option.
Best regards,
Jonathan -
