About the Vietnam map data

I live in Vietnam Hanoi and I am using Nokia N82.Isn't there any map data which a way name understands?

there is now a garmin-compatible vector graphic map for Vietnam on the market. This map also works with Garmin Mobile XT whicha also runs on some Nokia models. You can check the map out on www.gps-navigation.at.tf .
This is the best digital maps for GPS devices for Vietnam on the market.

As with just about any role, it really depends on the organization. There are dozens if not hundreds of jobs that different organizations might label "Data Analyst." A lot of what a statistician, an economist, or an actuary does would count as data analysis. So would a lot of what a business analyst does. So would a lot of what an software architect does.

Is there a way to roll back ios6? I upgraded before I knew about the new mapping. I used google maps all the time and absolutely hate the new one. Just about everything I've looked for is wrong or missing.

I hate the mapping in IOS6. Is there a way to roll back to the older OS? When I upgraded I didn't know about the mapping change. I used google maps a lot, for a variety of things. In just a few searches I've found more errors or missing landmarks than anything else. I really hate this app!

I agree. How can I roll back to the previous OS? Developers, please post a procedure for reverting.

What about the 50% extra data for new customers?

I signed up for Verizon HomeFusion 17 days ago. I copied the following straight off your webpage for new HomeFusion customers:
"New customers to the service will receive 50% more data allowance for their first 2 full billing cycles. Requires new 2-year activation." Why am I getting data usage alerts and my account is only showing 10 GB allotted for this month. My bill shows that I was allotted 15 GB for only two days (1/24-1/25). It hasn't been two months yet, barely even two weeks. Who do I contact to get this fixed?

Getting data overage alerts can certainly be concerning flair_2000. Let's get to the bottom of your usage concerns. Customer gets a 50% data bonus on their prorated billing cycle at activation. If you are currently on the 10 GB data plan, with the 50% more data, you will obtain an additional 5GB of data. When is your bill cycle end? Depending on your bill cycle, you will still obtain data usage alerts. For example, the 10 GB of data usage will be prorated depending on when service is activated and your bill cycle ends. The 5GB of extra data will not be prorated.

QUestion about the Explorer for Data Files on Zen X

I would like to put some of my school document files and architectural drawings onto the Zen Xtra as a Hard Dri've, but do I need to install the CD that came with it before I can actually put files onto it's

Unfortunately, the Zen does not show up as a dri've when you plug it into the computer (it's not just the xtra, the touch doesn't either), I understand the plight that you're going through. You will need to use the intallation disk to install Nomad Explorer because you can do a transfer like that. I shows up as an item in my computer, Once it finds the player there will be a music folder and a data folder, just open the data folder and drag and drop. Hope this hel

I have a school laptop where all my files are but unfortunately I don't have admin rights so I can't intall the software/drivers so I use my home network and cds as well as my flash dri've to move any new files over to my home desktop to transfer to my zen. It works well for a weekly backup, that sort of thing...Sorry but you'll have to use the install disk. As long as your an admin, no prob.

HT5429 What can I do about the fact that IOS maps no longer shows my home street correctly on the map?

It showed correctly under Google maps but whole sections of the street are missing under IOS 6.
I have tried reporting the problem via the recommended method and received no response. I know that this is also a problem in Tom Tom because I discovered after paying a significant amount for their iPhone app only to find my address missing on their maps. I tried reporting it to them months ago and they made no change in their app or maps. I do not live in a remote area but a within the city limits of metropolitan area and the house has been here since 1929, giving Apple and Tom Tom ample time to get it right!
I am very disappointed that neither Apple or Tom Tom have not even responded to my request despite my investment in their products.

