About the V$ -- Commands
Hi,
I am using Oracle 10g. In this When i select the SELECT Statement i am getting the records in this V$Sysmetric, V@Sysstat and so on. At the same time when i select the another select statement, in this V$Sysmetric, V@Sysstat and so on records will be over-writing..!
Why this is happening ?
My requirement is, when i execute any number of SELECT statement the records will has to execute one by one in above commands and it has to be store it in one file also

A question about the SPOOL command in sqlplus
Dear all,
I have a question about the SPOOL Command and I would appreciate if you could kindly give me a hand. Consider the following sql script.
SPOOL result.txt
SELECT * FROM mytable;
SPOOL OFF;This works pretty well, and the whole content of the table "mytable" is exported to the text file "result.txt". However, sqlplus prints also the number of lines
printed after each query. As a result, after running this script, at the end of the file, I have always a line like
"20541 lines returned"How can I avoid this line (the number of returned lines) in my result file?
Thanks in advance,

Hi Dariyoosh,
As you are about to find out, SQL*Plus is a really powerful tool once the wonders of it are discovered.
You really should study the reference

About the ejbc command(repost, more detail info)
Hi all,
I have posted the problem before and still didn't resolved.
The problem is:
One stateless session ejb deployed on the iAS server,running ok. After added
a method, I used the ejbc -iiop -sl <home> <remote> <bean class> to compile
it, but it always said: (where the getErrMsg() was the newly added method,no
special setting(such as transaction etc.) required for it,just a simple
business method)
ejb_stub_MessageLogger.java:7: class
com.iaspec.bmx.hub.ejb.msglogger.ejb_stub_MessageLogger must be declared
abstract. It does not define java.util.HashMap getErrMsg() from interface
com.iaspec.bmx.hub.ejb.msglogger.MessageLogger.
But after I use iAS deploytool to reconstruct the ejb from scratch and
deployed it to iAS, I run the ejbc command again, it's ok now!!! Why?
Does anyone have experience of it?
plus: I don't want to use iAS deploytool any more, it's so cumbersome:(
Johnson LeeHi all,
The problem has been resovled. But it's still very strange!
After I copied these modified classes to the location in iAS where I
deployed the ejb to, or delete the ejb from iAS, the ejbc command run OK.
Is this an ejbc bug?

About the "show"command to realize CSM loading
Hi,
What information about CSM loading can I get from by using "sh ip slb tech-support",and I used "show ip slb stats" (the CSM mode is csm),what's the difference of "connection destroyed" and "connection failed",any reply will be very appreciated.Hi,
"Connections Destroyed" are the total number of connections that have been closed (for whatever reason). This stat should usually be close to [Connections Created - Connections Current].
The "Connections Failed" counter is incremented when 1) The server does not reply to a client SYN request, or 2) The server responds to a client SYN request with a RST.

hi,
Please guide me on what data should be associated with the command APDU.

Similarly what should be sent as a data (eg. AID in case of SELECT) with following APDU commands::::

I" ll try to help you. About the install command it's syntax is:
install(byte[] bArray,short bOffset,byte bLength)
The bArray contains the installation parameters, but from what I read in
the book they are optional. From the example of the book it seems
that generally they are some initialization values for the variables of
the applet.
I didn't find any info about the other commands that you mention.Sorry! -
How do I back up the music and apps etc. I restored my computer and I reinstalled iTunes, I was told something about a terminal command line, what does that mean? Please help
- Transfer iTunes purchases to the computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
- Transfer any other music by using a third-party program like one of those discussed here:
Copy music
- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup. The restore will also update the iOS.
Note that the backup that iTunes makes does not include synced media like apps and music
Are you sure you have a 3G iPod? A 1G iPod can only go to iOS 3.1.3

I have windows 7 32bit platform. Is there any command that can be run from the command line just to inquire about the language bar that is currently in use? Suppose I have English keyboard on my machine but I am switching between 3 languages when I write
my documents (e.g. English, German, Spanish). I want to know if there is any way to tell what language layout that is in current use as seen in the language bar. This question is not about how to change language layout from the command line -- just to know
what layout. For example, the command can return some sort of string to indicate which layout is currently in use: "english", "german", "spanish", and so on.
My ultimate goal from this question is to pass this output into an external editor that will hopefully change font based on the input language? Any help to achieve this goal will be much appreciated.
Or put differently, what is the best way to tell an external editor like Emacs about the current language layout that is in current use?For the current input language you can try using
reg query "HKCU\Keyboard Layout\Preload" /v 1
The return value includes an eight digit hex value. The first four digits indicate either default layout for the language (all zeros) or a variation (non-zero). The last four digits are the locale id - see:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/goglobal/bb964664.aspx
From this table, you can see in the example above my input language is English - Australia.
For the keyboard layout you could try
WMIC Path Win32_Keyboard Get Layout
0409 is an English - US keyboard.
For a few other ideas/methods try reading

