About variable transfer in VC

Hello experts,
I want to confirm a issue.
The first page of VC application contaim a two-dimensional table which to display the query result, the talbe contaims row header and line header, the value of every cell according to the related row value and line value.
I want that when the cell be clicked to pop-up another report or table to display the detail informaton.
The backend is BI 7.0 .
Does it can be realized ?
If it is ok, please tell me the solution also .

The Question about stock transfer between HU-Management and WM-Management

Hi,
There is a scenario about stock transfer between HU-Management and WM-Management storage location. I use transaction MB1B , movement type 313 , 315. After Good issue from WM-management storage location, outbound delivery will genarated, then Pack, Create/Confirm TO, at last post goods issue for the outboud delivery. But when i do movement type 315, there is a warning message "Data of preceding document was not transmitted", and from the F1 help i find this system reponse "You can maintain an indicator that makes information about preceding documents in this delivery available under delivery type in Customizing. For some characteristics of this indicator, the type of preceding document and the related document and item numbers must be transmitted to delivery creation. At least one of these parameters is missing.".
So, My questions are:
1. Generallily, Outbound delivery is created by SO, inbound delivery is created referenc PO, but how the stock transfer for 2 steps generate the outbould delivery and inbound delivery? Could you pls tell me the where i can config this in the IMG?
2. What's "Data of preceding document was not transmitted" mean ? how to fix this issue ?

Sure, The inbound delivery type is set up in the IMG->Logistics General -> HU management -> Basics ->Delivery type -> Delivery type determination.
For Inbound delivery type 'HID' is maintained in this view.

Documentation about variable types & their processing in i_step = 1, 2 etc.

Hello experts,
is there any documentation about variable types and their processing in i_step = 1, 2 etc.? I know there is note 492504 "Dependent customer exit-type variables", but I don't understand, whether a variable which is NOT "Ready for input" will be processed in i_step = 1 or not (quote of SAP library: "i_step = 1: Call takes place directly before variable entry."). I experienced coincidentally, that some variables not "Ready for input" will be processed there and some not.
Furthermore it is an error, isn't it? Why has a variable without input possibility to be processed before input? Is this really the case?
Confused, any hints are welcomed!

for I_STEP = 1
Call before the variable screen .
for I_STEP = 2
Call after variable entry. This step is only started up when the same variable is not input ready and could not be filled at I_STEP=1.
for I_STEP = 3
In this call, you can check the values of the variables. Triggering an exception (RAISE) causes the variable screen to appear once more. Afterwards, I_STEP=2 is also called again.
for I_STEP = 0
The enhancement is not called from the variable screen. The call can come from the authorization check or from the Monitor.

You are not going to be able to run your old system from the backup on this old computer as the hardware is incompatible.
You need to get a new computer or a refurbished one.

About data transfer/update rules setup

After this BW loading project, I am wondering if anyone can confirm with my issues.
--What is the difference between'initail load & full load'? Examples to use them, please.
--If i use V3 to update, can I choose weekly? some expert told me that i can change the setting in OMO1 after first time loading. I tried it and it didn't work. Why???
--If we loaded into ODS and re-loaded to Cube, should I have the same loading schedules(update rules) for ODS and Cube?? (ex: both full load and weekly)?
--The update rule in OMO1 is for transfer datasource to BW and is nothing about ODS and CUBE loading, Am I right?
--Should I have the same keys for ODS and Cube?
--How can system not replicate loading? EX: every month sales order loading.

Here are the answer
--What is the difference between'initail load & full load'?
Ans:-Initial load means initialization which is one time activity if you do not provide any selection criteria while initialization ( this will take your all data to BW depends on extractor you are using ) once that is successful you need to switch your load to delta when you do this only records which are changed will be fetched.
Full load means al records will be fetched and will be aggregated whether you should go for initialization or full load depends on your data requirement.

Ans :--> I think if you are using Lo then you can change this in LBWE job control . OMO1 is if you are using LIS and you want to switch your update in LIS delta tables then the procedure is to go in LBW0 first deactivate your delta mechanism by putting your infostructure name then go to OMO1 and change your control parameter to schedule your delta mechanism on.

Ans -->yes you are right but let me make some correction
in OMO1 update parameters are for switching of delta tables of LIS .

User defined variables transfer data

Hello
I am using the etherCAT 9144 chassis and this hardware supports only target scoped FIFO. After a search, I realized that the only way to transfer data from FPGA to Host is by using User defined variables. But these variables do not support FIFO concept. So, which is the best practice to transfer data after measurements ( e.x 10Hz measurement of 15 values ) to host VI ?