What exactly do you mean by "people ike[sic] me?" You presume to know me from a few words I have written here?! I am not enough of a true believer to suit you?! I dare to question decisions that others have made that affect me?!
Well I will share one thing about me. I am a long time Apple user and supporter (Mac Plus) but I am also a firm believer in the maxim, "If it aint broke, don't fix it!" It seems to me the only thing Apple sought to fix in their switch to Tom Tom's mapping data was their link to a growing competitor, Google. The many complaints from those with a signifcant investment in affected Apple products like me (2 iPads, 2 iPhones, 2 iPods) are well founded and deserving of a voice. There have been many problems with the new map data reported and not a lot of bravos. I have read on a similar thread to this one the Apple has said it may be 2-3 years to get the maps up to speed.
I don't know about you, but the Google maps data was working fine for me including all the other apps it integrated with. So why should I have to go out and spend my hard earned money on another platform? Why should I not expect that Apple will be responsive to its users if we raise our voices in protest of an uneeded change that has produced bad results.
Maybe my choice of the word "foist" (to introduce or insert surreptitiously or without warrant) was a little strong but who here feels they were consulted by Apple before they made this major switch that affects so much of the functionality of their portable devices?

If I update from ios 5.0.1 to 5.1.1 will I lose my map data? When I updated to 5.0 I lost all my GPSHD Motion X data - 25 Gbytes.

If I update from IOS 5.0.1 to 5.1.1 will I lose all my GPSHD Motion X map data? When I updated to IOS 5.0.1 I lost about 25GBytes of map data because Itunes will not back up my GPSHD map data.

I havn't used that app, but you shouldn't lose any data by updating to 5.1.1 from 5.0.1.
You can make sure you have a backup before updating.

Lost Maps data in Memory Card

I recently formatted my phone and memory card and lost the nokia maps data from the card.
while updating with nokia suit it says "can't find maps on phone". what can i do for getting back the data ?

You can use the data mart adapter to export the FDM Mapped Data to a file to be imported into EBS.
You could also use ERPI and use the writeback functionality.

About Apex4.0 release date

Possible to download google maps data??

hi i know this aint nokia related, but is it possible to download the google maps data onto my nokia 5800 similar to nokia maps loader?? i loove my nokia maps but sometimes its waay too expensive to always buy licence and i want to always be in offline mode to not use my credit. thanx

How to uninstall older maps data - folders are dif...

My E71 has maps data 0.1.24, i want to use newer 0.1.25. What are the steps to delete the older maps data?
In my memory card, there is a folder cities, inside it there are folders called maploader, diskcache. Inside diskcache, there are folders including clientindex, etc.

Firstly although prepared to help with OVI Maps issues any solution given would be biased towards resolving problems for Mac users for whom OVI Suite is not an available option.
Secondly with early N97 having a "chequered history" in that GPS hardware modification may not have been carried out on device if needed, resolution of issue may not be possible.
Although easy for me to say, I would probably always advocate a "hard reset" being carried out on device even if firmware just updated, although this would entail loss of all data. Additionally it would probably be wise to re-format "mass memory" after saving any important data.
I would at that point suggest downloading OVI Maps v3.04 for N97 Mini from here:
http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/maps-support/compatibility-and-download#/nokia-n97-m... ( avoiding need to use OVI Store or OVI Suite) drag across to "mass memory" find with device "File mgr" and install from there.

Most recent Maps data update wastes disk space

I noticed that used disk space on my N9 increased by 2GB and found that I now had these folders under cities: diskcache, diskcache_, MapLoader, and MapLoader_. I recently updated my maps and evidently the old diskcache and MapLoader folders were renamed with underscores and new ones were created, so I now have 2GB worth of the old Maps data and 2GB worth of the newest Maps data. This didn't happen after previous updates. I assume it should be safe to delete the diskcache_ and MapLoader_ folders. Has anyone else noticed this?

There's not much effort needed to find tones of threads for WP and almost none for Symbian.
There are even official video stickers of HERE Maps working on Lumia phones.
So I presume that yes, everybody is discussing HERE services round here. Why not do that for Symbian?
Besides, Nokia has made a commitment to provide lifetime voice-guided nav for Symbian devices. Without updates, the navigation is useless. If Lumia based phones are getting updates, I see no reason for us not getting them. I don't care who owns HERE (which is still Nokia, BTW). I purchased a Nokia phone.

IPhoto-map data@2013 google

I've used iPhoto for years but am now having a problem the map assigned to a photo. I inadvertantly clicked on the tab: Map Data@2013 google. Now a window with that title blocks the map and is on all my photos. How do I remove it?

I closed out of iPhoto and when I re-opened it the map data window blocking my Places map was no longer there. Problem solved!!