CBWFQ: Question about the output of "show policy-map interface" command
Hi everyone,
I have a question about the output of "show policy-map interface" command.
The following is the output of this command and lower side of the output shows
(total queued/total drops/no-buffer drops) 0/342/0
If the packets drop occur due to the situation of no enough buffer,
"no-buffer drops" counted up. But "no-buffer drops" has not been counted up.
The "no-buffer drops" is 0 (zero) but "total drops" are counted as 342.
I guess there are other factors except "no-buffer drops" to add "total drops".
But I can not find any information about "other factors".
So I would like to know the "other factors" added to "total drops".

Caution About Using the Email Command
I have just done preliminary investigation into a potential problem with using the Email command in Aperture (2.0.1). If Mail Preferences/Composing are set to use RTF, then even a single selected photo that results in an email message (where no text whatsoever is entered) is preceded with some extraneous headers, and quite a bit of HTML code. This will trigger the problems recipients using Outlook and Outlook Express (but not limited to those email clients) are well known to have with attachments appearing to be embedded in HTML code resulting from Mail.
If the Compose preferences are set in Mail to use Plain Text, then nothing precedes the attached image, unless something is typed, intentionally.
This defeats the automatic conversion to Plain Text that Mail normally uses when only one font, and no multiple size or colors for that one font, are used. While I keep my Compose preferences set to use RTF, typically, I have relied upon the auto conversion to Plain Text to keep my messages from being problematic to certain recipients.
There would appear to be no purpose in the extraneous headers and HTML being added as a result of the Email command. I have not gone back and tested Aperture 1.5.x for this issue.
Btw, you will not see the extraneous headers nor HTML without using View/Message and choosing Raw Source.

Or wait for the platform and program to mature a little bit. Whenever you buy brand new cutting edge material there are bound to be some flaws.
Best to report your complaint directly to MSI.
>>How to contact MSI.<<
Oh yes, when I bought into the Haswell platform I knew there were going to be maturity speed bumps and that was part of the risk in the buying decision. I just couldn't see shelling out nearly the same amount of money for the 1155 socket and processor that had essentially been stamped EOL. Besides, how else do you get the intense satisfaction of beta-testing a very expensive platform for future users? -
About the command summary in datasheet
I'm trying to build a driver for a laser by using Labview.
attached is the application note. the related command summary begins in page 11.
I want to scan the frequency of the laser and plot the power of each frequency. can anyone tell me which commands to use?
Attachments:
11FM1046B - TTX1994 application note.pdf 4150 KBMy rule of thumb for making instrument drivers is to first figure out what you would do manually to set up the instrument. Write down each and every step you do. Then go digging into the manual for the command that does each of those steps. Unless you truely understand the instrument, it is next to impossible to write a driver for it.
There are only two ways to tell somebody thanks: Kudos and Marked Solutions

A problem about the policy of RMS which is added more than 500 principals
Hello specialists ,
I've a question about RMS , when I added more than about 500 principals (users & groups ) into a policy in the RMS , it will report an error for any operation about the policy , and I find the error message as followed (for theconvenience, I paste all of the logs in the weblogic).
We have tested all of our environments : Weblogic , JBoss , Websphere , each of them makes the same mistake . those operations include : try to open the documents protected by this kind of policies , to disable or enable the policies, to look the detail from the "adminui" . when decreasing the principals for this kind of policy to almost 450 (I am not sure the clearly number) with java code , the results will be ok .
So anyone can help me ? It's really very important for us , becuase our customer refused to pay the left money of this project till this problem is resolved . and I have reported this problem to the Enterprise Support in Indian (the case is :181916446), but , obviously , it seems they are burning my patience . At the same time , I think it's a problem of the product , I think the SQL is really very bad ,at least , not so good .
Any help will be very appreciated !