As mentioned, the 9144 only supports scan engine.
As for what you should do, that really depends on the whole application. For example, what is the master? Are there other systems involved here? Etc. This is a good read in general, although it might not help right this second: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/14151/en/
From a high level you should decide what you need. If you need deterministic, low latency communication over longer distances from an RT controller, the 9144 is probably the right choice. If you need low-latency+streaming over short distances from an RT controller, you should look into the MXI RIO chassis. If you primarily need non-deterministic low speed (10 hz) data mixed with low-throughput streaming over long distances from a windows or RT host, then the ethernet rio expansion (9146,7,8,9) is probably the right choice. If you need high speed streaming with low latency control over long distances from a windows or RT host, you need a full cRIO controller. Based on what you've posted so far, its uncertain what is the right fit.
Lets say you're stuck with the 9144 for now. Given that you can easily hit 1 kHz scan cycles, it should be perfectly achievable to "stream" data at 10 Hz. If you run scan engine at 1 kHz then you're oversampling by 100x. Where it gets tricky is that sync requirement. By default the I/O acquisition is synchronized to the scan clock (and you can see when the scan clock is set through an FPGA I/O node). However, you can take full control of a module in the FPGA and read the I/O at any time you please. That is, you can set it up so when DIO0 goes high you immediately sample all 15 AI values. You can then transfer those latched AI values to the host using user defined variables.

Question about variable names

k, so I have a for() loop that I want to take the value of String fs1 through String fs21 and add them in that order to a String fs. So, my question is, can you do this in a loop? you can do it in PHP, and that's what I'm accustom to.
this is kinda what I want to make

Question about variable declaration

Hi all,
I have a (in fact, two) question(s) about the declaration of variables inside of time-critical code, like render loops or similars.
Does it really matter to use
for (int k=0; k<1000; k++)
for (int l=0; l<1000; l++)instead of
int k;
int l;
for (k=0; k<1000; k++)
for (l=0; l<1000; l++)concerning the speed of the app? What about doing this with non-basic types -> Objects, like to say Strings ?
And are there any resources where I can find out more about that and other things like that ?

Question about batch transfer limitation

Just got a brand new iMac 24" 3 days ago and love it. My first Mac.
I'm interested in creating hunting and family videos so I was reading about the differences between FCP and FCE. The articles say that FCE cannot do a batch transfer for capturing and I want to be sure I know what that means. Last night I hooked my Canon HV30 up and using iMovie it automatically imported all the video from the tape and it appeared to automatically group each different section where I had started/stopped the tape into different sections. That appeared to be a batch import to me so can FCE do the same thing as iMovie or does this mean something else?

It means something else. Batch capturing means you define sections to capture before you ingest the material. Then go back in give the applications instructions to simply capture the sections you wanted. FCE will capture HDV material very much as iMovie does.

Newbie ? about variables

I am completely ignorant concerning CF, for that matter I am generally ignorant as well. I own a website written in CF that I need to change. I am changing the URL to the site and need to update links within the site to reflect the changes. Most of the links contain a variable which would make the job easy but…. I do not know where the variable is set. I have pasted a sample page of code below:

ColdFusion is actually one of those tools that it will be well worth your time to get to know much better. (There are also third-party implementations.)
Of the various platforms I have used in past lives, there is "a subtle but important cleverness" to what they've done and how they've done it. There is much more to this system than initially meets the eye, vis-a-vis other more well-known systems like PHP. It will be worth your time to get to know it better.
According to the online documentation such as http://livedocs.adobe.com/coldfusion/8/htmldocs/, in the section ColdFusion Developer's Guide / Using ColdFusion Variables / Using Periods in Variable References, the "Variables.variable" syntax is a reference (in this case) to what ColdFusion calls a scope. (This particular scope-name is actually mentioned on that page.)
Two sections down, in ColdFusion Developer's Guide / Using ColdFusion Variables / About Scopes, we find a complete list of these "scopes" including the "Variables." scope.
The particular statement that you refer-to looks like a "do-nothing" because this scope is actually implied: the statement appears to be assigning the variable to itself. Nevertheless, ColdFusion has been around for a while now and it has evolved quite a bit during that time. Useful things have been added to the system in each of its incarnations. You might be looking at older code wherein such methods were deemed to be necessary. Or it could be a bug. Who knows.

that applet that u mentioned in the previous reply....Any server will do ... Apache, IIS ... The thing is IE do not behave as expected if you are running an Applet direclty with[i] file:// .
You install a local web server on your workstation, you deploy your html page and Applet and you display your the html page (with the Applet embedded) typically with something like http://localhost:8080/mypage.html.
