About the old board 770T-C45

i am just an ordinary user, i can only assemble computer bascally
recently i am interested to buy a new motherboard like 770T-C45
(to keep the AM2 CPU and DDR2 RAM, i prefer this board cause it also support AM3 CPU)
i have seen the official document HD Test, 770T-C45 can support WD20EADS (early ones)

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

Concerned about the logic board

I have found out recently that iBooks tend to have bad logic boards. My works fine for now, but I am curious what can I do to make sure that it stays that way?

The best (and, really, only) advice is to never pick it up by the left front corner alone. If you pick it up with your left hand (as I often do mine), be sure to grab it in the center under the trackpad instead of by that left front corner (and, unrelated to the logic board, never pick it up by the open display, either).

Question about the logic board and video

Hi, i own a macbook pro 17 in. @ 2.4 ghz, and have the nvida 8600 gt card. I'm pretty sure that the card has failed since no video has shown up during start up 2 weeks ago (i asked a friend of mine, and he had the same problem with a macbook pro 15 in., he was pretty positive on a card failure). I brought it to the local genius bar, and they fixed some firmware or whatnot, and it worked fine for a week. A week later, the same problem of no video showed up during start up.
My question is if this is a video card issue, is it possible that the logic board could have been damaged from the faulty video card? The tech. told me that it might be the board, and im afraid of paying the hefty repair fee, although i personally feel that the card is all to blame.

Note that Apple will do the repair free of charge if the chip fails within the first two years of ownership. The repair will be to replace the logic board, as Apple does not work on boards at the component level. Your machine should be new enough to qualify for the free repair.

Question about the on board connector Line In / Microphone In / *Digital

My computer case with the front 2 audio ports has 3 different type connectors 2 that are for the motherboard (which i really dont want to use) and the third is all the different connectors seperate there is a GROUND / RET-R / R-OUT / MIC-IN / L-OUT / RET-L / MIV-VVC
i know these fit the flat 8 pin on the sound card but i really dont know what order they go in i've looked alot of places to see if it tells me even some sort of color coding would be nice.... if any knows a short reply would be awsome.

About the old MobileMe sync icon on main bar

I understand that it's outdated, but how do you get rid of it? It provides no menu to quit it, Users & Groups in preferences doesn't help. I did shut down MobileMe in preferences before upgrading to ML (which doesn't have MM in preferences).

How come the icon "post new topic" appears for certain programs (FCP ect) but when I want to post a question under "I-Web" I do not get this option?

Be careful of different forums. They tend to do this. Make sure there isn't a 'list' of the forums on the top of all the threads. Usually those type of threads are a combination of posts added to the individual threads within.

If'n you had clicked on FINAL CUT STUDIO instead of FINAL CUT PRO you would have gotten that.

I changed my Apple ID a while ago but my iPad is asking for the old one to set up iCloud?

I changed my Apple ID a while ago because I got a new email address, and it works fine when I am downloading apps or music etc. but I just got the iOS 6 update on my iPad and it's asking for the password to my old apple ID to set up iCloud, iMessage, and FaceTime. I followed the steps to reset my password, but it's not working because its asking about the old email address and I can't seem to change it. It's an optional step but I'd like to be able to have this stuff set up on my iPad. Thanks for the help!

If you need to change the ID for iMessage, go to Settings>Massages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you need to change the ID for FaceTime, do the same thin in Settings>FaceTime.
If you need to change the ID for iCloud, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.
To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.

OK, I understand that new versions make use of facilities that come with new versions of IOS, but there is/was a version that runs on 3.1.3 and therefore, I assume 4.2.1. Where can I get the (old) version that runs on my IOS?

This is standard for Apple. While there is little official mention of the software support lifespan for equipment, typical support has been about 4-5 years for computers. It strikes me that newer items, especially mobile devices, are not built as sturdily nor do they have the hardware upgrade capabilities required to keep up with newer systems. When we bought an iPhone 4S we were told by the person in the store we'd probably be looking at a newer model in two years. The iPhone 3G could be anywhere from 2 to 4 years old, putting it well into.
As for app availability, Apple typically pulls old software versions from its site when new versions appear. If it is a non-Apple app then I guess it is up to the vendor. It is indeed tiresome but it is not at all unusual. Since I only ever run used Macs, I download current versions even though my computer won't run them, stick them on a hard drive, then I have them when I upgrade to a newer used computer. If you run older equipment you have to learn a different mode of operation to exist with the Apple 'new and innovative' but 'forget about the old' philosophy.

You're talking about the logic board. The two most likely things to get toasted, with water damage, are the battery(it shorts out), & the logic board. The worst water damage would be salt water. I'm afraid your logic board is toast.

Audit of attribute value change: is the old value available?

When changing the value of an user attribute in the FIM Portal, the new attribute value is properly logged. This can be read in the request and in the standard report FIMUserHistory.
The question is, what about the old value that was replaced? Is the old value available in the Data Warehouse somewhere, so one can make a report or is it gone forever (of course one can find the old value by looking at the previous attribute change or creation
event, but this could be too long time ago)?

As far I remember (I don't have access to test FIM Reporting now) in reports stored on Data Warehouse, there is no such thing as "old value". But as far I remember it, also very old data is stored there, so there can be something like:
User: JJK003 -> New attribute (mail) value: [email protected] (12.12.2013)
User: JJK003 -> New attribute (mail) value: [email protected] (12.02.2014)
so, if you look closely to a history and sort it by user - you can determine what was the old value.

In report, you have always most recent display name of this user and of attribute's display name, but history should show what value was inserted long time ago and what value was set a week ago - than you know what value was there previously.
But please be aware that users report, according to TechNet, does not include all properties:

I just purchased dreamweaver cs5. I am currently maintaining old sites that were creating with drop down menus using dreamweaver 8. I realize that this is a deprecated feature and I cannot create pop up the old way; however can I still edit these with dreamweaver cs5?