A question about the impact of SQL*PLUS SERVEROUTPUT option on v$sql
Hello everybody,
SQL> SELECT * FROM v$version;
BANNER
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production
PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
CORE 11.2.0.1.0 Production
TNS for Linux: Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
NLSRTL Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
SQL>
OS : Fedora Core 17 (X86_64) Kernel 3.6.6-1.fc17.x86_64I would like to ask a question about the SQL*Plus SET SERVEROUTPUT ON/OFF option and its impact on queries on views such as v$sql and v$session. Here is the problem
Actually I define three variables in SQL*Plus in order to store sid, serial# and prev_sql_id columns from v$session in order to be able to use them later, several times in different other queries, while I'm still working in the current session.
So, here is how I proceed
SET SERVEROUTPUT ON; -- I often activate this option as the first line of almost all of my SQL-PL/SQL script files
SET SQLBLANKLINES ON;
VARIABLE mysid NUMBER
VARIABLE myserial# NUMBER;
VARIABLE saved_sql_id VARCHAR2(13);
-- So first I store sid and serial# for the current session
BEGIN
SELECT sid, serial# INTO :mysid, :myserial#
FROM v$session
WHERE audsid = SYS_CONTEXT('UserEnv', 'SessionId');
END;
PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
-- Just check to see the result
SQL> SELECT :mysid, :myserial# FROM DUAL;
:MYSID :MYSERIAL#
129 1067
SQL> Now, let's say that I want to run the following query as the last SQL statement run within my current session
SELECT * FROM employees WHERE salary >= 2800 AND ROWNUM <= 10;According to Oracle® Database Reference 11g Release 2 (11.2) description for v$session
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e25513/dynviews_3016.htm#REFRN30223]
the column prev_sql_id includes the sql_id of the last sql statement executed for the given sid and serial# which in the case of my example, it will be the above mentioned SELECT query on the employees table. As a result, right after the SELECT statement on the employees table I run the following
BEGIN
SELECT prev_sql_id INTO :saved_sql_id
FROM v$session
WHERE sid = :mysid AND serial# = :myserial#;
END;
PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
SQL> SELECT :saved_sql_id FROM DUAL;
:SAVED_SQL_ID
9babjv8yq8ru3
SQL> Having the value of sql_id, I'm supposed to find all information about cursor(s) for my SELECT statement and also its sql_text value in v$sql. Yet here is what I get when I query v$sql upon the stored sql_id
SELECT child_number, sql_id, sql_text
FROM v$sql
WHERE sql_id = :saved_sql_id;
CHILD_NUMBER SQL_ID SQL_TEXT
0 9babjv8yq8ru3 BEGIN DBMS_OUTPUT.GET_LINES(:LINES, :NUMLINES); END;Therefore instead of
SELECT * FROM employees WHERE salary >= 2800 AND ROWNUM <= 10;for the value of sql_text I get the following value
BEGIN DBMS_OUTPUT.GET_LINES(:LINES, :NUMLINES);Which is not of course what I was expecting to find in v$sql for the given sql_id.
After a bit googling I found the following thread on the OTN forum where it had been suggested (well I think maybe not exactly for the same problem) to turn off SERVEROUTPUT.
Problem with dbms_xplan.display_cursor
This was precisely what I did
SET SERVEROUTPUT OFFafter that I repeated the whole procedure and this time everything worked pretty well as expected. I checked SQL*Plus documentation for SERVEROUTPUT
and also v$session page, yet I didn't find anything indicating that SERVEROUTPUT should be switched off whenever views such as v$sql, v$session
are queired. I don't really understand the link in terms of impact that one can have on the other or better to say rather, why there is an impact
Could anyone kindly make some clarification?
thanks in advance,

Hi Dariyoosh,
SET SERVEROUTPUT ON has the effect of executing dbms_output.get_lines after each and every statement. Not only related to system view.
Here below what Tom Kyte is explaining in this page:
Now, sqlplus sees this functionality and says "hey, would not it be nice for me to dump this buffer to screen for the user?". So, they added the SQLPlus command "set serveroutput on" which does two things
1) it tells SQLPLUS you would like it <b>to execute dbms_output.get_lines after each and every statement</b>. You would like it to do this network rounding after each call. You would like this extra overhead to take place (think of an install script with hundreds/thousands of statements to be executed -- perhaps, just perhaps you don't want this extra call after every call)
2) SQLPLUS automatically calls the dbms_output API "enable" to turn on the buffering that happens in the package.Regards.
